Great place. Enjoy coming here a lot with my 7MO GSD x Malinois. He loves to run and play... and loves to wrestle even more. Staff are super welcoming, and learn your // your dogs names quickly. Majority of dogs are super friendly, but every so often there is one that is a pain. But that is not the venues fault. It is not an adult daycare too... people should be watching their dogs!

I went to Backyard and Brews on Saturday night for a comedy show they were hosting, with proceeds going to Big Dog Ranch Rescue—such a great cause! I didn’t bring my dog, but this place is a perfect spot if you have a pup that isn’t dog-reactive. It’s like a brewery meets a dog park, creating a super fun and laid-back atmosphere. The staff was fantastic—they noticed we were standing and went out of their way to bring us chairs, which was a really nice touch. The place was surprisingly clean, considering there were dogs running around everywhere. The food truck they had out front was also a highlight; we got the steak tacos, and they were absolutely incredible. The only downsides were the restroom situation (there’s only one, so the line was long every time) and the parking—it’s rough. I ended up parking near a storage unit place and spent the whole night worried my car would get towed. Overall, this is such a fun, unique spot, especially if you have a dog! Just plan ahead for parking and restroom breaks.

I trusted Barkyard & Brews' "DAY CARE" with my service dog, and the experience was horrendous. While in their care, my dog sustained serious injuries, including a broken back, punctured lungs, and a broken tooth, all of which required veterinary attention from multiple veterinary hospitals. I was highly disappointed by the level of "CARE", and I cannot recommend this facility to anyone who values their dog’s safety!!! As a veteran talking about a "veteran-owned" business, I can state definitively that THE OWNER(S) LACK HONOR.

What a gem in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. I never wanted to take my dog to a dog park because you unfortunately can’t trust other dog owners. They make sure dogs are properly trained and well behaved and show no signs of aggression. They have a large clean space for them to run and socialize as well as many chairs and tables to hang out while they do. Their membership is very affordable and worth it. I wish all dog parks would be like this.

The staff is super friendly and clearly loves dogs, which made the whole experience even better. The space is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of room for pups to run and play safely. There’s a great selection of local beers, ciders, and even non-alcoholic options, so there’s something for everyone while your dog has the time of their life. I love that they also host events and have a community feel to the place. It’s hard to find spots where both you and your dog can genuinely enjoy yourselves, but this place nails it. We just renewed our annual pass for the 2nd year in a row!

I visited Barkyard n’ Brews after seeing tons of ads that made it look like a fantastic off leash, dog-friendly hangout. Unfortunately, the reality was a letdown. First off, it’s members-only, which i don’t ever recall being mentioned in their marketing, and they charge a $15 fee just to let your dog in. For a place that brands itself as a dog bar, it’s strange (and kind of off-putting) to charge a cover for dogs. It feels like they’re just using the dog-friendly angle to get people in, but once you’re there, the experience isn’t truly built for the dogs at all. They do have a no-kids-under-15 rule in the dog area, which I appreciated for safety, but then they ban toys. TOYS! So, dogs can’t even play. My dog loves to play fetch, and without anything to do, she was just bored and overheated. The park layout is just a big open square with a couple of random “dog Olympic” type of obstacles, minimal shade, and limited seating. And let’s talk about the heat. This is Florida, and the only air-conditioned area is the front check-in desk. The bar area, was okay, it was at least slightly shaded, but the food area was absolutely sweltering. They did have a large fan, i’ll give them that, but only one on one side of the dog area. The guy serving beers kept disappearing into the AC area, and the rest of us were stuck waiting around for him to show back up. On top of that, there was only one bathroom! They also apparently throw events with music, but the layout and heat make it feel like the events are for people to post on Instagram, not for you and your dog to actually enjoy. It all feels more about the look of being a dog friendly bar than the function of one. Honestly, if I wanted to sit in the heat with my dog and drink a beer, I could’ve gone to a dog beach for cheaper, or better yet, i could go to The Wharf Fort Lauderdale instead where it’s far more comfortable, has way more shade, AC restrooms, and doesn’t charge you for simply showing up with your dog. Not worth the hype or the cost.

This place is a DREAM COME TRUE! I never have to decide between going out for food and beers or taking my beagles to the park ever again, Barkyard N' Brews is the perfect combination of both. I absolutely love how big a space they have to play in off-leash (HUGE is an understatement! The photos do not do it justice!), and my Bella especially loves the splash pad! She is obsessed!!! The beer selection they have is fantastic, and the rotating food trucks are awesome. Also, whoever thought of separating the eating area from the park area but in a way I can still watch my pups is a genius! My Bella is a notorious food thief and this is always a big concern when we go places. Humans can comfortably enjoy their food while their dogs play within plain view. The substantial hours they’re open enable me to come by no matter how busy I get. The owners really thought of everything, and top of all this, they are superrr kind and welcoming. I really cannot say enough good things about this place! I will be here every single week! (I highly recommend the yearly membership!) Thanks Barkyard N’ Brews!

You Have a Dog, You NEED to Visit This Place! Barkyard & Brews is our absolute favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale--and Clover (our goldendoodle) would 100% agree. From the moment we walk in, she's all tail wags and zoomies. The off-leash dog park is spacious, super clean, and always staffed with friendly and attentive Bark Rangers who make sure all the pups are playing safely. The doggy daycare has been a total game changer for us. Clover goes a few days a week, and she always comes home happy, well-exercised, and ready for a nap. The staff treats her like one of their own, and we feel completely confident leaving her in their care. It's clear they truly love what they do. And let's talk about the "Brews" part--great local beer selection, rotating food trucks, and live music on the weekends. It's the perfect place to hang out with friends (two-legged and four-legged) while the dogs play their hearts out. Whether you're looking for a safe, social place for your pup, a go-to spot for doggy daycare, or just want to sip a cold beer while your dog lives their best life--Barkyard & Brews delivers on all fronts. Can I give it 10 stars?! the staff is super friendly, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. The play space is mixed for big and little dogs, so they have a rufferee who makes sure all fur babies play nice. They have a great selection of beers, and plenty of space for humans to relax while pups play. We absolutely loved it and will be back very soon.

WOW...a hidden brew spot on a side street in a warehouse district. Cool hang out brewery vibe inside with several tables and of course the Jenga game. Been here for three years. Outside is a double open window trailer that serves cold craft brews on tap. Next to the beer truck is a massive grass turf area for your dogs to play freely. $10 per dog or free to enter without a pet. Doggy day care coming soon. Digital pay for personal song choice jukebox, but plenty of songs playing for free. Just a really unique brew location. Free street parking but is tight when busy though. The owners Rob and Russell are two great guys so stop in and say hi. They partner up with dog shelters and themed events. Spotless bathrooms too. Great place 5 stars easy.

What a great concept. A private well/maintained dog park attached to a little beer and snack situation. I was a guest of a member and didn't have my own dog with me. But his dog loved it, is a frequent visitor and had a blast running around and socializing with the other doggies. I'm a dog lover and I like people pretty much too so this was fun. There's chairs all around the perimeter and the surface is fake grass so it is very well maintained. We each had a beer that was really good and the vibe was hip and chill. Enjoyed it very much. The dogs all need to be registered to enter and there are rules so beware before showing up spontaneously. My friend is a member so he can go as often as he wants. It's a cool place and perfect fit the dog lovers out there.

As a newer dog owner, I'm always a little nervous bringing my dog out to a dog park and places like this. But I was out at ease the moment we walked in. Such a open area for the dogs to play and love the agility course they have. It was cute to watch my dog conquer the ramp by the end of the night. Great place to grab a drink and hang with friends while the dogs burn off their energy. Food and drinks are easily available. There is also a woofarie to make sure that all the dogs place nicely. Everyone was very respectful and kept their dogs in check. My dog did get a little nipped at by another dog, but the owner was saying hi to mine and hers got jealous. Which she admitted was her fault. Everyone made sure my guy was ok too, which he absolutely was. When it happened the staff blew their fog horn and it stopped it immediately. But even with that, still 5 stars. I only wish I lived a little bit closer to make a membership worthwhile! I hope this catches on and more dog breweries become a thing!

Our favorite spot for a chill hangout night! We love to take our pup out when we go out and this is just the spot. My fiancé and I have been coming here since they opened and they always seem to be adding new cool things! They have plenty of seating, a good beer selection, always some kind of food truck/vendor in the front and the owner behind the bar always takes the best care of us and provides great service. If you want a laid back night, some delicious brews, and to hang around a bunch of pups, do not hesitaste to stop by. They also offer monthly memberships and have pop ups all the time!

Would have been a lot fun if the rules weren't so cooky!!! They want you to have a membership to enter but will allow a $10 daily fee.. on top of that they turned us and many other dogs away because you have to be up to date on "specific" vaccines.. there are so many other dog parks and dog beaches and no one has rules like this !!! It's not like we have rabid animals running wild as these are domesticated pets so it makes no sense to me. I don't think anyone's worried about dogs having rabies these days. Also, if they're worried about temperament of dogs, it would make sense if they would have a designated area for smaller dogs instead of one big area for all the dogs!! Baffling! This place has potential, but It's not organized in a way that meets many peoples needs for their pets.

I really like this place, it's clean it's taken care of, the dogs all seem to be nice and get along. There are some shade area for the humans and a large running area for the dogs

The playground was great they kept the turf wet so it wouldn't get too hot! Has the splash pad open and pools for the pups! Great place to spend when you want to just hang out and have a beer!

I love the concept of this place. Allow your dog to run and play while you have a beer and socialize with other dog lovers. The ground is covered with turf grass so your pup still comes home clean. They have a doggy splash pad for those dogs that love to play in water. I also appreciate that all dogs must show proof of vaccination. I've met some really cool people here and would highly recommend. I also like the fact it's open late so you can have your dog unleash that energy at night in a safe space. The only thing I would say that would make it better is if they had a small dog park. While they do have attendants to make sure safe play is going on. My dog is a little intimidated by the big dogs so after 10/15 minutes she's ready to leave. But there are plenty of little dogs there that hold their own and have a blast.

Decided to go to a Halloween event at this location. Overall was not a bad experience but I think there's some improvement needed with communication about the rules to enter. There is a $10 daily entry fee but they also offer a VIP monthly membership. The location itself is for someone who feels comfortable with their pup interacting with all types of dogs. It's a large open area so large dogs interact with small dogs. I also wish they communicate that the dog needs to be sprayed/neutered and up to date with vaccinations before entering the park. I noticed a lot of people were turned away due to that. Seems like a nice area and would try to visit again (not during an event).

We love it here! The best spot to hang out with your dog and great beers on tap! They also have staff taking care of the yard and everything you need! What a great place that Fort Lauderdale needed!

Bella my pup would like everyone to know this is a must place to visit! She has made so many friends each time her mom - me - takes her for a day filled with running around having fun! The entire staff & owners greet you with a smile, are welcoming & are always watching in case a dog becomes aggressive which that has never occurred while I've been there and we go quite often. The place is clean, safe, you have no worries letting your furbaby run loose while you enjoy a nice cold beer.

Cool place that's different! Great place to socialize and get to know new people. My dog got a free pup cup which was cool they also ask questions about your dog and vaccines being up to date.

This is my first review ever and I'm so sad for it to be a bad one. Me and my two dogs had been waiting to attend your costumes event today 10/22/2023 since it was announced. First thing when we walked through to the door was a lady (Stacy) telling us "no cups allowed" before welcome or anything, which is whatever, I would've go and put cup back in my car. We didn't register online so I let her know before hand assuming she would help us do it there since they have a front desk. With the most disgusting attitude she proceeded to tell me "I know have to crate a profile for you, what are you dogs ages" as if that meant jumping over backwards for us, and I don't mean to sound like an a**whole, but that's her job, right? We were not allowed into the event because one of my dogs is not neutered and he is a year old, which I wasn't aware of but I respect and understand. To top it off, we were allowed to go take some pictures, as one of our dear friends were part of the event and she just stood there giving us nasty looks, I guess rushing us and then patted me on the shoulder at the end followed by "I have to go back to the desk so... *motioning for me to leave*" She made the whole experience unpleasant when it didn't have to be like that, all we wanted was to go have fun and support the vendors, and even if we were not allowed into the event, the attitude could have been much nicer. It's heartbreaking how one person can make the whole establishment look so bad. We won't be back as I'm not neutering my dog and this review in no way is meant to hurt the establishment but to let management know if things that matter, like the costumer service Stacy has no clue of.

Such a unique concept! This is a really cool spot for dog owners and it hits so many sweet spots for things to do. The outdoor area is pretty large with lots of cool shade areas, terrain features, and a giant water fountain for your dog to cool off. Inside they have a little bar area with a giant screen for watching whatever sportsball game is on that day. There's a second outside area that appears to be unused for the most part but they have additional seating and stuff there too. In front is a pull-up food truck but only tacos and quesadillas were on the menu. I do have a couple small critiques however: 1) The bar was low-pouring the beers, which is kind of annoying, so expect a lot of head and not a full pint glass (I so wish we could just adopt Europe standards of proper labeling of pint glasses) 2) The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, with fresh shredded chicken. However it is pretty small for $12. I understand we are living in an era of hyperinflation and people have to afford $2500 a month rents. But I would have expected at least twice the size of what they were offering. Maybe up the price like $2-3 and offer a more substantial portion. I was initially thinking I would split it with my girlfriend, but after seeing the size I had to reneg. I would recommend maybe adding some additional features like lawn games or something in the area being unused out back. It would be pretty cool to hang out there with your dogs leashed after letting them run loose in the park. Overall it's a great venue.

This is not your typical dog park. First of all, my dog likes to bark to show other dogs that he wants to play but most of the dog owners that attend tell him to "shhhhh" or "be quiet" like we're at a library. Unacceptable considering the place is a dog park and actually called "BARK-yard". A recent incident occurred when a dog was barking at another dog with a muzzle and continued to bark. Now it's fair that the barking was prolonged because of the dogs curiosity of the muzzle, but you could see the growing annoyance of people in the park. Once the owner picked his dog up to calm him down, everyone in BnB decided to give the owner a round of applause. Absolutely despicable! It was at this point when I knew we would not be going back to BnB again. Secondly. the wooferees, who act as a referee for aggressive dogs, only work on the slow days and not on the busy days, which is obviously counterproductive. Thirdly, people come here like it's a bar and more times than not, forget what the place really is. It's literally 5 mins away from the Las Olas strip with restaurants and multiple bars. These people should leave there dogs at home and go to an actual bar instead of acting like they're no dogs around at the park. Finally, the business is just poorly run. There are small dogs mixed in the same area as large dogs. This is the only dog park (including free ones in Broward) that doesn't separate +30 pound dogs from -30 pound dogs. So you can assume that people with their small dogs are paranoid that a larger dog trying to actually play, is trying to hurt their dog. I've seen this multiple times, and it's beyond disappointing that the owner has not had a chance to look at and take care of this GLARING flaw. The one positive I can give to this business is the beer selection is great! Good luck if you haven't been here before.

10/10 I have a 4 month old Goldendoodle and I was hesitant to let him roam freely around other dogs. The staff assured me he was going to be a-okay. I loved that there was someone watching the yard and attentive to all the dogs. The locals who were there were all great- which made this visit even sweeter. They have a nice range of alcoholic beverages to choose from, alot of seating throughout the park to chill & lots of space to roam freely. They do ask for vaccination history so do be prepared to provide. Daily visits are $10, making the unlimited monthly visits for $30 totally worth it. I can't wait to visit again.

I like their organization with the referee aka puperee! The drinks are very pricey though and beware because they do get knocked over and it'll sure will cost you! I'm not sure I agree with their vaccine policy, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Dogs over 10 months have to be vaccinated, so there's a better crowd than found at the average dog parks. The owners seem to pick up after their dogs too. Don't be inside bc it's sweltering!

Highly recommend! If it's your first time, make sure you read their policies and create a profile online ahead of time for an easy check in. I noticed most of the negative reviews were from people who were unaware of their policies. Overall great establishment and my dogs love coming here!

What a cute idea! There is a store, an indoor beer garden, and an outdoor play area. The day pay is $10 but they also have a monthly membership or a yearly membership. Once we got Lily all checked in, we walked through the beer garden. We came on a Sunday right after it stopped raining so it was pretty dead. We grabbed two beers, they had about 8 on draft and then a selection of cans. The beers were a little pricey at 8-10 each but not terrible. We hung out inside in the beer garden for a little playing jenga and letting the dogs mingle and then made our way out to the huge play area. There were a couple agility training areas and a nice water pad. My dog wasn't too interested in either but she did love running around chasing the other dogs. I like the idea of grabbing a drink and hanging out while the dogs tire themselves out. I would probably get a monthly membership if I lived a bit closer but for now the day pass is fine to just stop in every once in awhile.

Such a cool concept. Wish there were more out there. Watching the dogs playing in water and just having fun was so relaxing. Human drinking beer and chilling. It was perfect.

I love this place! One suggestion: create a small dog section ! My doggy (10 lb Pom) got playfully nipped by a giant Huskey. She's too little to be playing with the big dogs . For safety , I suggest a small dog section.

Came to B&B for some fun with the people and pups from my dog friendly gym. We had quite the group and it was so great seeing so many well behaved pups playing and interacting. There is always that one dog though (LOL)! They do a pretty decent job at maintaining the grass and such but it was a bit of a rainy day so there were some muddy areas. I loved the little water area they had for the dogs to play in! Overall, this is a great space nestled in the commercial area right next to Orchestrated Minds brewing. The parking is mostly street parking and it would be great if they had some information on their website about where it was ok to park to avoid getting towed. Their beer truck has can and draft options with a few other seltzers mixed in. I also think they had wine but not 100% sure. They have a great indoor area with TV's and picnic tables which dogs have to be leashed to be in but a great area nonetheless. My only complaint about B&B is that one of their staff members from the beer truck came up to my friend and mentioned that children under 12 were not allowed in the dog park area. We were very understanding but there was a VERY SMALL sign that we found that said this so they should definitely make sure to post this closer to the dog park entrance. My other issue was that this staff member said something to my friend but did not say it to two other people that had smaller children (who were definitely under the age of 12) that were actually running around chasing the dogs. If you're going to say something to one person - it needs to be said to everyone. Those kids remained in the dog park area the entire 2+ hours we were there with nothing at all said to their parent. I think Barkyard & Brews is a great concept and welcome addition to the south FL beer scene - will definitely be returning again.

Amazing place, a lot of fun, nice people and they watch the dogs pretty carefully so there are no fights, comfortable place, great ambiance!

Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere for both the owners and dogs. Worth the membership for peace of mind knowing all dogs have to have proper updated vet records. Continue to add great things to the park.

Great place. Lots of seating areas in the shade and sun. Plenty of water and a water pad for the dogs. All Astro turf so nice and clean. Tip: it was $22 for two dogs for one day. But it would have been $46 for two for a month. They should have up sold me at the counter. Before you go the first time, fill out the membership app online so it is an easy in. They require paperwork for your dog. I was there at 3 on a Thursday, stayed till 4:45 and the bar never opened. Would have liked a beer.

The lady and I recently got our doge a monthly membership here. This is a place where both you and your furry friend can have a good time. If you are in the Fort Lauderdale area, whether visiting or residing; this is definitely the place to bring your doge to!

The place is nice, but unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Stacey. She had a rude way of talking to me and with other customers I saw. I feel that the way she looked at me and my friends was not necessary. I don't know if she had a bad day and was taking it out on me and the other customers, but I definitely won't come back, and I do not recommend going.

It's a great concept but... We had a really great time with Polly, but they had some pretty dumb rules: 1. All dogs have to be spayed/neutered, but Polly was able to enter because she was a puppy and have not had her first heat by that time. They could just ask for dogs not to come when in heat. 2. You can not play catch with your dog, because and quoted "all dogs will want to play too" and what's the problem? I don't know. 3. Kids under 12 can not go into the backyard. Other than that, we had good beer and wine but we won't be back.. because well, we're not spaying our dog to be able to enter.

Run by idiots who have unsafe rules for the dogs, they allow aggressive ones, dont require vaccinations, lie about vets recommending communal water bowls not spreading disease, refuse liability for allowing aggressive or sick dogs, and they illegally denied my service dog. They also dont allow dogs to play with toys. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place and choose a safer better place for your dog, and one with rational intelligent honest caring owners and staff.

Probably one of my favorite spots down here. Tons of responsible owners and great drink choices. My favorite part is that it's a very tight community that won't hesitate to remove dogs and members who don't play nice. No need to worry here just kick back and relax while your pup has the time of their lives

This place is just so amazing all the dogs are super friendly everyone is so sweet including management. When you sit down the dogs come and greet you it's just such a nice environment to bring your dog to. I highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place! The "barkyard" is very big and there's a lot of space for the dogs to run around, it's fun for everyone! They have a little water area thats super cute and my dog loves it. I had her 1st birthday pawty and it was so nice! Almost all the dogs are super friendly and she got along with all of them. They also have an area inside which is really nice if you want to relax and have a drink inside. Definitely coming here again!!

This place is great other than the little water area is surrounded by mud so the dogs are covered in mud with no way to properly wash them off. Fake grass surrounding this area would be smart. Also it gets insanely hot, they would really benefit from a covered area and large industrial fans so doggies and humans are more comfortable in 90 degree heat.

The concept is great but ... any dog will have more fun on any public dog park for free, I mean $10 for nothing ! . Poor quality equipment, not value for $30 months membership.

My pups and I love Barkyard and Brews we went for the first time a few months ago after wanting to try it out for the longest time. We fell in love!! Best dog park with friendly dogs and rarely any fights. They have specific rules such as all dogs need to be spayed or neutered , no toys or treats inside the park, and no kids under 12. These may seem like silly rules but it's the reason there are so few fights or quarrels at the park since those are some of the major triggers for public dog parks. My three dogs have the super VIP membership which was worth it because you get a free beer every Thursday and you get 10 free buddy passes so you can bring your friends with their dogs for free. I usually end up making it over there 2-3 times a week so definitely worth it to get the membership. You can also bring/invite friends without dogs and they always love to see all the doggies too. 10/10 recommend to everyone I know.

I wish I didnt have to write this review, as the dog park has potential. But warning to everyone who is considering this establishment: Your dog WILL be mistreated and abused by the park employees. I had been bringing my dog here for a couple months and they have dog park "rangers" who patrol the play area- nice in theory. One of them handles situations correctly with a slight blow horn to break up dogs playing too rough. However a new employee grabbed my dog by the neck and head and YANKED him hard despite my dog not being aggressive in any way. He had a hero complex and did not apologize at all when I asked him why he was being aggressive to my pup. When I brought the issue up with the owner he couldnt care less about the details and proceeded to kick me out for even bringing the issue up. Again- please do not take your dog here if you care about their safety and comfort, customer experience or respect to you even when you give them your money in their membership. There's plenty of other options for dog parks where safety and customer concerns are handled appropriately.

This place is so great! Somewhere you can go out to grab a drink while your pup can socialize too! Atmosphere is chill & brews are tasty. Jessica is my favorite bartender, always attentive & personable. Fantastic place for dog & beer lovers.
