I had lunch here with my family and it was our third visit. The wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the fish & chips had a perfect golden batter, and the burger with blue cheese and thick-cut bacon was a winner. Even the fries were spot-on—crispy outside, soft inside. We also enjoyed some local beers. The “no emails” IPA, shandy and the Saison were all great! Out waitress. Brenna, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and on point with every detail. If you’re in the area and want a solid meal with excellent service, Barley Creek is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
We really enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious! It wasn’t THAT busy (no wait and tables open for a Sunday night), yet it still took a while to get greeted at the table and receive a follow up (after we received our food)…we were missing some sauces with the order. Also, as I’m posting this, I realize that bacon was missing from my burger that is advertised with BACON. As I was eating the burger, I said to myself “this would be better with bacon”. Nevertheless, the server and hostess was friendly and we enjoyed our dishes (despite that they forgot bacon on the burger advertised with bacon). We would definitely come back…maybe it was a bad day for all, but definitely not the best service today.

Pizza and service were great. Beers all seemed a little flat. I got 4 IPAs in a taster tray. I love killer west coast IPAs, these all seemed like they weren’t in the same ballpark. Unfortunately none of them tickled my fancy. But the vibe and ambiance are nice, and servers are good. Great tasty meat-lovers pizza. 🍕

Google
Always love this place, many visits later the food is still very good, the beer plentiful in options that fit any weather and any taste. This was the first time trying something off the brunch menu - the oreo smores, which was FANTASTIC. Basically cookies and cream icream with french toast. Also loved the Bistro Cheesesteak. Brenna, out waitress was fantastic, friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend 👌

Google
I had a beer flight at the bar and some dinner. Wide variety of beers, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. Upscale pub fare and solid list of entrees. Great service, outside seating and Also fire pits available. Looks like there are activities and music some nights. Cans to go at the bottle shop inside the restaurant.

Google
A popular spot in the Poconos 🍔✨. The burgers and chicken sandwich were absolutely delicious, and the pickle fries are a must-try 🥒🍟. Crabcake was so-so, a tad fishy for my taste. For drinks, the rose strawberry mocktail was light and fizzy (more like gently flavored sparkling water), but the peach mocktail was truly delicious 🍑🥂. Pro tip - most entrees come with chips but they can be replaced for house fries which are worth it 😋😋

Stopped by after a day of exploring Big Pocono State Park and zip lining at Camelback Resort. The food is always amazing. Highly recommend the cheesesteak and a pint of the Navigator. My server (shoutout to Emily W.) was great. Very friendly and welcoming and made some great recommendations when I was looking at the beer to go. Thanks Emily and Barley Creek.

Google
I cannot express how great this place was. Rhi and Kim provided excellent service. They gave me excellent beer recommendations which turned out to be spot on. The food was fantastic, I ordered the Barley Creek version of the Turkey Club and it did not disappoint. The food and beer were delivered timely. The food hot and the beer cold. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a mountain town brewery. 10/10 would recommend and return. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this place. Thanks Barley Creek, and thanks to Rhi and Kim for outstanding service.

Yelp
My husband & I rented the patio area for a little get-together for the day after our wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was so affordable and the food was great - as always. Our family has been coming to Barley Creek for over 20 years but this was the first time we had an event there and it was awesome. Barb was very friendly and easy to work with. We would recommend their catering service to anyone.

Yelp
They have a great menu of mouthwatering authentic pub fare, steaks, fresh seafood, pasta, salads, burgers, smoked BBQ specialties, brick oven pizzas, amazing appetizers and so much more. Handcrafted, award-winning ales and lagers brewed are served on site They have an on-site distillery where they brew small batches of vodka, whiskey, rum, gin and other spirits, if you like to relax and have a drink. They also offer a Kids menu and game room to keep everyone happy. They have Pint Size Park & Biergarten, serving up succulent BBQ, frosty drinks, and tons of family fun. I highly recommend this place, if you just want to go for a drink, appetizers or a meal. I went with my two daughters last week when my one daughter came up to visit from Oregon, and we had a few appetizers. We had fried pickles ( first time I ever had them ) my girls love them, served with ranch dressing , a huge pretzel served with a mouth watering honey mustard sauce and we had nachos with pulled pork. Everything was spectacular. Service from Noah was amazing, from the minute we sat down until the minute we left, he made us feel so welcomed. All the workers seemed like they love their job which even made our experience even that much better.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this one. I blame their management. We got sat and our waitress introduced herself. We ordered up drinks and apps. They were out of two of the apps. Drinks arrived quickly. Beer is good. Apps arrive a few minutes later and just thrown on the table by a food delivery person, not our waitress. Garlic knots burned on the bottom and served with a buttery raw garlick mess. Pretzel is old and impossible to eat from the show stopping swinging hoop. Waitress then returns... Out of three entrees. Order entrees and another round of drinks. Half the drink order arrives. Then the food. Again just thrown onto the table by a food server. Not our waitress. Beef of wheck- thick rubbery slabs of some sort of meat. Arby's is way better. Crab cakes burned on the bottom and all filler. Nachos are a sad half pile of stale tortillas. Turkey sandwich blows. Waitress swings on by to "drop off the check!" We had to negotiate that because we never received several drinks. Of course, she would have known that if she had bothered to swing on by to check on us. I opted to lower the tip way down to make up for the lack of service. Oh, it wasn't even that busy in her section. I would go and get beers, but skip the food.

Yelp
All I can say is Fantastic! It was torrential rain and I was freaking out. Their Pint Size Park/Pavilion was beautiful for a venue. But it was pouring Lesley and her team pulled it together before all the guests arrived. Lesley, Candy, Alfonso(Alonzo sorry) and others that I'm sad to say I didn't get their names saved the day. They were professional and friendly. Didn't miss a beat! The bartender was awesome! Beer is great! Now.... Let's talk food. OUTSTANDING! Our guests had an amazing time and left with full bellies and smiles on their faces! Bbq pig was delicious! Also, kielbasa out of this world! I can't say enough! Except THANK YOU for making my husbands 60th birthday party special and memorable

Yelp
This place was super good! Everything was delish. Must visit, beer and food was amazing! And super cute merch before you leave.

Yelp
We recently took a trip to upstate NY and, on our way back, decided to revisit one of our favorite spots. Just like last time, we grabbed seats at the bar and caught the Eagles game, bringing back memories from a year ago. We ordered the delicious pretzel bun chicken sandwich and the taco salad. The taco bowl was well-seasoned and packed with fresh greens and spicy shredded chicken. The service was excellent, with plenty of staff readily available to assist.

Yelp
I really just have to say Awesome. I don't know what else to say about their food, service, and beer. We sorta stumbled across this restaurant on our way to Camelback Resort (which we have been to the resort before) and we will definitely come to eat again since the food, service and just general environment is amazing. We had so many amazing things to eat- one really stands out. Let me talk about that - the short rib mac n' cheese. OMG. If I lived close to here, I would eat it all day everyday. It is very decadent but who cares it is so delicious. The kid's chicken fingers was delicious (yes I ate some of it). Chicken wings were also pretty great. And we also had a chicken sandwich (I think good - not like the mac n' cheese).. French fries yummy. I think the chicken sandwich was pretty good - I just remember my own mac N cheese. The beer selection is great. We tried a few different beers so I'm not sure what you want - I really liked the Rescue IPA. We want to visit again.

Yelp
My family stayed in the Poconos for a long weekend and we came to this brewery/ distillery because my mom's boyfriend has a lot of fond memories here. The ambiance is cute, complaints. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. 5/5 for the employees! The food is just okay. My husband got a cheeseburger which he said was over cooked, I got a pulled pork sandwich which was pretty good but the mac salad that came with it was dry. My mom'a boyfriend got the cheesesteak and he said his meal was excellent, my mom got the crab cake sandwich and she didn't think it was good. I enjoyed my drink. Overall, it was fine. Nothing special.

Yelp
Nice brewery located close to the highway exit for very easy access. Large inside with two bars and tons of seating and tables. There is a little merch shop and alcohol shops in addition to other things you can purchase. We chose to sit at the bar. Service was great. We both got the burger with the egg on it. I did the smash burger and my husband did the angus burger with sweet potato fries. Food was good. My husband liked their IPAs. I tired this local canned cocktail which was good and purchased some to bring home. Dog friendly outside. Can't wait to come back in the summer and experience their outdoor areas.

Yelp
We have eaten at Barley Creek Brewing at least 10 times over the last 15 years. It's always a great experience. The food and drinks are great. The children's menu is decently varied and inexpensive. They also take food allergies seriously. The Nashville chicken sandwich was amazing! We got Antler Brown beer to-go.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally time to leave a review after numerous visits after skiing over the past few years. Great brewpub- many styles of beer, not just IPA's. The bartender answered questions, offered tastes before so settled on the Antler Brown Ale. They also carry beers other than their own. Big bar area, never sat at numerous booths. Menu is fairly diverse; I've only had wings...which are great: big and meaty, properly crisp. I enjoyed the honey hot. Def my #1 apres ski spot.

Yelp
Been to Barley Creek a half dozen or more times over the last twenty years and it's always been an average visit. They have a great location right down the road from Camelback and from the Tannersville Outlet mall. They've since opened up a small location in the outlets, but I've always stopped at the actual brewing company. The inside is very big with bar seating, booths and tables. It's very big inside and there is plenty of room for families and groups. Don't expect much from the beer, although they have many styles on tap, their offerings have always been below average/mediocre. There are other Pocono area breweries that have surpassed them in quality, but with so much distance in between them, Barley Creek enjoys the convenient advantage of being in proximity to tourist areas. On my last visit the wife and I had a server who was training a newbie. She was OK and attentive to our needs. Food wise we ordered a massive soft pretzel with dipping cheese and mustard at $14. We ended up taking most of it home for the kiddos. I had the "award winning" buffalo wings. They were fresh, sauced well and a good portion. For 10 Wings they came in at a $16.50 which is a tad high. My wife had a crab cake sandwich at $19 that she said was fine. Beer wise I had a Tommy's Double Black IPA - 7.8% abv - it had the flavors a black IPA should, but was very balanced and simple where I would prefer more of a hoppy bite to overpower the roasted malt, chocolate malt and coffee flavor. Their Citrabellum DBL IPA 8.2% abv - was sessionable with light pine and plenty of citrusy grapefruit, rindy lemon and orange. Again a simple, sessionable brew, to the style, but very primitive. They have guest brews so the wife was happy to indulge in some Victory Golden Monkey's at $5 a 10oz pour. You can order a flight, fill a growler, crowler and they have cans to go. They have around 18 house beers on tap in quite a few styles. They also have some spirits from their own distillery and lots of Barley Creek gear drinkware/hats/hoodies/glassware for sale in the gift shop. The candles they had for sale had a few aromas the wife enjoyed so they came home with us. It's always an OK visit to Barley Creek if we're in the area.

Yelp
Three little girls under five, and three adults. We all had good food and a fine time. Great nachos to start for all: good guacamole and loaded with chicken and more. Kids enjoyed pizza and chicken and perfectly cooked side of broccoli. Adults enjoyed pizza, burger, great salad. Good drinks, beer, very nice servers. It is a large place with a good Poconos vibe. Made our Saturday evening a really good one.

Yelp
This was a very cute homely spot, their team is absolutely kind and so fun!! They have so many spirit options and beers too! The food was good but not enough flavor or seasoning, I would definitely recommend their chicken Alfredo!!

Yelp
This place caught our eye on the start of our vaca and when it was time to leave we thought it was worth a 'detour' in an attempt to kill time for this one fireworks store to (finally) open. PA seems to have an overabundance of these places that my home state just can't seem to do (right)... the "all-in-one" - brewing their own beer (and/or distillery for the harder stuff), making great food (pizza oven right there kind of in the middle of the place!), outside with the foosball table as well as a fire-pit (PA loves their darn fire-pits, huh?!), family-friendly but still rocking multiple bars throughout the homey rustic building-compound. Our server - aces. So sweet and helpful when I had a slew of questions and requests (regarding their line of spirits). Food - really good, more than fairly priced (especially after being fleeced by the resort we were staying at up the road). Booze - found myself buying a random assortment of their various creations (some to give away, some to enjoy) and the few I got to try (gin, peanut butter-infused whiskey) I enjoyed. (One of my kids asked me to explain what moonshine is which detoured into bootlegging and 'bathtub gin' and... well, it was confounding.) Everything did seem to take a bit too long (hey, the place was packed - I get it) and it was incredibly loud (specifically a family with three young girls that the parents had zero control of - I get it) - but we were fans that would definitely come back here if we were in this neck of the woods again.

Yelp
Here's a review based on your feedback: --- **Restaurant Review: Barley Creek Brewing** I recently dined at Barley Creek Brewing and had an exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, particularly thanks to Noah, who was attentive and knowledgeable throughout our meal. The menu offered a wide variety, ensuring everyone in our group found something to enjoy. The food was well-prepared, and even minor mistakes were quickly and efficiently corrected. To top it off, the dessert was amazing. Overall, Barley Creek Brewing provided a memorable dining experience with great food and top-notch service. We also appreciated the outdoor seating. It completed our dining experience. We will be back.

Yelp
We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the pavilion at barley creek and it was great! The staff was so friendly and attentive to anything we needed. The pricing was reasonable and the food was always kept filled. The guys loved playing the games! It was the perfect venue for us. We highly recommend!

Yelp
Mac. And. Cheese. Beer is ok. Food is soooo much better than the resort up the road. Reccomend making the trip

Yelp
Came here after a full day at Camelback. We were promptly seated without reservations. There were a lot of people here on a Friday evening. My boyfriend ordered wings and I had a salad with crispy chicken. Food came out quick and fast. Will be back.

Yelp
We came here during a recent stay at Great Wolf Lodge. This is a great spot for a family dinner. Its spacious and can accommodate larger groups. Very kid friendly too. We enjoyed the wings, burger, fries and salad. But everything was delicious. They have a good variety of cocktails and beer.

Yelp
Everything! Our waiter was fantastic, Rhiannon you rock! She was funny, informative, pleasant........ you name it she just rocked. Our food was just right, we got flights and we're not disappointed, between us we liked them all! ( I like some that hubby didn't and vice versa, but all in all great) place was still set for Halloween, just the right amount for my taste.overall check them out !!!!

Yelp
Barley Creek Brewing Company is a haven in the heart of the Poconos. Their diverse beer selection is a treat for any aficionado. The spicy pickle appetizer had just the right kick, and the margarita pizza was a perfect blend of flavors. The ambiance is cozy, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

Yelp
Great relaxed spot where we were able to enjoy dinner and drinks on a family get together. Their outdoor patio offers a number of games, picnic tables, and even an area for roasting s'mores. They had a good truck set up and courts for tennis/pickle ball and softball. The beer was tasty and they also had an adjacent restaurant if you wanted a larger food menu and to eat inside. We enjoyed this stop!

Yelp
12/3/22 First time here yesterday and apparently this is right near camelback ski resort. We ducked in here for lunch- on my friends recommendation. This is a brewery and I think my husband would enjoy it here. They have lots of growlers at all different price points. The menu isn't cheap by any means. I think 18$ for macaroni and cheese is a bit steep. My friend ordered a side of it and I did try some and it was delicious! I tried the wood fired pizza- the margarita specialty for 14.50. The crust was buttery, garlicky delicious and wood fired crisp and not burnt. I REALLY enjoyed it. I had just come off a really poor dining experience at another place so I was reluctant to be too adventurous here. The server was nice enough but absent a lot. She walked by our table multiple times and didn't bother to check on us (she was not busy either)- in fact the restaurant was not busy. I hated our table too- half booth half chairs and you couldn't eat the meal close to the table on the booth side- there was like a 10" gap or something. I would be likely to go back for husband to try the beers. It had a beautiful ski- Christmas- rustic feel to it. One think I liked that took me by surprise was the clear spot of flooring in the small gift shop that enabled one to see the brew tanks. Pretty cool.

Yelp
Stopped here randomly while driving through the Poconos. Needed a good lunch and was avoiding fast food at all costs, and boy was I pleased with my choice! The inside had a really cool ski lodge / brewery vibe, the staff was great, and past Yelp reviews led me to try the beer cheese soup and pulled pork sandwich - both amazing! Would definitely try it again if I'm in the area!

Yelp
We decided to give this place a try for dinner. We first got seated at a high top in the bar area. We got our menus and water but the waiter/bar tender never came back. We ended up moving into the main dining area and our waitress was so sweet and ver apologetic. We got a free pretzel for the trouble and had a pretty good dinner. Would stop back when in the area and maybe sit outside this time.

Yelp
Barley Creek definitely seems like the place to be in the area. We went on a Friday Night, and the huge parking lot was packed. Upon entering, we were told there would be about a 40 minute wait. This was not a problem since we were a group of 9. We were able to hangout near one of the bars and order some drinks and appetizers while waiting for our table to be ready. Once our table was ready, we were seated at a few high top tables put together. There were plenty of TVs around with all different things on each one. The atmosphere was definitely lively, but wasn't too loud. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks, and the prices are about what you would expect for the area. The service was also good.
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
Barley Creek is one of the big food/drink spots in this are. There's a huge parking lot that was pretty full on a Friday night. When we got there we had to wait about 40 minutes for a table for 9. While waiting we were able to sit at one of the two bars and order drinks/appetizers Overall, the food was 5 stars, there's plenty of beer options, plenty of TVs to watch sports, and the bartender/waitresses were pleasant

Yelp
Birthday celebration is not complete without passing by to a local brewery. It is the celebrant's trip, trying out a local beer. We get inside not to dine but to take a sip so the bar is the best seat for us. The boys enjoyed their brown ale and brought home a growler filled with it. Inside is a cute gift shop with clear ground floor showing the microbrewery tanks. Sadly, we did not have enough time to see a production rolling. Staff is nice and accommodating.
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Large brewery with lots of seating. We were a group of 10, but they were still able to sit us quickly and were accommodating when we shifted the table around so we could have a better seating arrangement. Our waiter Angel was incredible! Helpful and attentive but also a cool guy to talk to a joke with - we'd all come back just to see him again! Half of our group got cocktails - they seemed too sweet to me, but my friends loved them. I ordered 2 different beers during our meal, both of which were decent. The pierogis were delicious! I also go the margarita pizza as my entre. It was a little disappointed with it, but overall it was fine. I'd come back here and try something different next time.
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and I will be back. We went on a Friday night and were sat right away. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. She checked in on us a lot. The place seemed busy for what seemed to be their off season. They had plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I got the iron arm wheat beer and my boyfriend got the navigator golden ale. Both were really good. For our food, I got the half portion of fish and chips. It was a perfect size for me to finish. It came with one large piece of fried haddock and homemade fries. My boyfriend got the piggy burger and finished it instantly. Both were delicious! I would definitely recommend trying it and we will absolutely be going back
google avatar

Yelp
We enjoyed food and drinks at the bar and loved the atmosphere on a Friday night. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and accommodating as a large group of us joined the bar. The beers are a must try - I enjoyed the lemon shandy, my partner enjoyed the wheat beer, and my other friends loved the cider. We also got some late night bites and to quote my friend "this pizza is Devine!" Loved our experience here and would absolutely recommend stopping by. Also be sure to check out the Barleys Brewtique for some souvenirs like T-shirt's, glassware and even dog accessories.

Yelp
Hubby and I came here because food pics looked good on Yelp! 1st) it took a minute for server to greet us, but no big deal on that, she was nice. 2nd) Drinks were very good, I ordered Cosmo, hubby ordered Smoked Old Fashion. 3rd) I ordered French Onion Soup & Fish n Chips; Soup was good very tasty, Fish was Frozen dried out and over cooked, got Two pieces should've just got the 1 piece, they were out of Fries so I got the Mac n Cheese , it was disgusting! It "looked" really good but the noodles overcooked which made it mushy, too much cheese and zero flavor. Hubby ordered Gyro with chips. We have ate many many Gyros throughout our lives and in several other states besides Pa, This was the WORST Gyro Ever. The meat and the pita bread was Burnt. Hubby said the cook has to be a Gyro Chump cause it was Bad, shouldn't be served. Sorry won't return to this spot!

Meagan A.

Yelp
I've gone multiple times and never had such horrible service as we had 7/6/24. Drinks were half filled, asked waitress about it and she told us everything is premixed. Premixed to equal half a drink??? For $14? Waitress seemed annoyed when we asked about the fact that one of our meals was supposed to come in a bread bowl and it didn't. She did remedy the bread bowl issue but it was a disappointing visit.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
This is the dinner place you are looking for! Get the giant pretzel you won't regret it. Great alcohol selection as well as some special mixed drinks. Our food was hot, fresh, and super tasty. We got the chickenn and waffles and smokehouse mac and cheese which we would both highly recommend. There is an assortment of higher priced entrees as well as averages priced sandwiches which I appreciated. I think everything on the menu would've been great, I'll definitely be back. The place is huge and cozy. Great bar area, but also a nice back seating area (inside or outside). Service was awesome too!

Mrs T.

Yelp
Hostess wouldn't sit us at a booth bc she said it was not open, then 5 mins later sat people at the booth we asked for. Gluten free QR code didn't work and they were out of gf menus. Food Bland , quite tasteless. Soup came, then 3 minutes after the main courses arrived. Still all meal were tasteless. And the beef was stiff, over heated. I don't recommend. But your waiter Mady was great. Only saving Grace to this place was the sever. She was top quality

Ben S.

Yelp
AWESOME FOOD, SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE . For dinner we Had the Flat bread peach appetizer , crab cakes , French fries with old bay and the fish and chips , really Amazing !!!

Yelp
The burger was excellent and the fries were good. Decent ambience at lunch and the service was good if not great. Convenient parking and clean restrooms.

Yelp
The loaded tots and the wings were hands down the best I had in a while! My fiancée and I came here after going to the gun rage and it did not disappoint! I had their angler black cider which tasted good and not too sweet which was a plus. Our waitress was really nice and the service was quick. The inside was nice and there's also a shop if you want souvenirs. I will be back again.

Yelp
I've been here many, many times over the past 2-3 years and the food has steadily declined. Initially it was awesome - I'd eat there 2-3 times in a week when I was visiting the area. Then it was sort of passable - something's ok and others not. Now it's downright inedible. The fish/meat is weird. Pasta so overcooked it's like mush. Salads are bland with bits of brown lettuce. It's basically bad cafeteria food now. The beer is great. Space is great, staff is awesome but sadly, I'm officially done with Barley Creek. Updating after business response - I appreciate the response. Actually I've been to 1818 and it's fantastic! Really I love you guys and I really hope the food improves. I know how good it can be.

Yelp
Very yummy meal. Big pretzel was very yummy and huge! Got the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans which was delicious. Drinks were very yummy. Got the pot roast sandwich which was slightly over cooked and tough but other than that very yummy meal!

Yelp
Barley Creek Brewing Company is a craft brewpub and distillery that opened in Tannersville, Pennsylvania in December 1995. It was founded by husband and wife Joseph "Trip" and Eileen Ruvane. Trip had experience as a ski instructor, golf caddie, and guest event coordinator at local resorts before he decided to get into the hospitality business. He and his wife decided to open a brewery: the first of its kind in the Poconos area since Prohibition. The brewery was built with a traditional Pennsylvania timber-frame barn raising. The secret disclosed by Ruvane behind crafting unique beer and spirits is a revitalized water source. Barley Creek houses 700 artesian wells on their property, which fuels 70 gallons of water per minute that are locally sourced by a Pocono Mountain spring water lake. Each year Barley Creek produces over 40 different ales and lagers as well as specialty craft vodkas, whiskeys, rums, brandy, gins, flavored moonshines, tequila, and canned cocktails. The food menu offers burgers, sandwiches, wraps, brick oven pizza, comfort food dishes, soups, salads, and various bar bites. My family and I visited Barley Creek last weekend while we were having a relaxing getaway in the Poconos. We arrived for dinner one evening. The place seemed to be packed with the local ski crowd. Although we were told there was a 45-minute wait, we were seated in 15 minutes. To drink, I decided to order a beer flight which consisted of their Winterfest Lager, Wanderlust Chocolate Porter, "Nothing Inappropriate" (New England IPA), and "Citrabellum" (Double IPA). Although IPAs tend to be my favorite, I felt that their Winterfest was the best offering that I sampled. For food, we started off with a plate of their Garlic Parm Pierogis which quickly disappeared. My wife and I then split two pizzas: the "Margherita" and the "Chicken Parm". Although the Margherita had fresh tasting ingredients, the sauce was just a little too sweet for our taste. We enjoyed the toppings on the Chicken Parm and both pies had nice crispy crust. Our son enjoyed a "Kids Pizza" off of the Kids Menu. Before leaving, I ordered their "Smoked Old Fashioned" (Barley Creek whiskey, apple/hickory wood smoke served in a decanter, with rocks glass, ice sphere, bitters, orange peel, amareno cherry). It gave a big puff of smoke when it was served to me and it was so flavorful! There's something for everyone at Barley Creek!

Yelp
Very good " loaded " cheesesteak. The sandwich was loaded with chipped steak !!!!!! The potato chips were nice and salty also.

Yelp
Stopped by while road-tripping to Ithaca. Great, friendly customer service. The place has a cozy feel to it and there are a lot of cool things to see spread throughout the restaurant such as the pinball machines and live social media likes counter display. I tried the French dip sandwich which came with pickles and chips. My dip was thick and filled with meat. It was well made! Not the best I've had but definitely hit the spot. This place is a great food option for the area.

Yelp
Promptly seated as it was somewhat early around 6:00 PM. Server was pleasant and took out drink order right away. Menu consists of strictly pub food so if you're not looking for a moderately priced kid friendly place look elsewhere. Food a smoke turkey sandwich for me with fries ( extra) and fish and chips for my wife were good typical pub fare.

Yelp
We stopped in here as a quick place to eat before we headed back to the city. Food: It's not the best place for a vegetarian person. There is all the usual appetizer choices that are always available but there wasn't a lot of entree variety. I ended up getting the buffalo cauliflower bites. They weren't what I expected. It was under seasoned and the sauce was too sour. They also had friend zucchini but even that was bland. Service: Everyone was very friendly and nice. We were a big group of 8 people but she was very patient with us and all of our questions. The drinks came out quickly and she checked in on us and gave us updates when food took awhile to come out. Ambiance: I loved the decor and the vibe. It was a huge place but definitely had a small town vibe which I love. They had a really nice outdoor set up as well. Overall, it felt like pit stop food.

Yelp
A lot to like and also some things not to like. We came here on a Sunday night and maybe they weren't expecting much of a crowd. Might have been undermanned in the back, not sure. Anyway I thought the menu was ambitious for the Poconos but it worked. Only problem was the food was inconsistent. One order of fries was fine the other was soggy. One burger was a fine medium the other was almost raw. The things that were prepared correctly were really good though. The tacos were really nice and I was really pleasantly surprised at how good the Nashville chicken sandwich was. Beer was pretty standard for a brew pub, relaxed atmosphere and cool decor. It was pretty cold but I could see this place being great on a hot summer night.

Yelp
The service was great and though I came here looking to love the flights of beer tasting my way through the menu, the real surprise was loving the food. The Big Pocono Nachos were the biggest surprise -- WARM TORTILLA CHIPS, SMOTHERED WITH OUR WARM JALAPEÑO QUESO CHEESE SAUCE, LETTUCE, TOMATOES, ONIONS, BLACK OLIVES, PICKLED JALAPEÑOS, SOUR CREAM & SALSA. With pulled pork and guacamole they were perhaps the best nachos I have ever had, and the portion was huge! Big enough to be an entire dinner for two people, so beware on that front. For the main course, I had the brisket sandwich -- BARLEY CREEK SMOKED BRISKET TOPPED WITH TANGY BBQ SAUCE AND HOUSEMADE COLESLAW SERVED ON A BRIOCHE ROLL. The brisket was more thinly sliced than I would have expected but it still worked out good. The beer was enjoyable too and on the way out I had to purchase some of their honey whiskey to take home as well. For what seems to be the weekends they have what is called The Morning Toast. For a dinner that worked out so well, I ended up trying that too. Ordering a NICE TO MEAT YOU OMELET (For the carnivores! Bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon and cheddar cheese. Served with seasoned potatoes and toast) I was satisfied, but the main attraction here is outside of breakfast hours for sure.

Yelp
Very slow service. We ordered apps and didn't even have napkins on the table. The food was very mediocre. Two of us had the 2oz smash burgers and the burgers were burnt. No flavor. The wings were not cooked well. We ordered honey mustard sauce to dip the fries and the sauce was straight mustard. The only good things were the fries and the beers.
