How Brooklyn’s Barclays Center Serves 18,000 People During an NBA Game | Eater

"A major Brooklyn arena that feeds massive crowds on event nights, routinely producing roughly 1,500 servings of popcorn, 1,200 hotdogs, 1,100 chicken tenders and countless burgers, tacos and sandwiches during a single game. Operations are highly choreographed: leadership begins preparations early in the morning, shifts are planned differently for concerts versus sports because of bar versus food sales, and kitchen output to suites is timed so food is hot when guests arrive. Suites are run like dozens of separate parties (sometimes serving the equivalent of 86 distinct groups), private clubs and concessions stage food to be set up 20–30 minutes before doors, and the whole venue can serve about 18,000 guests in roughly two and a half to three hours. Concessions are the most variable department, with a peak halftime crush that requires rapid turnaround in about 15 minutes to keep fans back in their seats." - Avery Dalal

Awesome, came to see WWE Monday Night Raw, we had great seats. Pictures don’t really show how closer it looks in person. Food & drink prices are high tho. We were in : Section 8 Row 15 Seat 17 & 18

Google
It is a world class arena to hold basketball games and concerts. Food available inside. It's a little pricey but those are the times now. It is right at a subway stop, so easy to travel to it

Went there March 14th 2025 for Jhope's concert. It was wonderful experience and the staff were very helpful and stadium is clean. It's very big but they help you around. The concert itself was perfect!

The Barclay's Center. I came here with family for a couple of years and it was an amazing experience. Home of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, these two teams always put on a good show. Planning to come here this upcoming season for the Brooklyn Nets and have fun!

I’m visiting the city and attended a concert at Barclays Center this evening. Upon arrival, we were greeted by security, and everything seemed fine at first. The show was scheduled to start at 8:00 PM but didn’t begin until 9:25 PM, which was already frustrating. I chose not to eat or drink beforehand because I wanted to enjoy something during the show. Around 9:15 PM, I managed to grab a pretzel and a beer. When I went back at 10:20 PM for something more, I was shocked to find that everything was already shutting down. When I asked if any food courts were still open on other levels, I was told that they had already called last call and no one could help me. There was no announcement or heads-up that concessions would be closing that early—especially disappointing given the late start and the show running until 11:45 PM. On top of that, the constant interruptions from ushers running up and down the aisles—looking for people smoking or standing—made it hard to enjoy the performance. Everyone around us looked annoyed. I was already hungry and thirsty, and this just added to my frustration. When we left we noticed that 99.9% of the staff were rude and yelling at people to get out. My group and I left feeling disappointed and unappreciated as customers. We’re now heading elsewhere to get food and rehydrate—somewhere that actually values its patrons. I was seated in Section 218, and for what I paid, I honestly would’ve rather spent more to enjoy a better experience at another venue. If you're attending a concert here, arrive with a full stomach and drink plenty of water. Don't count on the venue to accommodate your needs. I won’t be returning, and I recommend you go elsewhere.

Went to the CHARLI XCX BRAT 2025 arena tour and had a blast in there. Getting through security and to our seats was easy, and finding some water was simple too. Of course, the concert was awesome. Even though we had cheap seats behind the stage, the view was still great thanks to the giant screen at the back. Even in the nosebleeds, I think you'll have a good time here. Also want to point out that public transportation worked really well both ways. The subway stop was easy to find and metros passed often.

Google
Very few sports teams have the energy that New York Liberty has! As for the venue itself, one of the best stadiums I’ve been to. Incredibly clean, easy to navigate, I can’t wait to return! This was the view from section 218.

Google
Big, bold, and buzzing—Barclays Center delivers modern flair wrapped in Brooklyn pride. Easy to reach (LIRR & subway lines at your doorstep) and packed with local food stands—think Juniors’ cheesecake, Brooklyn Brewery, and hot dogs—it nails the NYC arena experience . Inside, lighting and acoustics shine, especially for concerts, though upper-level seats can feel steep and crowded—and sometimes suffer from muffled audio.

Yelp
I would say it is more of a 4.5. This was my first time at Barclays Center. It is a great venue to see a concert. We were lucky to have floor seats, row 5. The seats were great but I stood most of the time. The acoustics were amazing, as was the singer!!! We were invited to the Qatar VIP Lounge. They had dedicated Mariah themed drinks for the evening, but you could really order whatever you like. The drinks were high quality and tasted awesome..The food was ok. I really liked the avocado toast. The avocado was fresh. The chicken was pretty good and the taquitos were meh. I would think for a VIP lounge for invited guests, the food could have been higher quality. I would say the food is probably where they lose 1/2 a star, along with every other concert venue...not having enough Ladies bathrooms!! All in all, it seems like people all over the venue had a good view of the performer.

Yelp
Great place to catch a game; this place must do some serious business as they had like 3 different games in one day. I was lucky enough to see my terps win over Syracuse. The one thing that really sucked was the fact at half time ALL the concession stands in the building seemed to be closed or as if they couldn't or wouldn't operate all of them - so the four that were open had lines out the door. I have been to many sporting events all over the US and I've never experienced this. Seats were awesome and the place is clean and visually appealing as well as right off the subway.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at The Barclays Center tonight. Moving thru security is like LGA but much faster and more friendlier. Once you get thru, the place was moving and shaking, bars were on the left and right. We found our seats quickly. I like the variety of locations available for wine and cocktails including Jay Z's upscale 40/40 Club and world famous Junior's Cheesecake. I'm also impressed because we had last minute seats in the 200 section. We could see the main stage. There are big screens and surround sound around the Barclays' so you definitely see and hear. Parking garage available but driving isn't necessary. This is one of the most accessible places in Brooklyn. This is Downtown Brooklyn the LIRR, MTA trains and MTA buses are available into the evening.

Yelp
Disappointing Visit to Barclays Center I went to Nets vs Celtics at Barclays Center, but the service was really bad. There were long lines to get in, and the staff was slow and not very helpful. It felt disorganized the whole time. The lines for food were super long, and by the time we got to the counter, a lot of items were sold out. The staff seemed stressed and unprepared, which made things worse. It was also hard to find our way around because of poor signs and crowd control. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I hope they improve the service for future events.

Yelp
Attending the Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks game on October 27, 2024, was nothing short of electrifying. Courtesy of the New York Association of Black Journalists, I had the privilege of covering the game from the media booth. While gaining media access to Barclays Center had its hurdles--two rounds of security and a slight hassle with my backpack--I finally made it in, settling into what felt like premium spectator seats. Unlike the media privileges I had imagined, there were no complimentary snacks or access to the exclusive tiki bar that always piques my curiosity. Regardless, the experience was unforgettable. The game kicked off at 6:00 PM ET, with the energy in the packed stadium palpable. Seeing players like Cam Thomas and Dennis Schroder for the Nets and the legendary Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard for the Bucks made it all worthwhile. When it comes to food, however, Barclays is an overpriced adventure. I snagged a meal and a souvenir cup for $20 before the second quarter. At halftime, I indulged in a bag of Sour Patch Kids and some popcorn, setting me back an additional $16. The popcorn, while fresh, had a short life. I noticed uneaten batches being discarded in large plastic bags, which felt wasteful given my $8 spend on a single serving. (And no, I did not take the usher's sarcastic suggestion to retrieve any from the trash.) The stadium, enormous and bustling, brought back memories of my last live basketball game--a distant 2003 outing. The layout hasn't changed much since, but the atmosphere felt new and inviting. For anyone considering a visit, I'd advise bringing snacks if possible (discreetly, of course). Security seems more focused on safety than snack smugglers, and trust me, the prices inside will make you wish you had. Between ticket prices, food, and souvenirs, the experience can get expensive quickly. As a solo attendee, I spent an additional $35 on top of the ticket, but families or groups can easily find themselves forking over $100 or more. Despite the cost, the game itself was exhilarating, and the Barclays Center reminded me why live sports are unmatched in energy and entertainment. Would I go again? Absolutely--but next time, I'm sneaking in a bag of chips.

Yelp
Came here for the Brooklyn Nets basketball home game against the Orlando Magic. This is also part of the Nets: Kids Games series. Section 23 is a dedicated area for kiddos to play a series of video games to win prizes and can even get memorabilia- personally autographed by the players. Barclay itself is a circular maze with signage everywhere to pinpoint the section and row for your seats; it does get a bit hectic as the crowds gathered in the concession area; thankfully all staff personnel were really nice and helpful to direct us to our seats and even allow me to take pictures near center court. Concession food is super expensive (though, Glaze Donuts were giving complementary baked goods pre-game); Bathrooms were kept orderly and very clean and wait time was fast and quick. Overall, a really good experience for me and my kid.

Yelp
I have visited Barclays Center for several New York Nets and Liberty games in the previous years. The best times were during the Kevin Durant era with huge crowds and great games. I love the area and the vibe of being in Brooklyn. It is in a great location right by the two train. As soon as you leave the station you get to embrace the Brooklyn experience. There are several stores and restaurants nearby to hang out before the game. Day or night there is always something going on in this area. The nice thing about going to games in the Barclays Center is that it is much easier and cheaper than going to MSG. You get to see your favorite opposing team for half the price that you would in Manhattan. Getting inside is quick and easy. My favorite part of the stadium is standing area in the first level. If you have tickets in the higher levels you can come down and watch the game without spending more money. There is usually a large crowd of people hanging out here so come by early if you want a front row view. The food choices are great. You can go your typical Brooklyn route and get Junior's cheesecake which is a fan favorite. Fuku provides the spicy chicken sandwiches and fries. As with any stadium, food options here are expensive. Drinks can set you back $16 or so. It is highly recommended to come early and try out one of the local eateries and then attend the game. The games are usually great. For the last couple of years the Nets have been doing well. The Liberty play during the summer season. It is always a great environment to watch a game. I went this past week to see the Liberty in the playoffs. I was able to see them win and go to the next round. They even had a half time show by Ja Rule. That was a throwback which I did not expect. You can usually find halftime shows by local rap artists here which is great.

Yelp
Barclays center is such a great venue! Over the past year, I've been to a concert, a liberty WNBA game, and a graduation ceremony! It's always been a great experience Although, the food is so expensive - which is expected for stadiums, but I'm honestly always shocked at just how expensive it all is! Ambience: it is a really fun environment for all these events!

Yelp
I love going to Barclays Center for basketball games. The location couldn't be more convenient--right by Atlantic Avenue, so as soon as you step off the train, you're basically there. There are plenty of restaurants around too, which is a nice bonus. I've been here over five times, mostly for Nets games, and it's always a fun experience. The energy in the crowd is amazing--everyone's cheering, and it just feels alive. Even with the sticky floors due to drink spillage, it doesn't take away from the atmosphere. The staff really keep the crowd involved, which makes it even better. The only thing that bugs me is the food. It's pretty overpriced, and honestly, not that great. I got a hot dog once and the bread was stale, but I was starving, so I just went with it. If you're planning to eat, I'd definitely recommend hitting up one of the local spots outside the arena instead. That said, I'll definitely keep coming back for the games. Just maybe not for the food!

Yelp
Visited Barclays for the Usher concert, it was my first experience to the venue so I was looking forward to the show and how it looked in person. This place is massive and getting to your seat can be an adventure lol. Security kept the crowd moving which helped but there were a lot of congested areas that were covered well by staff. The lines to the concessions were crazy long and the options were a bit limited. Prices were high, but who's shocked? The show was great and I did enjoy the view. A major plus is that the metro stop is right there which is very helpful. I'd be interested in visiting again to check out a game.

Yelp
I always wanted to visit but never knew one day at my son's graduation I will end up here. I was way to emotional to enjoy this place lol..! I was way to focus on my son & feeling overwhelmed with joy. This is probably one of my proudest moments in life, I am glad after all we had been through I got to see this day & he got to graduate with honors ! As a student government President he was seating on the stage & looking at him up there my eyes were getting foggy with tears. This kid went through a lot as a kid, there was a time I thought it will never come but it did. I am gonna stop now, time to review this place lol..! This place is huge, lots of exit. Obviously crowded. We were lucky that my parents were here to visit this place & experience this proudest moments with us. They loved it. My mom keeps saying can't believe how organized & clean this place is. The country we are from she doesn't get to see this type of stadiums! The security in the front could be better organized but I don't blame them ! They are overwhelmed & tired probably. It's not easy to work on a place like this. Maybe one day I will come back to watch a game or concert. Then I will be able to fully enjoy this place. I was just too busy with the graduation

Yelp
Nice, new, modern arena. The inside is pretty dark, which is kind of cool. The paint is primarily black and dark gray. It kind of reminded me of a space ship. The inside of the arena felt a little smaller than I would have expected. However, holding 19,000 seats it's not really smaller than my home arena. The women's bathrooms are kind of small although there did seem to be a good number of them. There were only 8 stalls in two of the bathrooms I went into. This isn't really enough for women, but they were clean and I saw people actively cleaning them. Drinks for the concert I attended where pretty expensive, but it was to be expected. $16 for a single and $26 for a double. $18 for a premium single, $28 for a premium double. The pour was pretty heavy though.

Yelp
I went to see Usher at Barclays Center last week. Usher is an amazing singer and talented performer. His concert was everything. He performed a lot of his greatest hits and he even brought out some artists. He had Doug E. Fresh, Lil Kim and GloRilla perform. He even came down into the crowd and shared some moments with his fans. I would definitely go see Usher again. I'm glad that I was able to see him in my hometown Brooklyn, NY. Thank you Barclays for an amazing experience.

Yelp
Came here for a concert. We accessed a lot a block away which was a 2 minute walk. Nice newer looking building that is labeled easily to find seats. We used the American Express entrance that is on the side of the building. Took us 30 seconds on the line which was awesome. American Express users also get 10% off on food and drinks when using your card. Brooklyn Boardwalk is like Amazon Fresh. You swipe your card and walk out with want you want. The few employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Good first experience here.

Yelp
Janet mf Jackson!!! Had amazing seats. The staff were all over the place providing assistance to everyone. The spot of clean. The lines moved so quickly, and there was plenty of parking around the area. The concert started on time and I had the BEST time of my freaking life. I love me some Janet!!!

Yelp
I've been to three different big concerts here and I'm never disappointed. The center is clean and the lines/crowds are well managed. I can usually sit and enjoy my show too. Not too shabby for a music venue.

Yelp
You see peculiar things when you go to see the Liberty play at Barclays Center. Men and women. Boys and girls. Old people (a number of the half-time dancers are seniors!) and young. Straight and gay. Friendly security guards. Movie stars. Sports icons. All sitting side by side. And what are they doing? Just having a great time. Because a Liberty game is a rarity: a no judgement zone. They held a 'Unity Night' in August, which I found odd, because every game the Liberty play in Barclays is a unity event. No profanity. No ugly behavior. I have never seen an inebriated fan. The cursing and inappropriate behavior that has become ubiquitous at other New York professional sporting events does not occur at Liberty games. There isn't even any booing (unless a ref blows a call)! Everyone is happy to be there, happy to be together. It's just a place to cheer and your team to victory. And what a team! A New York team that really GETS New Yorkers. A tough team, with attitude, strength and an abundance of talent. A team consisting of players who pick one another up. A team that has yet to win a championship (but not, I am certain, for long). And the place literally rocks. At times you would swear the building was shaking, especially when a Liberty player sinks a 3-pointer in a close game with little time remaining, then excitedly waves a victorious fist, exhorting the crowd as she runs down court. Everyone standing and screaming deliriously at the top of their lungs in response. That is when the arena starts spinning and the roof comes off and everyone is lifted up simultaneously, almost to the clouds.

Yelp
I've visited the Barclays a bunch of times for concerts but never to watch the Brooklyn Nets. That all changed on Wednesday (Nov. 8) when I attended a Nets vs LA Clippers game. A frenzied atmosphere with exciting fans made the game fun as the Nets roster looked to protect homecourt, which they did. Pulled out the W against former Net, James Harden, was the cherry on top! Fun times were had! There are tons of food options from Asian, Mexican, Italian cuisine to traditional stadium fare of hot dogs, burgers, and popcorn. I ordered a chicken tender meal with waffle fries from Fuku, which was just okay. It was nothing too crazy but was filling. So I was happy. Service is quick and the workers do a great job of getting revelers their food in a timely manner. I have to say, food/drink prices are steep (too pricey, if you ask me) so prepare to spend a pretty penny. A 16 oz bottle of Essentia water cost $9.25 after taxes. Mad! Also, there are phone chargers to rent if your cell phone battery is on its last leg.

Yelp
Came here for Doja Cat's concert. At first, it was a bit confusing to get to the entrance because there were lines everywhere and there were some lines that were not real lines. Once we were allowed in, the process took around ~15 minutes for the line to move as everyone had to open their jackets, open bags, make sure pockets are empty and walk through the metal detectors. Afterwards, we scanned our tickets and were able to find our seats quickly due to helpful staff members motioning us to the direction we needed to go towards. The stage effects, sound, and the lighting was great. The temperature was just right for us to take off our jackets and not feel too hot or too cold. There were screens on both sides of the stage for us to get a clearer view of the performance. The food stalls were selling fries, chicken, soda, water, and alcohol. There was Doja Cat merchandise sold inside and outside the stadium (although I'm not sure if the ones sold outside are legitimate merch). The only thing that dampened my experience was that there were people smoking/vaping in our section. It was like having our own section's fog machine. Aside from second-hand smoking, I had an amazing time and would definitely attend another concert/game here in the future.

Yelp
My first time coming here was for a comedy show and we arrived early enough where it was not crowded at the entrance gate and walking to our seat was not overwhelming. As we circled the walkway for our seat section and food, it felt like a mall, with different shops and brightly lit. The seats were comfortable and we had a good viewing angle. Would come here for events again.

Yelp
While Madison Square Garden is most iconic basketball arena in NYC, it is Barclays that will ultimately take the cake for just about everything else. It's obviously newer, nicely designed, and has all the bells and whistles one could ask for in a top-notch venue. It is the home of the Brooklyn Nets, major conventions, and some of the city's biggest concerts / entertainment acts. It's only been a hair over 10 years since its inception and has transformed this part of Brooklyn forever. Most non-New Yorkers might be surprised to learn there is no dedicated parking lot here. Instead, it is accessible by railroad, bus, and has its own subway stop in Atlantic Ave (now known as Atlantic Ave-Barclay's Center station), one of the busiest transit hubs in the MTA. Instead of taking a vehicle into the messy traffic that is Brooklyn (#1), I recommend arriving here by subway. There's no doubt, Barclay's is beautiful. The "oculus" out front is where design meets technology, as the giant LCD screen is as dynamic as anything in Midtown. It took nearly a billion dollars to build this architectural wonder, which is enormous and takes up several city blocks, which starts at where Atlantic Ave meets Flatbush Ave and is rounded out by Dean and 6th Ave. It is enormous. Depending on the event, capacity varies from 15K to 17K. I've sat in all parts of the arena and I'm pleased to report that the seats are comfy and the views have been decent all around. To no one's surprise, the arena prices for just about *everything* is going to be a bit much. At the bathrooms are free. And they're nice. I've enjoyed some of the best concerts of my life here. Basketball is always a treat, but so is practically any sporting event happening here. I love the amenities, which include some decked out VIP suites, a very decent food court that are from Brooklyn, and the ventilation here is perfect year round. ______________ (#1) Which is by far the worst traffic in all of NYC. (#2) Watch me sip my $25 beer very slowly ...

Yelp
I've been here a number of times now for concerts, and I have to say, each experience was killing me a little more inside. The staff, specifically the security leading us inside, do not know what they are doing. There were three of them giving people different instructions. Who were we supposed to listen to? My latest visit was for a Chinese concert, Joker Xue, over the weekend. The concert was supposed to start at 8 pm, but by then, 80% of the fans were still standing outside in the cold, waiting to get inside the building. They were not utilizing the other entrances until 8:00 PM sharp. That is ridiculous. So many people missed the beginning of the show despite arriving early, like my husband and I. They were extremely disorganized, and that is very disrespectful to both the performer and the fans. After finally getting inside, they were giving out the light sticks inside. But despite entering from the entrance directly in front of one of the staff handing them out, he said, "No, where did you come from? I'm not giving this to you. Go around the building. They are handing it out by other entrances." What the hell is that?

Keisha K.

Yelp
Where do I start, extremely long lines, lack of organization. Waste of time, when people visit an event center, they are there to enjoy an experience. Thankfully there are other event centers with better management and customer service. #UBS

Yelp
Not feeling 100% and recovering from a bad cold, I decided at the last minute that I had to attend Madonna's Celebration Tour. A long-time huge fan, I didn't know when I would ever get a chance to see her again. I also read that she didn't come out until 11 and 10:30 for the first two shows here. She came out at 10pm (start time was scheduled for 8:30pm). It was worth the wait. As sick as I was, a burst of energy came over me and I screamed, sang and danced the night away. Madonna can still bring it at the age of 65. She didn't disappoint and also engaged with the audience the entire night by making us laugh. This arena holds about 19K but I found the sound coming through much more clearer and stronger than MSG. Idk if it is due to the credit of Madonna's audio tech crew. I also found it easier to get to your seats and exit than most arenas. I was not happy when my companion went to get a cup of water for $7. But man, I sure needed to sip it throughout the show from all the 2 1/2 hours of dancing. Madonna got her start from NYC's Lower East Side (where I grew up). She is the epitome of "if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere." She is an icon, a revolutionary in fashion that has lasted 4 decades in the music industry. The 32 tracks played bought me back. It was a spectacular show full of stunning visual effects. You are the Queen of Pop. As for parking around here: Good Luck

Yelp
Saw Childish Gambino here last week. I have a fair amount of social anxiety, so large groups usually put me off.. but everyone working here was really nice and helpful. Even the security guard poking around my purse and examining my feminine care products for drugs, was lovely in her efficiency. XD Also the show was amazing. I would absolutely come back.

Yelp
Surprise trip to NY included a trip to Brooklyn to catch the Nets play. I know when you think of NYC you think of Madison Square Garden but let me tell you the Barclay's Center did not disappoint! Who knew you could purchase tickets that grants you access to a separate entrance (my friend and thank goodness he did lol). We entered at the Qatar Airways Entrance right next to the AMEX entrance. Yes, if you're an AMEX cardholder they have an entrance just for us! They offer complimentary drinks and give you 10% off if you choose to use your card at the concessions. Upon entering we went upstairs to Suite Level A, where we were greeted with a few friendly faces. They asked for our tickets and then we were given wristbands. The wristband gave us access to the 40/40 Club (If you're thinking Jay-Z you're right lol). All you can eat food was included in the ticket price and I have to admit they provide a smorgasbord of food. There literally was something available for every type of eater you can think of. You also don't have to worry about standing in long lines to purchase your drinks, as there is a fully stocked bar on this level with friendly bartenders. I can't remember the young man's name, but he was funny and was most definitely pouring drinks lol. After experiencing this level of exclusivity at an NBA game it will be very hard for me to go to a game and just sit in the "regular seats" paying for overpriced concession stand food and drinks. From now on I need a wristband and access to the Suite Level :).

Yelp
The people who work here are pretty crap. The seats on the floor for concerts are too close together. Had 3rd row for Depeche Mode and I felt suffocated. Sound was mediocre. My friends in the nosebleeds, I thought they were going to fall forward and die. Bathrooms were clean but lines were annoyingly long. Not my favourite venue, but I bet you can tell that

Yelp
I've been a fan of the exterior of the stadium ever since it was built about 10+ years ago as I stood outside of it on a couple of occasions back in 2013-14. It has a very unique look to it. I was never in town while there was a BK Nets game taking place, but decided to check out game 3 of the playoffs vs the Philadelphia 76ers this year. I got pretty good seats for a decent price on Seat Geek where I had a great view of the court/game. Crowd was pretty split between the 2 teams and the action was great as Philly won on their way to a sweep. Joel Embiid is huge af in person, by the way. Drinks are food are pretty much on the high end, but thats the norm with most stadiums now...good stuff though. Security team near the floor was cool as hell and very good people. Got to hang out a bit after the game to see regular patrons hooping on the court and players coming out to greet their families. Stadium is very easy to get to s its right off the Atlantic Stop Subway. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby to check out. I would definitely come back here for a game or an event the next time I'm in NY.

Yelp
Well, absolutely terrific awards event that was hosted at the Barclays center. The site lines were great and the location was convenient but the seats were super tight and it was pretty disorganized in the beginning. Other than that, though, we had an awesome time and I can't wait to come back again for another concert Event. We're ready for The 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclay's Center. Let's blow off the roof!!!

Yelp
Went here for Brooklyn Nets game, got VIP tickets which included food. There were metal detectors when you entered. Space is very big and however the food was mediocre. The game was good, we got front row seats!

Yelp
New York's newest stadium. I've come here a ton of times for graduations, sports game, concerts and other special events. Food is about the same here as in all stadiums. The seats are narrow and if you stand up too fast it is possible you lose your balance. Not my favorite stadium.

Yelp
Came for a Knicks vs Nets game. The stadium is easily accessible from trains and there's lots of food in the area. There were lots of different concession stands in the stadium that provided various kinds of food. We saw they even have jerk chicken available. It was so cool. We didn't have any, but I would try it. Our seats were good. We had a good view of the game and were not in the nosebleed seats. Staff were nice. One staff member working the main entrance let us skip the line because we had kids with us. 4 stars. Solid venue.

Yelp
Came here for a Liberty playoff game and the place was rocking. Been to other arenas and this was a vibe. I appreciate the down to earth and lowkey funny staff. Sure you get a couple who really don't wanna be there but the good outweighed the bad on my trip there. They were also giving away free gift bags which was a nice treat. Definitely spent way too much money there on alcohol and food. It was maybe a tad bit more than I imagined it would be but the food was way better than other stadiums. It's still stadium food so don't expect it to be gourmet but it was better than expected. As you walk around the arena you see different vendors and interactive things. The halls seemed big enough to not run into people which is always a plus. I was sitting in section 124 and it was a good view.

Yelp
Interesting venue. Went for a Chris brown concert. It's sad that they give you everything in a cup and can't even drink water from a bottle. Staff was a bit rude and didn't clarify policy. Food of course is overpriced. The tickets were also overpriced and the stage set up obstructed higher views. Limited space to stand and very steep. I'd rather fly out and go to a different basketball venue since it was so cramped with many problems. Even the technicians increased the music volume so it was difficult to hear the performer's vocals.

Yelp
Lovely game between the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat! It was a full house and we had fun! The home team won! We will be back again for more events at this venue! Cheers! Cons: People stepping on chairs and leaving their garbage. Do better Brooklyn, guests and Brooklynites!

Yelp
Heard so much about this historic attraction in New York. Needed to visit real quick. The atmosphere was busy on the street. Just did a nice drive-by to view this amazing historical place.

Yelp
I am reviewing Tickmaster.com, not Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This company is terrible. They do not take phone calls. Their phone support is manned by bunch of low paid workers. They will not refund or credit you because event orginizer has a policy. Ticketmaster pretends not to know who event orginizer are. In our case, Justin Timberlake showed up at 09:30PM, so 50,000 people were sitting and waiting from 7.30PM in their seats listening to DJ playing radio tunes from the 80s. Remember this. Once again, Barclays is ok venue. Ticketmaster is a low quality shitshow co peddling tickets.

Yelp
We went today to see Jurassic World live tour on a Friday afternoon. Staff was friendly. Crowd control was organized. You have to put your belongings to go thru security. I have two bottles of water and they saw and didn't say anything. We ate chicken tender with fries $13 plus tax at Paisanos Burger. Some eateries were not opened at that time. Food was ok. There were Jurassic World merchandise stands. $30 for a sword. $18 for popcorn. Iceee etc. Photo op with green screen starting $30 a package. The show was awesome. The chair was comfortable. Sound system was descent. We can feel the dinosaurs stomping vibrations. My kids love the show. We had great experience today.

Yelp
The process to get inside is so disorganized when you are entering. And the staff is rude, ruining the experience before you even get inside. Every staff I've encountered while there seemed to be having a bad day or just tired. Who knows? It's just a snarky response to whatever you ask. And even when directing you, if you don't know, the interaction with the staff sn't pleasant. Besides that, There's lots of nice food selection. They have access to a nice custom jersey, and the chairs are comfortable, but overall, I enjoyed the game while I was there.

Yelp
I've been to Barclays Center before but only for their suite rooms because my sister used to work for a company that would raffle suite tickets for events at Barclays Center and my sister is a very lucky woman. So of course the suite experience was always amazing with its buffet of comfort food, sodas, and snacks. The checking point was even separate from the regular lines formed outside the venue so it ran smoothly. I ended up going with my family to this venue for the Jurassic World Tour and this time, we had regular seats so we went through security through the front section of the venue and it was horrible. The security that checks your bags made the experience feel like we were at a security check-in at the airport and they were just as rude. Then once inside, the lines to show our tickets was scattered but I think it's like that for all of their stands as well. When I went to get cotton candy and popcorn, there was a woman complaining to the cashier that he let several people skip her and he answered that he couldn't tell who was next. There wasn't any formed lines in the souvenir stands as well. We had good seats for $35 that wasn't too far from the stage so we were able to see the show well. The problem was that the seats are too tiny and close to one another. There was a point during the show that my husband was getting knocked on the head several times with one of the souvenirs by a kid who was sitting behind him because of how cooped up he was in his seat. The Jurassic World Tour itself was a fun show. If you want a better experience than the one I had then I definitely recommend that you get suite seats if you can afford it.

Yelp
Venue isn't the easiest to get to and not in the best of areas. Getting into the venue was quick through security. I didn't order any food but from what I saw it looked all looked good. The venue is big and very steep especially if you are sitting at the top. I would only go here again only if I had to for a concert

Yelp
Attention: JEFF GEWIRTZ - STOP AAPI hate at Barclay Center! JOEL LEVY, AGM, told me to reach out to you. I'm Taiwanese American. Went to a Lakers Nets game yesterday with my daughter. At the end of the game with less than 5 minutes left, descended down to the lower level to exit and stood behind seats watching the final couple minutes along with 15 other fans. One female Barclay usher told everyone that as long as we stand behind seats we are good. 3 minutes later, another male usher comes back and says everyone needs to leave. He then comes only to my daughter and me out of the entire other group of fans (none of whom were Asian American) and up to my face asking "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?" Joel was right there and all he said was the employee apologized - NO HE DIDN'T. Racist and discriminatory comments should not be tolerated. JOE TSAI - DO BETTER and perhaps ensure that even folks (including my 12 year old daughter) of the same descent as you are not being subjected to and protected from conditions based on their race and national origin. Appalling, disappointing and should not be tolerated. Didn't pay hundreds of dollars to be treated like trash. STOP AAPI hate. Sorry but no longer think highly of you. LAKERS org would never condone this. Jeannie - give me a call.

Yelp
This is a great event venue. Very convenient to get to via subway. I've been for an EDM fest, a comedy show, and most recently a concert and it's always a smooth experience. Security is usually fast. They have a limit on the bag sizes that you can bring in so make sure to check the website for details. They don't allow reusable water bottles so make sure to leave those at home. The bathrooms are very clean but can get crowded quickly. Concessions and drinks are pricey so as with most NYC experiences, it's best to pregame. For the concert I went to, general admission tickets were quite expensive so the majority of the audience sat in the stadium seats. This makes for a less fun, dancey atmosphere so I prefer Terminal 5 in Manhattan as a better venue for live music.

Yelp
Great experience at the Barclays Center watching the Brooklyn Nets! The atmosphere was electric, and the team's performance was top-notch. The venue itself is modern, clean, and well-organized. Definitely recommend catching a game here for an unforgettable time! LET'S GO BROOKLYN!!!!

Yelp
The service is terrible and the the seat guide was so grumpy that she looked like she was owed a million dollars. We accidentally sat one row forward because our seat number was deducted, and she rushed over and accused us of deliberately sitting forward. When we asked her what the correct seat was, she responded with "you asked me?" This made us feel very sad and angry. If we each spent $400 and were accused and wronged by the guide, then I hope she will do this to everyone until she is fired.

Yelp
Very accessible by the LIRR. Went here for a playoff game, and even then, the ticket line was very efficient. Once inside Barclays, the energy is palpable. As this was a playoff game, towels that read, "Playoffs: The Brooklyn Way" and noting the away team and game, were distributed upon entering. Black T-shirts bearing the word "BROOKLYN" were given to those who participated in activities out in the halls of the stadium. These activities included shooting mini basketballs into hoops and answering on camera what you like about your time at Barclays (this footage was for their social media, not TV). The Brooklyn Nets "Beats" drum line was phenomenal and energetic both on and off the court - they started playing by the entrance lobby before the game and also played during game break entertainment. Staff is very helpful in guiding you to your seats. Prices at concessions are what you'd expect - not crazy expensive but more than what you'd pay at a convenience store. And a note on the restrooms: Decent amount of stalls, line went relatively quickly, sufficiently clean. Lively and fun atmosphere!
