"A few miles inland from Padstow and its older sibling Prawn on the Lawn, this lively pop-up-turned-permanent sits within a working vineyard and orchard. Start your visit on the charming terrace with a glass of their own wine or cider, accompanied by oysters either deep-fried or raw. A fixed menu of small plates is joined by larger daily specials from the blackboard, with quality local produce given a kick by hints of Middle Eastern or North African spicing – such as crab toast with muhammara or beetroot with whipped feta and chermoula." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious sharing plates and super friendly staff plus fab decor and setting made this a very successful mid week birthday lunch treat! We’ll be back very soon and can’t wait for summer and being able to sit out in the vineyard. Thanks team 🙌

Visited here on holiday with my family, nice to come to this restaurant/ vineyard outside of the busy padstow and areas. Food was incredible - the food was incredible, we ordered virtually one of everything and shared. The fish of choice was monk fish and sole. Pictures speak for them selves

Smashing place! It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! It's not the usual restaurant as the venue is a "sharer" menu. Stunning location and fabulous staff.

Lovely restaurant with great staff - Maddie was amazing. The food is obscenely good - the Gurnard and Chicken thighs alongside the crab toast were delicious. I loved the labneh too. Great restaurant decor and service was wonderful. Lovely atmosphere too and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Fab restaurant, love the small plates and the interesting flavours. Stand outs were the fried oyster, mushrooms and cheese cake (insane). Also special mention to the no and low alcohol section (the sparkling rose and low-groni were truly lovely). Definitely wanting to return and check out other locations

A real mixed experience here last night and I'm sad to say how much the food has changed since we last visited. The service was lovely as per usual and couldn't fault the wait staff. Most of the food was strangely tasteless, but a few of the dishes were absolutely delicious. The artichoke hummus was incredibly bland and the tempura haddock with Chipotle mayo didn't have any flavor whatsoever. The kitchen forgot dishes of ours completely and we ended up canceling some because of it and left without dessert. We've loved Barnabys in the past and recommended it to others, we would really not do so now based on the quality of food on offer being so inconsistent - such a shame!

YOU MUST EAT HERE! Excellent service, lovely ambience, dog friendly. Near faultless food (I say near, I only had one dish that minorly underwhelmed me but really I’m being very particular here as a chef myself) Barbecue leeks, deep fried oysters, courgette labneh and the hake were my favourites. Crispy potatoes to die for. Dessert wine (from upstairs) was a highlight. (I went to buy some later it was that good). We ordered the right amount of dishes at our servers suggestion. I note the many comments about prices, portions and food not being to their tastes in some reviews. If you don’t have a curious palate or an interest in food I can understand why some of the dishes may not be to your tastes. As for price and portion, I disagree. The prices reflect and skill and experience required to create excellent food, and we left full and happy. Will happily return and recommend.

First visit to Barnaby’s for our Anniversary… if you are visiting Padstow or in Cornwall I would highly recommend you visit. The atmosphere, service and food was exceptional…. Add to that a vineyard and you just cannot be disappointed. Big Thanks for making our Anniversary special.
