Why This Queens Neighborhood Has Become a Restaurant Incubator | Eater NY

"I learned Bareburger opened its first location in Astoria in 2009 and now operates 33 locations across the Northeast and Ohio, and co-founder Euripides Pelekanos—who grew up in Astoria—said they chose the neighborhood because of familiarity, relative affordability, and a market that embraced upscale burgers with non-standard meats even during the financial crisis." - Jaya Saxena

Food was okay but priced too high in my opinion. Price just includes burger so fries are extra. Service was good. Light had spiderwebs on it personally don’t enjoy seeing that dangling above my food. Plenty of vegetarian options which I like to see though so that’s nice.

This is what you get from Bareburger when you say “light cheese.” They just don’t listen. I’ve given them five chances because when they did get it right that one time, it was actually really delicious, so I kept trying, hoping for that same result again. But every other time, they completely miss the mark. I even had to send my food back once to get it redone, and it still wasn’t right. At this point, it’s clear there’s a communication issue between the staff and the kitchen. I watched the lady type in my preferences, but it seems like it ends up as a tiny note at the bottom of the cook’s ticket that gets ignored. They really need to figure out a better system for handling customer preferences because people shouldn’t have to keep wasting money and patience just to get their food made the way they asked.

Wow I really enjoyed Bareburger on N. High St. Jordan was our bartender/server and he was very attentive, made me an awesome jalapeño mojito, and just provided great service. I’m not sure why the rating is only 4.2 because my food was fresh, clean, and good! My hubby and I are GF. My hubby is also DF. Our food was prepared safe and we had several options. I ordered the sweet potato burger and pickle chips. GF pickle chips!!! My hubby ordered a beef burger and wings. I don’t eat beef personally but the burger looked like it. Oils be on a magazine cover and hubby said it was fantastic! Jordan you get to keep your mojito PR card! Thank you for providing us awesome service, drinks, suggestions, and food!

Update: Been sick for two days! 6 hours after eating here I puked my guts out. Had to call off work, killing my perfect attendance bonus. After day one, I've able to hold down solid foods and only have the runs. Chocolate Milkshake was great. Brussel sprouts were very good. My wife liked her BLT except there was too much bread. Her onion rings were good. My daughter got a fried chicken sandwich that was the best thing any of us ordered. Her fries were gross! They were like they'd been double fried and hard. As for my burger, it was horrible. I ordered the double Americana. No flavor except for an aftertaste of freezer burnt hamburger patties. Like those large packages of prepressed patties you get from Sam's or Costco. But you bought them 2 summers ago for a July 4th cookout you were having and these were leftover, in the bottom of the freezer.

Went here with wifey. Loved the ambience. Service was great. Food was delicious. Healthy vegetarian options. And it was speedy service. Very attentive, make sure that you order what you want and ask about the accommodations. Because I had my veggie burger cooked on a separate grill. Away from the meat grill. Shout out to our server Jonah. If you go there and ask for him. Tell him I sent you!!!😉👍🏿🫡 P.s.- sorry I posted the guacamole picture half eaten, or should I say wholly eaten.lol. it was good!!!

I can't have gluten or dairy anymore and it was a big change, haven't eaten much because I'm picky and have lost so much weight. I decided to try this place and it was phenomenal! I didn't even know this kind of food could taste this good!! I was actually able to feel satisfied after eating which doesn't happen anymore. I cried, I literally cried in the middle of eating! Thanks for the delicious food and for caring about people who have to deal with this!!

April 2025: Food consistency is much different than a year ago (have been in many times over the past year) We order the same thing every time we go. This time our server argued that my husband ordered the wrong thing when she brought his plate back after snatching it off the table. He didn’t order the wrong thing and was clear when she actually looked at what she put in when she brought me the check. Kitchen got it wrong which isn’t a fault of hers or his and should be handled on a much different manor. Will be the last time for a long time we go here. Original review January 2024 (pics from this visit) The food is delicious!! The last time my fries were a bit over done (sweet potato) but still pretty good. The burger consistency is always there. I get the black bean burger as is-delicious!! Espresso martini is on point! Also the mules are good. There is something for everyone. Vegans, lactose intolerant etc. everything can be customized and they are very willing to do so. Tried the Brussels spouts no cheese, highly recommend! I will say it’s a place to go and enjoy the experience, casual pace, very cute.

Google
I had a great server. She helped me pick the items on the menu since it was my first time. I ended up doing a burger wrapped with spinach and a side salad. Amazing flavor. Will certainly be back.

Yelp
Food looked and tasted exactly as expected! Smash burger was delicious and cheesesteak exceeded expectations!

Yelp
Jacob K greeted me at the door when I wandered in for dinner. The decor is super cute and menu has many delicious options Jacob K suggested an AMAZING YUMMY Burger (Truffle Bison) and made such pleasant conversation during my short wait for the To-Go order. I'm here on business and wish we had Bareburger on the WestCoast!

Yelp
DON'T GO HERE I placed a carryout order on their website. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I saw a sign that takeout orders needed to be picked up at a back counter. I walked through the restaurant towards the supposed pick-up area. The back counter is clearly doubling as a break room for staff, personal belongings strewn about, with a clear view of the dishwashing. Not very appealing or appetizing. I asked a staff member at the counter about picking-up a takeout order. She explained that someone would be with me in a "minute." I was clearly interrupting the tasks she was working on, and she was not impressed. I stood aside, waiting for a different employee to help me. Instead, employee - after employee walked by, ignoring me. Everyone working there seemed to be doing something other than helping a customer. After 15 minutes, a staff member finally asked me if I was waiting for a takeout order. I said yes, and told her my name. However, she clearly didn't check on my order - carrying on with whatever other tasks she was working on. After another 15 minutes, I was getting frustrated. I mean, 30 minutes to get any assistance? I went to the host stand hoping that someone would finally at least properly greet me, and maybe help me pick-up the order. Still, despite standing right at the host stand, no one bothered to stop and help me. I finally interrupted a nearby bartender mentioning that I had placed a takeout order, wasn't being helped, and at this point would prefer a refund. She gave me a forced, annoyed apology, further treating me as though I was a nuisance. She said a manager named Katrina would help me. Katrina, apparently the manager, I'm not sure because she didn't introduce herself, approached me at the host stand. She tried to give me the takeout order, but I refused. I explained I had been ignored for the last 30 minutes by dismissive staff who were too busy to assist customers, treating me as though I was an inconvenience. Katrina said she would process a refund at some point within 24 hours, unable to provide me with a receipt of the refund. This restaurant needs to start treating their carryout customers better. It's unacceptable to force customers to walk back into what is clearly being used as a staff break room, a messy one at that, and then treating them as though they are an annoyance - ignoring them for nearly 30 minutes. Don't go here. There are other restaurants in this neighborhood who would be happy to have your business.

Yelp
Food was good - excellent Brussels sprouts and cheesesteak. The bartender was so wonderful! They wouldn't seat us even with open tables, and put our name on a list. An hour late, still never called (list still showed usb"next" but seated many after us. Eventually sat at the bar and got food. But terrible customer service from hostess.

Yelp
My husband had been wanting to try this place because of their available vegan options. We finally made it in during one of our trips to town for a CBJ game. The service was prompt and friendly. They asked about our experience often and were ready if we needed something during our meal or before our food came to the table. The restaurant is absolutely a vibe. I really liked the decor, and the space itself. There was art to look at and interesting aspects of the building to talk about while we waited for our food. The burgers are smashburger style. I don't think we were prepared for that aspect of our meal. My burger was made from vegan meat and it surprised me that it was so thin. The flavor was very good and I enjoyed the burger. I just prefer a larger patty. My husband is the same, but he was eager to get his to the table and tackle it. We would go here again if we were in the mood for diner style smashburgers.

Yelp
I have been to the BareBurger in Clintonville before it became a Tee Jaye's Country Place in Clintonville, but the Short North location was the first BareBurger location in Columbus. I was very happy going to the BareBurger Short North. I had the Create my Own burger with double beef patties, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, honey mustard, and jalapeno BBQ sauce with a multigrain sesame seed bun. The Sweet Potato Fries was my side and the natural Diet Cola was delicious. My friend had the Veggie burger on a multigrain sesame seed bun with a salad. The service was great and he took great care of us especially on a cold day. I will have to have a milkshake when it gets warmer. The ambiance was a very bear themed because it is BareBurger. I will return to the BareBurger in the Short North again soon.

Yelp
I love when I enter a place and they make you feel enlightened. The gentleman who assisted me was very informative and dare I say passionate about the product. He broke it all the way down for me about the types of combinations I could do and what he would recommend. The food was fresh and flavorful, but priced a bit high for my taste. Still, if you have the privilege of dining here, make it count.

Yelp
Not a bad burger, but a little bit lacking on the toppings. They weren't evenly distributed or covering the entire burger. I had the Impossible Shrooming burger. The sauce was delicious, fries were great as well. Service was a little bit slow, but it was a pretty busy day. The decor was nice- good atmosphere with fun artwork.

Yelp
The restaurant is a good size with comfortable seating and good lighting. It does have a beautiful rustic look. Very nice. It was a very busy Friday night with a long line but space at the bar. We took the bar. The bartender was friendly and personable but she also had tables she was responsible for so it took a while before our orders were taken but I blame management for not having enough staff on schedule. It is GalaxyCon weekend! She was awesome anyway! The food was really good and the menu was amazing! Elk, wagyu, and vegan options. Wonderful experience!

Yelp
Plenty to choose from on the menu, has a great happy hour and can either choose bar / sit-down seating. My burger was cooked perfectly and went great with happy hour drinks

Yelp
Tiny, average burger for a giant burger price. Service was fine but would rather just have five guys.

Yelp
What a fantastic restaurant! Loved the menu, the food, the decor -- all top notch! Service was impeccable. Jordan said he was taking care of us and he did! I loved that he was able to speak knowledgeably about the menu, and he managed to be attentive without lurking. It's a difficult balance, but he made it look easy. My husband said that the Spicy Paul Bunyan made his top 3 burger list! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Bareburger was a favorite of mine during my time in Columbus. Perfect for a late-night snack after hitting the bars, Bareburger is often on the emptier side since most people opt for takeout, but is great if you're craving a greasy burger, fries, or nuggets. For my vegetarians out there, Bareburger is a great option! They have impossible nuggets and burgers and a host of alternatives for countless dietary restrictions.

Yelp
Nice place within walking distance to Hilton Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building is an older building, repurposed for new. The place is an eclectic space. The root beer is really good, the burger and fries were good. Decent place to get a burger.

Yelp
My brother-in-law went here and brought over a big bag with a variety of sandwiches. We grabbed a couple chicken sliders, and a couple of bacon cheeseburger sliders. Sweetie and Baby K had the chicken ones. Sweetie had one and liked it, K was noncommittal. She just ate the pickles. I ate the rest, and it was a pretty good chicken sandwich. A thick piece of well fried chicken. Good bun. The burgers were pretty darn good. I reheated them in the toaster oven, so the bun got a little crispier than it would've been, but it was very good. Thick, meaty burger, with good cheese and very good bacon. And what I assume is their special sauce, also pretty tasty. All in all a nice little meal. I think I've been to Bareburger in other towns, but I haven't made it to the one here yet, so I will keep it in mind when I'm in the area.

Yelp
A group of friends and I went to bareburger for a second time. The first time was when they were just about the only restaurant in town to have the impossible burger. I had the mushroom impossible and a side of fries. While the burger itself was really good. Slim and crispy , it's pretty small and pricey. 14.95 plus tax and tip.

Yelp
So this was my first time going to Bareburger and I must say the food was really good. The menu has a lot of decent options. My server was absolutely amazing her name was Neveah she was very polite and answered all of my questions. I'll be going back to Bareburger great customer service!

Dan W.

Yelp
Great burgers! Our server, Matt, was very attentive and helpful. Food was served a good speed.

Yelp
Waited at the hostess stand for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, staff was very rude. Burger was dry and overpriced.

Yelp
Tried this spot which was new to me while visiting Columbus, Ohio. We chose this location for the options for meat lovers and vegan foodies! We had the cauliflower appetizer was was so good! Then also had our burgers and shared a large fries. Their homemade lemonade was great! Our server Nevaeh was awesome! She was so sweet. And the place was really spacious and nice overall vibe! Will most definitely be back and plan to bring new people here too! I would definitely do a regular bun instead of lettuce but i was trying something new but did not take away from how juicy and flavorful the burger was!

Yelp
A short walked from our hotel and the convention center. Very convenient. Food were great. Service was very kind and professional. Price was freaking reasonable compared to back home in LA. The setting was very lively. Lights perfect on our table. Background music was a combination of rock, pop, hip hop and of course country. 5* no doubt!

Yelp
**After the meal below, the restaurant reached out, made right my experience, and took serious note of my feedback. Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone wants to continuously improve. Bareburger clearly does. I will give them another try when I'm next in the area. This place has really gone downhill. I used to enjoy Bareburger in my days at OSU, so when my daughter and I were passing through Columbus craving burgers, I thought this would be perfect. The restaurant is very fun, decorated with bears and various animals. That's where the compliments end. We ordered the sweet Wagu sliders after some encouragement from our server. I vocally expressed my fear the sliders would be overdone, but she convinced me they would be perfectly cooked. Disaster. The first set of burgers they brought with the wrong toppings were absolutely incinerated. They remade the burgers with the correct toppings, but they were still well done instead of the medium we ordered. Dry enough that my daughter described them as crumbly. The chocolate and peanut butter shake we had was good and not overly sweet, but tiny for $11. Nothing was done or offered to make right our experience. Next time, we'll satisfy our cravings elsewhere.

Yelp
This place never fails. Everything I've ever had on the menu has always been delicious. The Brussels sprouts are perfection. The service is great, they are attentive but allow you to enjoy your meal without interruption. They have great drinks. They are family friendly. You will have to park on the street or the garage if you are driving.

Yelp
Very very good. Came in for an early dinner. Promptly seated and waited on by a waiter who was a bit overzealous, but nicely competent. Had a west coast IPA that was made down the block. Very good. Started with the pickle chips. Unique breading and very good! Had the elkasaurus that was also good, but not great. Onion rings were great! Would like to come back again and try a few other things.

Holly H.

Yelp
Not the best place, but the worst. MID This is really 3.5 - 3.75 stars; let me tell you why. "My Sunshine" burger - 4/5 stars Sweet potato, kale and wild rice patty, a hefty serving of fresh avocado, organic baby kale, red organic tomato, thinly sliced red onion, green onion sauce, served on a brioche bun. Everything was fresh and had depth of flavor, it was lacking texture outside of the... Kale. (Say whaaaat? Yeah, I know.) It was very good though. i saved half for breakfast and it reminded me of avocado toast. Pickle chips - 3/5 stars I'm on the fence with this rating. They are quite good when HOT. As they cooled, they became kinda meh. They were served with ranch, which was definitely meh. Fries - 4/5 stars Plain ol' regular fries. Well-cooked, they were as tasty and well-seasoned as all french fries should be! The ketchup was definitely meh (a theme with the condiments? Maybe it's just me...) The fries didn't need to be dipped into anything, they were solid on their own. All of this was washed down with pure cane soda. Sodas with real sugar are always the best, and this one did not disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant is lively with plenty of comfortable seating. There is a bar up front, which is clean and approachable. (Some bars are kind ick, this is not that) The staff were friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
The restaurant has great décor and ambiance. Service was quick and food was great. I ordered the build your own burger with a side of French fries. I suffer from a gluten intolerance and this restaurant catered to those needs. I will absolutely be back to enjoy their burgers as soon as I can.
google avatar

Blake B.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place a try because it looked like a solid burger joint with meat substitute options which is always a plus. As a party of two we came as a walk-in and we're seated immediately (so far, so good). It took a bit for the server to get to us but we placed our drink orders while we continued to browse the menu. The blueberry mezcal drinks were a little on the sweeter/syrupy side but tolerable. It took an unusually long time for our food to get to us due to what likely looked like staffing issues and it was apparent by the temperature of our food it was probably sitting a bit before making our way out. The impossible burger was okay, I think the wait might have contributed to the reduced quality. I'd give it another shot if I'm in the area.

Michael C.

Yelp
Rarely do I ever write a review but had to after my time at Barebuurger. While it's not about the food it's about what matters most...the people. For anyone in the business of traveling for work it is so nice to stop into a place and meet such great people. To Emily, Stormy, Liv, and Salsa. Thank you so much for your hospitality. To anyone reading this stop into Bareburger and enjoy good food, drinks and amazing people

Yelp
This was the last place i had a meal at while on a business trip to Columbus. Myself, three other coworkers and my boss came to Bareburger just to eat and hang out one more time. Its just across the street from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, so it was convenient for us to come. We all went in and were immediately sat at a table. The place has comfortable seating and has a nice vibe to it. They sell T-shirts of their restaurants which had a cow on it and it proudly said, I love grass. We all thought that was amusing. There was only one other group of three people at the restaurant, which we thought was perfect. My boss, myself and one of my coworkers had a meeting we needed to call into that anyone in a leadership position in the department for the company I work for was expected to attend. That meeting was scheduled for about an hour and a half from when we sat down. We planned to eat and the get in our vehicles to drive home or in my bosses case drive to the airport and call while ok the road. That was the plan anyway. We all ordered drinks and food. I ordered some all natural soda... tasted the same as any soda in reality. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with cheese, bacon and hot honey. None of us ordered anything crazy.. just burgers and chicken sandwiches. Over an hour for us to get the food. Way too long! This is supposed to be lunch hour! This made me rush to eat as I had to make my way back to the hotel, get my bag from concierge, then walk to the parking garage and the car. So i had to eat in a real hurry. The chicken sandwich was ok at best, they obviously poured to little hot honey on my sandwich as I barely tasted it. Meal was disappointing at best.

Heather B.

Yelp
The food was really good and all the gluten free options were amazing. The service was good but extremely slow. We actually went first for dinner and waited at the hostess stand for approximately 15-20 without being spoken to so we left. Went back the next day for lunch and it was less busy.
google avatar

Allister M.

Yelp
If you want a fresh tasty burger and fries, Bareburger visit Bareburger in the Short North. I never understood the reason behind the name until AFTER I dug in for the first time. Bareburger is for the burger connoisseur who enjoys freshly well prepared burgers without the sloppiness. The word tasty is too weak to define what the burger did for my tastebuds. Simply put, I finally found a burger spot that can satisfy my occasional burger cravings.
google avatar

Belinda H.

Yelp
Great location across from the convention center. Nice interior with large booths Had the elkasauraus burger and was really pleased with how it came out. Brussels sprouts we AMAZING! My friends snd other burgers snd one had a bowl, all said they were good. Food was good enough I almost went back twice.

Leslie C.

Yelp
Erin was amazing and so friendly. The food was delicious and the restaurant atmosphere was comfortable and inviting
google avatar

Kim I.

Yelp
I ordered this for pickup while in town for a conference at the Convention Center. It's walking distance. The pickup location is in the back of the restaurant. Everyone I talked to was helpful and friendly. The bowl was delicious and the chicken may have been the most perfectly cooked chicken I've had in a long time. Next time, I would like to dine-in! It was easy to order from their website and the text alerts were helpful.

Co M.

Yelp
Typically I would never pay prices as high as Bareburger but I had a 50% off coupon from Uber Eats that brought my $30+ turkey burger and fries combo down to "just" $15. Now that I've had it, I can confidently say this place is shockingly, appallingly overpriced. The sweet potato fries were no different in portion size or taste than any other fast casual burger place's, yet they were $7. The turkey burger suffered from the same while also having an off-putting smell and after taste. I'm sure their beef and bison burgers are better because turkey burgers are harder to get right, but their inability to do so speaks to the quality of this place relative to the price. Even if those two items are better, there's still just no way it's worth the outrageous prices. $1.59 for a slice of cheese btw

James S.

Yelp
I actually ate here twice on back to back days while at Origins. Both times friendly staff took care of my order. I had the Supreme with a side of Sweet Potatoes on Friday. Returned Saturday for the Bison Burger and Onion Rings. Both meals were excellent. The Supreme was huge so make sure you are hungry. I added the BBQ sauce. The Bison Burger was very good as well. The Honey Bacon Sauce was phenomenal. May come back Sunday. If not next year! Glad the resteraunt next door had a long wait even on carry out.

Yelp
RE: Your second, undeleted response... A more likely scenario is that you made a childish, butt-hurt, nasty comment and then either had a moment of clarity or were urged to delete it by your better half, partner, or co-worker/employee. Now that you've been called out, you're trying to save face by declaring victim status. No one made any threats and at no time was anyone's safety in jeopardy. The fact that you'd have only accommodated a customer who received crappy service from your business if they'd been "more polite" speaks volumes, as well. I didn't attack anyone unprovoked. You failed to provide us with satisfactory service on our dime and then acted like a baby when it was pointed out. I didn't owe you a bit of courtesy then and I sure as shit won't give it to you now. Your actions here, coupled with the garbage your establishment peddled the other night, paints a very unflattering picture and it will only affect you, not me. I'm not going to go to war over this with you. With the posting of this, I'm done. You can have the Last Word, champ.

Yelp
The Naked Bird has potential but there were some major issues. This was my first time eating here.  I ordered DoorDash. I chose to try The Country Chicken which is grilled buttermilk all-natural chicken, smoked bacon, asiago, organic baby kale, organic tomato, mayo, creamy honey mustard on a sprout bun. I also got the french fries and sweet potato fries. The total was $17.50 which I feel is expensive for the sandwich I received. I paid a $1 extra to get the sweet potato fries but this was a ripoff! The $1 extra didn't get me more fries, it just meant I get a small amount of regular fries and a small amount of sweet potato fries. I won't make this mistake again!! When the meal arrived the chicken sandwich was tightly wrapped in paper which meant the sandwich and all of it sauces had made the bun super soggy and gross!   Thankfully I had a bun already in my cabinets so I was able to swap the soggy bun out so I could enjoy my sandwich. I tried to reach out to the store but there isn't a phone number listed on The Naked Chicken website. I found this really odd and a little concerning. The only way you can order from them is via one of the food delivery services. If there is a problem you are out of luck trying to call the restaurant. After some digging it appears The Naked Chicken is associated with another restaurant Bareburger which I'm not familiar. I did like how the bag was sealed. It was done in a way one could tell if it had been tampered. I felt safe that the food had arrived as the restaurant intended it to arrive. Overall the flavor was good, so I would try it again. I'm just not sold that the sandwich was worth the money, especially with all the other issues I experienced.

Yelp
this was such a great little find! the decor was so cute and everyone was so nice. when i asked question, the employees seemed proud to be able to show the restaurants values. i got the mushroom veggie burger (i forget what it's called sorry) and we shared fries. i was throughly impressed with my burger! very flavorful and i always appreciate when they have veggie burger options other than cheeseburger. fries were alright, and the tin made it awkward to share because we felt like we were digging into each others food. great ranch! overall a 4.5 but good enough to round up

Yelp
Good food, drinks, but terrible service. Hostess had AirPods in and barely acknowledged us. Waiter took forever to serve us anything, and was more preoccupied with what he was doing after than serving his customers. Honestly sad because it was a cute interior and good food. There was no music, which was kind of weird. In addition, they claimed to be gluten free but I had a reaction after eating there. Also, the natural soda is really bad.

Cecilia G.

Yelp
The best service and food and the salads was amazing 10/10. Excellent service as well as a spectacular charisma... and without overlooking the cozy and warm of the place.

Yelp
Awkwardly stood there while being ignored for 15 minutes. All I wanted was a beer. Would have tipped well.

Yelp
I am very disappointed at the professionalism of the management. Today 5/23/2024 the manager who refused to give up his name was shouting and screaming at me bc I ask him for an order to pick up. He literally belittled me and then proceeded to kick me out from "his restaurant ". He apparently was mad at the staff members but took it upon me as I was his punching bag. If I could give it less then a star I would. Nobody deserves to be disrespected in such a way. Even other staff members and other customers apologized on his behalf. Hope you consider who to hire next time

Yelp
We stopped in on our way to a Blue Jackets game. We were around 35 minutes before Gametime but didn't mind if we were a little late. When our server realized we were going to the game, she ensured our food came out quickly. The food was excellent fresh and hot! Great burger and fries! Unbelievably we were able to still make our game on time! It is also a cool spot, nice ambience! We will definitely be back.

1. They do not sell wine. Just one Prosecco by the glass. 2. They make a very poor drink if you can even call it that. Liquor in a glass with about 3 ice cubes that were almost melted before reaching the table 3. Terrible service unaware of what was on the menu and inattentive 4. At 8:30pm they started putting up the chairs around us to close. It was a Thursday and we were not the only table still seated. Is this place closing? How can they possibly stay in business?

Yelp
Was walking around and saw the menu for this place. It got me in the mood for a chicken sandwich. So, I chose to come here for dinner. But, now I was debating between the "Smokey Blue" burger and that chicken sandwich. I asked my server which one she would choose. And she said it was hit or miss with the chicken. That led me to get the burger. It was a bison patty and the server asked me how I wanted it cooked. I asked for medium, but it came out more well than anything. Didnt see any pink whatsoever. BUT, it still tasted good. They kitchen didnt skimp on the bleu cheese either. For a side, I got the onion rings. These were crispy. Even when they got cold, they still remained crunchy. Overall, it was pretty good. Not sure I would rush to go back though.
