Our wedding reception at Baresco was everything we wanted and more. The food was exceptional, the service was seamless, and Stephanie Lamanna helped bring the evening to life with calm confidence, exceptional service, and always eager to answer questions. The space was intimate, stylish, and walking distance from our ceremony—perfect for our guests. Truly a hidden gem in Pompano Beach!

I would give a full 5 stars for atmosphere. Service was good. Staff were all nice and welcoming. Ordered 3 things Habanero Wings was not that great was expecting it to be spicy /hot but turned out sweet Watermelon salad was amazing Shrimp skewers were good nothing that special or creative about it. Overall a nice looking place to hangout / get drinks and salad for my taste personally.

Taco Tuesday with happy hour — the way to go! I went with my wife and we loved the vibe. The tacos were delicious — we ended up ordering one of each and tried 9 different kinds. The drinks were great too, but the highlight is definitely the location. It’s right across from the Pompano Beach pier, perfect for a nice afternoon walk after your meal.

Arrived at Baresco upon opening. Had this place on my radar to try and was looking forward to this trip for months. Was told by waitress that the Pina Colada machine not frozen enough yet for the cold frozen drink I was longing for after enjoying the beach all morning. Said maybe 10 minutes more it might be. Waited 10 more minutes and still not frozen enough. Got Sangria instead which was very good, but not what I had been looking forward to. Very disappointed to say the least 😞 BBQ Shrimp Skewers were very good as were the Street Corn cobs. My original waitress I guess got slammed ‘cuz I didn’t see her much after my food order. And I had to flag her down by standing up just to get her attention to have it taken. A couple of other people filled my water and checked on me so I didn’t see her much after ordering. Since this was my treat to myself and was a one time trip to Pompano I sure hope anyone who goes at opening at Noon gets their frozen drink. Bummed me out that a place like that didn’t leave enough time to do set up before opening

Took my nephew and his new wife to dinner and enjoyed some great food! Service is always great here. It's a fan favorite for when we're in town!

Google
Great place. Large, spacious, also have a separate dining area for private parties. Service was quick, attentive, drinks were great(especially at happy hour) and the food and salad options were plentiful. Gordon, our server was great. We will go back often.

A great spot right at the Fisher Family Pier on Pompano Beach. Nice outdoor bar and dining or indoor if you prefer. The food was good as was the service. I look forward to returning.

Inside/outside across from the beach with easy feel. Food average, but not bad. I enjoyed my house margaritas the most of my food and drinks. Just to set high expactations and enjoy the local. Parking can be a problem.

Yelp
Baresco Mexican Restaurant Review I stopped by Baresco recently, and I've got to say, the food was solid, great flavors and definitely worth a visit for the Mexican dishes. But the service? A little chaotic. Our server, Tommy, was groovy for sure he had a cool vibe and was nice, but he wasn't the best at handling orders. He forgot a few things, and the food took a while to come out. In fairness, it looked like he was one of the only servers on duty. Although it didn't really bother me since while waiting we were watching football. Also I couldn't stop thinking about OG Fortnite and the glory days of Tilted Towers and the old map. It was hard not to zone out and relive those moments while trying to be patient. At the same time, Tommy's speed around the restaurant had me wondering about his 40-yard dash time. The dude was moving. And then there was this guy wearing a Mahomes jersey at another table. I spent way too long trying to figure out if he was an actual football fan or just a Taylor Swift fan. Overall, the food carried the experience. If you're in the mood for some good Mexican eats and don't mind a bit of a wait, Baresco is worth a visit. And if Tommy's your server, he'll at least keep it groovy and you know you're in for a good time.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Tommy was spectacular! His knowledge of the menu and personal touch made the experience wonderful. All of his suggestions were right on and the margaritas were great too! We had such a good time at Baresco and recommend the restaurant and Tommy to everyone!

Yelp
I sat at the outdoor bar, the food was amazing, the service was great. There is a woman by the name of Kelly, that is incredible, her customer service, politeness and attentiveness succeeded my expectations. I was disappointed to know that she was not the bartender. She was on it the whole time, to me and everyone else!!! WOW!!! Great location and ambiance.

Justin C.

Yelp
The location of the restaurant is wonderful--right next to the beach and the pier. But the ambience is pretty weak, especially for a spot with such a great opportunity so close to the beach. The service was poor. Our server took an extremely long time to take our order and just as long to bring us the check. Now let's talk about the food: I got the queso, and honestly, it was some of the worst queso I've ever had. It tasted like it had curry in it, which was just weird. I also ordered the fajitas for $22. I got literally four slices of chicken, a quarter of a pepper, and a quarter of an onion. I get that their rent is probably high, but the price-to-calorie ratio was way off. Overall: 2/5. Mid.

Yelp
Parking: street side or paid parking garage next to BurgerFi. Atmosphere: loud, music in background is inaudible, very dimly lit at night. Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, you will be watered, food brought to you. Menu: descriptive, no photos. Complimentary Chips and Salsa.

Jesley C.

Yelp
Right in front of the beach but not an ocean view. Still have the beachy atmosphere. There's outside and inside seating. Large nice bar inside ! With TVs . There's also large dinning spaces for all occasions. I came in on a Saturday around 4:30 pm . Wasn't loud or too busy. A perfect spot for a date and gathering. I was celebrating my best friends birthday. We got one app and tacos that came with a side of rice to share. The service was quick and pleasant. My server was so sweet and very helpful!!! Definitely coming back. The sliders were mouthwatering and so juicy! You must have! And the tacos were so filling and super tasty!!!!! Everything was delicious! Hamburguesita Con Queso $8.00 House ground beef blend, Pepper jack, Queso, Pico, Caramelized Onions & Carne Asada Taco $18 Skirt Steak, Pickled Onions, Cilantro Crema Served On 2 Flour Tortillas Pollo Chipotle Taco $17.00 Fried Chicken With Corn Relish, lettuce, Chipotle Ranch. Served On Flour Tortillas

Yelp
First time trying Baresco near the Pompano Beach Pier. We made a reservation just to make sure we could get in without a wait. Promptly greeted and seated by the hostess, and waitress was there in a flash. Ordered the guacamole appetizer and some beverages. Of course complimentary chips and salsa came as well. Awesome margarita! Ordered chicken quesadillas and tacos de carne asada. Both were very good. The restaurant looks very nice, and it's fairly quiet and enjoyable atmosphere. I will definitely come back here!

Yelp
Arrived 6:45 sat at inside bar, Bartender was overwhelmed and totally miserable. Didn't acknowledge us or greet us. The elderly couple beside us tried to get her attention to let her know we were waiting for service, she snapped at them in an angry manner. Put in order for drinks as we sat at a dirty bar. Drinks took 20 minutes. Decided to leave left $$ on bar for drinks. Ended up being greeted by outside bartender who explained she was working a double w/no help??? Not my problem, she was rude and out of line. Lucky for us he was kind and understanding of our frustration and couldn't be kinder! I suggest mngt get the young lady off the bar! Couldn't handle the situation. She doesn't work well under pressure. Find yourself a bartender or 2 that can.

Spensyr K.

Yelp
We were looking for someplace to kill some time before the 2023 Pompano Beach Drone show and this was a great place to do that. Making a reservation online was easy and check in and seating day of were a breeze. We sat outdoors which is lovely at sunset with the breeze coming in from the beach which is immediately across the street! Becuase it was a football day (there are TVs showing games at the outside bar area near where we sat) and a big city event day, the patio was buzzing with energy and full of people...which means it's not a tranquil experience so perhaps come on a quiet weeknight or sit inside if you are looking for more peace! The menu of Mexican beach fusion was extensive with lots of great choices. Drinks and apps were our plan for the evening so I quickly decided on the Crabby Guacamole app and the Kiss my Peach margarita. Wow was this a good margarita! Tangy sweet and a nice hit of spice on the rim! They are definitely working with nice fresh ingredients. Our server was telling us they make their sour mix in house and use blue agave as a sweetener...so he encouraged us to think of it as a healthy margarita. We were already prepared with our entire order when our server came by, but he was clearly knowledgeable about the menu and had we not already have made up our minds I'm sure he would have given some great menu and drink suggestions! He had great enthusiasm for their for their menu! The crab guac was a STAR! I enjoyed the experience overall!

Missy R.

Yelp
Hannah, Kaylee, Jay, Josh and Kelley have made this a place I now come to often. And only for the HH. You can't beat the price for a perfect sized spicy tasty yummy margarita and now they serve free chips and salsa !!! Perfect move and has me coming by often to have a couple of drinks after a day at work. Thank you for the improvements from a year ago !! Great job !

Tracy C.

Yelp
Really a great spot. It overlooks the Pompano Beach Pier. Food is Delicious. The ceviche was divine. The guac was fresh. The tacos were tasty and they cater to dairy free and gluten free. Wait staff was nice. The bathrooms were amazing, clean and functional. Had little bamboo features . Parking sucks and is super expensive ($19 for 3 hours) My big complaints are the live music was SO loud we couldn't hear each other and left pretty quickly after they started playing. The other is that I wish they allowed you to mix and match tacos. Overall, darn good.

Yelp
I recently visited Baresco Mexican restaurant in Pompano Beach for their happy hour and Taco Tuesday specials. Situated across from the ocean, the restaurant boasts stunning views and a charming vibrant ambiance. The outdoor patio and beautifully decorated interior added to the appeal. I love that they accept reservations because this spot can get crazy busy! During happy hour, they offer a small menu with food items and $10 margaritas, along with $5 tacos for Taco Tuesday. The bartenders were exceptional, providing prompt and friendly service throughout the evening. However, while the prices were reasonable, the food and drinks left something to be desired. The tacos lacked flavor, and the margaritas were underwhelming in taste. Despite the value, the overall dining experience fell short. Additionally, I was disappointed by the restaurant's inability to accommodate modifications to our food order initially. Although eventually addressed by the bartender, it was an unnecessary hassle, especially for a simple request (no pico). Despite these drawbacks, I'm willing to give Baresco another chance. With its fantastic location, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, I hope my next visit will exceed expectations, perhaps by exploring the regular menu offerings.

Yelp
Tried this place Saturday evening with a few friends. Parking is a hassle, because it's right across from the beach in a busy area. I don't think the restaurant offers any valet parking, but there is a garage across the street to the northwest. The place looks really cool inside. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. We all got drinks, my margarita was good. I ordered the following taco: EL JEFE 18 Seasoned Ground Beef, Refried Beans, Queso, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream, Flour + Corn Tortilla. It came with two tacos and rice. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the leftovers. My friends were all happy with their meals. So if you are looking for a nice restaurant to go to by the beach, this is a good option. We ate inside, but they have outside patio options also.

Yvette K.

Yelp
This was a welcome surprise! Never been here and I'm not sure why! It was so good! The guacamole was delicious perfectly balanced flavors and perfect ratio of chunk and smashed you can tell it's made in house. The queso was tasty too. We ordered the chicken enchilada that came with refried beans and rice. It was so good, flavors were authentic and everything had a home made taste It's located at the Pompano Pier entrance to the beach so you can make a day there then cross and have dinner. I highly recommend

Yelp
Added another star to my previous review as we had some great service and food during my recent visit. I always sit at the bar and on this chilly night, I sat at the inside bar and was served probably the best margarita that I have had in awhile. Wish I had gotten the bartender's name as she was great, especially considering she was a one woman show, making the drinks, and taking the food orders. She did have help from the mgr when it came time for the food to be brought out so that helped her a bit, but she took it all in stride. As for that food? It came up super fast which was great cuz we were starving! Fajitas for my friend and an enchilada plate for me, both which were hot and tasty. My out of town friend was so happy with it, that he wants me to put it on the list for every time when he is in town. That says a lot given we pass a lot of Mexican places to get up here from Fort Lauderdale.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night with a 715 reservation. We were seated promptly. Our table was in the bar area which I didn't like because it was very loud, but it was fine. Our server was adequate. We had the street guacamole for an appetizer. It was really good. We just thought the portion was on the small side. Had to ask several times for the chips that come with the dinner. For entrées we had the chicken quesadilla, enchilada and taco salad. Good, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant is very pretty. Seems very lively. I would like to return in the daytime perhaps and just have some appetizers and drinks.

Yelp
Barseco has been on my list to try since I knew they were opening. The mediocre reviews and high end price tags are really what's kept me from trying it sooner. I had hoped that now it's been open for a while they might have gotten things sorted out but not quite. Food however was good. We all really enjoyed our tacos and the traditional margaritas also went over well. Service and timing issues were the biggest part of where it fell short. When we arrived inside the restaurant was nearly desolate and the patio had only a few tables seated. Our 3 classic margaritas took around 10 minutes to make, and an additional 5 to 10 minutes for one glass of horchata to come out. Once margaritas were delivered we ordered our food, and when that came out only 3 of us got our food and the other was left waiting for a few extra minutes. Waters were also never re-filled and had been left sitting empty. In between getting our drinks and waiting for our food, the hostess was dropping off baskets of chips and salsas to a few tables. We assumed it was as an apology for things being slow. By time we were getting our drinks and ordering food the patio was getting seated more, but they still only had one server taking care of everyone. Overall, service wasn't great (though that could have been a staffing issue), prices are pretty high, and the taco Tuesday deals aren't really deals (2$ off some margaritas and 5$ for small street tacos of steak, chicken or gringo, served al a carte). We all wound up ordering from the regular taco menu as the flavor options and sizes were more favorable. If service/staffing issues (and prices) can get sorted out, Barseco really would be a great spot. The patio is huge and inside the restaurant really is gorgeous but the price isn't worth what you're getting. Really hoping it was either an understaffed/off day, or that they find a way to turn things around!

Yelp
After a long day competing Beach Tennis; we decided to try this spot as we thought it was Barsecco like in Brickell; totally different food and ambient. We started off our night with a round of cocktails; my pick La Sonrisa (sooo good!) Followed with a Guacamole de la Calle 16 was delicious but wish portion was a little bigger. As my meal I had 2 appetizers... * Mango Tuna Tostada was delicious! Corn tostada were extra crunchy and their crema drizzle gave it a nice kick to it. * Calamari were perfectly seasoned with an extra squeeze of lemon was the extra touch needed to finalize. The crispiness of each bite was perfect! Highly recommended especially for their Happy Hour specials! Our waitress was the best!

Paul Z.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink and app on a busy spring Sunday. Bar tender wasn't the friendliest but made a decent margarita

Stephen L.

Yelp
Food was great. It took an hour just to get the chips and salsa. Great place to come if you have plenty of time. If you're on a time restraint, be aware. Right across from the Pompano Beach Pier so the ambiance was nice.

Veronica T.

Yelp
I have been here a few times already and I'm happy with the food. One time I ordered their Mexican Street Corn and Kale Salad and paired it with their steak and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. More recently, I have tried their Picanha Platter and it's super delicious. Their chimichurri sauce can use some work but overall yummy. Their Mexi-ribbean Breeze was also super yummy! The service the past two times could use some work. I had one waitress that didn't check on us at all at one point we were looking around waiting for her so we can order. The second time was an almost similar experience and they were both separate times but the ambiance kinda makes up for it because they are right by the beach and play great music!

Carmen G.

Yelp
Birria tacos the best! The devil drink or kiss of devil- whatever it was called- was not to my liking! I did not like so I ordered a classic margarita,, much better. The weather was so nice and the evening was awesome. This place is a favorite of mine.

Krista C.

Yelp
Loved this place. It's pretty new to Pompano Beach. We stopped in to have lunch and cannot complain. The food and service was pretty good. I'd definitely go back. There is street parking available since you're in Pompano right across from Lucky Fish.

Ana Dias C.

Yelp
We came here for lunch and Tommy was our server and he's awesome. He gave us the best menu options on food, drinks and apps. He took great care of us and we'll def be back.

Colette G.

Yelp
Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Past this place driving around town and loved the open area bar and dining area. Checked out menu, Mexican sounded good. Yelp reviews said it was good..so we made reservations. Didn't need them. Sunday night Columbus Day weekend it's wasn't packed. Everyone was outside as it was gorgeous night. It's such a fun tropical vibe. Even the indoor bar area was beautiful. We dined in outdoor area. Only knock is if you have table near street, and there's a lot of drunk people around..kinda ruins your dinner conversation. That happened, but fantastic food is what it's about. Started with traditional guacamole & chips. Delicious & very fresh. Loved that they said up front if you run out of chips, we can bring you more. Didn't need them, but nice to know. Our meals came pretty quickly. 2 of us had fajitas. Large platter, all the fixings and plenty of tortillas to go with them. Sizzling hot, smelled fantastic. I had the chipotle shrimp skewers. My word, the lime potatoes and Mexican street corn sides were so delicious! Chipotle shrimp were huge! 3 on each skewer with grilled peppers and onions. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's generous portions. Sauce was perfect mix of sweet & spicy. 2 ears of street corn. Had to choose which carb to focus on as there was no way I was finishing it all. I went street corn. But the potatoes were fantastic too! I was full and so satisfied. Went with Florida local beer, Buhda something? Delicious and ice cold tap beer. Ambiance was casual, tropical vibe was fun and made you feel like you were transported to an island. Service was attentive & pleasant. If we ever come back to Pompano Beach, we all agreed we would eat here again. Even with all the choices. Fantastic meals where everyone is happy are hard to come by. Bravo! Everything so well done!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
The ambiance, both inside and out, was stunning. I visited for dinner and drinks one evening, eager to try this place. Despite some initial kinks, I'm glad I finally made it. The staff were friendly and enjoyable, and both the margaritas and food were pretty good.

Tony R.

Yelp
5 Stars plus. This is a great and intimate restaurant right across from Pompano Beach with a limited waterview. The service was excellent and the food was spot on. Highly recommend the Mango wings and $5 house margaritas were great. Ron and Matt were very accomodating and attentive. You can't beat the price and the great vibe.

Abigail P.

Yelp
Kudos to our waiter Jonathan he was friendly and helpful in navigating the menu. We were craving something different and decided to give Baresco. It's in the perfect location- near the beach! The inside of the restaurant is vibrant and open they played a mixture of reggae and Caribbean music while I visited. I had the kiss my peach drink how fun! It was perfect sweet and delicious. I ordered the Barbadoa steak flatbread. The red onions and that sauce took it to another level. It's the right size to share for two persons. The Birria taco I liked! The meat was tender and juicy.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
The Happy Hour is excellent here. We enjoyed the Cool Cob dip as a small bites on the happy hour menu along with the free chips and salsa. The happy hour margaritas were delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great ambience The service was top-notch. Loved our visit in Pompano Beach.

Manoula L.

Yelp
BIRRIA TOSTONES Crispy Plantains, Short Rib, Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, Jalapeño Crema

Yelp
Fantastic Cocktails and beautiful decor right on Pompano Beach! We've been twice now and have really enjoyed ourselves both times. Food is a solid 7 out of 10 but drinks are 10/10

Kelly B.

Yelp
Amazing tacos and service. Margarita was delish and made well. Great options of different tequilas. Ample sitting space and the breeze from the boardwalk is lovely if you're sitting outside. There is a playground right across the street where you can send your kids to play while enjoy dinner apertifs and still keep a keen sure if they're old enough.

Linh T.

Yelp
Popped in here for a quick bite and sat at the bar. We were greeted by the friendliest gentleman (Josh? I forgot his name, sorry!) with the best customer service. He made amazing margaritas and cocktail drinks for us. We enjoyed the mezcal oysters, ceviche, and shrimp nachos. They were pretty busy for an early Monday afternoon and the decor is nice. The restaurant is clean and very inviting. We will be returning soon!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant in a prime location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is great covered outside seating as well as lots of indoor seating. We went during happy hour and ordered only off of their happy hour menu. The margarita was perfectly balanced. The small plates were ok but the winner of the bunch were the Mango Tajin Chicken Wings. The flavor was a spicy sweet combo that I will most certainly go back for on my next visit to Pompano Beach! I can only guess that had I eaten the other items before the wings I might have enjoyed them more? Their menu looked great though so we will definitely try this place again in the future.

Alijah M.

Yelp
The Service was horrible, the waiter arrived about 15-20 minutes after we sat down. Not the biggest deal but irritating. I asked for a certain flavor of soda and I had to repeat myself 3 times. Then he told me they didn't have the flavor I asked for, and then again they didn't have the other flavor I asked for. But it turned out in the end they did have the flavor and somehow he missed it. It also felt like there was a long moment between getting our drinks, and sometimes forgot. Besides the service the food was good until one of our friends had got food poisoning later that evening.

Elaine S.

Yelp
Came here with a ladies lunch group. First of all- the place is beautiful. The table was set up in a private area & that was very nice. I didn't expect it. Our server- C J was amazing. He was very patient with us & took most of the group pictures. I wanted to add that at the beginning, they gave us chips & salsa- several- for the table- very much appreciated. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Pictured is the taco salad- totally delicious!!! Just the right spiciness. There were some miscommunications but all was straightened out in the end. Thank You so much- Mayah. You did the right thing. Appreciate everything.

Diana A.

Yelp
Perfect upscale Mexican food fix after a long day at the beach. We had the chips and salsa to start then shared the Calamari. Fantastic balance of flavors and high quality ingredients. We sat inside. The atmosphere was great, great service and had a nice ambiance to it. I would highly recommend it!!!

Jay B.

Yelp
Visited Pompano Beach from Miami and we loved this place! Great food, prices, ambiance and service. Lea was the bartender and server and she did an amazing job. Super attentive and personable. Highly recommend this place. We'll come back when we visit the area.

Anya B.

Yelp
Such a cute place with amazing food! The pastas were great and the pizza was so thin and crispy. Their espresso martinis are unreal as well. Only downside was service was a little slow in checking on us at times so we were sitting around longer than we wanted.

Barry D.

Yelp
Tommy was awesome! He went above and beyond the call of duty, hope he waits on us again!

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
What a difference a bartender makes! Matt at the bar made this a great dinner!!! Thanks Jesse for listening.

Reixa C.

Yelp
5/5/2023- Came with friends at 5:00pm for their Cinco celebrations. They have been open for 3 weeks. It was packed so we put our name with the hostess outside for outdoor seating. She said the wait would be an hour. She took my name and phone number. I received the text that my name had been added to the wait list. We went across the street to grab a drink. After an hour and a half, I went back to the restaurant and asked the hostess if our table was ready. She told us to go inside. The hostess inside told us our table was not ready. There was a hostess that was being rude to those hostesses and was talking about customers rudely. My friend told the hostess that we had been waiting over an hour and a half. She offered to sit us inside. Our table was right next to the bar which was cool. They had advertised mariachis but they were so far we couldn't hear them. The music inside was too loud. We were screaming at each other. The drinks, over $15 price tag. They had their basic margarita special for $7. I had that. My friends ordered different margaritas. For the price, they were very small and full of ice. Literally like 4 sips. We ordered the Guac with Crab $20. Chips were tasty and so was the crab but this is shareable for 2 people only. I thought it was too pricey and would have thought it was a bigger portion. I had the Birria Tacos $19. It was two tacos. They were super greasy. Basic flavor. No accompaniments. My friend had the salmon $30, it looked good, but again very pricey. One star for the decor, one star for our server (redhead, don't remember her name). I don't recommend.

Jahnai H.

Yelp
The food was incredible. Everything was extremely fresh and then fried Mahi tacos were sourced right from the ocean at 8am. There is nothing like fresh seafood! My girl got the carne asada tacos and she said they were bangin. Jarret is the man. Buddy was on bar and had tables. Mexican inspired ambiance was very rich in culture it felt like. New favorite taco spot by the beach. Picky guy stamp of approval.

Stuart S.

Yelp
I tried when Baresco first opened and felt it left a lot to be desired. So with my son visiting this weekend, I thought to give it another try. The reservation system was very nice and even though it was last minute I was able to grab a table for three. When we arrived, we were promptly seated by the host. We sat outside looking over the menu when we were then greeted by our server, Hanna. She took our drink orders and we placed an appetizer of street guacamole with bacon. As we consumed it (it was very good) we looked for our server, who had seemingly disappeared from sight. After about 15 minutes she reappeared at the hostess station. Rather than check on us(we hadn't had the opportunity to order our dinner yet) Hanna for some reason went to the furthest spot in the restaurant and disappeared once again. At the next table, another waiter was talking the order of other customers. As he finished and was walking towards the kitchen, I got his attention, told him we were now "up for adoption" and would he be our waiter and take our order. Now I am a big proponent of customer service and was impressed that without missing a beat, he whipped out his order pad and took our mains. I only wish I had his name but kudos to the staff for working as a team. I had the shrimp flatbread, my wife and son enjoyed the Fajitas. Once again we looked for Hanna for our check but she was no where to be found. Our host was able to get it for us and we were on our way. Overall, except for Hanna's disappearances the overall experience was pleasant. The restaurant is beautiful and t the outdoors had both a large screen TV as well as a roaring fire.

Yelp
Was excited to try the new edition to the pompano pier area, but was slightly disappointed. Yes, the decore is cute, modern and trendy, but the service was severely lacking. The female bartender was extremely rude to us and the other staff she was working with behind the bar. The guy next to me ordered 3 dishes that looked sloppy and not especially appetizing. The price point was also pretty ludicrous for a Mexican joint. Just not feeling it...yet. Maybe over time, they will improve the service and quality of the food. Till then, No Bueno.

Yelp
Was walking along Pompano beach and saw this new restaurant so we decided to stop and have dinner. Located directly across from the pier, its quite big inside and they have a beautiful patio. I The wait for a patio table was 20 minutes, so we decided to sit inside. The tropical vibe makes you feel like you're on vacation...which 90% of the customers were. With that, this is a totally tourist place and they can get away with that at certain times of the year. Lets see how they do over the summer. Now for service... they were really trying. I do have an issue when the server comes to the table and asks "What are WE having to drink" I always want to respond with "are you joining us and paying?". That was her line for everything...What are WE eating tonight and Are WE having dessert? It's a new restaurant, so the kinks need to be worked out. Taco Salad was OK. Ground chicken, corn, black beans, avocado and tortilla strips on top of iceburg lettuce. They could have upped the lettuce to a romain or even added a little arugala to make it stand out. The avocado was hard to find...but again...it's a tourist place and they don't have to be outstanding. i believe they are owned by the same people who own the Beach House, so they understand the beach business and who the clientele is. If you want to eat by the beach, here you go.

Yelp
The setting is lovely. All open air to see the beach and palm trees and all that Pompano has to offer. The staff was very nice. The two gals behind the bar were so sweet. They explained that we were there on their first official day (they'd had a soft opening for a couple days over the weekend). They only have one menu -- no lunch specials. And prices are a tad high for very small portions. This is in a tourist area so during season they can operate this way, but as all restauranteurs in south Florida know, you won't make it through June or September unless you have local support and local business. I hope they have the foresight to run some summer or resident deals. The house margarita (the least expensive at $13) was served in a small short glass. I'm thinking 6 ounces, maybe. It was good, but minuscule. We shared their tomato and avocado salad to start. It was mainly a plate of small mixed color tomatoes with a few small squares of avocado. It's a misnamed dish. Again, it was good, but lacked avocado. And there were other items in the mix that were not listed on the menu (like peppers and cucumbers). We then shared their sliders. There were 2 to the order. The combination of meats included chorizo which gave it a slight kick. The cute sliders were tasty and the fries were cooked well done as requested. I'm glad we came to check them out, now we know.

Yelp
What a nice place. This restaurant is situated right near Pompano Beach and the walkway to the pier. The service was on point. The decor is gorgeous. The food was great. I recommend and I would most definitely visit again.

Yelp
Finding parking for the drone show was pretty painless since we came early but what to do while we wait for it to start? Luckily, the lovely Spensyr is always thinking ahead and made us reservations at Baresco. Being a native South Floridian, it's readily apparent how much change Pompano Beach has gone thru! The condos and Canadians are still everywhere but this side of town has definitely undergone a glow-up! Baresco seems to be a change for the better... Our hostess found the reservation and had us seated right away, honoring our choice to sit outside and enjoy the ocean breeze. Beach dining is often crowded and rowdy, especially during any event, and it was a little loud due to the football crowd at the outdoor bar, but the decor is definitely geared toward that tropical vibe. Brown pillars meant to symbolize palm trees, blue and green chairs, and woodgrain tables. Nice. We only had drinks and an appetizer this time around, but the cocktails were kicking and the crabby guacamole was outstanding!
