A seriously impressive restaurant. The food is of amazing quality. Fine dining, but not minimalist, and doesn't leave you wanting. The best restaurant I've been to in years. I would recommend it to anyone I know!

We've had a number of fabulous meals here over the past year, and have been as a couple, with friends, and with family members young and old. Some delicious regionally sourced dishes at a great cost point too. The cocktails are worth trying too! One of our favourites.

Lovely place. We decided to eat early, so booked a table for two. Sat on stools overlooking downstairs. Had asparagus to start and hake for main with a nice bottle of red. Service quick and polite, food delicious.

The New Year's Eve tasting menu was incredible. The service was excellent, and the staff were just lovely. The food presented was to die for. A triumph for Chef and his colleagues, alike. Fabulous way to spend NYE. Can't wait to return.

Had a three course lunch with my wife. Portions are not worth the £52 we paid.I had the hake which was overcooked. also had the custard tart which was inedible. But my wife enjoyed her meal.

Hidden in the Duke Street market you can find this truly gem of English gastronomy! Its food is delicious and its service focused on details and aspired to finest standards! Well done Barnacle! We needed you in the town center!

The food in here is on another level. Service fantastic. Highly recommended although very noisy on a Saturday evening. Best that in mind if you want a quiet meal.

Great experience! Having a Liverpool breakfast in my visit which really made my day! Recommend to people want to try something different also the one who enjoy the food!
