We were visiting Chattanooga and stumbled upon Barking Legs as we were planning our trip.
We went to a Bluegrass performance last night and overall it was awesome. The performers were fantastic and it's a fun, intimate space.
Be prepared for old seats, which isn't too big a deal.
Staff I interacted with were very nice.
Only observations (wouldn't even call them complaints):
1. We bought tickets online, in advance, as out of towners and there was no explanation or indication of how to get tickets or get in. When my dad inquired he got a bit of a rude response that seemed to assume we understood how this system would work. Turns out we were on a handwritten piece of paper. This all could have been mitigated if at the time of transaction there was a message that said: you'll be on the list at the door.
2. No one from the theater introduced the performers, which would have helped some awkward intros from the artists. They also started about 15 minutes late.
But it's a great place and very worth supporting.
