Cozy cozy cozy! Arrived at about lunch hour and it was pretty busy, but it wasn’t much of a wait! The girl taking my order was pretty chill and friendly. Honestly, it was all very seamless. I ordered the meat lover’s panini, the toasted almond blended drink, as well as a cheese danish. All were very delicious. This shop is about the cutest little place I’ve seen. And I’m sure the crowd serves as a testament to their goods as well as their service. I will be coming back!

The staff are always kind and friendly, this exceptional service creates an environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated, making each visit a delightful experience. The decor is super charming, there’s comfortable seating areas scattered throughout, perfect to sit and read or have a conversations with a friend. The pastries and sandwiches are crafted to perfection. Items on the menu are kid friendly and can be customize. My kids love the smoothies & pastries! This place is more than a coffee shop; it's a haven where every visit feels like a little treat.

So, my hairdresser told us a great place for lunch called Barista’s in Tracy, CA. We go there and I order the Veggie Panini with a Butter Pecan White Chocolate Mocha coffee, and my hubby orders the Meat lover’s Panini and we take it home and it is Delicious!!! 😋🤤 And the coffee was Off the charts Yummy!!! 😋 Beautiful sandwich and coffee and the employees there were very friendly and welcoming!! DEFINITELY happy to go there!! ❤️❤️❤️🌻🌼😎

Google
I really enjoy the coffee from here. In town there are only a few places with affordable prices as far as non-chain coffee places go. I recommend the Iced Sicilian, the chai, or even bagels if you are in the mood for something savory. They keep things good, simple, affordable, and consistent.

Google
Love this coffee house. The drinks are good and the food is delicious, esp their breakfast sandwiches. I just do not like the dust that is everywhere, you could see the TV, lamps, and fans are covered in thick layers of dust.

Google
Had late morning coffee and bagels. I ordered the Iced Cafe Barista, a Latte and two Barsita Bagels [Cream cheese, cucumber, tomato, salt and pepper. Food and drinks were quality and the service was good. It was very nice inside and the crowd was very chill.

Google
Ordered a cappuccino, a vanilla latte, and straight up.. latte overfilled keeps dripping with the lid on.. latte water down flavor cappuccino is too milky. Don't know what the hype is.. but maybe it was better long ago.. ohh tables I switched twice what's more annoying than having coffee is a titter-tattering table had to put a coffee sleeve to manage it.. ruined it. Ambience-1 star why all the chairs lined up on the wall. Lol!! Too many people behind the counter and 3 orders after us got their orders first. First and last.

Google
Such a cute coffee shop. When I went for the first time, I got what the baristas recommended - and was so impressed! The coffee is really good, priced well, and the staff is super friendly.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop in Tracy! The vibes were super cozy and welcoming. Finding good coffee in a new place is an absolute must for me and this place did not disappoint. The baristas were quick, friendly, and really attentive. They have something for everyone -- from cold brews to hot drinks and blended treats. Their fall menu right now has so many fun seasonal options too! I chose the iced caramel apple pie latte and OH MY.. super yummy! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Yelp
I have given Barista's many chances over the 4 years that I've been in and around Tracy, never by myself, but chances nonetheless. If you need a sweet kick, with minimal coffee flavor, any of the iced drinks or blended will do. I have shared many drinks and have gotten a taste of most of the menu I feel. But about 3 days ago, I finally said to myself that I will finally give Baristas a final Litmus test: enter the Breve Cortado, (breve is half and half). When I initially asked for a Cortado, I was met with "what size?". Already a bad sign. FYI service is always good at Baristas so that is never a complaint, they are very kind, and accommodating to any request or extras you may want or need! Back to the Cortado. When I received it, the lid was on, so naturally I want to remove it to look at the texture, and maybe reveal a nicely steamed drink. Nothing. I was very disappointed. No texture to speak of. It appeared to be espresso with warm half and half poured into it. I know that's not what they did, because I saw the way they steamed my milk, and it was worrisome, and lacked any care or technique that makes steamed milk what it should be. The actual coffee flavor is what I already knew it to be, slightly burnt flavor, a little smokiness, and not much natural sweetness or fruitiness, since it was roasted seemingly too much. I wish there was good-great coffee in Tracy, but no one hits the mark. It is a great neighborhood spot, with good prices, solid pre baked pastries, and a loyal community. If I have a sweet coffee craving, I would choose them, but I don't go after that, I want something more. I've worked with coffee four years now, and have had the privilege to learn with some fantastic coffee artisans. I wish to see more of that, than family owned Pseudo Dutch bros.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop. The staff was friendly and took my order quickly. I'm usually a black coffee drinker but this afternoon I felt like something sugary so I ordered a white chocolate mocha. The barista handmade my drink as I watched from the waiting area. It came out perfect. Not too sweet and still tasted like coffee. I didn't sample any of the food but there seemed to be a good selection of pastries, cookies and other baked goods available. Unknown if they make them on site or bring it in but it all looked very delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly very unexpected but have to admit Im addicted to coming here not for the drinks... not that they aren't good, but I actually go for the paninis - they are on awesome iykyk They also have a large selection of baked goods, along with a large menu of many different drinks that they are happy to customize at your request. I always stop by when I'm next door getting my nails done lol

Yelp
Barista has become our go-to spot, and for good reason. My absolute favorite is the self-serve iced coffee. They give you coffee cubes, so you can add as much creamer and coffee as you want, making it perfectly customizable. At under $3 for a 20oz, it's an unbeatable deal. My friend always gets a bagel, and she loves that she can get her coffee and bagel for less than $10. The staff is consistently friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out. We often bring our laptops to work because there's plenty of space to relax. If you're looking for a great, affordable coffee shop that's also an awesome place to get work done, Barista is the place to be.

Yelp
Probably a 3.5 rounded up. I stopped by Barista's for a work meeting on a Friday morning. As expected, it was pretty busy with the morning rush so the line was long (almost to the door!). I didn't mind, though, since it gave me time to browse the menu. They have A LOT of options! Not only do they have options on their menu on the wall, but they also have seasonal drinks and other items available on papers posted as you get closer to the register. I got the iced mocha valencia which is an orange mocha (16 oz for $4). I've had a lot of orange mochas before and when I first tasted this one, I was sure it wasn't an iced orange mocha. It tasted like a hazelnut latte or something. I ended up bringing it back up to the barista because I was sure I got the wrong drink. They told me it was right but to this day, I'm not convinced it was. This drink was also really sweet. I usually lean on the less sweet side when it comes to coffee, so I'm not surprised that this was my reaction, but I felt like this was extra sweet. I ended up walking out of the cafe to go about my day, but turned around because I couldn't finish handle the sweetness. I asked them to remake it just as a regular latte instead. It was better, but just ok overall. Ambiance wise, it's got a lot of seating inside and some tables outside. It does get loud during the busy times so would not recommend working from inside if you're looking for a quiet space. But you could probably get some quiet working outside!

Yelp
Tried this place via doordash for the first time today. The toasted almond mocha is so good! Packed with flavor and reminds me of fall. I ordered the party bagel and the spicy veggie panini with egg. Both items were delicious. The spicy veggie panini is definitely on the hotter side so be mindful if you're sensitive to spicy foods. I personally love spicy things so I enjoyed it. They have a large variety of food, beverage, and pastry items. Reasonably priced as well. Definitely plan on ordering again in the future!

Yelp
My family and I just moved to the area. Came across this coffee spot and seriously sooo Good!! 10/10 I will be coming back!

Yelp
My friend told me about this place so I decided to go. I'm very happy that I did I ordered a hot chai latte with pumpkin and got some pastries as well OMG the latte was so delicious!!!! I wanted to go back and get more. The workers are friendly service was great. This will be my go to now instead of Starbucks!
google avatar

Yelp
My dad showed us this spot and it is by far the best coffee shop in Tracy, as everyone claims. You have a whole variety of selections of coffees, sweets, and sandwiches. Service is on point. One thing is that it can get busy on a weekend, so just be prepared for that. I like getting the Barista bagel with a Hawaiian Banana nut latte. Barista bagel has cream cheese with cucumber and tomato in it. The veggies provide this freshness to it to make me feel like I'm eating healthy only to down it with a sweet sugary ass drink in a banana nut latte hahaha. It is a nice morning sit outside as well after you get a drink/snack if you want to chill and its a nice day. Be sure to visit this place at least once if you're local and haven't tried it!

Yelp
A hidden gem in downtown Tracy! The food is delicious and the people are friendly! Located on 10th street (across from B of A). The chai was tasty and the turkey panini was so yummy! Price were typical (not too crazy)! I would go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Finally tried Barista's on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I love their iced mocha chai. The bagel with cream cheese, cucumber and tomatoes is so good! Plus their prices are reasonable. Service is always friendly.

Yelp
Compliments on a great panini sandwich, only $6.95? Wow, I got a pesto, pepperjack cheese, and turkey for that price. Hot and fresh better than Starbucks if you are on the go. Delicious, may I add the bread was perfect and fresh, and the turkey was great. I can't wait to get a salami one. I was super full. The portion size was perfect, and I haven't had a panini in days. The customer service was fast and friendly. Also, you can get the panini veggy style. Awesome, I am not spending like $15.00 for a sandwich. Thank you!

Yelp
Nice little coffee shop/Deli. I've lived in Tracy for most of my life and have never seen this place before. It's not bad but it's not great either. Their food is tasty, prime location (downtown) and I like the customer service. Good bagels! My only complaint are all the freakin' dogs and their owners! There are way too many dogs in this area and they even welcome dogs inside! It's very loud inside. I understand having a service dog which is ok, but not the whole damn pound! I really wanted a quiet atmosphere AWAY from dogs but that's not happening here. Oh well. I gave it a shot. Not for people who want to get away from dogs. Other than that it's a nice little coffee shop with nice people working there. I prefer the Bagel Street Cafe instead, It's a lot quieter there.

Yelp
Barista's was busy when we got into Tracy. We wanted to try a local spot and we really liked this place! There were locals sitting outside, hanging out and catching up. There were a ton of people inside also hanging out but also waiting for their orders. The cashier was super friendly and was quick at what she does. I ordered an iced black and white (oat milk) with a Barista bagel (tomatoes & cucumber) and my fiancé ordered an iced white mocha with oat milk with a croissant breakfast sandwich. Our coffees weren't too sweet and tasted great. My bagel was good, I would have preferred heirloom tomatoes though. And their croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious too! We'll be back the next time we drive through!!

Yelp
While on the hunt for locally owned businesses (especially ones that don't support the Israeli occupation with what's been going on), I happened to find a coffee shop that has been LOVED by locals here in the Valley. Barista's is located in the heart of Downtown Tracy -- their pastries are top-tier and delicious, and their mochas are quite the recipe! I happened to get their Hawaiian Banana Nut White Mocha, which is one of their pretty good drinks Overall service was REALLY quick, and they were generous enough to give me the wi-fi password... I'd definitely come here more often for sure I also loved the ambiance and the vibes too :) Oh and if you want to follow more foodie adventures... my IG is @austinthefoodie

Yelp
One of the most amazing local coffee spot for Tracy natives in the valley! Nothing can beat the prices here and the service to great coffee. Always had a fun time having a quick chat with the baristas here who served me, generally the most nicest people. If you want breakfast and coffee under $10, this is the spot to go. Had the Sicilian coffee one day just under $5 and had the matcha smoothie the next for near the same amount. Definitely when visiting family will have to come back to try the barista special menu with some breakfast.

Yelp
I usually order through Doordash. Recent health issues made it difficult otherwise. Fortunately, I am doing better, so when I finished shopping at the Owl Box, I popped in for a midmorning treat. I got one of their holiday mochas and a ham and cheese croissant. I got my sister a hot chocolate and a lemon poundcake slice (always moist and delish) and we grabbed some kind of strawberry bar for her husband. She said it was the best hot chocolate she's had in ages. Their pastries disappeared quickly. I loved my cherry hazelnut concoction, and my croissant was delicious as always. It tends to be a little greasy, but it adds to the yummy goodness. Service was fast and pleasant enough. Extra points for some custom holiday decor and the good smells. I still haven' sat inside, but I bet its prime people watching. They are always consistent in their quality. Definitely recommended.

Yelp
Espresso was too watery crema way too thin...Atmosphere is comfortable, they tried to make an espresso, it appears they don't have the skill set to dial in the espresso process, grind tamp...the espresso seems to be pulling to quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
Today's I experience a little bit of heaven. I ordered a triple espresso.oh my god!!!the gates of heaven opened up and welcomed me in. I now feel whole again. Barista's is the G dot O dot A dot T dot of Coffee Spots! The espresso will bring the dead back to life! I sent Joe Biden an espresso care package. This is a 10 star coffee house.

Yelp
I originally parked here to go to T4 but when it was 10:58 and their doors were still shut, I headed over to check out this place that was CROWDED AF, I was like- what's going on over here? I mean you could not have fit more people in this little coffee shop if you tried. I was intrigued, I decided to get a hot beverage and a pastry, and they were so good that later I got a smoothie, which was also great! The hustle and bustle made me feel like I was a part of something I mean truly it felt like I was in a European country sitting it one of their busy street cafes. The inside doesn't look like much but it sure feels like a whole lot. It's a wonderful little space, you can work on your computer or chat with your friends. WiFi is included with your visit, and there are a few plugs. My only sadness is that the parking outside is a 2 hour limit, so I reluctantly had to pack my things and move on.

Yelp
Went to baristas today with a friend and my girlfriend. It's a Saturday super busy line was long and I was expecting a long wait for our 3 coffees . Nope I was wrong the drinks came out very fast and made to perfection I love baristas and will continue to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
These guys over the years have been my favorite coffee shop in the general area. Not sure if it was a bad last couple of visits or if they have actually truly declined. They just aren't as good as they used to be. The coffee has been severely lacking in flavor. They work pretty fast though when I place those orders over the phone so at least that's a plus.
google avatar

Nicholas W.

Yelp
What a wonderful Ice Caramel Sensation -- tastes good even on a chilly morning. Staff are friendly, and they are speedy. Both World Coffee House and Barista's are Tracy's hidden gem.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in Tracy! They have a wide variety of drinks and refreshments! I am obsessed with their iced matcha latte! I request for lavender syrup for extra flavor! I love this spot and how great their baristas are. The cafe has tables where you can sit and hangout with family/friends.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
This place used to be awesome, but I was told it was sold to a new owner. Now it seems a lot of things are straight from Costco, like the muffins, bagels etc. Time to find a new coffee shop.
google avatar

raelene m.

Yelp
Their lattes taste so good, it's not watered down and they have tons of flavor options. I got a banana walnut latte and my sister got a caramel latte. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is cute too! Definitely a must have coffee house for Tracy :)

Arashdeep D.

Yelp
Love their vanilla honey mint iced latte !!! Cozy place and the blueberry scone is so good ! Fresh and fluffy.

Yelp
I've gone here a few times and had pretty good coffee and service but I think this place is seriously going downhill. Went this morning and granted it was super busy but they had a lot of people working. I tipped my normal 20% which I regret cuz I watched them making our order and saw it sitting there for 5 mins and then they called a lady's order ahead of ours and she came like 2 people after us. Then when we got our order the cafe latte was literally all milk no coffee. Did not find it out until we gave it to my sister in law at her house otherwise i would have told them. I did notice that the barista seemed to be getting confused as she was making drinks and sure enough she did mess ours up. I'm disappointed but we won't be going here anymore :(

Angela M.

Yelp
I've been a long time supporter of Barista's, going there throughout my childhood. I no longer live in Tracy, but stop by whenever I pass through town. Great drinks, friendly service, reasonable prices, and a fantastic location in downtown Tracy. However, over the last few years, I've noticed a steep decline of the cleanliness of the interior. There are thick layers of dust on everything hanging from the ceilings - fans, light fixtures, plants. If the fans are ever turned on while my drink is being made, I'd be worried for chunks of dust (no, not just dust particles, CHUNKS of dust) falling in my drink! Barista's you are fantastic - but PLEASE, clean up inside!!!
google avatar

Leonardo N.

Yelp
The food here I have tried are the pastries and their bagels. Both were fresh and tasted great. However, depending who makes your bagel there's a chance they will skimp out on the cream cheese and you will barely get any when asking for extra. On the other hand, the service overall was great, they were fast and accurate, and surprisingly polite no matter how busy the place gottem and no matter how rude the other customers were either. Everytime I have visited the ambiance is always a bit loud with a bunch of people inside where there's barely anywhere to dine-in, where it is better to eat or drink outside or take it to-go. No matter how busy it gets, I still highly recommend going to this place, especially for their drinks and bagels.
google avatar

Mav R.

Yelp
This is a nice coffee shop located in downtown Tracy and is frequently visited by locals. It is a smaller shop, so seating can become an issue during busy hours. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Busy hours are hard to determine and always seem to change daily. The line can sometimes spill out the door and onto the sidewalk. They offer all the typical things you would expect at a coffee shop. There is a large drink and food menu. I can't speak much about their drink options as my go to winter drink is their baristas blend coffee. For the summertime, I highly recommend their ice coffee cubes. They actually freeze coffee into cubes and fill the cup to the top. Then you slow pour your coffee of choose. As for the decor, it could use a deep clean and weekly maintenance cleaning. As some other Yelpers have stated, some of the decor has what looks to be several years worth of dust buildup.
google avatar

Angela A.

Yelp
What an amazing experience the employees were all friendly with beautiful smiles. Great customer service I asked for a drink & for them to surprise me which they gave me a white mocha pumpkin spice latte, which was very tasty warm and silly. Awesome place to go and check out downtown Tracy
google avatar

Priyanka S.

Yelp
Baristas is a cozy coffee shop where the vibes are calming and the workers are friendly. I have come to Baristas on numerous occasions to get work done. One of the biggest pluses is that they have outlets at almost every table and it never gets too loud. My go to drink is always the blended banana split mocha with whipped cream (it is actually available all year round!) which is definitely on the sugary side for a drink but is absolutely delicious and no other coffee house has anything similar to it! However the prices for drinks are definitely pricier than traditional coffee shops like Starbucks or Pete's coffee. I would highly recommend checking out Baristas for their delicious blended drinks or for some cozy studying vibes.

Michael M.

Yelp
Baristas in Tracy is a solid spot for coffee and breakfast. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice--good place to sit and relax for a bit.
google avatar

Christian F.

Yelp
The coffee, pastries, and sandwiches are consistently tasty. Additionally, these items are well priced in comparison to some local competitors. The location is the quintessential coffee shop ambience with plentiful seating and instrumental background music playing throughout. It allows patrons to relax and recover, catch up with friends or family, or just comfortably wait for their to go order. I suggest locals and visitors alike to visit Barista's, a downtown Tracy staple.
google avatar

Deeyci D.

Yelp
Always good coffee & great bagels! Gets real busy in the morning. So I recommend placing your order online
google avatar

Julie Ann S.

Yelp
came here for the first time and it did not disappoint. the drinks were not over the top good but still would consider coming back for more. it was around 12$ for 3 small drinks. it was louder than i thought it was going to be so it was kind of difficult to order smoothly. the seating was also a little weird for a coffee shop where people can sit and do work
google avatar

Amber D.

Yelp
THE Best Cold Brew ever! My kiddo loves the smoothies. Been the GO-TO for as long as I can remember. Yummy snacks, free WI-FI and great customer service here. Our family's favorite!

Kathleen H.

Yelp
I'm absolutely thrilled that a small business coffee shop thinks about all the details! Unsweetened coconut milk! Yes! Thank you! My almond mocha was delicious and I will definitely be back. Great atmosphere. Always busy but the baristas keep the line moving and the orders pumping. Love this place.

Yelp
What a way to start my Monday Like i said before, i've been in Tracy for about a year now , and i'm BARELY checking everything out. Anyways, this coffee shop is super cute. Its up to date. they have hip hop music playing , so that sets the vibe. i walked in and they where playing DojaCat lol. loved that. the menu was straightforward. i got the Iced Cafe Barista In a 24oz. Super Yummy. It come with 4 shots of espresso. i decided just to leave for to try see how strong it is , it was pretty strong. LOVE THAT. because i usually add in shots. The pastries looked delicious. they have their own coffee. and the part that i really loved was that they support Local Nurses . Me , being a health care worker, when i seen the sign up, i knew this place was going to be great

Dustin S.

Yelp
Ordered ice coffee unfortunately taste like water and the butter croissant is soft and soaked please help improve it.,,
google avatar

Aisha R.

Yelp
It's great coffee place. I love their ice coffees! Never had any issues. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's always fresh coffee too. They have good really good service!
google avatar

Kay O.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and I wanted to try one of their signature drinks! I'm lactose intolerant and I do not like sweets, I was curious about the praline white mocha combination. ..... I know some white mocha can be overly sweet but I didn't want to ask them to make an adjustment without trying it first. Hee. So I took a gamble and ordered it! To my surprise it was perfectly sweet yet had a nutty aftertaste! It was perfect just the way it was!! I will definitely be coming back here!!! Covid-19 setup: Outside it was a bit confusing, they had those circles you stand on scattered around for people that had already ordered. And if you were waiting for a mobile order you could line up parallel to the front main window. Since I have never been here before and I came during quarantine, I was a little confused but I just asked a couple people standing on the circles if they already ordered first. Hee everyone had masks and were socially distancing.
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
Probably the most popular coffee shop in downtown Tracy. After being closed for a while, it finally reopened a few weeks ago. My co-workers all love the drinks here. I've only tried the hot Latte and it was good. Tip: *Super busy on Saturday mornings while the Farmer's Market is going on. If you don't want to wait outside the shop, call ahead to order your drink.

Aaron G.

Yelp
The service here was expeditious, Joyful, and overall very pleasant. I cannot recommend this business enough to anyone in Tracy or anyone just passing through for a quick cup of delicious drip coffee, espresso, and even things for non-coffee folks. A very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere which is great for getting work done, I'd give Barista's 5 stars every day of the week. My only complaint is that they have too many options so I can never decide what to get. Go to Barista's!

Angeline M.

Yelp
I have literally been going to Barista from the time we moved to Tracy in 2001 until it was sold is when I stopped because their coffee isn't the same anymore and I tried it multiple times under the new owners!! Today I was at the bank and thought let me give them benefit of the doubt and try again! Nope I was wrong again
google avatar

S E R.

Yelp
So, I guess this place switched owners and boy has it gotten horrible! It is rundown and filthy. Everything is broken, dusty and dirty! It's been a while since I have been here, but I can not believe the difference from then until now! I had to use the restroom, but there was no way I was going to from the looks of the rest of the cafe! Also the pastries have gone downhill too! I think they're buying there stuff from Costco or Safeway or something like that I mean just look at the photos I attached?!?! Look at the display case....the glass is broken and they've taped it? How cheap can you get?! Also there is black mold in between! I think I'm going to call San Joaquin County Health Dept and maybe OSHA! I'll never step foot in here again and you shouldn't either!
