"Crushing a beer in a park that sits above the busy SoMa streets is a worthwhile experience — and one that’s easy to find thanks to Barebottle Brewing’s taproom at Salesforce Park. Enter at 425 Mission Street at Fremont Street then meander your way down the park’s paths until you find the shipping container-turned-beer garden. There’s Joyride Pizza available to pair with your drink." - Lauren Saria, Eater Staff

Google
We sampled a flight of their IPA and sour brews, and I must admit, the Cara Cara Bang Bang stole the show. This delightful concoction, featuring the incredibly sweet Cara Cara orange, coconut, and milk sugar, is a true delight for any sour lover. The inclusion of Joyride Pizza available to order is a significant bonus, enhancing the experience of enjoying their exceptional brews. The seating area is thoughtfully arranged, providing a comfortable and inviting space to kick back and relax. Additionally, they offer board games and books for patrons to enjoy, adding an extra layer of fun to the atmosphere

Google
Brought the kids to Salesforce Park for the first time. Of course they wanted to eat once we smelled the food. GREAT CHOICE Kids! The Cheese was great! Can't wait to come back and try the other combinations!

Nice beer on tap and good pizza as well (unexpected). The park is gorgeous but it was cold and windy’

Google
Great beer/wine and so easy to work with for planning a private event! We recently held our “night before the wedding” welcome drinks here on a Friday evening, and Daniel and his team were so great, we had an awesome time!! Such a beautiful location too.

I am always a Barebottle (1525 Cortland Ave) fan. Can't believe they pick this awesome location inside Salesforce Park. So even I just came out to have city walk, I still can't help but order myself a Oranges in the Outfield. The beers in Barebottle always has awesome name and very detailed explanation so my Hazy IPA --Springtime, a crack of the bat, hazy juicy goodness knocks it out of the park. A hazy IPA blended with sweet oranges & zest. ( So clear & so poetic). Even drinking inside the park by myself is fun, great view, great music, and people inside the park co-create a good vibe. Love it !

Google
Great beer from a great brewery in a unique location above the streets and between the skyscrapers.

This is the best slice of sunshine in FiDi. Local, rotating craft beer with the most consistent and friendly service. Come on a sunny day and soak in the rays. Daniel and their entire staff always make you feel like you're right where you're supposed to be. Thank you all!

Google

Yelp
Literally the most delicious vegetarian pizza I've ever had! Also a bit expensive for a somewhat personal size Detroit style pizza going at $24. But baby let me tell you it's worth it. I met up with some friends after work for a happy hour meet up located on the fourth floor of the salesforce tower. This beer garden was a spacious outdoor space packed with a lively crowd watching some dance performances and enjoying pizza and beer. I order the Greek pizza and one glass of Chardonnay and including tax and a 20% tip I spent $42. Kinda steep but that pizza has me intrigued that I will be back to try more. The tater tots were also yummy and stayed crispy pretty long and were seasoned well. This place is perfect for a warm Fall day in the Bay!

Yelp
I bought a 10% alcohol lactose beer. It was a quarter foam. I waited for foam to go down. That never happened so I asked to remove foam and fill. All I got was attitude and it's "10%". It was $10 plus tip. Just want what is advertised and I most definitely paid for. p.s. The atmosphere is awesome but finding employees who don't feel the job is beneath them seems to be tough. Yelp
We absolutely love Barebottle. It is our favorite beer and was the official beer of our wedding (lol). Yeah, I can't really afford it every week now (with the prices of everything going up and BB beer at 5-6 bucks can in the stores) but we do love going to the breweries - the one over by Army is great. We like this one but the no dogs thing sucks. But Barebottle beer is the absolute best beer you're going to find in Northern Cal, and maybe the whole state. Incidentally, if you can get Unicorn Dust, jump on it.

Yelp
I met up with some coworkers for a casual, post-work drink at Barebottle Brewing's kiosk in Salesforce Park. It is a grab-and-go situation, with some seating available in the park. Barebottle offers a great selection of beer and wines on tap, as well as non-alcoholic options. The kiosk also serves Venga Empanadas (also available on the ground floor of the transit center), which are some of my favorite empanadas in the city. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the prices were comparable with other breweries in the area. I ordered the Hetch Hetchy Yosemite-Style Pilsner, which was crisp, refreshing, and balanced. Enjoying our beer in Salesforce Park enhanced the experience - we were fortunate to have nice weather and lovely views of the greenery. My coworkers and I enjoyed our visit so much that we started planning our next meet-up in the park.

Yelp
Adoooooooooore this place. As I walk up to the park and enter this paradise something reminded me of "Highline" in NYC, but since it's in SF it's better cause you know West Coast is the best coast (Wesssyde). Met a friend here and it was everything I imagined, an oasis in the concrete jungle. Staff: Awesome! Super inviting and attentive. Thanks for your help Bre! Selection: Being a fan of West Coast IPA's I went for Galaxy Dust. Not as big as Space Dust but definitely juicy. Shoreline was a great selection as well and really impressed on how smooth it was Pro Tip: bring a jacket and a beanie because the wind tunnels in SF are no joke. Would I come here again? Uh yes! Cheers!

Yelp
Now that we've had an extended break from the atmospheric rivers, this heavy mellow spot seems ideally situated and provides a good reminder why this rooftop park was more than a global botanical walk but also a congregation point to chill and catch up. That's what Jamie W. and I noticed when we found ourselves a bit parched on a downtown stroll. There's finally a good reason to sit on the rainbow chairs that otherwise looked like unfinished pop art since few took advantage of them before the beer garden opened. They operate from what looks to be a converted freight container, and there were quite a few cold craft beers to choose from on individual placards. So many choices, so little time. We settled on a couple of $7 Underground Gems Coffee Amber Ales which offered a nice richness to quench our thirst (photo: https://bit.ly/3mUDrRN). For sustenance, they offered five different $7 Empanadas, which was tempting, but it just seemed more right to share a $6 Freshly Baked Pretzel even if they didn't offer any mustard (photo: https://bit.ly/3H2mtIg). No problem, we be chillin'. BEER / PRETZEL - 4 stars...smooth brew, chewy pretzel logic AMBIANCE - 5 stars...perfect on a sunny day SERVICE - 4 stars...pulled the taps and heated the pretzel TOTAL - 4 stars...now I get why this rooftop park exists RELATED - Exploring this part of SoMa? Yelp
This place is THE BEST: we had a corporate event here last week for 110 people and it was a roaring success thanks to the delicious Barebottle beers and Joyride Pizza lunch - but MOSTLY because of Daniel, Natalie and Danny who staffed our party. Daniel made everythjng so simple and easy, offering actual(!) live in person assistance every time I needed it, both before the party and during the event. Natalie and Daniel were so gracious in serving our folks, and Danny with Joyride was super helpful; and the pizzas were delicious - I ordered more than enough to start but the food was so good I had to order ten more pizzas! It's so refreshing to receive accommodating, gracious and friendly service nowadays. Thanks so much for making me look good! I can't recommend this spot more if you're two people or 150!

Yelp
Looking for somewhere new to go for an afternoon beer, I stumbled upon Barebottle, which I then realized is located inside Salesforce Park. Such a cute and and calm spot. Friendly service. Order from the shipping container turned bar and find a seat within the bounds of the brewery. I had something spicy which delivered heat. Still refreshing as my partner and I sat and people watched before walking the park loop. Love that this is a convenient beverage option! Would come back every time I visit the park to check out the other brews.

Yelp
I can't believe how lucky we got to have Barebottle be our local beer garden in the park. One time they only had 5 beers to choose from, but mostly they have 10-12, so there's always something smooth and delicious. I guess I should get specific. Royale Flush Hazy IPA is a very reliable choice. You can't go wrong. Though I won't drink the sours myself, others say they stack up alongside some of the best in the Bay Area. But I don't know that's just what they say. I love this place...

Yelp
Beer presentation was great. Super cute coaster type delivery. Really liked it, but I didn't think that the beer tasted too great. This place takes advantage of the great weather outside and is protected from the wind because of all the tall buildings! The service was super quick but I thought the pours were a little stingy (low)! Not a bad happy hour at all.

Yelp
Oh hell YES, I am here for barebottle beer garden. Who in their right mind wouldn't want a refreshing drink while enjoying alllll the vibes. I LOVE grabbing a wine while I enjoy my lunch (lots of options on the ground floor). This is a perfect place for: - working outside and enjoying a coffee - having a lunch break with a coworker and enjoying a beer (it's 5 o clock somewhere) - letting your toddler run around while you enjoy your "adult juice" This place hits all the right spots, I freaking love this hidden gem!

Yelp
It's great to wander around Transbay park and get some fresh air after completing task after task. During my lunch break, I definitely wanted to have a special drink; this time, it must be non-alcoholic with botanical ingredients. Barebottle was the only kiosk that not only served specialty alcoholic drinks, but also empanadas, which aligned to its nearest right. Looking at the only kiosk in the Transbay park was like seeing one huge cargo box surrounded by the seating area. The female bartender was nice enough to have my used recycled glass cup and pour Koga Cola on tap. Empanadas are fine, but I rather bring a specialty drink back to my work place as I continue to support small businesses every time I feel like it. Might be back for another early afternoon to try another different non-alcoholic spritzer if it's available.

Yelp
I've been to Barebottle's bigger location in Bernal Heights, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a small beer garden centrally located on top of Salesforce Park! Seating is plentiful, so this is a great place to grab a drink and chat with friends or coworkers after work. We came here around 4pm on a Thursday and tables started to fill up gradually within the next hour. I like sours, so I tried their Plenty o' Plums and I thought it was really good! I would order this again for sure. Although I'm a fan of sour beers, I do draw a line when it becomes TOO sour; and Plenty o' Plums was a perfect balance. It was a nice combination of sweet, tart, and only slightly sour. This is a wonderful addition to the park and I'm glad it's here! If I could recommend something; however, I think it'd be nice if there were some sort of outdoor heating. SF is naturally on the chilly side (and this winter has been one of the coldest ones yet), so this would definitely help!

Yelp
Good place to have a beer. Very relaxing & chill vibes. They always something different on their menu every week so that's fun. Service is quick & yes they card.

Yelp
The beer garden is located on the rooftop area of the middle of SalesForce Park. A little oasis filled with forests and hidden away in urban SF. You have to take an elevator from the ground floor up to SalesForce park. They had a wide selection of locally crafted beers on tap. There are options for individual glasses, 5 ounce samplers, and flight samples. You get the beer from a " shed" located in the center of the park. There was one server in charged of the shed, but she was prompt and quick with pouring and serving the beers. There are plenty of public chairs and tables for you to use, or you could sit on the grass patches spread out around the park. Overall, highly recommend coming here for a beer and hangout with friends!

Yelp
We actually really enjoyed seeing Barebottle at the park. First of all the Salesforce park itself is so different so if that doesn't work for you then of course neither will this. But we live in a concrete jungle and quite honestly we welcomed seeing this above ground level park and beer offerings to boot. There was plenty of seating, plenty of beer/wine/snack options and friendly service. I'm happy for this addition. I'll see you again soon.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times since they opened about a month ago. It is such a good idea!! I imagined it'd be a tiny cart when I heard there's a beer place opening up on Salesforce Park, but it's actually a fairly permanent / substantial place. It feels like a proper beer garden! There is a variety of different craft beers that rotates frequently! Every time I've been there, it has had new beers and rotating taps! You can ask to sample the beer before ordering and they have 2 different sizes you can order! There's plenty of small tables / seating in the sectioned off plaza and a worker told me eventually we'll be able to go anywhere in the park with the beer (aka walk around the track and sit in the grassy areas). It feels like it might make sense for them to get some long benches/tables so that it can accommodate large groups easily. Especially considering there is a lot of companies nearby, this would be a great place to come for work/team happy hour if they had them. Currently, you can try to piece small tables together if they're available. Since it's currently winter and SF tends to be fairly cold and windy, it does get fairly cold up there. There's no heat lamps or blankets or anything right now, so definitely bundle up if you're planning to go. I feel like it might make sense for them to invest in heat lamps to attract more business.

Yelp
Located at the park level next to Salesforce tower. It a nice trend container beer garden. Note no alcohol beyond the fenced area (no walking and drinking around the park). Pretty awesome place to visit after conferences, meeting. See the photo for the menu. Multiple beers on tap, non alcoholic, wine and bubbly, even liquid death (water) is available

Grace K.

Yelp
The beer was cold, service was great... the girls were friendly, we had pretzels which was mid, but overall good experience and would recommend.

Tien N.

Yelp
Great vibe for outdoor. Perfect location for happy hours on a summer day! It might be hard to find a spot for big group if you don't go early. Most people ended up standing and chatting with one another. Good place for cấu corporate hangout. There were many beers and non-alcoholic options. The line went by fast. Would probably try to come back again~

Brett Y.

Yelp
Pretty good beer. No soul at this location. You also need heat lamps for an outdoor only venue in SF. The whole thing just feels weird.

Zev L.

Yelp
The people that work here are SO nice. I needed to get my empanadas to go. They didn't have to-go containers but they folded up paper plates and used some tape and voila, empanadas in my messenger bag, no fuss, no muss.

Kyle T.

Yelp
I fell in love with the Salesforce Rooftop Garden the first time I wandered into it. MIT feels as if you're in the sky, wandering through amazing gardens. The street noise, stressors of the day all seem to disappear. I catch my AC Transit bus in the transit center on the third floor. If I'm early, my reward is to take a lap through the garden or simply find a place to sit and savor the moment. I've often said that if a bar was opened on that level, I'd never leave. In mid-December of 2022, my wish was granted. Bare Bottle Brewery opened a small bar. I'd never tried it, but the offerings looked interesting. I like stouts and porters and they have quite a selection. There's also an interesting barley wine offering. It can get busy around 4pm when the Salesforce crowd finishes their workday. Otherwise, it's pretty serene. The staff is the best. They love what they're doing and are personable. I always enjoy a brief chat as they pour the stout of the day or the strong barley wine. Once or twice a week, I find this a great way to decompress after a very long workday. Thanks, Barebottle, for improving my commute.

Yelp
Had an unpleasant experience with a cashier here a couple months ago. They sold us a food item they didn't have, had us wait 20 minutes, and said they didn't have the item when I went up to check in. I politely asked for a refund and the cashier got verbally hostile saying i should've known it was out of stock (--like what?!?). When I got the refund on my statement a few days later, she didn't refund the tip so I had to call the bank to recover the entire bill. Just a really odd, negative experience that left a poor impression. Such a shame, I had decent expectations of this place beforehand.

Ian V.

Yelp
Spent afternoon here with a friend and was amazing. Full sun, green surroundings, obviously excellent beer, city views, Kid friendly, centrally located. Was nice to enjoy the outdoors after weeks of rain. Even on a chillier, windy day the sun was pretty warm so a perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and grab a beer. Will definitely be back!

Steve D.

Yelp
Finally, a place to have great beer and hot bites where there is room for your kids to roam. This is what parents need in the city. You can't get these views and isolation from cars anywhere else in SF simply because there is no room. If you have never been to the $2 billion public Sales Force transit center urban park, claim your tax dollars and come. And grab a beer at Barebottle!

The Chubby Asian ..

Yelp
Hidden gem on top of Salesforce park! I was here with a buddy after work last Friday and it was a perfect happy hour out in the sun. The beer selection was great and the staff was very friendly. I'll need to come back with the kids as there was plenty of space for them to run around.
