Bark Social is paws-down one of the best spots around…for both two-legged and four-legged guests. It’s the ulti-mutt hangout where dogs can run, wrestle, and make new fur-riends while their humans enjoy great drinks and food that are anything but ruff. My dog Blue absolutely loves it here…tails are wagging the moment we pull in. For Blue, Bark Social isn’t just a park, it’s basically a second home (and her favorite spot to socialize). Huge shoutout to the bar dream team: Daniel, Colleen, and Cynthia, who consistently deliver top-tier service with a smile and keep the good vibes (and drinks) flowing. They really know how to raise the bar. Equally deserving of tail wags are Sarah and Logan in the yard…always attentive, professional, and on top of keeping the play space safe, fun, and well-managed. They clearly know how to handle a pack and do it with ease. If you’re looking for a place with great energy, friendly staff, and a setup that lets everyone unleash a good time, Bark Social is the pick of the litter. Blue and I will definitely be back for more bark, brews, and belly rubs. 🐾🍻

We’re so happy Bark Social Columbia is back open! It’s such an open, playful, and safe space—huge thanks to Jess. The Bark Rangers keep Nori happily busy (Colleen and Xavier are pawesome!), and the bartenders always take great care of me (shoutout to Daniel and Cynthia!). Love this spot.

Bark Social in Colombia MD is amazing, great place to kick back relax and still enjoy time with your furry friend. Logan the Bark Ranger is amazing. He goes above and beyond to keep the dogs socialized and active.

My dogs, Scout and Ember, and I love bark!! The employees are all amazing! Carolina, Cinthia, Colleen, Xavier, and Sam are the rangers I always see and love!! Jess is the most amazing manager!! They go above and beyond for all the pups! This place has the best vibes, people, pups, and events, everyone should come here!

We are so happy this place is back in operation! It really fits our lifestyle and allows our dog the social connections she would otherwise miss. And the service and personal connections the staff make with you and your dog are from a place of genuine care. Just today, Cynthia went out of her way to come to our table to clear our drinks and get us refills. She knew what we had ordered and what the tab was without asking us. And Jess, the manager knows our dog by name and sight. What a great thing to have in our community!

The best place that opened in Columbia this year is Bark Social. Kudos to everyone there who creates a space filled with fun, welcoming vibes, and nothing but love for dogs, and dog-lovers! Even my friends who don’t have pups enjoy it so much, LOL, so no, it’s not ‘just’ a dog park! Thank you to Jess, and all the staff who have turned this site into a real community. I am so glad this location is back! It was closed before I moved from Baltimore and got to experience it but I finally paid this location a visit this week with my yorkie & we had a time! It was clean and the staff was warm and inviting, especially Jess and Cinthia- those ladies are amazing! Thanks again, guys! We will be back !

Dogs, beer, and cool people all in one place! There is a small entry fee for your pup but humans are FREE! Membership removes the daily fee for your pup. Come hang out with a bunch of awesome dogs and fun people. My dogs love this place and it is their favorite place to go. I am so happy they re-opened. They have a great selection of beers/beverages and tasty food options too. There's even some good vegan options (I hope they bring the vegan food back)! It's a great way to socialize your dog and fun to just hang out and watch them run around even if you don't have a dog. Come get unlimited fur baby head pats. There's TVs so you can watch the game. It can be a good place to remote work too. Bring your dog and let them loose to explore and make new friends. Don't worry too much about your dog either. The Bark Rangers will help pick up their poop and break up any scuffles (you are encouraged to clean up after them when possible). CHILD FRIENDLY! There's a small dog area for little ones or newcomers (dogs and children) that you may be worried about letting loose with the big bois. UPDATE: Still loving Bark Social as a member. It's even better under the new ownership! This place is a great community of people and dogs ❤️. Karaoke 🎤 night is great! Come on by and check it out!

Bark Social in Columbia is an amazing dog-friendly place. Logan one of the Bark Ranger here does an amazing job with keeping all the dogs socialized and active.

An amazing experience!!! It honestly exceeded my expectations... if you've been to the Bethesda location, this place beats it by far! FOOD- surprisingly good!! I was honestly shocked at how good their food was. I tried out the nachos and brisket tacos I believe? Both great! DRINKS- small cups but they tasted great... not to mention, we came on a day it was 50% off drinks which made it even better. They also walked around with a variety of different samples!! SERVICE- Rachel was amazing! She recommended all the best food and drinks. She eventually walked out in a dog costume while "who let the dogs out" were playing and it was upbeat and hilarious. All the employees were friendly. The dog patrol made sure there were no dog fights and gave all the dogs so much love. They also clean after your pets! 5/5. A worthwhile experience. They have plenty of run room for your dogs, heated and lit seated area, multiple TV screens with different channels playing, an indoor humans only food ordering section! Definitely check this place out!

We had the best first experience at Bark Social in Columbia!! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was spacious enough for the furbabies to roam around. There is ample amount of free parking spaces. I tried the frozen mango margarita as well as the pretzel bites which were delicious! My dog ate some of their seasonal pumpkin flavored pupcakes (human grade), and he loved it very much. He's normally a picky eater so kudos to the baker! :) We will be returning more frequently.

If you have a dog, this is the place to be. I brought my niece's dog here to have some play time and he absolutely loved it. He had so much fun that by the time we got home he was so tired he went straight to his crate to rest. They have bark rangers to keep an eye on the dogs for friendly play, replenished their water bowls, and also cleaned up after them. The staff were super friendly. The place was wide open for dogs to run around. Lastly, the food and drinks were pretty good. Great place to hang out with friends, family, and dogs! Lives up to their tag line: Bar for dog lovers!

Omg! I cannot believe that Bark Social is open finally! When I saw them building it a while ago, I was so excited and quickly Google searched to see what it was exactly. What a great concept to bring pet lovers together to socialize with our fur babies. They have a great location. Being close to Merriweather and the lake, which are all within walking distance from each other allows for the Columbia community to really come together from all sides. I am so excited to bring my baby and can't wait.

I don't have a dog, but I saw on WBAL-TV that all of the Bark Social facilities have closed due to bankruptcy. The one in Columbia just opened recently. I gave a 1 star rating, because the business must have been poorly run to file for bankruptcy.

I was so excited to have a Bark's Socials in the neighborhood. Bark's Social should have been a fun experience. It was not. Their accounts aren't synced with other Bark's Socials making you have to sign up for their location causing a long line. To add to it I had already signed up but was required to scan a QR and sign up again with a payment method. The food was basic and the yard staff was inattentive and poop wasn't picked up. I'm really sad about this experience but will try them again after they work out their kinks.
