Three of the Best Tennis Players Ever Love Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - Eater Chicago

"The Chicago location of New York-based Bareburger has been closed for a while and there’s no official word when it’ll reopen. After rumors spread that the restaurant at 3357 N. Lincoln Avenue might be closed for good, a rep writes that 'We had some trouble with the plumbing in our kitchen this past January and although we fixed it, the issue was only relieved temporarily. After having a few too many leaks in the beginning week of March, the landlord and Bareburger Chi ownership decided to properly fix this problem since it affects the vacant building next door as well! Will keep you looped in! We’ll be back!' Stay tuned." - Daniel Gerzina

Went here for National Burger day. They offered free burgers to the first 100 customers. I had their standard Burger and I was shocked at how small it was. Although it was a good burger, it was not great. We also ordered the sweet potato fries and shared them between 3 people. The decor is more of a laid back country style, almost as if you were eating in side someone's Barn. Really love the tables and the chairs in this place. Made by unique custom Furniture Limited in Fredericktown Ohio. Very eclectic. They have many other things on their menu including beer and Cocktails and an alcoholic milkshake. As far as food goes they have salads, sandwiches, mini burgers, burgers and shakes. Try the fried Pickles, they are delicious. You can also make a custom burger here. Lots of vegan choices here. A little bit on the pricey side as everything is extra, but a tasteful meal all same.

Best burger in Chicago! Great local sustainable meat, even bison, elk, lamb, duck, and multiple awesome homemade veggie burger options! Diverse menu, great beers, kind service, amazing decor. And outstandingly delicious! I'm definitely a new regular at this treasure! (Especially given how few sustainable burger places there are here.) They even make their own pickles! (I could go on...)

Walking to Guitar Center, see this place, is this relatively new? I don't recall it, but having a burger right now sure sounds good. I ordered the build your burger. I got the bison with bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onions, stone ground mustard and ketchup. They have some good beers on tap, I ordered the Revolution Wit, 20 ounces, the sizes vary from 12, 20 to 32 ounces. Also ordered the chicken fingers for an appetizer. The waiter said he was going to bring them out first before the burger, which was true, but only 1 minute before the burger, which was fine, since I did not order any fries or anything like that. The chicken crust was a touch overdone. The was moist and tender, but the breading has some scorched spots. The burger was very good, cooked to medium just like I ordered it. The bacon was crispy, not half done, I hate that on my burger. The service was good, we wanted for nothing. I will definitely go back for a good burger here

The food here is delicious! Our party of 4 each tried different burgers- including beef, elk, and bison, and each was wonderful! The onion rings and fries were great, although the sweet potato fries were just OK. I would've given 5 stars, but the service was extremely slow. It took us 30 minutes to get our food, and there were only 2 other tables seated in the restaurant. I can't imagine how long you'd have to wait if they were actually busy.

Loved the atmosphere, service, and food. The beers on tap are not the typical brews, which is usually a good thing, but these were heavily flavored. I went with a pilsner and it was fine. I ordered the entree-portioned farmer's basket salad with a grilled chicken add-on and it was delicious! The chicken was flavorful and the greens were fresh! I got a taste of the Mexican Chocolate shake and the taste was so authentic. My dining companions all liked their burgers -- the standard, matador, and lamb burger. The buffalo buttermilk chicken sandwich, however, was just okay. The fried pickles got mixed reviews.

Came here with a friend on National Burger day for their free burgers for the 1st 100 people promotion. It was their standard burger or their vegan burger for free, ~$10 value each! My friend and I ordered the onion rings and sweet (potato) fries ($9.95) to share as well. If it weren't for the promotion, I would have given 2 stars. My burger had a soggy bottom bread that wasn't appetizing at all, had to get rid of that bottom bread. The rest of the burger was just okay, nothing to write about. My friend's vegan burger looked liked you could finish it off in just 4 bites. The onion rings and fries were pretty good, though for the price of $9.95 - I wouldn't have ordered these if I were paying for the burgers as well. That is pretty dang steep. I really wanted to support a local business with local products but the taste and price point has to be worth it for me, not just to support the cause. Maybe I'll be returning next year if they have the same promotion, otherwise, this would not be my go to burger place.

Went during the soft opening. Service was very friendly and quick. Burger options are significant with many choices for proteins (animal & plant), cheeses, toppings. Burgers were smaller than I anticipated but I think that's a good thing. My son (age 6) ordered a wild boar burger and it was a little big for him but not too crazy. I think they were about 6 oz. These are not the massive things you find other places that you regret eating later. Great selection of mostly local beers on tap you can order in different sizes. We shared the amazing s'mmmmmores dessert. A really great meal that not only has the advantages of being organic and more sustainable, but also come in more reasonable portion sizes.

This burger restaurant opened recently in our neighborhood and we decided to give it a try on a Friday evening. We liked the vibe, cool decor and thought the food was pretty good. We went for the build-your-own burgers and weren't disappointed. The portion size may be a bit smaller than with other restaurants but that's actually a good thing! We'll go back.
