Dined here with three others on a Saturday evening on the lovely terrace. The food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and smiley and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. I had scampi as a main course. What a fantastic dish. Five of the creatures served "tail on" with blended peas, water cress and new potatoes. What a delight for the taste buds. I didn't want the meal to finish as it was so good! For dessert. We had the house made apple pie. A thin base of puff pastry with slices of succulent apples topped with aromatic cinnamon.
this is a family run restaurant and everyone concerned with it, take great care to make sure that you feel welcome. Heartily recommended.
