"A concise menu of classic German styles such as a Helles or Hefeweizen pair well with gambling and dining at this brew pub/Brewer's Cafe. Dine in with a half rack of ribs or steak tacos or take growlers to go." - Janna Karel

My niece and I ate at Barley's Brewer Cafe today and it didn't disappoint. She had the chicken tenders. They smelled wonderful she said they were really good and they're very large as you can see. I had the turkey club and I chose coleslaw. You can get potato salad or french fries if you wish and it was absolutely delicious. They also have great breakfast I've had those the eggs were just right the potatoes were just right and the coffee is good. The staff is always very friendly they always have a smile they are constantly asking you if you need anything and act as though they really like their job. It is truly always a great experience when I go there.

The last time I had been to Barley's before 11 March 2024 was right after COVID. And wow, has Barley's ever done downhill! Here are the downsides from my recent visit: 1. They only have pint glasses now. They use to have 20oz, 32oz, pitchers, and growlers. 2. For the 10 years I lived in Vegas, they only had their craft beers on tap. Now they have a bunch of normal beers. Feels cheap now. At least they still have a few of their crafts. 3. I know there has been some inflation, but wow, have the food portions and options shrunk. $5 use to get you a heaping burger and fries. $13 now gets you what feels like half as much. 4. My burger, somehow, was a little burnt but half was medium and half well-done. 5. The parmesan cheese shaker was dented. I know this isn't that big of a deal, but it's a reflection of what Barley's is now. 6. A cockroach joined is for lunch. On the plus side, the pizza is still delicious. We did put the order in before 11, but we didn't get it until 11:37am, so if you're planning on pizza, there may be a wait. It could have been because there was only one waitress working the whole casino and bar. I, still, even gambled a little bit while I was there, and I regret it not because I lost, but because Barley's has gone so far downhill. I didn't even complain because I don't think management would have cared. I'm worried a place that held a special place in my heart will be a dumpster fire from now on. As long as they don't have the large mugs, I'll never go back.

It's a small place, usually not too busy when our family goes for early dinner or lunch after church. The menu is simple, homestyle food, decent portion sizes and prices, and it is always clean. Employees are friendly and ask how your day has been.

Way to no longer have the best deal for locals. My boyfriend and I have been regulars for about a decade now and Barley's has always felt like "home". They have the sweetest servers, who know our orders by heart and are always a pleasure to see. The food and drinks are consistently quality and a great value. However, one of the biggest draws was the 32oz draft special - which, we found out is no longer available. We recently stopped in and ordered our regular Hefes, and our server came with a regular 16oz draft (FOR THE SAME PRICE!!!) She even apologized and said that many of her other local customers have threatened to stop coming since the change was made. It is really disappointing because it feels like the decision came from higher ups who care only about growing their bottom line and couldn't care less for the locals who are in their establishment day in and day out. RIP to the last true locals spot in Vegas. PT's here we come...

Definitely hate the all digital slots everywhere & lack of staff stinks. Food is nowhere to be found late night. Drinks are weak and not the same at all. I used to enjoy the local feel, but now everything is restricted and cold. I’ll pass! So disappointed in the new place. Has that strip feel.

The slots are loose enough on the weekdays, but on the weekends it's almost like this casino goes by the old rules of tourism! Furthermore the employees, especially the night security could most definitely benefit from some sort of kindness counseling or maybe even a course in proper business etiquette. In 13 years I have rarely experienced a situation such as this, but it seems it is more common than I was privey to. It was later in the evening, twords the end of the week. I was there with my husband. We had eaten a nice meal at the restaurant, then we went to play our usual free play & we had another $50 each for whatever.Well I had already spent $30 of my $50 when I decided to freshen up a bit so I went to use the restroom.Upon leaving the restroom I was approached by a security officer and asked for my 🆔.When I asked why was it now being requested as I was leaving the restroom and not while I was playing the guy commented very rudely"that I had not been playing the machines,as a matter of fact he was sure I wouldn't even have been able to afford a bottle of water from this establishment,"!Those weren't his exact words but none the less he was apparently insinuating I was a vagrant or worse. Naturally I retaliated!Just as I usually would in these situations. So of course it escalated to the point of my being kicked out!Now my husband & I have lived in the area for nearly 13-15 years. He & his father lived within blocks of where we live for 5-7 years prior to that. His mother, brother & several family members have come from Alaska on several occasions for visits. My mother and 4 of my 6 siblings have all come from out of town for visits all on separate occasions, all of which we brought to Barleys to get a small taste of the gambling scene or to the restaurant for a bite, or for specific sports events for the benefit of the big screens and the fact that there's more than 1 of them. It's sad to admit that will no longer be happening. I was treated with such disrespect that my husband had half a mind to involve our lawyer, (mostly because I am a disabled 44 year old woman of smaller stature and it was late at night and I was forced outside alone with no way of contacting him,)none the less we have not simply because us taking away the benefits of our money from this establishment is sufficient to me.

was headed to my usual sushi place next-door (TOP sushi) but decided for something different. Based on the reviews it looked like a really good place and I was definitely not disappointed. My server Autumn was awesome…she was very helpful in giving tips on what to drink and eat and provided me to samplers of the red rock & honey blonde before I made my choice (both were very good…wound up getting the honey blonde). My prime rib was very good, the string beans and baked potato sides were cooked very well… the meat was medium but she had told me that they had already cut it like that so it wasn’t a surprise. The side salad which was extra was also very good… Red onions tomatoes and croutons made for a nice mix. The chocolate molten lava cake was very very good… Warm bread with cold ice cream made for a great mixture. All in all a very great eating experience definitely will be coming back…
