Quality is clearly their top priority here and it absolutely shows. Fresh, organic ingredients done right with a creative, delicious menu that never disappoints. The onion rings are perfectly crispy, the macho fries are next-level, and the fried chicken sandwich? Unreal. And don’t even get me started on the milkshakes — cookies & cream blended with NewmanOs (iykyk) to end my meal on an even sweeter note. Everything tastes fresh, intentional, and made with care. I only wish this place was down south so I could have it all the time! HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I walked in on a VERY busy Friday night. And it was packed. So we assumed that if it’s a full house and about a25 minute wait it must be worth it….. and it was. I will recommend making reservations especially when there’s a concert.

I could eat the fries and the onion rings so day. I had the shrooming burger(vegan option)The burger was good, I should've added cheese tho. My only complaint was how cold it was inside. I hate when I can't enjoy my food because it gets cold because of the air conditioner.

I’m not sure what the hype is on the food but I had ordered the chicken and it was simply dry. No seasoning whatsoever. The water they give is sink water as you can clearly taste it. The atmosphere was fine. Service was fine. I don’t think I’ll return back there. I can’t speak on the burgers. Maybe they have better quality than the chicken.

Tried this restaurant out before beginning my errands, and I was not disappointed at all. I had their Chipotle chicken sandwich, which was great. The way that it was presented really caught me off guard because it was stacked on top of each other. Before all of that, I was given free seasoned popcorn, which I thought was new and cool. Usually, I am only a fan of movie theater popcorn, but this was really good also. I'm not sure what seasoning they used, but it definitely worked. I ordered the regular fries because I'm not much of a sweet potato fry type of guy. Next, I ordered their lemon and honey Sundae. It was really, really good. I feel like you usually can't go wrong with things that have lemon or honey in it, and I was right in this instance. Last and certainly not least, I had their carrot cake. I'm not really sure why a lot of places, in my opinion, can not make a decent carrot cake, but that's how I feel. This place, however, does not fit into this stigma. Their carrot was so soft, moist, and delicious. I was very impressed how good it tasted. I forgot to ask for no whip cream, so that's on me. Still, that didn't stop me from enjoying it one bit. They also have some pretty good deals on certain items, which is also giving me another reason to come back. All in all, I strongly recommend it. One last thing... the food came out super fast and fresh which is a plus because as I said, I did have things to do after eating so the fact my food was taken care of so quickly really worked out for me.

Good beer on tap selection. Nice little back patio for when the weather gets warmer. The burger....whut! Couldn't wait to dig in so I did so before taking the pic. Sorry. Delicious! Pretty good vegan selection too.

Came here with my husband after work and had a delightful time! Was served by a wonderful waiter who deserves a raise (Erick M) for the hospitality and being awesome at his job. My husband ordered the Wagyu Smash burger and I got the Cali bowl of course because I wanted to be healthy. It was good as I expected and was interested the way the beets were basically puréed. Loved that there were potatoes and everything just works well together. Wagyu burger was so juicy and a bit salty but to be expected with burgers. Was definitely really good and cooked just bite so you're able to savour every bite. Would def return next time! We were full this time but def want to try the milkshake.

For a place that specializes in burgers, the burgers were not very good / There are many better options in the area

I used to dislike bareburger because I hated thick beef Patties so I was pleased to see that the menu has changed so much since the last time I went years ago. While I wasn't happy with my Nashville hot chicken sandwich, my cousin was very happy with her smashburger and fries! It's nice to see that the menu has sooo many new options. The food wasn't great in my opinion but the vibes and service of the restaurant make up for a lot.

Had been craving parmesan fries and expected to satisfy it by ordering bareburger, but I was so disappointed by how little parmesan and garlic aioli there was. I could probably count the number of fries that had any sort of sauce on it :( unsure whether this was just a one time miss but for an add-on of 1.95 (in this economy!) for so-called loading my fries with additional toppings... rip

My daughter and I had dinner there on a cold and windy night. The place has plenty of seating and there wasn't a lot of people on a Wednesday night. We were told to sit anywhere and a friendly waiter handed us some menus and brought us water and some popcorn. The menu has changed a little since last week came. There is now an option to get the burger on a bed of lettuce. I got the elk burger with blue cheese, kale, and an egg. My daughter got the standard burger medium well done without the pickles. Her burger was simple but full of flavor. It was a solid burger. My elk burger was done medium and it was very juicy. If you had told me it was a hamburger instead of an elk burger I would have never thought it was elk. There was a slight gaminess but the blue cheese hid it well. The lettuce, kale , and tomatoes were very fresh. The food is still good after all these years.

Along with the other bareburgers through nyc, I'm not sure if it's franchisee or a branch. But it's definitely seen better days. Quality of the burgers were definitley off. Burger meat still was a bit frozen in center or raw and not cooked to the specification. Item's came off greasy, the onion rings, and fries. Also the chicken sandwich and burgers we ordered were a bit cold. Probably needs some TLC here so there are definitely other better burger joints in the area to spend ones money on.

Came here for dinner a few times. The service is always REALLY spotty. I feel like it takes forever for someone to take your order and they never come back and check on you. My brother ordered a burger and it had a hair in it and the server replaced it, but didn't seem apologetic or fazed by it at all. The food here is standard, nothing special but nothing bad either. The happy hour seems amazing. I might check that out and sit at the bar and perhaps there is going to be better service there, but I don't think I would recommend eating here. Station house has way better burgers and service so would definitely recommend getting your food there instead.

The food and service are excellent and the place is very pleasant, but i only give it 2 stars because it is grossly overpriced. For $16.00 i got the Impossible burger. It was small and fries are extra. It is an insane amount of money for what they serve on 1 plate. A small cup of coffee is $5.00. This is a restaurant for people who don't care what they get for the price.

I am trying to choose healthier options, so ordered the turkey burger with cheddar cheese and no bun. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the turkey burger. It was cooked really well, so it was done, but not dry. The spices used are well balanced and super flavorful. I'm pleased with my choice and will definitely order it again.

I wish I could eat this food every day, it was that good. Our order was delivered EARLY. We all enjoyed the Honey Brussels with Asiago cheese and our Cali bowls and sweet potato, kale and wild rice burgers were satisfying and so tasty. The sauces make everything even more fabulous. We had trouble with our online order -- the system wouldn't let us add certain items -- but staff at the restaurant quickly made things right, and what was delivered was perfect!

Was very excited to try this spot since I have always heard good things about Bareburger. I had their National burger which came with bacon, cheese and their special sauce. The patty itself was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. My boyfriend ordered a bison burger with blue cheese which was actually quite delicious. I had never had bison before, the patty was rich in flavor and was surprisingly very good. Their onion rings were big and crunchy and well seasoned. I will be returning to try the other burgers on the menu.

I visited the Forest Hill location . OMG , i was never a burger fan, But after eating a burger here it was wonderfully made - i had the California Chix. I am a Bareburger fan. uncured bacon, avocado, raw red onion, organic baby kale, roma tomato, cucumber, honey mustard . I ate it all! Not only the food , the staff. The waiter was doing a great job. We will definitely go again!

Great tasting burgers and friendly waiters. The food didn't take long to prepare, the burgers were done to my specifications and were virtually very appealing. I always return when I get cravings for tasty burgers.

I visited Bareburger with some family and the vibes and rustic/modern ambiance was inviting. We sat at a wooden table, almost cafeteria style so it gave me a bit of nostalgia. That aside, the burger options are plenty and the names are witty. I had an impossible burger, and I couldnt tell the difference. If you want good quality burgers, fries, and good service. Bareburger is the place for you!! I am definitely visiting again when in the Forest Hills area again.

If you want to go to a restaurant to hang with friends, this is definitely the one!! I went here with my friend & when you go in it looks like a bar but there is a lot of seating. The waiters/waitresses were very nice with ordering the food for me and serving the food! The food was very delicious and cooked I love it so much I don't mind coming back!!

Came here for dinner the other night and this was a decent find. Bareburger is known for their burgers, but what I actually really like is that there are multiple other forms of burgers here in addition to the standard one. They have a huge variety of patties that include chicken, seafood, turkey, beef, and vegetarian options. The fries are so large and generous I usually get the shareable size to split between 3-4 people. Also, if you can, get the Brussel sprouts. They are simply out of this world. Recently been here and service has improved as well as food quality. Ordered a medium rare and it was superb! The service was fast and considerate. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

I just finished my cheeseburger at Bareburger and it was absolutely phenomenal. We were greeted and served by Frank who is phenomenal in recommending different items on the menu. I went with a cheeseburger french fries they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place ask for Frank if you want great service.

Not great, but somewhere I would go when in the mood for a specialty burger. Between the two people, we ordered a turkey burger with colby cheese, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli. The organic beef burger came with pepper jack cheese, red onion, lettuce, ketchup and mustard. Also, they give you a small bowl of popcorn on the house. The turkey was definitely the better of the two, especially with a extra side of garlic aioli. However, like the last visit, their beef burger just lacks flavor. Maybe it simply needs more salt to bring out the beefiness, but it pales in comparison to Shake Shack across the street. With that said, their bison and elk burgers are all quite yummy from previous visits. The fried pickles are a good appetizer and goes well with the burgers. Next time, I will make sure to stick with ordering the specialty burgers only.

Wanted to eat a burger & was in the neighborhood so thought this would be a good option to try. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere not too busy. You could carry a conversation normally and there was enough space where you could distance yourself between tables. You could choose where you want to sit, by the entrance, insider the restaurant. Bar section did not look open for seating in early afternoon. Eric was our server. Very friendly and attentive. Order the Single So Co which is one all-natural turkey patty, avocado, organic tomato, organic baby kale, raw red onion, spicy green goddess. Plus, guess what my gluten free friends, gluten free buns are available here. Also, throughout the menu, the gluten free items are labeled as such for your knowledge. Yipeee! Plus, our server was nice to ask what the effect gluten consumption would have to prepare items accordingly. Burger was delicious and satisfying. Fries were crispy on the outside and not overly cooked. Just what you look for in a side of fries. Curious to come back for other burger options.

I had a double supreme he had the ran heel and sweet bison blues. We shared truffle fries. He really enjoyed both burgers and Iblike my burger. I really liked the fries! My favorite part of the meal.

Lucked into a table on a Friday night, before attending a nearby concert. Waitress was nice, service was quick, had a special burger with some spicy pickles. Added the honey Brussels sprouts. Burger was tasty, sprouts were cooked perfectly. Payment via an app on the phone got us out quickly!

Probably one of the best spots location spots I've ever had from this chain. It has limited parking in the area but if you find them it has paid parking. Got in when location was empty. They gave us popcorn for "bread of the table" which was new for me. I know the chain had removed and revised their menu and was Eager to try the impossible burger. The onion rings are always great. My boyfriend got a double bison burger (on menu) and my daughter had a build your own. The impossible burger that i had had a jalapeño sauce that wasn't spicy but had great flavor to. The impossible patty was delicious. I eat it pretty often so it was good to know the quality tasted so. Got wings for the first time which surprised me on the size abs taste. Delicious. Love how the waiter paid attention to us. Will definitely come here again !

New menu items !!! The Philly cheesesteak is now at Bareburger along with smash burgers and pastrami sandwiches!!! I just tried the Philly soft hero outside toasted garlic inside the steak was seasoned and tender, onions have some sweetness two types of cheese !!! I love this sandwich two other options to try : truffle and spicy then I'll work my way to the pastrami then smash burgers. Bareburger wins because of quality organic ingredients Forrest hills location is the top tier location. Keep it up!

I gave up meat awhile ago but when the craving for a delicious sloppy scrumptious burger is more than I can stand I always come here. Their Impossible Burger slathered in sauce and mushrooms on the brioche buns always satisfies. Always recommend.

Great service burger was ok. I got the national with a fried egg. I prefer my burger juicy and meaty. I found it to be more in the dry side and the onions and seasoning, etc... was too much for me. I wanted to taste the burger , egg and bacon more.

Bareburger is a great restaurant. I don't eat gluten or dairy. They have a lot of non dairy and gluten free options. I like the food there and the service. This place is very good because non dairy and gluten free is hard to find in Forest Hills Queens. I highly recomend this place.

The decor is really nice. Staff greeted us with a smile. Burger was amazing. The popcorn appetizer was amazing. The drinks were strong...just like we like them!!!

Great casual dining especially when your group includes vegans or vegetarians. Excellent service, clear menus, delicious burgers and sides. Fun soft drinks including fruity iced teas. The plant-based Beyond and Impossible burgers are delicious. Atmosphere is fun, with solid wood tables, chairs and lots of booths. Great photos on the walls to play up the burger theme. Serving and bussing staff are hard-working, patient, friendly. They generously accommodated one in our party who had particular, numerous requests. We enjoy eating here a few times a year and also do takeout.

I have to say love the interior here! It is huge, cozy and spacious. We sat in the booth. They serve popcorn while we wait for our order. My friend and I ordered the National burgers with different buns. I ordered the gluten free bun while my friend got the brioche bun. We ordered a mix of fries and sweet potato fries. I also ordered coke. I have to say it is delicious. Their ketchup is really good too. I will be coming back to Bare Burger in the near future.

Came to pick up an order. Stood by the entrance and nobody welcomed me. Then stood at the bar. Someone showed up at the entrance of the kitchen. When I said I'm picking up an order the guy said come here . That was a red flag for me immediately how can you tell your customer COME HERE. When I said the name on the order he didn't understand me and tried to grab my phone without saying anything. Obviously naturals reaction I pulled it back and showed him the screen. He got pissed off and was rude at me for no reason. His body language is also aggressive just like I'm about to punch you. Acting like a mug. Unsure what his name is but he has hair bun, all tattooed arms and wearing glasses.

I was not grilled about the food. My partner gave it a 6 out a 10. I personally felt it was a little dry. And for the place being pretty much empt at the time we went, the service was slow.

Hear me out - Bareburger has delicious brussels sprouts. Yes, I said brussels sprouts. If you ask anyone, I'm sure that's not the menu item that comes to mind when they think of Bareburger. Heck, you might be hard pressed to find people who actually know that they even offer brussels sprouts. But I'm here to tell you that not only should you try them but they're pretty darn tasty. They right amount of char and crispiness and they're topped with asiago cheese, lemon and sea salt. Makes for a great appetizer before you dive into one of their juicy burgers.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have been a long time customer sticking with this place through all of their nonsense menu changes. Recently, they have inflated all of their prices. They think they are being slick with the single and double patties, however they are now charging you extra now for the standard 8 ounce you used to get. it now cost almost $20 for just an average 8oz overcooked burger. I would come here because it was a healthy alternative - now they are even charging for mayo!! Absolutely disgusted. this franchise will soon be out of business.

I decided to order the lunch special which consisted of a chicken Caesar salad and a drink. The grilled chicken was super juicy (though small) and it came in a separate container which was a plus! For my drink, I ordered the lemonade and it was great. The salad was a great size for a lunch special.

We used to come to Bareburger Forest Hills all the time when our kids were little, and we liked it a lot. One of our kids was home from college recently and wanted to go back. Man has this place gone downhill. Service was sluggish, disinterested and rude. Took forever to get the waiters attention, and to place our order. He didn't seem to be paying much attention while taking our order, so of course a couple of things that came out were wrong. Since our waiter never came to check on us, we had to take the food back to the kitchen ourselves to ask that the order be corrected. Final insult was when the bill came and we were charged for four beers instead of the two we had actually consumed. I guess that the food itself was actually OK, but kinda pricey at $100 plus tip for one app, 3 burgers and 2 beers. So long Bareburger, and thanks for the memories. We won't be back.

Quality has gone way downhill since the last time I was there. First, even though the sign says wait to be seated, no one showed up to seat me. Finally asked the bartender where to sit and he just pointed to the dining room. To clarify, I asked "do I just sit anywhere" and he just nodded...too busy talking to a pretty girl sitting at the bar. Sat down and no one came to the table to give me a menu, but then I saw the QR code on the table. Opened the menu from the code, but there's no burgers on the online menu. Annoyed, I went back to the bartender (mind you, it's been 10 minutes now and STILL no one has stopped by my table but I was in a mood for burgers) to ask him about it and even he was confused. I asked if there was a hard copy menu, he said someone would bring it over. Finally noticed some people in the dining area too busy yakking with each other and had to wave at them to stop by. Once they finally did stop by, the service got better. Overall annoying but fine...I'm here for the burgers. Got the national and some fries. Waiter asked if I wanted single or double patty. Now, I remember the burgers were pretty hefty from a few years ago, so I said single. It was dismal. The meat to bun (brioche) ratio was totally off (as in WHERE'S THE BEEF ratio). The meat itself was more like a puck from the supermarket frozen burger section. The bun, fries and veggies (lettuce and red onions) were fresh enough, but again, I'm here for the burgers and there was NOTHING memorable about this burger. The fries were decent, but...the place is called BareBURGER. I'm expecting an outstanding burger for a place that specializes in BURGERS. Probably not going back again.
