Barjeel Heritage Guest House

Lovely accommodation. Very old fashioned decor and rooms that lock with a metal padlock make this an unusual and unforgettable experience! Room was great - high ceilings, plenty of space and a four poster bed. Tasty breakfast too. No cold water but we got used to that. Definitely recommend.

If you want to stay somewhere different in Dubai, this is the place. I have stayed too many times in cookie cutter glass fronted hotels. It is basic but excellent if you acting the tourist. The metro line station is outside your door. Taxi's have a problem finding it, as due to pedestrianization you cannot drive directly to it. Easy walk to creek and all its buzz. Very central if you want the middle east experience

Great place. Fantastic rooms and very comfortable to stay in. Great staff and good American breakfast. Will stay again. Walking distance to Subway and to all the ferry's across the Dubai River.

A hidden gem among the city hustle. This places is an old Arabic style with modern amenities. There's no pool and gym but you get some lovely views of the cost. They have a nice restaurant as well that serves good Arabic food.

I stay in Barjeel guest for four days from 9th June to 13th June. I have stay many renowned hotels around the world and also in five stars but the environment here is like home away from home. The place ia quiet and decor is exceptional. I really love to stay with them again and again. Such a wonderful experience. Every thing is excellent just the breakfast menu they must add some more items. Amd i am also thankful to Miss Veronica, Miss Agnus and Mr.Gaurav for their efforts in making our stay the most comfortable. They are the most amazing hotel staff i have ever met. Thanks team barjeel. And i love to stay again with u people.

I booked this place and when I went there to check in they are saying that all rooms are occupied, and commanding me to go other guest house. I opted for cancelling booking, but they where simply saying that they will not pay me back anything. I tried to find the new guest house with google map, I could not find the place and none of the public don't know about this place. I took 2 hours to find the new place. the new room was in bad condition, the toilet with broken health faucet but i didn't complain, no use If you don't have a white colored skin better don't opt this place because they will not respect you ( i am saying this not because of inferiority complex, i really felt it)

Very good set of mezza, like Lebanese mezze. Labneh, Mutabbel, and salad with olives. We only tried restaurant, not the guest house. Looks very nice though. The area undergoes a lot of building construction now though, a bit dusty. Should be cleared in 2018.

Me and my husband paid 1447 EAD for 2 nights and in the morning my husband took a shower to finish with cold water and I had to take a shower in cold water and for lunch the eggs supposedly on a stove were cold. We find this unacceptable and we ask for a refund. He declined. I do not recommend booking this place which is way too expensive for what we were offered.
