How Natural Wine Became an Underground Trend in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"At Barcelona Wine Bar, which won Best Organic Wine List in North America from World of Wine this year, nearly half the menu is natural wines; I noticed the selection leans Spanish but also features bottles from Lebanon, France, and beyond. One standout is the Los Conejos Malditos line from Más Que Vinos in Toledo — a skin-contact white made from leftover old-vine fruit in an organic, low-intervention setting that tastes minerally with notes of apricot and melon and carries a whimsical label about wild rabbits roaming the vineyard. The team there also reports an uptick in Dallasites requesting natural wines." - Courtney E. Smith

First time to visit. It was an enjoyable early light dinner with my daughter. We shared Tapas: Spiced beef empanadas (2 pcs), Grilled Pulpo (Octopus), chicken thigh a la placha, brocollini, house-made focaccia. Taste, quality, and presentation were above average. The pulpo stood out. The drinks went well wirh the Tapas. We had Wine Flight: Aperitivos - half pours of sparkling wine, dry sherry and red vermouth; and a glass of Pais, a red wine from Chile. The atmosphere was relaxing. Nice decor. Comfortable space between tables. Outdoor seating. Bar area. The service was very attentive and fast. We’ll be back.

One of the best dining experiences I have EVER had. Our reservation at a nearby restaurant was cancelled, so our group was beyond grateful for Barcelona Wine Bar's welcoming environment, kind staff, and speedy service! We were seated at the Chef's Counter and both the manager and our server were PHENOMENAL! We tried so many delicious dishes and can't wait to come back again soon!

Google
Well I was extremely pleased. We drove by this place and asked outdoor patrons the name of the place because businesses were booked up during the light up event. So I called and asked if there was a table open. The staff said yes and wanted to fill those seats. They were eager to help Then I was sat outside and Margo was the waitress. The food and service exceeded my expectations. I had never heard of this establishment. I don't eat downtown very often The tapas and entrees and deserts blew me away. The acorn squash with hazelnuts was outstanding. The sauces accompanying their dishes were exquisite the focaccia was the best I ever had. This is rare to find a 5* place with all their ducks in a row . The staff all seemed like they cared to provide help to me and were enthused about their job. Were they trained well or was this just luck ? I don't know but my experience was unbeatable and unexpected.

Every time we come here it is wonderful. From the host checking us in, to the wait staff and the food just amazing. Such a great place to grab a drink at the bar, or have a date night and also a wonderful place to gather with friends for dinner. I always look forward to going to Barcelona. Love the dates wrapped in bacon with the blue cheese sauce, it is one of my favorites. Last night we had the pork cheek, oh my it was so tender and just melted in my mouth. Everything is just so yummy, I have never been disappointed.

Google
My fav place in this city! Vibrant, lively atmosphere, delicious food and great selection of wine! This place was so busy on Monday! I guess it is a hot spot It feels like you are in European restaurant 10/10 to my taste Must visit for wine lovers!

Google
Highly recommend if you like tapas and a super relaxed vibe in downtown Pittsburgh. Although I went overboard with the amount of tapas I bought, they were all very delicious and made to perfection. The staff is very welcoming and personable. Not too loud inside, so you can have normal conversations. This is probably the closest to Iberian cuisine outside of Spain. Just make reservations and do it early. They get booked quickly.

Google
My new favorite restaurant in western PA. The food is a culinary experience. Every dish is gorgeous and a burst of many unique and delicious flavors. Having vegetarians and meat eaters both in our party, there was something amazing for all of us and we shared the vegetable tapas. Quality is premier and the kitchen seemingly an army of talented chefs and staff that prepare each dish perfectly. The service team is awesome equally. The ambiance is luxe but also comfortable. We had New Year’s Eve at Barcelona after having visited several times before. The pricing is really nice, lower than you would expect to pay for what you receive. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I cant wait to visit again.

Google
We dined here on a recent Saturday evening to celebrate my husband's birthday for which we had made dinner reservations. My brother raves about the Miami location so we had to try the Pittsburgh Barcelona Wine Bar. Wow! I cannot say enough to even describe how anazing our experience was! From the friendly welcoming staff, the delicious food, and lastly the cozy yet lively atmosphere! I'd give 10 stars across the board if I could!

Yelp
Love love love! I've been here 3 times and Barcelona never disappoints! Must haves: start with the ensalada and bread Order the bacon wrapped dates and Brussels to start You can't go wrong with any of the protein choices but def get the empanadas! And of course the potato bravas! I dream of the bacon wrapped dates daily and can't wait to go back and order then again

Yelp
Cute girls night! Sat at the bar and ordered a few tapas and they were all 10/10. The service was good, cozy vibes, definitely looking forward to going back. 2 bottles of wine & 3 apps were $133 which I felt was reasonable for it being a wine bar!
google avatar

Yelp
Really good food, and enjoyed the Gin & Jus cocktail. But wouldn't go back. We could not hear each other talk. The overhead thumping was so damn loud that it didn't add to the ambience, but was overwhelming and intrusive. One server told me it made her disoriented and confused. There are plenty of places to eat. Why go somewhere that's actively preventing me from visiting with my friends? But really enjoyed the food. Had a half dozen of the tapas and the only mediocre one was the not very spicy meatballs. Otherwise great work in the kitchen.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ended up going to Barcelona Wine Bar and I must say it was pretty outstanding. They have so many choices and I honestly wish we could have ordered so much more. We started off with espresso martinis and an extra dirty martini and they were sooo good. Just writing this makes me want to go back for another one hahaha. For apps, they have tons of options. We ordered the focaccia bread, which was recommended by another customer, and it was super soft and warm with the perfect amount of salt. We also got the spiced beef empanadas and those were absolutely FIREEEEE. For my entrée I had the chicken pimentos. Mine was a little spicy but in the best way and the flavors fit perfectly with the chicken. My boyfriend had the Parrillada Barcelona and he really enjoyed it as well. Overall this is a perfect date night spot. We like sitting at the bar and the service was perfect.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this spot. The atmosphere is super fun, the happy hour is great, and the papas dish was honestly the star of the night -- crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I hoped for. But the seafood paella? Kinda disappointing. It had almost no rice, which is literally the whole point of paella. The seafood itself was fine, but the portion felt incomplete and I left not feeling full at all. For the price, I expected something a lot more hearty and traditional. Overall: still a cute place for drinks and appetizers, but I wouldn't come back for the paella.
google avatar

Brandywyne D.

Yelp
Food was good, drinks were good but overall it is veryyyy expensive. It's a tapas bar so a bunch of a la carts items. They're delicious, don't get me wrong but I got the happy hour charcuterie and it was just one meat and one cheese, no crackers or dips or anything. My friend ordered the steak and it was maybe a millimeter thick. Everything tasted amazing but it was personally in my opinion, not worth the price. Definitely a place to maybe just order cocktails.
google avatar

Lindsey M.

Yelp
I enjoyed the atmosphere of Barcelona and the drinks were fabulous, but unfortunately some of the apps fell short for me. We got a bunch of small plates, and while some of them had incredible flavor (the brussel sprouts were top tier) some of the other apps didn't have much flavor! I'd definitely come back for charcuterie and drinks.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Barcelona Wine Bar is a good one-time experience. We tried a bunch of different dishes and most were decent and I honestly wish I could've sampled even more of the menu. The wine was good too; I forgot exactly what I ordered, but I remember it being delicious. Service was solid, though it did take a bit of time, and the place was super crowded- so definitely be mindful of when you go. The ambiance is great, but it can get really busy, so just be prepared for that.

Yelp
Came here for a work event, and their food and drinks were all very good. The space doesn't have good sound absorption so it gets LOUD. Food: Loved the potato tortilla. The vegetarian paella was super flavorful, and the seafood paella had a nice amount of protein. For drinks: The non-alcoholic Bees and Bays with lime and cardamom bitters was good and reasonable priced at $7. I enjoyed the Alebrijes with Mezcal and salted honey, but the Bourbon Spice Rack with the maple syrup and cardamom and lavender bitters was much complex and tastier in my opinion. For desserts: The basque burnt cheesecake was okay, and the cocolate cake was nothing to write home about, but the flan Catalan was very good. Their olive oil cake was deeeeelicious, enough that we ordered some additional to take home. Two days later, it was still excellent.

Yelp
I've been to Barcelona a few times. This time prior to a concert. I was driving late night so I didn't want anything heavy that would cause me to get tired. I got the whipped goat cheese with honey; I wish this was a staple on a charcuterie board but it was amazing on the focaccia. The croquettes were good and perfectly portioned. Our waiter was great and helped my friends select a few wines. The bar was low-key, dim lit, but for this visit it was hard to converse (and we felt very distant at our booth). I will always return bc the drinks, wine, and tapas are always on point!

Yelp
The concierge at our hotel recommended Barcelona Wine Bar as a good place for dinner. We found it in a neat area of Pittsburgh near the riverfront and enjoyed both drinks and happy hour food options. It is a modern and open setting with a nice old world feel. The servers and staff were great, friendly and interesting people. The food was really tasty and for small plates the portions were nicely sized. We'll certainly try eating there again given the opportunity.

Yelp
I came here for brunch and it was honestly awesome! I just got back from a trip to Spain and I'm honestly loving the tapas here still. They have tapas from different areas of Spain which is so cool. The brunch items are honestly perfect for sharing. We ordered two each and were rolling out the door. Definitely recommend the patatas bravas, pancakes, and Benny! Service was pretty fast and the Saturday brunch staff was honestly so so so sweet. Awesome time! The brunch mimosas are delicious too. Coffee was bitter but not bad for a non specialty coffee spot. I wish it was brighter inside during the day but I get natural light is hard to reach inside. Overall, I'll def be back for brunch!

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at dinner yesterday at Barcelona Wine Bar! First off, our service was impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and had great recommendations. Our server, Sarah, was the absolute best and we loved her!! The inside is large with a big bar and quite a few tables. We ordered a few small plates to share and we enjoyed it all! I particularly loved the flavorful spiced beef empanadas and you can never go wrong with their patatas bravas. The real star of the show for me was the branzino - the skin was crispy and the whole dish was perfectly seasoned and bonus, they fillet your fish for you! We ended the meal with some sweet treats and I adored our warm and fluffy olive oil cake. I will note, as someone who spent two weeks in Spain last year, if you're expecting true Spanish style tapas you will be disappointed (you will also be disappointed by the price of wine in America versus the price of wine in Spain). It's definitely more inspired by Spain in addition to Mediterranean and South American influences. However, the food is delicious for what it is and I would go back!

Yelp
We came for brunch on a Sunday morning, and Barcelona, once again, delivered! It was just two of us so we only got 4 total tapas, but each one was excellent! Excellent service. The yogurt with granola was wonderful. Tasty yogurt with honey, berries, and granola. There was a savory element that I couldn't figure out, but it was awesome. Next was the steak and eggs. The wonderfully cooked sunny side up egg accompanied a delicious piece of steak perfectly. Excellent seasoning and chimichurri. The star of the show were the olive oil pancakes with cinnamon butter. Wow!!! So fluffy, flavorful and fantastic! The flavor was unique, yet had that classic griddle taste. Fantastic tapa and these were 3 large pancakes! Bacon wrapped dates were a hit. Of course, there was more to try, but we got our fill and will be back!

Yelp
Our favorite spot ever!! Tapas are all SO good and the service is fantastic. We love Becca! Always a good time at Barcelona

Yelp
The food here was incredible. I had been to the one in Philly years ago but I don't remember the food being as good as it was here. I brought home leftovers for my boyfriend and now he wants to go back. I only managed to get three pictures before I got too tipsy. The drinks were also good.

Yelp
i had Rian he was AMAZING. it was my 21st birthday and i went out with my mom and he was so supportive and incredibly smart with such a wine tasting knowledge. He gave me 5 different wine tastings and they were delish!! he was so kind and seriously made this a one of a kind experience. the owner/manager jesse came over and spoke to us as well and he had only nice things to say about rian! super amazing environment, food, and wine!! definitely would recommend!

Yelp
Absolute favorite spot in downtown Pittsburgh. You cannot go without getting their Patatas Bravas! Love their espresso martinis as well

Yelp
Great vibe with great service. Staff was amazing! Table of 11 with 11 separate checks...handled spectacularly. Food (tapas) selection was excellent and very tasty. Mussels were absolutely delicious. Wine list was ver nice (wish wine flights gave more options). One downside, towards the end of the night they ran out of several tapas choices. I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. Drinks were delicious and food was stellar. Highly recommend the ham and cheese croquettes and the pork cheek, which was recommended by our server.
google avatar

Yelp
I met a small group for dinner before a show. I was amazed how quickly they whisked to me to the table. The bar was packed. Apps were ordered for the individual and if expressed for the table. I enjoyed the bread, the salad and pork belly.

Yelp
A friend and I visited Barcelona wine bar while on a recent trip to Pittsburgh. We made a reservation for Sunday brunch, but the place was not super busy when we were there. The staff were friendly and greeted us warmly. We placed our charcuterie order while we debated the rest of the dishes and put in a bottle of wine as all bottles were half off on Sunday. The food we ordered was all good, although the standouts were the charcuterie plate and the patas bravas. The steak was a little on the tough side, and our fig and chorizo was not brought until we were ready to go. The lager hunks of chorizo detracted from the dish. If you are looking for a fun spot to check out, this one should for sure be added to your list.

Yelp
I like a tapas restaurant and the atmosphere was nice, tho a bit too loud. The food was good, but a bit annoying with portions for a group of three. A little had sauces that didn't go well together and there was only one plate the whole meal. Service was very friendly and not bad. When we were seated, we were given brunch menus. We examined them (using our phones as magnifying glasses, since the print is tiny and the restaurant is dim - I saw no table without a couple people using flashlights or magnifying glasses - very poorly designed menu). When we'd figured out what we were going to start with and my dad arrived, our waitress told us that was the wrong menu and took them away. She brought us the dinner menu, which had some changes. And I had to use my phone again to read it. She also missed part of our first order, but it was loud.

Yelp
We want whatever the server is on! She was so awesome and happy to serve us and bring us what we want. We got many delicious wines and given free tapas! The ambiance is great and good for large parties. Would come back many times for drinks, foods, etc.

Yelp
My partner found Barcelona while strolling around the Penn-Liberty Historic District - and we were blown away by how perfect everything was! We spend a lot of time in Spain, usually Madrid, but many other regions as well. Despite the name being associated with Catalonia, the restaurant was pretty Madrid-focused, which we LOVED. My partner had the Primitivo Quiles vermut, which deserved five stars just by itself. We ordered tapas - the Caponata, Carrots with goat cheese, Gambas, and Focaccia. Every tapa was perfect, VERY authentic, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was nicely decorated, and the waitstaff were exceptional. If you're a fan of authentic Madrid-style Spanish food, this restaurant is for you!

Yelp
I love Barcelona wine bar! The food and ambiance are fabulous, and the service is always top-notch! Our server Ryan was fantastic, and the manager David was too! Some of our favorites that we ordered: Tortilla Patatas Bravas Swordfish Gambas al ajillo Chicken thigh Croquetas de Manchego Focaccia Cauliflower Broccolini This is a fantastic spot to meet friends, or have a date night. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent meal the other night with some friends before the Mumford Bros concert at PPG. This place was *packed* - just as their place is in DC (been there quite a few times when I lived there). We managed to find 3 spot at the bar eventually - avoiding the 1hr+ wait for a table. I had an excellent glass of Tempranillo. We opted to share a handful of tapas plates: Patatas Bravas (yummo!! Perfectly roasted and topped w/ a super flavorful, smoky salsa/garlic aioli), Potato Tortilla (like a light potato pie w/ tasty chive cream), Gambas al Ajillo (obligatory for tapas - decent dish w/ a bit of heat - tho I've had better), Burrata (the topping - a spicy peach/tomato mix was good, cheese was creamy - was a fave of one of our group). The atmosphere is nice - dark, candlelight, date-night material - though it is also quite loud w/ so many people crammed in! A popular downtown spot -- and w/ the food desert around PPG, this is a nice option that's maybe a 15-min walk away (tho, ladies, it can be a lil *eek* at night around that area). We'll be back!

Yelp
We had an amazing time here the other night, Dot and Taylor took great care of us. They offer half off bottles of wine on Mondays and we took full advantage! They have a huge selection of wine to choose from. We got so much food and everything was phenomenal. Everyone especially loved the paellas (the salvaje was my favorite) and the whipped sheep's cheese. This is the perfect place for a large group so that you can order a ton of tapas to share. The flan was to die for.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
Let me be honest-- highly overrated- I'm sorry, but it is. Gorgeous ambiance no doubt! Great for a date night -- I'd insist on a dressed-up date night here fosho. I absolutely adore the idea of Tapas usually. They serve pickled olives to snack on if youre into it. At the bar ordered the Pica Pica & a vodka Tea Time for drinks-- the Pica Pica was delish, not spicy at all (phew), I enjoyed that it was neutral. The Tea Time was decent, it was vodka tea. Now for eats-- not good, just not good. The tapas was way to overpriced for the quality. PORK BELLY w/ Mojo Rojo-- 1 slab of pork belly w/ spicy red mojo-- while I enjoyed the spicy Mojo, the pork belly is just fat & 1 slab-- umm --- for $11.50-- not gonna happen sorry. Then ordered the ALBONDIGAS- Spiced Meatballs in Jamón-Tomato Sauce-- $9.50 --pretty good. Although should have probably come with some toasted bread if youre going to serve a looootttttttt of sauce. Resembled a tasty meatball chilli. No shade but not worth the price for the overall experience. Ambiance -- 5 Food-- 1 Drinks-- 3

Yelp
Barcelona Wine Bar is a great location if you and your party love to sample a little bit of everything! It's fun to order multiple plates to share amongst your party, and different wines to pair throughout your meal. Amazing staff, multiple check ins and recommendations among the dining experience. Our server was helpful, fun and attentive.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and this was a great stop for us. I love Spanish food, and everything here was quality. We had bacon wrapped dates, steak, vegan options, charcuterie, breads, olives, croquettes , and wine. Really cool they also have non alcoholic wine here for sober people or just those taking a break. Service was quick, ambiance was cool, and upscale. We got in without a reservation around 4pm so that was nice. If you're in the area, I suggest checking this place out. Lots of unique food options for Pittsburgh .

Jesus M.

Yelp
Excellent service. Vast wine menu. Delicious meal selection. Friendly staff. Great aura.

Yelp
This is the Barcelona wine bar I've known and loved over the past few years. As I said in my original review, I strongly believe the server makes the entire experience. My friend and I had Dot this evening and they were just lovely! Fast, attentive, and personable. The food tonight was fast, prepared well and delicious. I can't get enough of that salad dressing! There was a party happening in the bar room and they were kind to allow us to sit back in the dining area to have a quieter meal but everyone seemed to being enjoying themselves. This was a completely different experience from my previous review and I am so happy to have gone back!

Yelp
We came by with a group of 8 over the weekend and it was very busy - we made a reservation in advance and recommend others do as well. As it is a tapas restaurant, we ordered several plates to share among our group (sadly, no pictures taken!). It is pricey in my opinion but the food is prepared well. The ambiance is welcoming inside and the menu selections are plentiful. Our server was friendly and kind. The only thing I strongly disliked, which took away from the dining experience, was the fact that they sat our group of 8 at a U shaped booth, where you only sit on one side of the table. In other words, you can't have a conversation with anyone on the other side of the table, and you have to constantly pass tapas around throughout the entire meal, which became a little annoying. Plus, it was very tight (we sat elbow to elbow), and there was no room to put our coats or bags except the floor. In the future, I would seat 6 people there to allow for a more enjoyable dining experience, which is what I see the intended dining set up is based on pictures. Overall, I will rate this a 4.25/5.

Yelp
Redeemed! Lovely experience with excellent service and delicious food and drinks. Absolutely loved coming here this last time.

Yelp
The food and the wine are excellent! The service was spot on. The tapas variety delicious.

Yelp
We started poorly, having to beg the receptionist to have a server come around. Things picked up. We got a very nice California Chardonnay at half price because it was Sunday. Dinner was four tapas, shrimp (excellent), cod (good), mussels (very good), and chicken (okay). Dessert was a great flan. We'll be back.

Yelp
My BFF and I stopped in here on Veteran's Day for dinner + wine and loved everything from start to finish. The staff were all polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server helped us with a sparkling wine recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for (lots of sparkles and dry). We were drooling over the menu options, so we decided to get several small tapas plates vs large plates. We got to try a lot of their dishes and left feeling full, but not bloated. Every bite was a delight and packed with flavor. The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were crispy and seasoned to perfection, while the scallops and swordfish were tender and fresh. The marinated olives were great to snack on throughout our stay and the house made focaccia was soft and great for soaking up the extra olive marinade. Our server helped us decide between the chocolate cake and the basque cheesecake for dessert (cheesecake won out) and it was the perfect end of night treat that wasn't sickly sweet. It came with some spiced apples and it was really well-balanced. If I ever find myself back in Pittsburgh I will definitely be stopping in here again!
google avatar

Erin A.

Yelp
I visited Barcelona as a part of a small team work dinner. There were 6 of us. The menu has an extensive list of tapas which made it easy to pick. There was a vegetable secrion, meat, seafood, paella, and dessert. The dishes came out fast and they were nicely presented and delicious. Several of us chose wine flights that our server helped us curate. I liked the dark atmosphere and the service was great. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Also, it was very affordable...for 6 the bill came to $450.

Yelp
So unique in the Pittsburgh food scene. This spot isn't like many places here in Pittsburgh. It has a loud but fun vibe with a great wine list by the glass and delicious foods. Would be great for a larger group. The only thing I would say is that make sure your wine is "good". The couple times I've been the red wines tend to be oxidized (meaning they've been opened a bit too long or aren't stored correctly). I'd say order a bottle or don't be afraid to let someone know if it tastes a bit off to you.

Yelp
I've been dying to check out Barcelona Wine Bar since it opened downtown and had a great time here! I loved the overall ambience of the place and found all the servers to be very friendly. I made a reservation ahead of time but still had to wait a very extra minutes for the table to ready. We were able to sit at the bar and grab a drink while we were waiting so the wait went by quick. I tried out a few different tapas including the patatas bravas, sweet potatoes, and the queso a la plancha. I loved both the patatas bravas and queso plancha but was not a fan of the flavor profile of the sweet potatoes. Also tried the paella salvaje which had a nice taste but the pork was a bit too fatty for my liking. The chicken in the paella was really good though! Overall a good date spot or place to go out with friends!
google avatar

Ali B.

Yelp
We just tried deserts and dessert wine but all turned out to be delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate cake.

Julie Anna E.

Yelp
Went here with one of my friends awhile back and we LOVED it! We tried a bunch of small plates and there wasn't 1 single thing I didn't like. Some things I loved! Like the chicken thighs, and the meat and cheese charcuterie selection. The wine was delicious. They have a huge long wine list with tons of options for everyone. I tried at least 3 and all were good. The service was excellent. I need to get back here soon!
google avatar

Kelli C.

Yelp
The food here was incredible! Everything we tried had wonderful flavor and cooked to perfection. They have so many options- something for everyone! The bread was chefs kiss but I loved the short ribs the most!
google avatar

Samantha R.

Yelp
Oh mannnn the cocktails here are next level. Loved the Valencian g&t I got - the fresh Valencian orange flavor was refreshing. But the real star of the show was the Alebrijes. This mezcal based drink with aquafaba and dragon fruit was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The focaccia was so good and if I had been hungrier I would have ordered more. The tapas looked pretty reasonably priced. Finally, our server was the best!! He let us sample sangria and made excellent drink recommendations. I would come back here in a heartbeat!
google avatar

Brenda Y.

Yelp
This restaurant is perfect for a girls night out. The sheep's cheese is amazing. However, the seafood in the paella was low quality and the paella itself was overwhelming salty. The chicken thigh tapas was a very small portion for its price. The service was good and the workers kept checking up on us.

Kathy P.

Yelp
Nice lively atmosphere. I sat at the bar and both bartenders were friendly and helpful. I started with a bartender recommendation- 2022 Asnella white wine from Portugal. Excellent. A lovely Sauvignon blanc type wine with a bit of fizz. 12.50 for 6 oz glass. My friend got an espresso martini- yummmm. Ordered the patatas gravas- amazing potatoes in a very nice sauce. I also tried the mao mao a la planchis but it was a little too fishy for me. The jamon and manchego croquetas are awesome. Ordered the olive oil cake for dessert. Warm, dense and delicious. Overall great service- rich is the best, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
Calm atmosphere friendly staff great food! Came by my self with zero issues. Ordered a few things from the tapas menu plus 2 mini Richmond Gimlet (refreshing).

Yelp
Love the food here and always have really good service from wait staff. However, even when you make a reservation you always end up having to wait cramped in the small entry way by the door squished with other people also waiting, kind of disappointing considering when you make a reservation you expect to be sat at that time. Additionally the tables are super close to each other and it can get very loud on a busy night. Otherwise - food is always delicious, reasonably priced, waiters are always friendly and willing to give recommendations and explanations. Good place to go with a group of like 4-5 so you can try lots of different stuff! Plus don't skip out on dessert because the chocolate cake we had was to die for.
