Barley Sprout Restaurant

Really friendly service. I wanted to love it. Seemed community oriented with live music at times and a large projector screen. The salad was good if a bit basic (a head of lettuce cut into quarters with 2 pickled asparagus and a couple pickled carrots). The pizza (gluten free and vegetarian) was just horrible. The crust was both raw and burnt at the same time. How?? Possibly the non gluten free pizza is amazing. The pictures other folks posted looked delicious, but sadly we ordered two different pizzas and a lot went into the compost.

First time here & it was DELICIOUS! I'm allergic to tomato sauce & they accommodated us with a garlic oil sauce instead! We had a large half Hawaiian half pepperoni/mushroom pizza with extra cheese. Awesome aesthetic to the restaurant, very chill vibes. Will return and would definitely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic pizza, super tasty beer brewed in house and the staff is super kind!!!! They also have a fantastic lunch special too! Seriously though, I've never had crust made from sourdough, so gooooood! Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

We went here for dinner a couple of nights ago. The live music was so loud you could barely hear people talk across the table. The veggie pizza was supposed to have spinach on it but instead it was just sat on top of the pizza, completely uncooked. The wait for a single pizza was 80 minutes from the time of ordering. We brought our friends there and were completely embarrassed we did. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Overall terrible experience.

We've been here twice. The first time was pre-pandemic, sat down and got a pepperoni pizza for the kids while we were out and about. It was so good I got one to go. We finally made it back, and got one to go. This time we got their special vegan one that had a white bean "Alfredo" sauce, mushrooms, onions, olives, and vegan cheese. Honestly this might be one of the better pizzas I've ever had. We got it because my wife's vegan, but I'd go back and get it myself, vegan or not. They're a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality. As long as this special's around I highly recommend it, and if not it sounds like they have vegan cheese you can sub regularly on any pizza. Oh and they also let me do curbside pickup, which with kids is amazing and really appreciated.

With no shortage of pizza places around this one is an absolute MUST. Hands down best I have had in the Gresham area. I had The Smiths Favorite w/ added sausage. The crust was thin and so perfectly crispy. Pizza perfectly baked and the portions of fresh ingredients were just right.

Super good beer on draft, many different pizza options. Can’t wait to come back and try some more. The chef was even kind and brought us complimentary kale salad . Craving that right now lol
