Had an AMAZING time here yesterday! Went solo dining for a couple of hours and had a fantastic time. Staff really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The whole team was attentive without the slightest feeling of being rushed. Really got to take my time and relax. Management was super friendly and helpful. Ambiance was amazing. The wine list is impeccable. My server, Allie, made some great recommendations and me feel like I was catching up with an old friend. And of course the food is ✨amazing✨ The pictures speak for themselves ;)

Went for Valentine's Day dinner what's reservation around 5:00 p.m. only waited about 15 mins for seating. I didn't have very much experience with Tapas so I do not know what to expect but the waiter gave us recommendations and we pretty much just went from there ordering everything including a pitcher of Sangaria. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent, romantic, highly recommend

Came here for a lunch date with my husband, and while I’ll admit everything was absolutely delicious, I’m personally not a huge fan of tapas-style dining. Yes, we ordered 10+ dishes for just the two of us and yes, we eventually got full — but I’m the type of person who, if something tastes amazing, I want a full portion to really satisfy my inner foodie binge. Small plates leave me a little frustrated. That said, the flavors were spot on across the board. Each dish was well-prepared and tasty, and I can see why people love this place, especially if you enjoy pairing tapas with wine. Service was fine — not bad, not fantastic. Waiting 5–10 minutes for drink refills got a bit annoying, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Would I go back? Probably if friends suggested it. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you like wine and enjoy the tapas experience. For me personally, since I don’t drink and prefer larger portions, it’s not exactly my style — but still a solid and enjoyable spot.

Great mixed drink and wine options. The cheesecake, bone marrow, steak, dates, and beets were amazing. It is a good vibe for a large groups of people.

I went for my anniversary. The food was excellent — everything was DELICIOUS! The table service was great. The only reason I’d consider not coming back is that they don’t take reservations into account. They’re not prepared to handle the process, and the wait time is ridiculously absurd, even though I made the reservation on their website and on Google. It was for 7:40, but I ended up being seated at 8:30 — almost an hour later, waiting outside in the cold. Other than that, the food came out very, very fast, which actually worried me after having waited so long. The olive oil and the sangria were wonderful🫶🏻

I have been wanting to come to this place for a long time now. Last night I finally did. I didn't get wine to honor my mother who used to drink it religiously but instead I got a White Russian with Nutella since they didn't have any Hershey's chocolate, to make it a dessert cocktail. It was absolutely delicious. I also got complimentary French bread with olive oil. Wow! That actually complimented my drink. The bar was full last night but I did manage to find an open seat. I didn't really talk to anyone. Just enjoying the lively scene. I am glad I went. I would highly recommend this place to my co workers. The bar staff were very accommodating and friendly despite the busy bar. Keep up the good work!

I love sitting at this bar and ordering a bunch of small plates. My favorites are the papas bravas and the potato pie thing but all the cheese and charcuterie was delish too. I haven’t had a bad bartender here yet! I’ve prob been 5 times in the last year. The atmosphere is cool, the hooks under the bar for coats and purses are amazing, eating outside with my dog was very nice too. 10s across the board for me:)

I’ve taken friends, family, and dates here and it’s the perfect spot for all of them! With a wide variety of wine to choose from you’ll definitely find something you’ll like! The large plate options take about 30-40 minutes to prepare so order those first if you do! Otherwise the tapas are plenty and come out quickly in less than 10 minutes.

First time trying Barcelona last night, and we may have found our new favorite go to place in RTC! We were glad we made a reservation as the restaurant was hoping. Very cool vibe, a bit loud but I have some hearing impairment, but really no big deal. Emma was our server and she was EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable of all menu items and the cocktail menu. We started with a charcuterie of aged manchego, jamón serrano and speck. We then chose 6 tapas. While the paella choices looked amazing we knew that would be too much food. We had: Brocolini Txipirones en su tinta Flank steak Filet mignon Jamón y manchefo croquetas Spiced beef empanadas Everything was amazing but the Txipirones en su tinta was amazing!! Emma had made sure we were cool with black squid ink as many freaked out by it. So good! Can't wait to come back again!

Was celebrating a special occasion and wanted to get some good wine and food. Lots of people rave about this place so excited to finally try. I was honestly a bit disappointed. We got their sangrias which were decent but we ordered a lot of the food to try. There were some dishes that we liked like the Paella, Flank Steak and Patatas Bratvas, but almost everything was too salty. Almost everything was heavily salted and in some instances, almost too salty to eat. The service, while very friendly, was extremely slow. Even before the restaurant started to pick up, we sat for about 15 minutes before someone came by to let us know our server would be there shortly. Not sure why this place gets so much praise but personally was not a fan. Entrees: Paella Mariscos, Flank Steak, Croquettes, and Mussels Sides: Patatas Bratvas, Eggplant Caponata and Broccolini Drinks: White Wine and Red Wine Sangria

We came to Barcelona Reston to get a break from eating Thanksgiving leftovers so we stuck to the seafood items. In a Spanish tradition, we got a complimentary pumpkin burrata tapas after we ordered sangrias. We ordered a few other tapas while we waited for the paella mariscos (seafood). The salpicón de mariscos tasted so refreshing as it resembled a mix between a seafood salad without the greens and ceviche followed by a garlicky gambas (shrimp) al ajillo. The bartender recommended the eggplant caponata and it did not disappoint as I liked the slightly sweet and savory taste. Finally, the seafood paella came and it was worth the wait with plenty of seafood and a nice crispy soccarat at the bottom; The half size portions was plenty for two people. We enjoyed eating at the wraparound bar and getting a taste of Spain in Reston. Will have to come back with more people so we can share more tapas next time.

We had such a great time at Barcelona!! Our server was really nice and the place is very busy. You'll definitely want to book a reservation, on a Saturday night especially. Everything we ordered was fabulous. Some of my favorites are the sheep's cheese, jamon croquetas, and patatas bravas. We also ordered Jamon Serrano, artichoke hummus, mussels, and the pork belly. The pork belly was phenomenal!!! I did not expect that to be my favorite tapas item, but it was so tender. The ambiance is lively and the tables are packed in. The bread to start is also so fresh and hot. Lastly, the sangria here is amazing. We'll definitely come back for more date nights :)

This place never fails me. We were there to celebrate our granddaughter's Event .They arranged everything so beautifully. Food was amazing .loved their croquet and shrimp scampi , Paella and meat platter .

Lovely restaurant with delicious Spanish tapas! I really enjoyed the ambience here. Service was friendly and fast. The sangria was delicious refreshing and just what we all needed. The sauce that came with the mussels we ordered was is so tasty that you enjoy eating it with the bread. Will definitely return to Barcelona.

Soooooo good. Drinks and food were on point. My only gripe was that the booths are narrow. I would highly recommend.

Wine is great here as well as the food. It's fun to get small plates to share among your group. Sometimes it's a bit too loud inside but I do love dining here! I'm also pretty sure they still offer happy hour deals also! The food is high quality.

The restaurant was dealing with an emergency since an ambulance showed up and went to what appeared to be the kitchen area. The restaurant kept running calmly as if nothing else had happened. It's great that the medical personnel could do their job without any interference. I hope the person recovered. .

So, I went to Barcelona tonight. Not the city, but the restaurant. While there's still La Corrida in Spain even today, this restaurant is no bull. It's a tapas restaurant (careful how you say that...so watch your diction), thus the proper way to eat is to order a bottle of wine, take your time, and graze. So that's exactly what I did. All for you, dear reader. Nothing selfish about the experience at all. I ordered a lovely Chilean wine right away and got to work. First up was the Patatas Bravas. The potatoes were crisp, flavorful, and fluffy inside - just like me. The bed of salsa was a simple but tasty tomato sauce. The dressing was a killer garlic aioli. It was "lick the spoon good." And be careful who you say that to! Next up was the chicken canelones. Wrapped in a delicious crepe, it had foie gras and a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg or something autumnal that I couldn't quite be sure of, but it was delicious. There was more spoon lickin' (and that's not a euphemism). I followed that with the flank steak in chimichurri. It was a little chewy, although it definitely seemed marinated which would tenderize it. The chimichurri was as good as I had in Argentina (RIP Evita). They could have tenderized the steak a bit more though, so maybe they should pound their meat (and that's definitely a euphemism). But I'm a harsh critic. It was a great dish and the flavor was awesome. Side note, they brought bread to the table early on, which I neglected. I ended up having it with the flank steak and that was perfect. No spoon licking here, but I sopped up the last of the chimichurri with the bread and I'm glad I did. I felt bad that the bread was as lonely as I was for most of the evening, although I'm glad it was saving itself. Also, I asked about the bread and it is locally baked in Arlington. Delicious. So, don't let your bread loaf. Eat it up! Other than the potatoes, the hot dishes were a little cool when they came out and the music was too loud...this ain't a night club! There was a lot of over the top "boots and pants" over the loudspeaker. It was unfortunately a bit too much. If I had been on a date, I would have needed to use sign language to communicate with my beautiful lady. Other than that, great ambiance. Perfect lighting, nice decor, very tasteful, natural materials. Speaking of boots and pants, the white collar people watching was highly entertaining. Full of DC intrigue and wannabes. There was some real House of Cards action going on. And I can neither confirm nor deny that they were filming "The Real Housewive of Reston" while I was there. Anthropological considerations aside, make sure you get dessert, too. I had the Olive Cake and it was exquisite. Ever so slightly crisp exterior, moist and flavorful inside, toasty warm, a little sweet but not overly sweet, great texture and mouth feel, absolutely perfect execution. Paired with a Dulce sherry which was great. My only recommendation would be that the olive cake would have been well complemented by a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream or even a little Crème Fraiche, both for taste and presentation. But, I niggle, as I do. They use obviously very high quality ingredients all the way around in all the dishes. And every dish was extremely well conceived and designed. Great flavors from end to end. My compliments to their Executive Chef. Chef's kiss! It's also worth mentioning that they have a fabulous wine selection with over 400 bottles. Also, my server, Emily was totally awesome. She was very pleasant, attentive, and helpful. The kitchen is open late, which is great. I'd come back for happy hour, dinner, or just late night drinks. Highly recommended.

Food was great and the staff was on point. The new uniforms look sharp!! Even got my oil changed.

Service: Great service by our waiter and staff. They checked in on our table several times throughout the evening. It was a Monday evening and it wasn't a packed house. Food: Delicious! I had the while Branzino, arugula salad and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Wine selection was abundant. Ambiance: very beautiful interior! TIP #1: There are specials throughout the week. Check their website for specifics. We came for 1/2 wine and it included the entire WINE COLLECTION which is great because a lot of restaurants only ahve a select few ro chose from. TIP#2: Park in the garage next to Jacksons (same building). Free after 5pm during the week.

We ordered a sangria, bunch of tapas, cheeseboard, and dessert. The sangria is really good. Unfortunately the rest of the stuff falls flat. The patatas bravas are good but nothing unique or spectacular. The sheep cheese is probably the best combination of unique and tasty. The eggplant, chorizo, and sheep are both bland. The basque cake was also not that good and felt frozen. This place used to be a favorite but likely won't be returning other than for drinks now. It was busy for a Wednesday night but the service was also awfully slow.

Party of 15 is an insane ask for a restaurant but at Barcelona I guess anything is possible. They were BUSY and we waited a bit for the table. We were seated and our waitress was an angel. Super attentive, super sweet, and did her best under the circumstances. The food was eh, I don't personally like Spanish food and I'm assuming since it was so insane inside that the kitchen was just pumping out whatever they could. We ordered a bunch of tapas but ended up missing a lot of them as our party was just too big to figure out the chaos of who ordered what. They did a birthday dessert for the birthday girl which was super cute (an olive oil cake). I would def go again to barcelona just to be with the people and the vibes but honestly wouldn't go out of my way.

Went to Barcelona for Christmas Eve lunch. The waitress informed that paella takes 30mintues to cook, so we ordered immediately which was a very nice to do. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and many tapas. The server was very attentive and even gave us a free tapas as it came out slightly later than normal time. Definitely recommend this place!

I am in love with this place and I can't believe that I didn't click any pics of their food !! Maybe coz I was so occupied eating it !! I do have the wine pic thou of that counts . But yes, their wine selection is amazing and the food to pair with them is super. The servers are so eager to assist you with the food choices that one does not go wrong. It's a Tapas style place which is hustling and bustling any day of the week. Go slow in ordering as their serving size is not bad so order 2-3 tapas at a time , they do come out very quickly so you can enjoy a sip before ordering the next. I recommend reservation ahead of time so that you don't get disappointed or have a longer wait coz this place is happening place !

Rather loud in here (music was bumping) and was super busy on a Wednesday night. We had a large party and were rather crammed in at what should have probably been comfortably 4 tops but we had like 14 people. That was my main complaint -- feeling cramped both personally and what we could fit on the table. My favorites we tried were: - gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) - spinach and chickpea cazuela The cauliflower was also quite good. Grilled octopus and patatas bravas were kind of meh; the octopus was super charred yet undercooked, the potatoes were a bit bland. The meatballs were fine. We enjoyed the bread they bring to the table. The service was very good considering how busy it was and our large group. I would come back with fewer people to experience this in a more comfortable setting.

This was my first visit to Barcelona. We were walking around Reston Town Center after lunch and decided to stop by. My friend said their Sangria was really good, so we just gravitated towards the bar. They had a couple options for Sangria (by the glass or pitcher), we chose a pitcher of white Sangria ($34), but I asked for less ice. The bartender was extremely friendly, I wish I got her name to give her some kudos. I did ask permission to take her picture as she made our drink and she said, sure! So if you happen to see her, say hi! The bar area was a little dark, but it really set a relaxing mood, which I was loving! They have such an extensive menu with so many items (food and beverages) to choose from. They are known for the tapas, but also have a few large plates and a variety of items for the charcuterie & cheese section. Would I return? Yes, definitely!

It was a beautiful day in Reston and I just finished getting my nails done so I said why not grab lunch outdoors somewhere and since I'd never tried Barcelona it sounded like a great idea. I was promptly greeted and seated and my server was super friendly and knowledgeable. She made a few recommendations based upon crowd and personal favorites and gave me time to review the menu while she grabbed my cocktail and complimentary bread and oil (which was DELISH). I went with a variety of tapas as recommended (and could only eat about 25% so I packed up the rest to go) but unfortunately was not wowed by any whatsoever... the ensalada mixta was probably the best but when you think about it how hard is it to make a decent salad. The truffled bikini was overly truffled and the seafood tapas I had with the mussels, shrimp and octopus was "fishy" which as we all know shouldn't be the case w fresh seafood. I was determined to find something that wowed me and when I saw olive oil cake on the dessert menu I had a hunch that would do it (& hoped I was right bc I LOVE olive oil cake) and was relieved when it DID! It was warm and topped with a little sea salt and was just perfect, WHEW! Would I come back .... possibly ... for wine, cocktails, bread and cake .... ON THE PATIO!

This is a tapas style restaurant so the portions are smaller. My friends and I would go and order a bunch and go family style off of it. From the multiple times I've been here -- it has always been a good experience. Service and ambiance is also great -- but... towards the night time, they start playing the music too loud as I believe it turns into a bar. Mind that though, go for the food and you'll be satisfied.

First time trying this tapas restaurant and I enjoyed the service and the food. I'm still dreaming about how good the whipped sheep's milk cheese was! Ended up trying different tapas including the shrimp, empanadas, and some other dishes. Loved the selection of wine and the overall vibe of the restaurant.

I have been to too many Barcelona's to count, but this has been one of my most memorable and best experiences at one. From the start, our server Enzo went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. When I told him of my nut allergy, he brought me an additional menu where he had personally marked all dishes with nuts and specified the dishes that could be altered to remove the nuts. That was so nice! The drinks were pretty good! I loved the guns and roses sangria! Definitely the str of the sangrias. Additionally, the food was good. I got the patatas bravas and gambas al ajillo. Portions were definitely bigger than what I'm used to for tapas so I loved that. Lastly , the vibe was really nice and this restaurant would be a great spot for happy hour or dinner!

Located in Reston Town Center, I stumbled across this restaurant when my wine pickup was interrupted due to Coopers Hawk being closed. But this mishap turned into a wonderful outing that left my belly full and happy. The decor was stellar, the service was on point and the food hit all cylinders from freshness to authenticity. Even though everything was very tasty, my favorites were the Patatas Brava, eggplant caponata and the Olive Oil cake. I couldn't believe how moist and light the cake was. And even though I was stuffed I was so glad I saved room for this sweet treat. Order the Aperitivo Board. It gives you a little bit of everything and is a great starter to your

Food is always excellent. I am a regular and Maria was the star of my most recent visit! She was so kind and went out of her way to make my bday very special at Barcelona. I will be sure to come back next year for it and hope to get Maria again!!!

I will say that I loved the bronzino, but everything else was a missing. The salad had way to much dressing and was overly sour and the potatoes lacked seasoning. This was surprising because the bronzino has seasoned from the head to the tail. The drink were ok . The tapaz were over priced especially like charcuterie build a board. The service was not the best as it was overly crowded. People from the bar were pushing into were dinners were sitting which made us a little uncomfortable. Especially when the guy spilt his drink on our table. It is very loud.

We made a reservation on Sunday for a party of 5 at 6pm which was quite easy to do online, and there was a lot of availability. We haven't had such luck in the past, so I do recommend making a reservation in advance. First thing's first, order paella as soon as you get seated, it took us about 40 minutes to get ours. Order it extra crispy if you want the rice nice and caramelized - some people think it's "burnt" that way, so make it clear what you expect! Our server was great - after he sat us down, he immediately asked if we wanted bread and olive oil, which is delicious especially when warm! Here's what we got: - Truffle sheep cheese - This was nice, but we preferred the default bread more as it was softer - Flank steak (chimicurri) - Just a nice steak - Patatas Bravas - Always good - Jamon and Manchego Croquetas - These were okay, ham flavor didn't come through - Paella Salvaje - Love this dish, didn't come out as crispy as I remembered it, so we'll have to order extra crispy next time - Olive oil cake - Our server's recommendation, was quite tasty! It's sweet, and the little bit of sea salt on top was a good touch. Just an observation, this place seems to be a popular date spot - we enjoyed guessing which couples were on their first date :P

Got the opportunity to try Barcelona's cocktails a bit more in-depth post dinner with a friend! The Espresso Martini and Gin drinks were lovely - not too strong, but very flavorful and allowed us to taste the liquor evenly alongside various spices. The espresso was creamy and had great notes of cinnamon in each sip. I loved the Lemon Drop Martini! Super smooth, not too sour, and appreciated the sugar rim. All drinks came out to around $12 each - not bad at all. Finally, the Chocolate Cake was a delicious ganache in a solid, lava-cake like chocolate base. As a lover of rich chocolate desserts, this one was an instant favorite of mine :) The service was incredibly speedy despite it being such a busy night! The servers were kind as always and made us feel comfortable from the time we got there. Worth a visit!

I attended a retirement party here and wow! The place was amazing and so accommodating! The food was fabulous and the wait staff unbelievably professional and courteous. There were at least 50 people at any point in time probably more than that cycled through as people came and left throughout the three hour party. The space was just the right size and the food and drink the staff, everything was perfect! If you are looking for a place to host a party this is it!!!

We met at Barcelona Wine Bar for lunch in Reston Town Center. I love that it so close to the parking garage and overlooks the park area. We were seated outside immediately upon arriving. We had peach mimosas and a variety of tapas. Highly recommend the chorizo and fig, and the potato tortilla. My friend was gluten free so we didn't order, but normally I also get jamon and manchego croquettes and the patatas bravas. Speaking of, the restaurant handled my friend's gluten allergy extremely well. They marked a menu with the items she could eat, sides that could be subbed for vegetables, and potential cross contamination.

Went to Barcelona without a passport My man and I came in for lunch and sat at the bar, the restaurant is so pretty and service is attentive. Our bartender (didn't get her name) super friendly and helpful with the menu. I asked for a non alcoholic drink and she made a perfect limoncello vibe type of mocktail. Super refreshing. We ordered bacon wrapped dates, potato bravas, steak chimichurri, asparagus, artichoke hummus, and beet salad. Olive oil cake for dessert. Everything was spot on and the perfect portions for lunch. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I decided to grab a late lunch or early dinner around 4 PM on a Monday. The place had a cool, upscale urban vibe. They've got a fantastic patio that overlooks Reston Town Center park, but it was way too chilly to sit outside today. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed and given the option to choose our seats. We picked a cozy booth. The decor was stunning, but we ended up next to a wall with these cubical designs. While it looked nice, I couldn't help but notice the thick layer of white dust that had built up on it. It definitely wasn't the most appetizing sight while we were trying to enjoy our meal. The waitress was super friendly and really attentive since we were her only table. She followed up with our dishes and kept the table clean and kept our water glasses full. They're famous for their tapas menu, so everything comes in small portions perfect for sampling and sharing. They also have a few full entrees available. Here's what we ordered: Wagyu Beef Carpaccio: 10/10 This was incredible! It just melts in your mouth. The meat was so tender and had a buttery flavor. I loved the salty kick from the capers. Topped with a drizzle of oil and cheese, it was a fantastic start. Spiced Empanadas: 7.5/10 These were good, but nothing too special. They were tasty, just not very spicy--more like a hint of heat. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I wouldn't even call them spicy. It was ground beef with tomato sauce wrapped in a crispy flour shell. Pretty straightforward. The dough was light and not thick which I prefer. Flank Steak with potato crisps: 8/10 The presentation could use a little work, but the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare--juicy and packed with flavor. Grilled lamb loin: 11/10 This dish comes with potato puree drizzled with truffle oil and topped with crispy potato strings. Sounds tempting, right? It's absolutely incredible! I couldn't get enough of it. I seriously wished I could have a whole plate to myself. Total winner! Highly recommend it. Salicin de mariscos: 2/10 This cold dish featured octopus, shrimp, and scallops, and I was really let down. Octopus is my absolute favorite, and this was just bland--neither cold nor hot, and lacking any flavor. Grilled Pulpo: 10/10 They totally made up for it with this dish! The octopus was tender and bursting with flavor, served on a bed of almond pepper sauce. It reminded me why I love octopus so much. It was a flavor explosion that I couldn't get enough of! Dozen raw oysters: 9/10 These were part of their happy hour special (4-6pm), with 2 oysters for $5. The presentation was the best I've ever seen! The oysters were beautifully arranged on a bed of sea salt, with plenty of lime around the tray and a tangy dipping sauce. It was such a clever way to serve them--when you slurp the oysters, your lips get a taste of the salt underneath. So smart! They were as delicious as they were pretty. The only reason it's a 9 instead of a 10 is that they were served at room temperature, which isn't ideal for raw oysters. This spot has a really romantic vibe, making it perfect for dates, business dinners, and a more grown-up atmosphere. When we come here to eat, we usually leave the kids at home since I doubt they'd enjoy the menu options.

Definitely a must try. Will get it everytime it's on the menu. We have been to Barcelona 30+ times and it's the first time we've seen it on the menu; we came at the perfect time. Jamón and Manchego Croquettes Me-8.2/10 Wife- 8/10 "always an 8" Classic, we always get it when we come. Good appetizer, sauce is yummy. Bone Marrow Me- 8.3/10 Wife- 8.2/10 First time trying bone marrow Flavor is a bit sweet, overall really good Whole Roasted Branzino Me- 7.9/10 Wife- 9/10 I'm not the biggest fan of roasted Branzino but the wife loves it. I do like the flavor, the potatoes and salad that came with her were yummy.

I came here with my family from Spain and they all agreed it's authentic!!!! The food was so delicious and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was great. This place is a great idea for a date night. Or to be with special people.

The food was delicous. I came here for a work dinner. My boss made a reservation, but we had to wait a long time to get a table. Eventually, we got a free round on the resturant for the wait so that was nice. We shared different dishes and had lots of wine. Everything the servers recommended were delicious. I loved the interior of the restaurant and dim lighting. The place was lively and very busy.

Would have been a good experience but me and my friend got harassed by a patron at the bar. The bartenders continued to serve him alcohol and he sat next to us harassing us, which was obvious. We asked for the check and they took forever which made the situation escalate between the drunk person and us. We told the bartenders and they just ignored his behavior. Despite us spending $100 on food and wine and still wanting to stay there and get more food and wine we had to leave because of this patron. Not a woman friendly bar. Barcelona staff doesn't care about female patrons and cares more to serve alcohol to the male patrons harassing women at their bar.

Whether it's for lunch or dinner Barcelona is one of my go-to restaurants. Their tapas selection is fantastic especially if you have folks with dietary restrictions e.g., vegetarian or vegan and they regularly change up their menu. Don't forget about their larger dishes as I always get a slightly larger paella and take it home - which is incredibly rare for me. The hosts and staff are beyond kind and knowledgeable when it comes to the variety of wines that they have and their service is consistently good. When the weather is good their outdoor seating makes for a good time. Be weary of Thursday nights as it can get incredibly busy especially if you haven't made a reservation so I always recommend folks to check their website beforehand. At the end of the day Barcelona is a great place if you want to hang out with friends, take a business lunch or dinner, or just enjoy some drinks. The decor and overall experience is the best that Reston Town Center can offer with Tatte or Sixty Vines coming in a close second and third respectively.

Went for a bday party of 8. Tapas style spanish food with a large menu. The patatas bratas were very good. The other menu items were decent but nothing amazing. they have sangria pitchers. Service was very good

I was traveling for business and was recommended by multiple people to go to Barcelona and it did not disappoint! A lively yet intimate location with delicious food and drinks! My waiter, Payton was a delight and was very helpful in explaining the tapas process and making recommendations. The servings are rather large so unless you're starving I recommend sticking to 1-2 selections. The olive oil was of exquisite quality and the bread freshly made, I am SO glad I stopped by!

Came here for lunch. Had Mimosa Peach sangrias, chanteuse cheese board, watermelon salad, mussels and Serrano Benedict. The food was excellent and tasty. Our waiter was Elijah was very good and attentive but no too hovering. The atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. Overall a great lunch

Loved it! It's a bit pricey but everything I ordered was delicious. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend Barcelona especially on a Sunday for Brunch.

If you are looking for some delicious tapas then this is your spot! The ambiance is very moody and seductive. They have great wines and are always packed. I've been here twice and enjoyed a variety of tapas including the gambas al ajillo, truffle sheep's cheese, potato tortilla, patatas bravas, chicken thigh, and flank steak. Our favorite is definitely the truffle sheep's cheese. It's very creamy and to die for. We've also tried the paella salvaje which was good and filling. Great date night spot. Would highly recommend! Overall this is a 10/10 for me! Love the variety of options in tapas that they offer.

Great tapas with plenty of outdoor and bar seating. The meatballs were very tender and full of flavor. Also, the abundant sauce is great for dipping your bread. The seafood paella was amazing. Perfectly cooked shrimp and squid. Clams and mussels were very tasty. The steak and egg was OK. Definitely get the potatoes. Super yummy! The servers will walk you thru the menu, if needed.

This is the perfect place to go if you are meeting up with a group and want to try many items. This isn't a place to bring a picky eater. I went here with coworkers and it was fun sampling foods I wouldn't try by myself. The servers were attentive and nice l, making us feel as if we were hanging out at one of our houses.

I love this place. The food is magnificent, and the service consistently goes above and beyond. Everyone is friendly, and I've never had a bad experience. The music and ambiance are always very pleasant. I've been coming here for a couple of years now--for business meetings, dates, and even when I want to be alone and enjoy myself. However, I've noticed that every single time I come here, even if the host or server clearly speaks Spanish, they won't respond in Spanish when greeted in Spanish. I find this ironic, considering this is a Spanish/Catalan restaurant. I'm not sure if it's due to a lack of cultural intelligence, classism, or linguistic discrimination, but I do find it very curious.

I love going to Barcelona with a group of friends so we can try a variety of tapas. Located in Reston Town Center, this restaurant is pretty popular and gets quite crowded at peak hours. Despite that, the service has always been great for me and the tapas come out quickly. They have a wide range of tapas, but I also like to order the paella (my favorite is the mariscos/seafood one) to share. The paella portions are huge - we had leftovers for the next day. Definitely worth checking out!
