Very homey and classic brunch vibes! They don’t take reservations so we put our name down for a party of 8. For a Sunday morning our wait time was 40 minutes which is reasonable given the time of day and our party size. We shared the mini crab cakes with the table which was so delicious! I got the fried green tomato eggs Benedict for my entree which was also great. The tomatoes were used in replacement of English muffins but I liked it. I also tried the cinnamon bun and we shared the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast with the table which was a big hit for everyone. Overall it was a great meal and a great way for us to end our beach weekend.

Google
We enjoyed this place. Drinks were great. I had the Captain Crunch French toast and the homemade cinnamon roll. The French toast was average but the roll was fantastic. We also had the egg white omelet which was rubbery and not great. Açaí bowl was still frozen. Service was great. Nice location and they are very friendly. I would definitely go back and give it another try.

Google
Absolutely phenomenal breakfast. I didn't get a chance to try any other meals there, but I look forward to doing so on future trips. The staff was some of the best ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Highly recommend you add this to your Ocean City trip. The wait time can be a little long, but I assure you that it is worth the wait.

The food was amazing, the mocktails were great and very refreshing. This is definitely the spot to go to for brunch anytime you go down to OCMD. Our waitress Becky was sooo nice when we went there, she really went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Everyone in the restaurant was pleasant and the atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. Only downside was the table sizes, they aren’t very spacious for the party of 5 I went with. Besides that this place was amazing.

Google
Me and my boyfriend have been coming here since 2021. This is my 5th year with him going there. Rodney has always been amazing with us. He remembers us every year. The food is always AMAZING. They have the best mimosas. The servers have been there for some time too, and they are always amazing. We appreciate places like this. Very welcoming atmosphere, always clean, fast service and great people. Thank you guys so much for having us all these years!

Google
My family and I used to frequent this location every year, back when it was a Christmas store. Since we all descended on OC again after 25 years, we wanted to visit an old haunt with a new purpose. Each morning we would see the line wrapped around the front porch. We placed our names on the wait-list and after roughly 35 minutes, we had a table for 5. Our server was very knowledgeable about the location's history and the specials of the day. The meals we ordered were wonderful (albeit a misunderstanding on our part in that the soft-shell-crab-benedict is not just crab meat, but an entire blue crab on a muffin, topped with a perfectly poached egg) Our server was accommodating to our error and replaced the crab with ham and sausage. We will definitely be back during our next trip to OC.

Google
BARN 34 ABSOLUTELY REDEEMED MY TRIP! After a rough restaurant experience elsewhere, we came here and everything was incredible. I got the crab cake Benedict (10/10…fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked) and the crab balls app (SO good). The home fries were crispy and seasoned just right. What really made it though? OUR SERVER WAS AMAZING….so friendly, attentive, and kind, even though they were busy. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in without hovering. You can tell this place cares about both the food and the customer experience. Highly reccomend…we’ll def be back the next time we come to OC! Thank you to Meagan our server!!

Google
To start off, they had some good ol' classic rock playing outside to entertain us while we waited for a table. The place was absolutely packed but the workers were hustling. At first, they give you these little water cups that are neat, but not practical. However, upon me saying that I would need a lot more water, our waitress brought me an entire margarita pitcher with a kid's straw in it. 😂 As for the food, it was delicious. Unique options and even though the vibe comes across more as a trendy brunch spot, they don't skimp on the portions. I liked that the bacon was crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside, not just completely crunchified like at most places. I also liked the grits, but the real stars are the chicken & waffles and the Cap'n Crunch French toast.

Yelp
Had dinner on a Friday...and then breakfast Sunday morning! Always several specials available. Great place, and a nice standout from the usual OC spots and chains.

Yelp
Barn 34 was amazing!!! From the minute we walked inside we were greeted with a warm smile and amazing breakfast smells! We were here For my mom's birthday and they made her feel special the entire time. Speaking of specials, Along with an extensive menu, there were @ 8 additional specials (the pumpkin pancakes were a special). The coffee was fresh and so flavorful ! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is super cute and nicely decorated for Halloween !! My friend and I ordered pumpkin pancakes with a pumpkin mousse--- they were absolutely delicious! Our waiter Jason listed a ton of awesome sounding specials but we went for the Beach Babe burrito. Maybe we should have tried another special because the burrito was stuffed mostly with seasoned chorizo, not much peppers or eggs. I enjoyed trying the two hot sauces. My apple cider drink was yummmmy! I had it without alcohol. Would definitely come back to try more! Also, in the off season we did not have to wait :)

Yelp
Barn 34 is a family owned American restaurant that is well known for their breakfast. You can find them on Coastal Hwy between 34th and 35th St. They are open Sun - Mon 8:00AM - 1:30PM and Tue - Sat 8AM - 9PM. When looking at breakfast/brunch restaurants I always look for something unique. Bacon and eggs get boring after a while. This place has seafood Benedicts, waffle and French toast specialties, as well as, skillets and acai bowls. I ended up ordering one of their specials; lobster Benedict. It's made with lobster, poached eggs, and hollandaise. Every bite was melt in your mouth delicious! If you enjoy Benedicts, this dish is a must try! Lobster Benedict - 8.3 Food - 8.3 Service - 8.2 Value - 8.2 Restaurant score - 82

Yelp
August 2024 review Customer service - 5 out of 5 (Sarah S. was the best) Wait time - 4 out of 5 Atmosphere - 4 out of 5 Cleanliness - 4 out of 5 Food quality - 4 out of 5 First things first, if you're lucky enough to have Sarah S. as your waitress at Barn 34, consider yourself fortunate! Not only did she provide us with exceptional customer service, but her extensive knowledge of the menu truly impressed us. Sarah recommended specials and made sure the kitchen staff was aware of our son's food allergies. Kudos to Sarah for her outstanding dedication to her craft! Now, let's dive into the dining experience at Barn 34. While the Beach Babe burrito left something to be desired, the overall food quality was excellent, and portion sizes were generous. Highlights: 1. Angel Food French Toast: Prepare to be transported to breakfast heaven! This dish was my favorite - light, fluffy, and incredibly filling. The fresh fruits complemented the Angel Food Cake perfectly. 2. Crab Oscar: My wife thoroughly enjoyed this dish, and the flavors didn't disappoint. 3. BYO Omelette: According to my son, the omelette was one of the best he's ever tasted. The Not-So-Great: - Beach Babe Burrito: Unfortunately, this burrito fell flat. The lukewarm interior lacked flavor variation, and even the sour cream and green salsa couldn't salvage it. I recommend skipping this one. - Home Fries Toppings: It was just okay... Beware - adding onions and peppers to your home fries comes with an unexpected $1.50 charge ($0.75/ea). Just a heads-up! Other Observations: - Parking: Finding a spot can be challenging due to limited parking. - Wait Time: Despite being told a 45-minute wait, we ended up waiting over an hour. However, the experience was worth it. - Cleanliness: While the interior and exterior seemed clean, we encountered unwelcome ants crawling on the wall during our meal. Overall Assessment: - Score: 21 out of 25 stars - Grade: B - Verdict: I recommend Barn 34 for breakfast. Just be prepared for popularity-related wait times and parking challenges. And definitely skip the Beach Babe burrito!

Yelp
I recommend getting there right before they open if you don't want to wait for a table. My family and I arrived about five minutes before opening and there was already a line out the door. Luckily we were able to snag one of the last tables upstairs. We started off with a cinnamon roll for the table. It was huge and very sweet! For entrees we ordered the two egg breakfast and captain crunch French toast. Portions here are huge. The home fries had a lot of flavor and were perfectly done. The French toast is deep fried and very heavy. My fiancé was only able to eat two pieces in a sitting and had to take the rest to go. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Definitely a new favorite in OC!

Yelp
Decent breakfast, fair price, no view, friendly service, get the cinnamon roll! This is a very typical tourist restaurant. The food was tasty but not great. The service was super friendly and attentive. The ambiance was comfortable and cozy. The coffee was pretty good, the breakfast potatoes, not so much.

Yelp
We went their for dinner and it was not crowded at all. We had a couple of side salads which were fresh and their house balsamic vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. The chicken tender my kids had were standard, nothing too special. I was disappointed because I wanted the glazed salmon, but they were out. However my burger was a special of the day called the cowboy burger and it was really tasty. It was cooked well. It came with a really delicious onion ring and bacon that was very tasty. My wife's burger was standard and a bit overcooked, but still flavorful. The fries were shoestring style, tasty but unremarkable. The server we had was super friendly and engaging. We'll likely return to try their breakfast.

Yelp
Lemme just say this: the food, drinks, and service was good. Only "complaint" I would have about the food is that the French toast was tough to eat. The flavor was there, but it was a little hard. Everything was phenomenal though. Now my biggest gripe is the space. I know it's Ocean City, and most restaurants are designed in a smaller scale, but this was cramped. I'm a bigger gal, and short, so the seats I was on were high and tiny with little table space. I struggled not gonna lie. This won't deter me from returning, but next time I'll make a reservation and request a normal table.

Yelp
We came here at 10:30am during a festival weekend. The line was long but moved fast. The service and food were excellent and they had a very long list of breakfast specials that morning. My partner got the cinnamon bun French toast and said it was close to the best French toast he'd ever had. Service was excellent as well.

Yelp
We did Barn 34 for Mother's Day this year! This restaurant does not take reservations for brunch, so be prepared to wait a little. But it is worth the wait! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our food and drinks came out fast, and everything was delicious. We started off by getting the grapefruit and regular mimosas. They were excellent with a healthy amount of champagne. The coffee was just average diner coffee and was a little bitter. We then got the fried green tomato and pimento cheese appetizer from the specials menu. The Pimento cheese was a little bit creamier than I prefer, but the fried green tomatoes were delicious, and the flavors were great. We did put the bacon jam on the side as a personal preference. I had the blueberry pancake short stack, which was still a huge portion! The blueberries were fresh, and they were delicious. My mom ordered the hangover with a biscuit, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. This is a huge portion and could easily be shared by two people. Overall I think this is a great option for bunch and I highly recommend it! Also, the staff gave my mom a rose for Mother's Day, which I thought was very sweet.

Yelp
We went before Oceans Calling and it was packed! People waiting outside sitting on hay barrels! The cider drinks in season were lovely! My avocado toast was awesome as well. It was such a cute place with 2 floors and great servers...we highly recommend here if you're in the area!!! Xoxo

Rachel N.

Yelp
Every time I come to Barn 34, I am not disappointed ! Not only was Megan, our server, super knowledgable about the specials off the top of her head, but the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. All staff were super personable & friendly. Normally I get the signature Captain Crunch Toast but Megan convinced me to get the Angel cake special. If you like a sweet breakfast like me, this was a nice change of pace and still satisfied the craving! This place is always crowded but the seating doesn't make you feel that way. Only con is parking. Definitely get here at 8AM to get a close parking spot because they are limited.

Yelp
What a great breakfast place! I got the Cap'n Crunch French Toast, my wife got an omelette and my daughter ordered a special; Angel Food Cake French Toast. Everything was fresh and tasty. Oh, and our waitress was excellent! An excellent stop for breakfast or lunch!

Yelp
**FOOD SAFETY ISSUE** Everything was great until I bit into a literal piece of METAL (with rust) in my ice cream. This was a pickup order so I called the restaurant back immediately after it happened - I was transferred to what I assume was the manager / owner possibly? The whole time he was acting like he didn't really believe me and didn't offer to comp the ticket - just the single dish that the metal was in. In my experience, a good restaurant would normally comp the entire order for something like this. I'm left feeling super grossed out and sick to my stomach. Not happy with the experience at all. I insisted on sending in a picture of the piece of metal, but he never took me up on it once - ignored every time. I even asked what it possibly could have been to get some peace of mind at least, and he totally brushed it off saying it might have been a piece of the ice cream scooper acting like it was no big deal. It is a big deal, it was gross and rusty and it went in my mouth. I filed a report with the local health department and I'm never coming here again.

Yelp
This is not my families first time at Barn 34 and will not be our last. This place has the BEST servers, so personable and fun. The food never fails to be delicious and filling. I had the fried green tomato benedict, which has no english muffin, but is still delicious. The home fries are always a hit or miss for me but it hit today. This place is a must try!

Yelp
We were lucky to snag two seats at the bar since it's a bit of a small spot for grabbing a table. The bartender was fantastic--absolutely great at his job, rattling off a dozen specials from memory. I went with the soft shell crab Benedict, and my girlfriend enjoyed the avocado toast, which was light and incredibly creamy. The soft shell Benedict was hands down the best breakfast I've had. Mixing the potatoes with the yolk elevated the dish even more. We absolutely loved this breakfast.

Yelp
Getting lucky with street parking, we were able to get seated pretty quickly at the upstairs bar. We started with a pitcher of Bellinis. It's important to ask the price before committing to a pitcher of anything. Or just drink it all up so the $44 charge on the bill at the end of the meal won't hurt so much. Ugh. We started with the dates wrapped in bacon. O. M. G. delicious! This was incredible enough for me to make a note of the ingredients so I can replicate these at home for the holidays. Yummers! The Big Wave pancake breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, as was the avocado toast and the Western omelet. We ordered entirely too much food between three of us but had no problem oinking out - especially as we downed those Bellinis. Curiously, when we got home, we noticed some random person's name on our copy of the receipt. We had asked for our bill to be split between two of us on separate cards, but it was actually split with someone else with an Amex card. Maybe one of us paid for their breakfast? Weird! But, again, those Bellinis made it really not matter much. :)

Yelp
Pretty decor. But the food was minimally edible: - Coffee was bitter and in a chipped mug - No fresh-squeezed OJ - Potatoes undercooked - Food came out cold - Pancakes dry and tasteless - Pancake syrup in a fancy bottle - tasted like Sysco And there's a long wait and a 6-spot parking lot. Otherwise pay $8 to park next door.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Way way way too crowded. Felt sorry for the servers and the people who were seated elbow to elbow... Not cool. I will not be returning .

Yelp
Where do I even start?? This place is definitely a must try! The environment is very casual and cute, but don't expect hipster or vibey. To start, the hostess was super friendly, and even though it was fairly busy, we didn't wait long to be seated being that it was a Saturday morning (or really any day, the wait was quick). We came for breakfast and breakfast is what we had! Here's what we ordered: - Hangover: my husband ordered this with pork sausage. It was very well seasoned and with generous portion. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the pork sausage was nice, plump, and juicy! - Jalapeno Popper Omelet: this was a weekly/seasonal item. It was DELICIOUS! It actually tasted like a bacon wrapped jalapeno popper!! It came with home fries and choice of bread (I got a biscuit). I could not finish because it was a hefty serving. - Nutella Banana Waffle: both my children ordered this and added strawberries to it as well. They were in nutella heaven with this one and loved every bite of it. - French Toast: we ordered to try it for the table. Plain old French toast. It was exactly what you would expect to get out of French Toast: simple, delicious, and to the point. Our waitress was Sarah and she was extremely friendly, attentive, and quick! She left us not wanting for anything. It felt like she was always a step ahead with what we'd want or need and I really appreciated her for that! We will definitely be back the next time we're in OC. This may have to be a staple EVERY time we're in town.

Yelp
We walked in on the 4th of July and despite a long line we were able to grab seats at the bar. I enjoyed a fresh cucumber crush and breakfast shots which came with a piece of bacon (score)! I liked my big wave with ham, eggs, and a choice of French toast or pancakes. To top it off they were playing 80s classic hits. I was singing along. I'd stop there for brunch again!
google avatar

Yelp
The best breakfast and waitstaff in OC. Specialty breakfast dishes with smiles don't miss this place

Yelp
Ate here on my way back to the 302 after checkout. Man, if I knew how good their breakfast was, I would have been made a Sunday after church trip here...lol... There were so many great looking things on the menu, that I had a hard time choosing. Finally settled on the cinnamon roll French toast that was a special. Mannnn..., That was some straight fat boy stuff ... and I loved it. The whole place is inside of a barn like structure and it was easy on the eye. Although new to the establishment, my waitress was all in on the excitement over the place and told me I would surely be back. She was right
google avatar

Yelp
Really great food and lots of choices! The ambiance is fun and busy. Great service especially from Meghan on our first visit. We came back a second time because we loved it so much. Definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Yelp
I knew this place was going to be good when they told me the wait. For it to be off season and the place be this packed I knew we were in for a treat. There were two open seats at the bar so we were able to be seated immediately. I had the Spritzer for myself. A strong choice for a morning beverage. We tried the crab deviled eggs from the specials and what a hit. Smooth texture and good amount of crab. I ordered the big wave with grits and sausage. Delicious. I'm always nervous about my pancakes and grits but they came out great. Pancakes were fluffy and the grits were cooked very well. My friend ordered the crab imperial omelette which they loved. All in all, service was good. Food was great and the drinks were strong. I will be back during the summer.

Yelp
We had a terrific breakfast here! Specials Angel Food Cake French Toast with fresh Berries and a Jalapeño Omelet with Bacon, Cheddar and Sour Cream! If you remember the Christmas Barn in OCMD it's the same building with pretty much the same interior but modernized for a restaurant! Parking is at a Minimum street parking is available on a hunt & find basis. Rachel H. Our Server was warm and friendly sort of the old school that you hope you get everywhere especially when it comes to the menu recommendations! We had a great first experience and a very filling breakfast with great coffee!
google avatar

Jacob P.

Yelp
Ordered 4 dishes. We wanted to order the avocado toast, but they had run out of avocados - it was only 10am. 1) yogurt parfait: hard to mess up yogurt. 5/5 2) classic eggs benedict: the hollandaise sauce was overcooked and was getting chunky. Poached egg was cooked perfectly. Ham was tasty, but the edge of one piece was really hard. 3) chef's special: Brussels sprouts, squash, potato, peppers with egg and biscuit. 1/5. This dish was very bland and the Brussels sprouts were hard and barely cooked. Our waiter gave us a $3 discount due to the barely cooked Brussel sprouts. 4) Tiny fisherman for kids: another dish thats hard to mess up. Egg, pancakes, and a sausage. 5/5. Overall 3/5 for the food. The dishes we enjoyed the most were the simple dishes that are hard to mess up - the kid's order and the yogurt parfait. Service: 5/5. Server was very attentive and visited our table often. Environment: 5/5 great lively environment and spacious seating.

Yelp
Had brunch here before leaving Ocean City for the weekend and so glad we went here! Luckily they were able to seat us within 10 minutes of us getting there, which we felt was pretty good since the place was very busy and it was prime brunch time. Given its name, the structure was that of a barn with a rustic, modern vibe that we felt as we walked up the steps to be seated in the second level dining room. All of the staff, from the hostesses to our waitress and the busboys, were super friendly, helpful and attentive. Our waitress immediately came to check on us once we were seated and was very helpful in making some great menu recommendations. Based on her suggestions , we ordered the pitcher of Passion Fruit Mimosa. Now this pitcher was a bit larger than we were expecting, but we made sure to finish it since it was so good and didn't water down at all! For food, he ordered the Crab Cake Benedict while I got one of their specials, the Lobster Benedict. The crab and lobster on both were so fresh, well seasoned and tasty. Each dish was well portioned and so filling. When in Ocean City again, I would definitely go back and recommend anyone in town visiting to check them out as well!

Yelp
A great breakfast to end a great weekend in OC. The place was packed at 9:30am and we were told the wait would be 45 minutes for a party of 5. It was nowhere near that. I'm not sure how the staff moves so fast, but it didn't even feel like we waited 15 minutes for our very large feast. The service was great and it just feels like you're in your grandmother's home. The sweet potato pancakes were peeeerfect. The grits were a great consistency as well. I'll be back on my next trip to OC.
google avatar

Viktor B.

Yelp
Service was extremely quick with food and drinks. In and out within 45 mins. Our server was informative, attentive and polite. The food was very good and warm. Try the Captain Crunch toast. Plenty of food for even leftovers. Fried green tomatoes eggs Benedict was great! Special dish of bacon wrapped dates was a unique dish!

Yelp
Kids dad talked this place up and at the last min bailed out. My kids, "daughter in law" my grandson and I, went anyway. Parking was scarce. I rolled the dice where I parked and when I came out it was still there but be careful. The barn itself had seating that was just as tight as the parking. Waiter could hardly hand us our food with so many people coming and going. Chipped beef gravy was very good but it was barely warm. I got it with grits and 2 scrambled eggs. Eggs were also room temperature but because the grits were served in a type of cup, they were still warm. I had to ask for butter though, before they cooled. Everyone else had the same comment when the food came. (That it was barely warm.) Breakfast, as I said, was good. Was it $85 good? No. I get a better deal at Jimmy's Kitchen and it's served right off the grill (so to speak). I'd not come back due to awful parking options, butts in your face at the tables inside. (It's tight. I could barely pull my chair out to sit on it!), The food was warm, plus the high cost. To me, it's not worth it.
google avatar

Andres L.

Yelp
Meagan was the best server ever. Food was great. We had the lobster eggs Benedict, French toast, waffle, and spicy omelette. Very family friendly. Loved the vibe...perfect for our last day here in Ocean City.

Yelp
Came in with the fam on 6/3/23 and we're glad we came in a little early as the place quickly fills up especially during the weekends. Inside was cozy but it was more spacious upstairs where we were seated. Chris attended to us and he was wonderful! Polite, pleasant and did a wonderful job explaining the menu and specials to us. That time I really just wanted to keep it simple with some blueberry pancakes with bacon and eggs and that meal hit the spot. Pancakes were fresh, soft and fluffy. Glad I decided to add some blueberries there. The eggs were nicely cooked and bacon was tasty that even my nephew keep taking some lol Deviled eggs were a nice start and pineapple juice was sweet and delicious. Angels food cake french toast special was yum and breakfast burrito was ginormous! Order of soft shell Benedict, although nicely thought of, wasn't the hubster's fave coz he felt batter didn't go well with the english muffin. I guess it was like carb on carb rather than protein on carb. Oh well, nice try. Overall, still had a pleasant time and glad we gave the place a go! Definitely a good spot for families or any group for that matter especially for those who prefer brunch and drinks!

Yelp
The food (especially breakfast) is fabulous !! The omelettes are more than enough for 1 person. Great service and great atmosphere !! My only reason it didn't get a 5 star review is the LACK OF PARKING !! 9 parking spaces and 1 of those is a H/C. We've always gotten there before they open so we were able to snag a space !!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not much of a writer, but I know what good is. My friend and I went twice this past week. First time we had cream chipped beef over biscuits with potatoes and the peach pancake special, next time we had the sos again and the special holiday blueberry waffle. So good. Everything home made. Service was excellent. I love the ambiance of the barn.

Yelp
We came here off-season (mid November) and loved all the Christmas decorations around. Parking is miserable. It's s a very very small parking lot. And they don't seat you until your whole party is present. Definitely a little annoying. There is 2 floors and even during off-season, it's pretty crowded. Our waitress was super busy, and it took a while for her to get to us. Which was understandable. We got water and she read us the specials. It was a very long list of drink and food specials. I felt kind of bad for her as they seemed to make them just memorize everything and read it outloud. I couldn't even remember everything she said. It would've been nicer to just have a piece of paper or something. We weren't going to get any of the specials till she kind of asked if we were sure we didn't want the cinnamon roll. So we got a cinnamon roll as well, I figured it would be super special! I got the 2 pancake, meat, 2 egg combo with home fries. My husband got the hangover skillet with scrapple. The cinnamon roll was delicious, I liked that it came with strawberries. Not sure if you absolutely needed to try it, but it was a good appetizer. Our main dishes came out pretty quickly. Portions are HUGE. The pancakes were really really good. Buttery and the right thickness. I got some of their hot sauce which I really enjoyed. It was flavorful - although I didn't really get any heat or spice! I wish I would've gone with the grits over the potatoes. I tried some of my husband's scrapple and really liked it too! I would definitely come back here. I might avoid it during beach season when it's even more crowded, but I can see why people like it!

Yelp
First visit of the season, how sad wasn't a strong start Barn 34 regulars, we know: 1. Parking is usually a hot mess- be prepared to circle the block 2. Arrive early, with your whole party in tow, or be prepared to wait 30-40mins 3. Be flexible squishing at whatever table is available! So, two laps to find parking, arriving right when they opened but still waiting 15mins, and squishing at a table w.four people & two high chairs was the expected experience...Usually worth it for the massive delicious quality breakfast platters, except, this visit, our go-to-dishes were very notably a lesser quality. I always order the Big Wave, scrambled eggs, scrapple, grits, and upgrade to sweet potato pancakes- This visit the eggs were not the light fluffy fresh quality- they seemed like bottom of an egg tray scooped the last bits of crumbles left. The grits & scrapple were fine- large scoop of creamy, well-seasoned grits & big slabs of fried hard thick scrapple- but the pancakes were not the melt in my mouth fluffy drool. I recall, and can even reference old photos, large, thick, fluffy, moist, sweet potato pancakes (w.pecans), but this visit I received two flat, dry, flavorless pancakes -not worth any upgrade price. My husband orders the big chorizo burrito- usually packed with ingredients, smothered in sauces, a hearty flavor packed plate- though this visit the burrito had a lot of potatoes, skimped on the meat and veggies. Staff was friendly & attentive per usual, but the quality of the meals were very notably diminished. Wouldn't have been worth the longer wait. If dip in quality happens again would definitely have us shying away to our other top choices in the area.

Yelp
Had an all American style Monday brunch at Barn 34. Wasn't expecting an actual barn, but they made it work with a rustic/cottage core feel. We ordered the crab oscar, angel food cake French toast, the beach babe, and avocado toast. The French toast was amazing. I'm guessing it was deep fried, but the sweetness of the toast paired with the tartness of the fresh berries really made it one to remember. I wasn't impressed with the cost-worthiness of the crab oscar benedict or avocado toast. Knocking off two stars because of super long waits, about 25 minutes to be seated and another 25 minutes for the food after we ordered. Service was okay. Not super happy about being seated right next to the bathroom. Got the vibe that the hostesses at the front were not happy with their jobs.

Yelp
The wait staff is phenomenal. So many "off menu" items - food and drink. We wanted a peach mimosa to start - they were out. We were told we could create our own if we wanted to - so my sister got a mango strawberry - which she enjoyed. We didn't get a pitcher - thank goodness - they are HUGE! We weren't quite that thirsty. They seemed to have a million different ways to create an eggs Benedict. We both opted for the traditional. The poached egg was perfect. It sat on a very generous cut of ham. The English muffin was hard as a brick. I could hardly cut it. It seemed like they just left the muffin in the toaster for a while after it was done. We also had the crab balls (joke omitted). They had a nice crispy crunch but I thought the center was too soft. It was fairly lively for a late Tuesday morning. The parking lot filled up fast but there was street parking available as well.

Yelp
Been coming here for 3 years although my review is for only the off season because that's when we come. Their food here is frankly the freshest around. And that's what they have built their business upon. If you come here in the summer be prepared for a line way out on the sidewalk. Imaginative entrees in a pleasant environment is what Barn 34 offers

Yelp
The "Go To" in Ocean City! This great, two-level restaurant has is very welcoming inside, from the atmosphere to the staff. My wife, 5 year old son, and I kept coming back during our trip to try new food. Everything was delicious! This will be our main spot anytime we are in Ocean City.

Yelp
Barn 34 was so good! We went twice during our long weekend trip, and both times the staff were friendly, the food was great, and the mimosas were delicious. It was very busy both times (we went on a Friday morning and Sunday morning both around 9:45-10:00) but it still had a chill vibe there. We sat at the upstairs bar both days, which got us seated faster than waiting for a table. We both LOVED the bacon here. We will definitely be going back again in the future!

Yelp
Arrive early, the line gets long quick! We got let in a few minutes before 8am and was seated upstairs. The service is very quick, they have A LOT of specials. We enjoyed the Big Wave with French Toast and Chipped Beef. Always a favorite place to stop when we're in OC

Yelp
Food was good and service was excellent. We came during st. patty's day weekend for brunch and it was crowded but we were able to get seated within 5-10 minutes. Our table shared the cinnamon bun, and fried green tomatoes. The cinnamon bun is sweet so perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The fried green tomatoes were pretty good too. We also got the st. patty's day special (green) mimosas that was good. I ordered the classic benedict. The eggs were a little bit cooked more than I like but overall good. The home fries were decent in my opinion, nothing to rave about. The rest of the group enjoyed their meals too. Our server Chris was excellent. He checked on us very often, cheerful and just overall fantastic.

Yelp
Just finished a wonderful stay in OC. Ended with breakfast at Barn 34. Our server was Meagan. She made a meal a great experience, and the food was great.
