Barcode has been a preminent fixture of downtown DC for over a decade. The staff is friendly and attentive, the management is helpful and responsive, and the menu is far beyond what you would expect from a spot that primarily gives off bar/club vibes. I've been a loyal patron of their Thursday happy hours (and beyond) since 2016. The weekend brunch scene is lively and incredible (the brunch buffet is can't miss breakfast/southern soul). Their DJ selection is on point and their live music pop ups are don't miss. Regular hours post pandemic are Thurs-Sun, but they will work with you to host an event on their off days. Shout out to Ashleigh, Devon, Janae, and Zarko, love them to death.

My class reunion was here, food was amazing

Google
Went for a night event, the steak and fries were great! Because of the event, lighting was low but felt comfortable eating the meal. Friend calmed strawberry lemon drop was too strong but her shrimp dish was good as well! Wasn’t able to order straight away due to a lack of servers but they helped as soon as they were able. Plenty of seating and tvs for visitors.

Google
A time was had with my family for sure last Sunday Brunch..Barcode it is always a pleasure to visit the service was 10 out of 10. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. A job well done until next time keep up the great work with amazing service 👍

Keeping Faith

Google
DJ was excellent. Female and male mangers post a male falling only wanted the male removed, no 911 call because EMS did not show up and the managers were extremely rude to the multiple young educated medical professionals that were thankfully on the scene to assist. It was a 90’s party.

Yolanda Brown

Google
The brunch food is amazing — flavorful, fresh, and served just right. And don’t even get me started on the day parties… they be LIT every time! Good vibes, good music, and a crowd that knows how to have fun. Barcode definitely knows how to set the mood!

Jackie Williams-Jackson-Wright

Google
Great brunch! Especially if you are tired of hosting for everyone. Folks pay at the door and eat and drink all the mimosa you want. The DJ was lit. The food was excellent, and the service was out of the world.

Chantel Tinker

Google
Food was good enough, even though they messed the order up at first. I'd just say the jerk wings aren't "jerky" enough but the honey bbq wings are good. The drinks are the usual you get from most spots, not strong so not worth paying for imo.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday night around 7:30pm for a networking event and it was the first time I realized this establishment was Black Owned! As the last day of Black History Month, I was very proud to support them. I had the Shrimp and Brussel Sprouts and they were pretty yummy. I was proud of my selections since I ended up sitting near a registered dietician. As the place grew more packed, it took a while for me connect with a waiter to place an order for my food. As the night went on, I think she was the only waiter available Despite the limited staff, I was happy to support this establishment again

Yelp
Where do I start ? Was walking by on a Saturday night and decoded to stop in. There was some kind of 'Tech" party so we had to pay a cover Walked in and it was smoky. The venue still allows hookah, however ppl were smoking cigarettes and weed all willy nilly in here. The Place really was stanky stanky!! Gross! My guest and I sat at the bar. Cocktails are heavily overpriced at $18 to be placed in a plastic cup, smaller than the water plastic cup. Also, my friend got the cadillac margarita, same $18 as my blue magic, and his cup was even smaller than mine!! Bottom shelf drinks made in different plastic cup sizes for effin what?? Only good thing was the lovely woman in the bathroom who was making sure everyone had paper towels and cleaning up

Yelp
Barcode is such a vibe. I have a great time every time I come here, whether it's for happy hour, evening drinks, or a networking event. I've had their grilled wings, Brussels sprouts, and other menu items, and I'm never disappointed. My go to drink is the aperol spritz, and it's made perfect every time.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday brunch. More than likely will be my last visit. Once we arrived & checked in, the manager at the door told us we had to sit outside because inside was booked. Asking for clarification on tables on the inside, the manager stated "Your table is outside because the inside is overbooked." There was no specification on whether tables were inside or outside when booking. After stating we were leaving to go elsewhere, the manager then said "Give me cash & I can find a table on the inside". 1.) How is inside booked & now you can all of a sudden a table's available 2). The credit card was already charged & now you're requesting us to pay again?! 3.) Once we got settled, the food menu was extremely limited (maybe 7 items).

Yelp
Great spot for brunch and to take in the game! If you're looking for a fun spot with a solid, brunch buffet and full menu on weekends, this is your spot! Not to mention, there are tons of TVs around to catch the game over some good drinks with friends. Nothing more to ask for on a lazy Sunday. I came here to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a blast just hanging out over some good eats and drinks. The food surprisingly for a buffet, is really good with an honorable mention on the chicken and waffles and also the shrimp and grits dish. Not to mention there are bottomless, mimosas and sangria offered as part of the buffet. The price is a bit steep at $60 bucks, but I would say it was worth it, considering you take advantage of eating enough food, and scarfing down enough drinks. Lol food vibe. There's a DJ playing good beats, and you can bet there is not a dull moment in the place. it turns into a party situation quick. Overall, Barcode is a cool and fun spot. The restaurant vibe is open with the patio seating outside leading into the bar/restaurant makes the place seem spacious. Most of the seating is a combo of booths and high top seating. Just be aware that the buffet and brunch starts around 12 PM-5 PM this place gets seriously crowded. So it's best to get there early! Not to mention, the parking can be a little tough around the downtown area as we all know. I can definitely get with this place, not on the regular, but every now and then to change things up on the weekend. I've been here during the weekday, and things are much quieter. No buffet, but a full menu is offered and it has a great bar vibe. So pick your poison with the type of setting you prefer. I'm a bit more in the middle to chill sports bar type on my end. Either way, this place does not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Fun place to go for Sunday funday, usually has a dj and good music. Foods pretty good. I can only recommend Sundays because that's the only days I've been.

Yelp
I went to an event where I was able to network with other Black Mental Health Professionals. It's an ordinary lounge, nothing special about it. The drinks and food were good. I'm not a club person, but think it was a good spot for this networking event.

Yelp
We should have left as soon as we walked in but it was recommended so we stayed. The place reeks of smoke. How is this possible in a restaurant? My clothes smelled like smoke when we left. Even though we were literally the ONLY people in the place it was like being in a casino with stale air and smoke. Service was subpar with staff seeing to just sit around (had to ask multiple times for condiments and water refills). Good I ordered was ok-mini chicken sliders and French fries. Sliders are definitely mini but were hot and tasted good. Not sure what the deal is with this place but never again for me.

Yelp
A trendy cocktail bar with indoor/outdoor seating, not far from the Metro rail. When we arrived the were changing over for evening time operations and there was a lot of activity. Despite this the staff was attentive inside the bar. We got drinks at sat outside on the ample furniture in the beautiful DC September afternoon. We relaxed as people walked by and it was one of our nicest evenings. As I said, they were all busy preparing for the evening so we were just alone out there. Very nice.

Yelp
Came here for brunch which is $40 and includes an entree and two drinks. Either two sangrias and mimosas. The inside is very comfortable with mostly booth seating and a few high tables. Brunch features a DJ and starts at 12pm. I had the shrimp and grits which were well seasoned and tasty and it was a decent size plate. My friend got the fish and waffles which she enjoyed as well. There are no desserts on the menu although we did ask the owner/ manager (?) and he said he would look and see what they had but it got busy and he forgot about us for a bit . Overall an enjoyable experience. Expect it to be kind of loud around 1:30/2 when the crowd starts coming in.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
This was my first experience here at Barcode. I did not know but there is a $10 cover charge just to enter the building to have brunch which was $48 and the $10 did not go toward your meal. With brunch you get 2 mimosas or 2 sangrias. I chose the sangria option which tasted like juice. There is an option to buy wine by the glass. No cocktails were available on the menu but there was a bar. The food was good, I had the shrimp and grits. They also had a waffle and pasta station which came with brunch. I was able to choose ingredients to put in my pasta (chicken and spinach was my choice) and the waffle had powdered sugar and some chocolate or caramel syrup as toppings options. The place was nice, clean, and the ambiance was good. Music is pretty loud so don't count on having conversation without screaming. All in all brunch was a good vibe.

Yelp
Buckets of booze + nice food selection + fancy atmosphere = Definitely a vibe for weekend brunch. Good for groups or with your better half. The dinner crowd was arriving, as we were leaving and they were ready to eat/drink/party. Wouldn't mind going back for an evening out. **Parking can be a bear, so pack your patience. You MIGHT snag a meter or find an open garage. Good luck! __ IG: @f.hux I #yelp and I know things. Keep reading... https://linktr.ee/f.hux #foodieHUX #yelpelite #yelpeatsdc #yelpdc

Yelp
This was my first time at barcode and I do see myself returning for a second! The music was great, the space was well thought out and the aesthetics weren't boring. If you're into sports they have a great viewing screen that you can watch from any seat. I was there to celebrate a 35th birthday party. The service was okay, my drinks came out on time (I do recommend the strawberry henny) I didn't like that when they served my food, they placed it down in front of someone else and left it there. However they were good with quickly clearing the table of rubbish. The food was decent, I heard the cheeseburger sliders were really good. I had the grilled wings (they lacked all the flavor in the world) however I felt like they weren't an unhealthy snack.... They are served with ranch dressing and ketchup. The fries were good,, didn't find anything wrong with them ... made up for the tasteless wings.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday after lunch for the day party on a Saturday. We got a table which came with a bottle. We also ordered hookah! I can't tell you anything else after the drinks were served! *insert I might have been drunk face* I had a good time. Good vibes, good people and good music! I've been before for a day party before on a Sunday! I've always had a great time for every event I've attended here.
google avatar

Amber N.

Yelp
Logistics: It was $20 for entrance on a Sunday night. It was also a fight night so I don't know if that factored in to the cost. Cops will perform a search on you at the door. It's a great vibe and energy. The music was loud like a club but I didn't really see anyone dancing. It felt more like a place for chilling with people at tables and some smoking hookah. We found a place to sit immediately when we entered. They had TVs with sports on like football. I was starving and it took a while to get service but their kitchen stayed open until 1a I think so luckily someone took our order in time. The grilled chicken wings were delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly which is amazing for a late night place. I will definitely go back here.

Yelp
Barcode is always a good time! It's a little expensive and very small. The food is bomb! The DJ get the crowd hype! Parking is limited.

Yelp
BEWARE!! If you go to this spot DO NOT use your debit or credit card!!! I was there about 3 months ago and ordered a patron margarita that was equivalent to the size of a cough syrup top, which, I paid $20.50 for on my Amex. Today, three months later.. I get another notification from Amex about a pending transaction from Barcode for $20.50 I would strongly advise going elsewhere.. the drinks are tiny and overpriced.. and the food is just OK at best. *I tried to leave a negative Star

Yelp
I have not visited this place in a while. But, it's a lounge on the weekends with hookah, food and a live dj. We had table service and the waitress was attentive, the music was old school hip hop. It's a nice place to go if you want to just have a cocktail.

Big L.

Yelp
An amazing place all these years. I visited recently for a birthday brunch with my partner where we were seated at the bar. I accidentally ran into a manager who I politely asked if we could move to a better seat. He immediately found me another seat and insisted I come to him for any concerns. Service was top tier, clean bathrooms, amazing SERVED buffet, fresh meals, great mix of music just perfection
google avatar

Christal B.

Yelp
The mimosas are a little watered down but the Sunday brunch food options are great. The DJ makes sure you have a good time.

Dana G.

Yelp
Food is ok. Drinks are not worth it. I have no idea what kind of champagne they use in their mimosas but you could have 10 and not be buzzed.
google avatar

Anthony G.

Yelp
Food was good but the atmosphere was a little to much if I wanted a night club I would of went there.people dancing on the table music so loud u can't hear the person rite next to you. Bartender was great kept the drinks coming.
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
I had a good time here. Shoutout to Ashley our bartender. She was super dope!! It was a whole vibe. Good outdoor and indoor options. Highly recommend reservations or advance ticket purchase so that you can have a seat. The burger sliders were awesome!! My friends loved the chicken sliders and cheeseburger. The only issue was a short security guard. He came out of nowhere and caused issues with everyone hanging out near us. He was horrible! I wish I had gotten a name. Thankfully we were already there for several hours so we decided to leave.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall it was cool. I went there to get some food and drinks while I finished up some work. The waiter was very pleasant. I tipped him well. I ordered the steak (medium) and eggs. The steak came out closer to well done. I told the waiter and he exchanged it, no problem. The second steak still wasn't as medium as I wanted, but it was better and still good. I had to remind myself this is not a steak house. Mimosas were unlimited and great. Good music. Great vibes.

Yelp
Went to this place on a whim of my friends asking me out to join them. Definitely felt under dressed but I'll be official next time. Anyway, the host was very polite and helpful and they accommodated my group nicely. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles because that's how I judge all brunch spots and this place didn't miss. And I am a huge fan of places that fill the ambiance with 90's 2000's Hip Hop and R&B. Definitely will come back here during the later hours! If you're into music and Brunch check this place out.

Yelp
Just finished at the National Geographic Museum just around the corner and was craving some pizza. We were seated quickly and our server was awesome. Very friendly and lots of great suggestions for Hapoy Hour specials and food. Ordered the winter salad (substituted romaine for the spinach) and margherita pizza. They gave me some molasses thing instead of extra dressing but it was quickly remedied when I asked. My sister had chicken and waffles (waffles were dyed pink in honor of the cherry blossom festival) and a Caesar salad. Our server really was great, five stars all the way. Didn't even bat an eye when I asked about the Yelp 20% off with check in. Most people were only drinking at the bar while we were there (5-6PM) so it definitely seems to be a spot for after work drinks.

Yelp
I came here with my bf for "90s R&B Dinner". With 90s R&B and food being 2 of my favorite things, I was beyond excited. I liked the layout and the ambiance of the place. There were many booths (which I love) and we got seated in one. It was a pretty busy night, but our waitress came over in a timely fashion. We weren't quite ready to order, so we asked her to give us a few minutes. BIG mistake. This was the beginning of our hunt for the waitress multiple times during the night. When she finally came back, she took our food and drink orders. I ordered Don Julio on the rocks with lime and I received a very small shot. No rocks. With lime. She dropped the drinks off and walked away so fast that I wasn't even able to tell her that it wasn't what I ordered. After waiting about 5 minutes hoping she'd return to fix my drink order I just decided to go to the bar and fix the order myself. The bartender was very nice and fixed my drink without a problem. Another worker brought out our food sometime after. I had shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and my bf had what was supposed to be steak tacos and chicken wings. Once again the waitress messed up our order and gave him chicken tacos when he ordered steak. He was hungry and didn't feel like waiting so he ate them. He said the tacos good but the wings were. My Alfredo was bland and didn't like it had any cheese in it. For the second time I tried to track down our waitress but to no avail. I got another waiter to bring me Parmesan cheese and pepper to add some flavor for the dish. It was okay, but definitely not anything to write home about. Also, the shrimp doesn't come mixed into the sauce. It's pretty much grilled shrimp on the side. My bf and I agreed that we would return to Barcode for drinks only. We had fun, but the food was quite underwhelming.
google avatar

Vivek D.

Yelp
Came here to grab some dinner and drinks at the bar while on a business trip. The bar itself was quite long and there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors available. The food menu was quite expansive. I ended up getting the fettuccine alfredo which tasted pretty good. The bartenders were pretty nice and hospitable as well. Only thing worth noting is that the hours listed on Yelp (the correct times) differ from what's on Google (i.e. it's listed as the bar open till 2am on Monday's when it really closes at 11pm). Just something for the owner to consider revising.
google avatar

Ramon H.

Yelp
So me and my boy wanted to smoke hookah before hitting a night spot so we hit this place. It was a Saturday and it was before 7pm, and there was a $20 cover! Like wtf lol not even busy yet. But it's their business so it is what it is. Hookah was good, they use the little square coals instead of the usual circle coals. But then we wanted more coals and they charge for refills. I frequent many hookah bars and this is uncommon. Bartender was great and music was cool if you like load hip hop, r&b type music which I do. I won't go back cuz it's just overpriced in comparison to other spots, I'm not a cheap person but cover fee that early and coal refill charge is crazy to me.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Great place to grab drinks with colleagues or friends after work. There is plenty of seating inside and on the patio.
google avatar

Yelp
My review is for a large group, party of 10, dinner on a Saturday evening starting at 8:30 PM. A few days ahead, I called to place a reservation for the large party. I was hoping to have dinner at 8 PM, but the receptionist encouraged a later start at 8:30 PM. Upon arrival to the restaurant for a late dinner at 8:30, we were SHOCKED to hear the DJ at full blast already. It took quite some time to adjust to the music volume level, which seems pretty inappropriate at 8:30 and made it near impossible for group conversations at the table. As we settled in and it got later, the music was less of an annoyance. We liked the music, just wished it didn't start so early. Also found it quite strange, that a man was allowed to approach our table to sell us flowers? The service was good, with our server checking in, and refilling drinks. The only complaint was a meal was forgotten by the kitchen, so about 8 minutes elapsed before the last guest was served. The good/great: The food!! Everything we ordered from mussels, salads, steak and pasta were all so great! The portions were good sized and everything was cooked perfectly. Our group was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of food despite the DJ/Bar feel. I'd totally recommend checking out Bar-Code, but much earlier in the night!

Yelp
It was just ok. The cover charge was 20 or 40 the drinks was a reasonable price and was strong I did not try their food yet but it looked good as other people got food. The bouncers was ok. The bathroom was really clean The bathroom attendant hooked the bathroom up with cocabutter, mints spray etc. their clientele is really snobby and standoffish the bottle girls was snobby too ignored you and one said "I will talk to you if you buy a bottle" LOL. I would come back for brunch but not as a nightlife spot
google avatar

Debra G.

Yelp
I made reservations for tonight for 2hours on open table. It seems like no one is talking to each other'. I have a flyer that says free before 10pm I get there at 845 for them to tell me that it's a $10 cover charge period. Then getting into the lounge for the young lady to tell me that the tables are for bottles only. I showed her my reservation and she said she didn't know how open table allowed me to make that reservation. She did get the manage who did honor my reservation. The music is pre- recorded from the summer because he keeps saying happy birthday Gemini
google avatar

Tee J.

Yelp
Lets start by saying Barcode wouldn't honor our reservations from opentable. After arguing with one of their rude hostesses the guy in charge found us a table. Our waiter was kind but he disappeared after taking our drink orders for a while. We finally was able to place our orders once he reappeared a after 15 mins. When we received our orders the food was bland, all of our food ( chicken tacos, spinach and artichoke dip and wings) mind you one of the dips was burnt. Before we could complete our meals a different hostess came to our table wit a busboy and security stating our table is sold for bottle service then attempted to start clearing our table. We didn't take that well. And she actually came to the wrong table. After all the trouble for the beginning until that moment we were over it. I will NOT be returning to Barcode
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
My friends and I went to barcode for their "champagne brunch & day party". There is a garage directly across from the location that charges $10 after 2/4pm depending on the event, it's typically on the flyer. The event was super fun, great music, great vibes/ambiance, great food, and great people! The brunch is buffet style with breakfast food (eggs, bacon, waffles, French toast) and lunch food (wings, jambalaya, shrimp, mac&cheese). The waffles were soggy and the breakfast food was kind of lacking. The jambalaya, wings, Mac and shrimp was bomb!! There's an outdoor patio that you can sit at but the food is indoors, i think you can take your food outdoors too. We purchased our tickets on eventbrite for about $42 each; we arrived to the brunch around 3pm-ish, each couple got a bottle of champagne and they had some type of guava/strawberry and mango drink to mix in glasses for mimosas. They also had hookah available at 5pm for about $45. The hookah was smooth. The day party was fun and fairly packed. Most of the people there were maybe in their early thirties, mainly females. The music was mainly hip hop, some old school hip hop songs. Overall we had fun. 3.5 stars because the breakfast food was lacking and because they said there would be parking available across the street for $10 but the parking attendant told us it was closed for the day because it was "under construction", we parked elsewhere and by the time we walked to barcode (less than 10min) the parking attendant was letting people park there. Mind you this parking garage was listed directly on the flyer, so it was irritating having to look for parking and pay more ($20 extra dollars). Also we waited in a short line outside for about 20min and when we walked in, the restaurant was barely half full. $65 including parking and brunch was a little expensive. P.S. make sure to tell the dj if one of your friends is celebrating a bday, i liked that they gave the people celebrating birthdays a free shot and a shout out.

Yelp
Small yet intimate spot! Attended a Black Health Connect event today and met alot of talented and career driven people! Bartenders are friendly. Great music!

Yelp
Went to catch a late lunch / early happy hour at Bar Code in downtown DC. The spot is nicely decorated with a cool vibe. For lunch, we had the spinach and artichoke dip with the homemade flatbread to start. Next, we had the Santa Fe Grilled Chicken sandwich and the Fettucini Alfredo with Salmon. We had the Riesling as well. The dip was slightly burned but mostly great with the flatbread. The flatbread was nice and crispy, and held up very well with the chunkiness of the dip. It was flavorful and had just enough garlic. The pasta was cooked well and the salmon was flavorful. Our waiter, an older, flirtatious gentleman, was on his A-game against the younger staff members. He certainly had the confidence of someone who knew the restaurant, the menu and service overall. Seems like he has been in the industry for awhile. He is a welcomed addition to the place, as his personality keeps diners engaged. As good as the food and our waiter was, it's hard not to bring up two weak points about the experience. The wine tasted corked and there is a serious problem with gnats in this place. I mean, it seriously compromises your entire dining experience. We might have overlooked the wine because the waiter was so pleasant, but to have to fight to keep things from flying into your food? Definitely a deal breaker.

Yelp
A solid 4. I like Barcode. Been here a few times over the last 10 years or so and never got around to writing a review...so here goes. Love the vibe. Love the food. Love the location. Tolerate the parking. Haven't checked out the bathrooms yet but I will next time - and take pics for you find folks. *winks* The food was phenomenal, particularly as far as "appetizer food" is usually concerned. That mini slider is as good or better than the regular sized burger in most places. Juicy, well-seasoned and THICK for its size and SUBSTANTIAL. A "mini" is almost a misnomer. It's either on brioche or potato bread. I don't know which but it's a runaway winner in my book. The grilled calamari, although cold....was seasoned and charred to perfection. Lots of small juicy tentacles served too. TERRIFIC! The pizza....shrimp....good....good. The chicken wings were the only disappointment. Other Yelp reviews raved about them so I had high expectations - which weren't met - because the ones served tonight were super bland. Maybe I caught them on an off night or something, who knows. *shrugs* In any case, Barcode is still a great place to host an event/network, meet friends for drinks, dine-out, or just chill after work. Great music (house DJ). Pretty people. Good drinks. What's not to love?
google avatar

Trina G.

Yelp
I usually stop pass barcode for lunch at least once a week. I usually get a salad and wine. Sometimes I'll even get a pizza and wine. On this occasion I wanted to try something different and I wish I didn't.... I got the fish tacos and they were the worse fish taco that I ever got from anywhere. I can't believe barcode would present this to customers. My fish was cold, dry, tough, and burnt at the same time. The salsa for the tacos was all onions chopped up, nothing but onions. My guacamole was brown And the sauce served with the tacos was bland. I was on a lunch date so I did not want to complain or make a seen for my guests. But this outing disappointed me big time. This menu needs a revamping.

Yelp
I came to barcode for the first time yesterday evening to watch the fight. When we first walked in the door, a waitress looked at us like she was trying to seat us, to end up saying that we can't sit down if we don't have a reservation. alright then lol so i ask her if we could still order food, she said no. Which we could have, but just at the bar, which she could've just said because we almost left! Went to the bar, was super packed of course as they were showing the fight but thankfully we ended up having standing room to eat at the bar but that quickly became annoying as people were reaching over us to buy drinks/food, etc. The venue itself is spacious and nice but for a event like showing the fight, they should've planned a little better. The pizza was really good! And so were the fries. So I'll definitely give the food a 10/10. If i ever go back I'll try the pasta next.

Tangela M.

Yelp
Don't ever come to this raciest non following the law establishment. First of all the boy selling hookah was sitting in the back my friend had to walk across the restaurant to beg for his to bring us a hookah, 2 The waiter asked me to pay even before he brought my order out wtf 3 my son brought his emotional support dog in and the really asked him did he have papers. The law people have no clue about the law this place needs to be shut down I will never walk in again. I will be calling my lawyer in the morning

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and as recommended, we made sure to make a reservation as the place can get pretty busy. The menu was pricey but we had a Groupon so we were still able to get a good amount of items. The food was really delicious! I especially liked the spinach artichoke dip since it came with flatbread to dip instead of the usual chips or bread. DJ Quicksilver was also there that night playing some music so it was super loud. We went for an anniversary dinner but we couldn't really have a conversation over how loud it was inside. Maybe we'll opt for an outside table next time? Overall the food was great and I'd come back for that.

Yelp
I've been to BarCode several times this year for Cinco de mayo, various networking events, and birthday brunches. Most of the time, I take advantage of street parking, but valet and $10 garage parking (across the street) are available too. My friends and I enjoy the patio when its warmer outside. Hookah is available too. It's always a good time when DJ Biggs and other premiere deejays are providing the music. During the networking events, I sampled the classic cheese, Margherita, and Bianca pizzas. The crust was fresh and toppings flavorful. I think BarCode's Sunday party brunch is one of the best deals around. We paid $40 cash at the door which covered the AYCE buffet plus bottomless mimosas/bellinis. Be advised, I didn't see anyone using credit cards. I realized I was overdressed once I got inside, but hey, you live and learn. Leave your formal frocks and pearls at home. Everyone was either super casual or dressed for a party. BarCode offered a nice array of classic brunch staples and some seafood dishes. Additionally, the staff did a good job ensuring the food was hot, presentable and trays were replenished as needed. We ended up recording the omelet guy because he was having the time of his life. I need to get more excited about coming to work! The drink lines at both bars were crazy though. People would leave to get something other than mimosas and bellinis and return like 45 min later. You may want to purchase 2 while you're there. As far as I can see, Millennials like it here and allow a handful of Gen Xers to join the party. Check them out if you're in the mood for a festive brunch featuring hip hop/trap, and dancing. We had fun and the birthday tributes were a riot.

Yelp
First time here, attended a friend's birthday brunch and; Food Drinks Music Vibe Barcode can take all my money but I would have liked a more steady flow of my bottomless mimosa/Bellini - had to search for the server too many times.

Yelp
First time in DC i got to experience Barcode's brunch for the first time. $60 for bottomless mimosas and buffet. Customer Service was A1. Food was amazing. Clean establishment. Overall this establishment knows how to run a business. They knew the importance of time management and customer service. Being an Atlanta native i rarely get treated with customer service that actually cares about their business and customers. It was a refreshing experience.

Yelp
So I went for Brunch and when you first enter there is a cover for entry,10$/per person. At first glance there's hardly anyone there so a cover didn't make sense. Our waiter was very nice an personable. We ordered our food and was told there is a waffle and pasta bar. Both were amazing. Food came and also was very good. To say the least the food was great but the pricing was very expensive. For two people we spent 150$. I think the pricing needs to be evaluated. Otherwise had a great time!

Yelp
First time coming to this place. First thing I noticed was the nice, warm ambience. Sat at the bar and was served quickly, bartender was very friendly. I had the fettuccini Alfredo with blackened salmon. Y'all let me tell u... The salmon was so bomb omg, y'all just don't know how good it felt to have a nice meal and not be disappointed with anything at all! It was cooked perfectly and paired very well with the noodles and sauce. And it was the perfect amount of alfredo sauce for the whole dish. I was pleasantly surprised. And it was a good portion, I mean I did eat it all cause I definitely didn't want it to go to waste The bar area got packed really quick, as people started getting off work. I got there at 4pm so it wasn't too crowded at that time. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area. And u already know what I'm gonna have to eat

Yelp
We came here for a quick drink while we waited for our dinner reservation. I got a whiskey sour. It was definitely above average and had a kick! It was a Wednesday night and it was pretty packed so much so that we couldn't get indoor seating. It was pretty cold! We sat in the front patio area. It didn't have any umbrellas or any kind of shelter. It was super cold! The music was quiet but overall the front seating was great for conversation. Thank you I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Yelp
This is one of the best Sunday brunch spots I've been to besides Ozio. My friends surprised me with a bachelorette party and we had an amazing time! Not only was the DJ lit but the food was actually really good and I didn't have to wait to eat. Food was constantly replenished. For $40 you can do the brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas or Bellinis. We had an so much fun here, left super full, and I know I'll be back for a birthday party or something. Check them out!
