Some friends and I stopped by for their grand opening and we were blown away! I don’t own a dog, but if I did I would definitely get a membership. The dogs were having the time of their lives and the owners get to enjoy the air conditioned full bar and food options. It’s a great bar to come for drinks without a pet and I know they will be having events soon. The eastside really needed BARk House! I will be a regular here for sure!

Bark House Social is such a fantastic spot on the East Side of Austin! It’s the perfect hangout where you can bring your furry friends to play while you enjoy some truly well-crafted cocktails. The space is brand new, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of room for pups to run around, both indoors and outdoors. They have designated play areas, making it a comfortable experience for both pets and their humans. Parking is limited on-site, but they’re surrounded by plenty of free street parking, which actually makes it super easy and accessible to swing by. Once inside, you’ll find a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that makes it fun for everyone. The food truck on-site is absolutely amazing, and the cocktails pair perfectly with the vibe. What really sets Bark House Social apart is the owners and staff. They are incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, not just toward their members but also day-pass guests. You can tell they truly love building a community here. Highly recommend checking it out, whether you’re a regular or just dropping in, it’s a place both you and your pup will love!

Bark House Social is THE ultimate dog-friendly hangout in Austin. My husband Christian and I bring our dogs, Poppy and Lily, and they are instantly thrilled from the moment we arrive. The play areas are spotless and safe, and the staff is warm and attentive. Chris and Sandra Vargas are amazing owners who have created a place where both dogs and their people feel at home. Their passion shows in every detail, from the friendly atmosphere to the vibrant community vibe. If you have a dog in Austin, you NEED to experience Bark House!

Bark house social is such an amazing space and concept! It’s such a pleasant vibe & I love that you can get a cocktail or coffee while the pups play. They have a variety of healthy food options as well, we got the ceaser wrap and avocado toast. We came on a weekday at 11 when they first opened and it was just us and a few other dogs. Great place to work remotely with your pup.

This place is the newest, perfect East Austin spot! There’s plenty of options for coffee, matcha, cocktails, mocktails and full food menu and a food truck! To keep the doggies cool, there are puppy ice creams and a splash pad. You don’t need a dog to enter - public walk-ins are encouraged! This place is already an Austin hit!

As someone with two, high-energy dogs and a love of cocktails, this place is perfect. Usually when you take your dogs out, you’ve got to choose between dingy bars that don’t care, or slightly less dingy bars that don’t care. This place is a godsend. I can let the pups run around without worrying about anything (they’ve got “bark bouncers” monitoring the play), while I have an excellent cocktail. And the space is HUGE. Plenty of room to run around and tire themselves out. I can’t remember the last time I had a decent drink in conjunction with a nice afternoon with the dogs! Now, parking is limited. But hopefully they can address that in the future. For now, great food options (some for dogs too), better drinks, and new friends for my doggos makes this my new favorite bar in Austin.

BarkHouse is the perfect new place to take your dogs and friends! So much space to hang out and the drinks are delicious! Plenty of staff on site to watch your dogs to make sure they are safe and having so much fun. Highly recommend and cannot wait to use our membership!
