Barnes & Noble

It's nice to have a Barnes and Noble so close to home. My only "complaint" is that it is a bit smaller than some other stores but it is very close to home. They have removed most of the chairs in the retail area, most likely to keep people from loitering which I am NOT mad about. There is plenty of seating in the cafe area for folks who want to grab a bite to eat or sip on a beverage.

Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite places to spend a few hours! I love wandering the aisles, discovering new books, and getting lost in all the stories. The staff are always friendly and happy to offer recommendations, which makes me feel welcome every time I visit. I especially enjoy the cozy reading nooks and the café—it’s the perfect spot to sit down with a coffee and dive into a good book. Whether I’m looking for something new or revisiting an old favorite, Barnes & Noble never disappoints. It truly feels like a home for book lovers!

Bookstores are my weak spot. For many years I disallowed myself from frequenting them as I could not stop myself from walking out with a good chunk of my salary spent on a stack of books. A few years ago, I completely got rid of my bookshelf (careful to take pictures of all my precious books that were given away). Today I learned that it is still my weak spot and that I should continue staying away if I want to be able to feed my kids (not to worry, that is a gross exaggeration made for emphasis). This Barnes & Nobles has it all, including a bar and cafe. There are nooks and crannies everywhere to sit down and veg. However, when in a bookstore, I do not have time to stop and veg. Instead, I owe it to my avid Google review-readers to take pictures and look at EVERYTHING. They have everything, and holding real books, feeling the different textures of the covers and the pages just gets my happy feelings bubbling and hopping. There is a huge kids section, young adults section... not sure where this list is going, because if you want it they have it. There are enough people working there to get the help you need, but never bothered. I often found myself sitting on the floor, surrounded by stacks of books (those coming with me, those I am actively looking through and some other random piles) and nobody looked at me funny or called the cops. The trip was still a bit painful on my wallet (but sign up for the free membership and you'll get a nice discount, in this case 10%), but in my entire career as a mom, I have not often been able to say no to requests having to do with books. So, the four of us walked out with big smiles on our faces and that was worth every penny (pun intended... we call our youngest daughter Penny). Ended the evening going next door to Elevation Burger, which will be reviewed next. Happy reading!

My favorite B&N so far. Outstanding selection and lots of books in stock. Their café is huge, and had lots of seating space.

It's a place to relax for me. There are many books to choose from and quiet seats. It's not difficult to find food around there. There are many parking spaces.

Nice to get your work done. But you have to get there early to get a seat. Street parking isn't a lot. But they have a parking garage too. Nice place to get some work done, if you are the kind who works from home. They have food to eat. So there is always food there.

Great place to find books and unique stationary accessories. I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas section! I like that you get to read through a book at the store before buying it. I liked a book title, so I sat on the tables in the store and read som of it and fell in love, so ended up getting it along with a very cute and unique 3d flowers bookmark!

First Barnes & Noble I've been to that has a kitchen instead of a Cafe. Plenty of seating and it probably takes up 25% of the space in this location. The location is clean and comfortable and workers are very friendly. Seems like they a smaller book selection compared to others I've been in.

Have not visits here for some time and refreshing to walk in see all the books, magazines and café still around. Customer service friendly. Easy to wander around and seating available. Bathrooms in the rear of the store.

Walking around puruising book titles at Barnes & noble. Decided I'd get a cup of coffee and maybe something to go with it. Saw they had recently pulled out a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies. Got up to the window and asked for one of those. Was told that they had to sell the day old cookies in the cabinet first before they could sell the fresh ones. Wtf? Whoever came up with that idea was an idiot. I walked out and didn't buy anything. What horrible customer service. And yeah I guess I don't want to hear about your percentage of waste every day. Sell the old stale cookies at a discount if you want to move them.

Very sad the B&N Kitchen Restaurant menu is gone! Miss my yummy tomato soup & grilled cheese. Please bring the restaurant back! The bookstore is great! The food side is no longer great without the restaurant. Cafe food options are meh. The grilled cheese there is no where as good as the restaurant's grilled cheese. So didappointed! It was the main reason I drove an hour to this bookstore instead of going to the ones closer to where I live (inside beltway). Now I no longer have a reason to visit this particular B&N in Ashburn. :(

The Cafe and seating area for customers is much more modern and expanded sive than so.e of theor other locations. I've been to several of their stores closer to the city, and those cafe seating areas are not as comfortable or accessible as this store. I came here today and I've already passed about 3.5 hours just hanging out and doing work on my computer. I ordered a regular coffee and I've been hacking away since I got here. The WiFi is exceptional and the tables and chairs are also very comfortable. The crowd here is also different than what you would find closer in to DC. Even though everyone that I saw was focused on their laptops, a couple people actually smiled and made eye contact. That's not usually the case at some if their other stores. Likewise for the employees here. Everyone seemed to be nice and helpful.

I love this Barnes & Noble: the environment is relaxing, even with so many people coming in and out. they have a lot of young adults, teens and kids coming in to look at books, which is really awesome. It's nice to have an environment where reading is so encouraged! There are plenty of tables and chairs by the cafe as well to come hang out or just to do work while with the change of scenery. Their inventory is almost always stocked with most of the books. They do tend to not carry specialized books, I've found, like MCAT study books. Overall, one of my favorite bookstores in the area!

This Barnes and Nobel is my favorite one. I love to hang out here, read a book or work on my laptop. I also find that the books are well stocked at this location. The cafe here is very nice too with great all day breakfast options, along with salads, sandwiches and bakery items. I love their mediterrian quiche. The crust is nice and flaky. Plus its a nice way to get some protein in. The smoked turkey panini is also quite good. It comes with the chips that I love so much. I love to pair my food with a nice Starbucks Cappuccino.

This location came to mind Friday evening when the local library was closed and I was seeking an alternative. When you walk in, there's a Starbucks cafe to the right that has spacious seating and an abundance of wall and floor outlets. No complaints here; the table was clean and the employees were amicable. Warning: The cafe gets very busy even an hour before close. If you plan on coming to the cafe to work or study, you may have a better chance at finding a seat if you come in earlier.

The staff and environment is great! Coffee shop food and books. You can't get a better combo:)

This is probably my favorite study spot in all of northern Va. I've checked out way too many coffee shops/cafes but from the lighting, the choices of drinks and food, the ambiance. It's just the perfect area to stay all day and study. usually every coffee shop just offers pastries or has super dim lighting which makes it hard to stay awake. It's worth the drive for me to get things done!

Great Barnes & Nobles, love the location. I have found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. They always know exactly where the books are and lead you to them, if you ask. Great selection, and plenty of places to sit and read. Not sure where Kat P (below review) was raised, but putting you feet up on a chair or couch is never cool, it's filthy. Looking forward to some Christmas shopping here this weekend!

It was my first experience in this book store today. I enjoyed picking out some books with a roommate of mine. I went to buy some hot cocoa and a cupcake we ate at a small table in the back with two chairs. I moved the chairs around just while I was eating and was prepared to put them back the way I found it, when we were prepared to buy the books we would have bought. The story changed. A store employee (skinny white male with a blue button down shirt) approached and abruptly said in a jarring way without introduction: "Uh unfortunately we don't allow customers to move the furniture." My friend then asked: Does that mean we need to move it, now?" The employee said "yeah, move it," and he left. First of all, what a disturbance to our enjoyment of the bookstore? I am a paying customer and was reading some books I had laid out on the table. This interruption completely could have been handled professionally and politely. Perhaps introduce himself and ask nicely, not demand by saying: "Hello how are you doing? If you don't mind moving the table and chairs back when you're done, that would be much appreciated, we don't usually move the furniture around." That approach would have been a softer, more appealing solution for all parties. I would have stayed in the store and bought the books. Instead, I felt as if we were customers that were being kicked out and unwelcome. We left the area clean, replaced the furniture as we would have done anyway, returned our books that we would have bought and departed the store immediately. It was not the best ending to a story that started out positive. I was considering coming back here with others but most probably won't because of that unwelcome feeling I got from the employees.

Picked up coffee's since the other regular Starbucks closed today at 4 pm. They were a bit slow today but we finally received our coffees 10 mins later.

How did I not know that they have more than a cafe and pastries?!? you can order your food, pick a seat, and read or work on your laptop. Make sure you tip as they bring your food out to you and they clean up when you're done.

One of the few remaining bookshops from B&N. Great magazine selection and decent book selection you can browse IRL. Plus a giant Starbucks social space. Maybe too many tchotskis but otherwise great.

Other Yelpers mentioned that this is a small B & N. When we first entered it, we didn't think so. However, as we explored it, we realized that they were correct. There is no section for buying CDs, DVDs or LPs. This, no doubt, was done because there was no room for it. The employees are very friendly. They will greet you when they see you and ask if you need help. I had a nice chat with an employee. When I noticed that the cooking section seemed good-sized, she said that B & N keeps track of what sections have the most sales. They do this so when they open a new location, they know what sections are the most popular. The most popular sections get the most books devoted to that subject. Another thing I did like---there are plenty of places to sit, even some tables. They also have inside a "Barnes and Noble Kitchen". It's not as fancy as the name implies. Looking at the menu, it's Starbucks drinks and some pastries. However, there is good seating in that area. While it would have been nice to see a B & N that is as big as the one at Tysons or in Fairfax, it's still good to have a location in One Loudoun. All that said, we will definitely visit this one again if we are going to dinner in One Loudoun. Otherwise, we would either go to Tysons or Fairfax due to the larger selection of items.

This new Barnes & Noble is clean, organized with awesome customer service! I've also never thought I would dine at a Barnes & Noble. Along with their cafe, there's a restaurant inside serving beyond prepared sandwiches and salads. You can order from the restaurant menu at the cafe counter and seat yourself. I guess the restaurant concept is still pretty new so there were plenty of seating on a Friday evening. The menu is short and simple. I was a bit hesitant to pay $14 for a grilled cheese sandwich and $19 for meatloaf. But to my surprise, the food was pretty elevated with gourmet touches. The tomato soup that came with the grilled cheese sandwiches were delicious. The combination of cheeses were excellent and quality. The salad that came with the dish had too much pepper and salt seasoning and I could only finish half of it. That was my least favorite item. The meatloaf was moist, along with the flavorful mushrooms and mashed potatoes. They were on a bed of mole and chipotle sauce that was really spicy. My hubby couldn't continue after three bites and the staff was so accommodating. They offered my hubby another entree and packaged the rest of the meatloaf dish for us to take home since I don't like wasting food. The server said most people do find the mole sauce very spicy. I find the dish spicy but so flavorful. But it was still too spicy even for me. My hubby ordered the salmon with salad, courtesy of the staff, and to my surprise, the salad consisted of raisins, tomatoes, cucumbers, grains, and lots of items that weren't just green leaves. The vinaigrette to the salad was light and the salmon was roasted well. The $4 warm bbq chips surely tasted house made. The blue cheese dip added a nice saltiness to the smoky and sweet chips. Our $40 dinner was restaurant worthy and all inside Barnes & Noble. You can also bring their books and magazines with you to read while you eat inside the restaurant. There's no pressure to buy as well. The bookstore concept has taken me to a whole new level!

Do you smell what I smell?? That's right the fresh crisp smell of crease-free books greets you as you walk in the door. You get that warm book feeling. The store is well lite and very welcoming. My initial reason to visit was to have lunch at the Kitchen inside but to great dismay, I was disappointed. If you want entree items off the menu it is best to visit after 4 pm. Before 4 pm they have a full drink menu courtesy of Starbucks and some other local liquid libation providers but the food items are best described as munchies or small plate items, if you will. They do have pre-made salads and sandwiches to choose from giving this more of a fast food casual feel than an actual sit down and dine atmosphere. Do not get me wrong, there is plenty of seating so you can grab a drink and chill or make this your hangout for telecommuting during the day, but that is as far as it goes. Prices for the small items seemed a little pricey but right in line with the expected pricing when you see the Starbucks name so I was not overly surprised at that as much as the menu options themselves. However the selection of books is vast!!!

When everywhere else BNs were closing, opening this store in this wealthy suburb was instinctively smart! This state of the art store houses the best selections, great for Readings, perfect for book signing and surely will keep LC residents well-read intelligent bunch! I say no more! As if --inside cafe and restaurant put this place over the top with their menu and well drinks options, eating & reading not a bad combo indeed! Tonight's (3/22/2018) celebrity book signing: Lt. Amazon can't be the catch all option. Sometimes you want to browse and then buy. We need brick and mortar bookstores for that and this more than serves that need. This is the best Barnes & Noble I've been to in years, perhaps ever. Huge 17k square foot space complete with a full serve Starbucks and beer and wine options. Beer includes local favorite Solace Brewing and Virginia wines from Barboursville and Jefferson vineyards. Great selection of books and magazines. Plenty of space to sit with a book or laptop.

I love this location of Barnes & Noble, they have a really good inventory and I always find the books I need. The staff is also very helpful and there is a lot of seating at this location. Love going here!

Whenever I need a place to study away from hone, this B&N comes first in mind. It's also got a great collection of books, which seems to be a dying art. There's a certain satisfaction about holding a book in your hands and smelling the newly printed and binded pages. Store staff has always been very friendly, although the cafe staff's service can be a bit slow or get my order wrong. Very cool that they offer beer/wine to sip on while you read a book!

I've always been a fan of bookstores and would take my teenager all the time to browse and pick books for her book collection. It was sad news when chain bookstores started closing. I'm a pen and paper type and love the feel of books and magazines (I don't own a kindle, or read books on a tablet). Since Barnes & Noble decided to arrived at One Loudoun, I make a point stop in when I have extra time. I love browsing new arrivals/recommendations, NYTBS, gifts, etc. Kids area has a play table and plenty of books available. Cafe inside with plenty of seating. (coffee, bakery items, full menu!) Tables and lounge chairs are always full with readers and studiers. - at check-out staff ALWAYS mentions B&N membership

This is a very nice Barnes and Noble, large, quiet, has not just a cafe but a Kitchen for more substantial food options. I see a lot of people using the cafe/kitchen area to read and get school work done; it has a great atmosphere for that. The 3 stars are due to how expensive the food is and how long it took me to get my food. I finally mentioned something when it had been 35 mins. I know it was just an oversight on their part, but I was surprised that I kept seeing the manager walk by and see my order number right in front of her for 30 mins and it never occurred to her to see why it had been there so long. I'm going to try again and see if it's better next time.

I love bookstores and I love how big this one is. I find myself wandering around and getting lost and coming out with way more books then I need. I'm obsessed with the little cafe inside to. Great place to take my laptop and be around some people when I want to get away from working from home or want to meet some colleagues. I also have to say their food is actually pretty amazing. My new favorite is the BLTA. I love they use Arugula as their lettuce and the addition of the avocado is so good. It also comes with these extra crispy potatoes as a side that are amazing. this barnes and noble kitchen did not have cold brew, the wait for the food was really long, and although the menu items sounded good and relatively healthy, the smoked turkey panini was a greasy mess that upset my daughters stomach and left us both feeling very oily. Service was friendly despite being really slow. The bathrooms in Barnes and Noble had potential because they were really new, but they were awfully dirty and smelled badly of urine and the sink was dirty. Not sure how often it gets cleaned.

We usually love coming to B&N. However, their prices are outrageous - the bruschetta was $14 for six very very small pieces of bread (1 inch wide). There was an additional $3 up charge for "avocado" that looked like prepackaged guacamole. They did not tell us that there was an up charge, we noticed after we had paid. Although the food is decent the menu is way way overpriced for a non-sit down eatery.

Better, Loudoun county can and has to do better. I get why they wanted a B&N here (it's nameplate in the fastest growing area in the county) but this is not the bookstore that should be here. Everything about it is wrong, the lighting, the prices, the layout, the (pathetic) coffee bar, the lack of comfortable seating. I could go on and on but you get the point. Skip this place, it's not the bookstore you're looking for or hoping it to be. (If you HAVE to have a book RIGHT NOW and can't wait for Amazon (say... you're staying in the area for a day or two) then yeah, you'll find what you want, otherwise don't bother).

Terrible. A rip-off all-around. I would love to support a brick and mortar bookstore, but B&N's markup is unacceptable. I scanned in a total of 10 different books and magazines that I wanted to buy, and on average they were 50% cheaper on Amazon. Yes, that's right -- B&N is charging people DOUBLE for books. I understand some markup is needed to make a profit and pay workers and such, but I don't see how any hardworking person can justify paying a full 2x more for something. Also, the coffee bar in this B&N is atrocious. I waited a full 15-20 minutes (NOT hyperbole, it was really that long) just to get a simple tall latte that I had zero customizations to. Other people were waiting forever as well, and several folks even got the wrong order after waiting all that time. Finally, this is just a bad bookstore in terms of atmosphere. There aren't comfy seating areas, and it's weird and open like an Apple store with harsh lighting and no reading nooks. It feels more like a Walmart than a bookstore, and it's nothing like other B&Ns I've been in. This place won't be here in two years, I'm willing to bet.

Amazing store! With so many Barnes & Noble store closures, it's a treat to visit the ones that are still open! We visited this Barnes & Noble location when we visited the One Loudoun town center in Ashburn, VA. The customer service is awesome and we loved the selection of books that this place offers. As a bookworm, I was quite happy :) Located conveniently in One Loudoun, this B&N location is just around the corner from a large parking lot, so it's very convenient to visit, even if you don't want to visit any other stores at the town center.

Well the beverage people that work here are really friendly and nice. But I just ran into an employee putting books away back on the shelf and put them back on the shelves in front of another book and just backwards in the wrong place... Seriously?

Was so happy to see them adjusting well to this pandemic! Wearing appropriate protection at all times and practicing social distancing! The Barista, Sara, is a great addition to this establishment! Super friendly and communicative! Made my vanilla ice coffee perfectly!!!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today while were out running errands. She ordered a 1/2 turkey wrap and tomato soup combo and I ordered a market salad and cream of chicken soup combo. For some unknown reason each item was brought out individually, each several minutes apart. Well, three of the items were brought out separately. My wife's turkey wrap was never delivered. I had to go into the kitchen and ask for it myself. Fortunately, after nearly 30 minutes since it was made, it had been sitting on the counter back there aging nicely. As a bookstore Barnes and noble is great. It's just a shame that, in a new store with a cafe that occupies about a third of the main floor, they aren't able to master the mysteries of food service.

The barista literally told us to just order a brown sugar shaken espresso instead of our custom drink. Is it that hard to do 4 shots of espresso with 3 pumps of vanilla and add oat milk??

This is my go-to location when I want to search the shelves and find a new title to read or a new tech book to study. The cafe has some really good cookies.

The Starbucks in the Barnes and Noble he is always low. Poorly staffed and trained it's work that it to walk the block to the Starbucks down the street.

Extremely rude Starbucks employee walked up to me and said you can't put your foot on the chair since you might have athletes foot and other people have to sit there. I was dressed up nicely out for date night with my husband and was sitting comfortably in one of the cafe chairs. And by the way, the cafe was supposed to be open, but it was closed, so this employee- instead of doing his job and selling coffee was walking around insulting customers. Very disappointed and will be sharing with my friends to not visit this establishment anymore.

This Barnes & Noble is always excellently stocked, and they make a great effort to keep indie authors on their shelves which I love! Their whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely my favorite bookstore in the area. Bonus: they have a coffee shop with a nice seating area where you can sit and get some work done or do some reading!

Whoever the cook should be fired, microwaving food isn't cooking. Never had anything decent come out of this place

Like any place, this store can occasionally have its flaws and I think it's still trying to work out its kinks now that's it's just over a year old. While I am a hard core advocate for independent bookstores, this B&N is sorely needed in this area. As a Loudoun County resident, I couldn't be happier that it's here. It's smaller than I believe originally planned but it has done an excellent job of building the best selection for the space. I have been able to find 80% of what I'm looking for on any given day. Most importantly, the service is really attentive. I'm always greeted by employees looking to help find something or give a recommendation to both me and my kids. The restaurant is great. Only wish it was larger. It's full most of the day and for good reason. The food selections are solid- best grilled cheese and tomato soup in the area. The aesthetics are modern and relaxing. I'm happy to note when I'm there I often notice the diversity of the customers in age, activities and ethnicity. This is a community place I believe needs to be fostered.

Ugh. This is a business that's not long for the world. Barnes and Nobles was once THE BEST book store. That's why it outlasted all the other big chains. Now, when I go to a B&N, this one recently, they give the same crappy service as one gets anywhere else. To be clear, this is no accident... people are policy and B&N corporate has laid off many great long-time employees to "save money." Their customer service is poor at any location. I suppose they decided to try and out-cheap Amazon. They failed.

We waited so long to get a bookstore in Ashburn. What a disappointment. We purchased a BN membership at this store in December. When we went back in February, they had no record of it after we spent 25$ on it. They claimed there was no entry for me under any of my phone numbers or emails. Apparently they just never activated my account, although they did charge my CC. Thanks, BN! In that same transaction, I told the cashier I needed a gift receipt for two of the three books and needed them gift wrapped. After being told this was no problem, they gave me gift receipts for the wrong books and then when I reminded them I needed two books gift wrapped, they said, "Oh, we're not doing that today." WTH, BN? It's nice to have a brick and mortar bookstore locally, but the fact that store is prioritizing its cafe over its books AND has some spectacularly give-no-$%^s customer service makes the BN at 1 Loudoun an 'avoid.'

Checked the location out after work one day, and I haven't been back since. Why? (1) The books are ridiculously overpriced. Also, some of the books were damaged. You can get books that are cheaper and in better shape on Amazon. (2) They may have cut this back now, but B&N had way too many sales floor associates. When I'd try to read the back of a book or skim through, I kept being interrupted with random questions. I found it hard to just relax and enjoy browsing the books. Then, one very young, quiet sales floor associate stood uncomfortably close to me and started adjusting bookbags. Awwwwkward. Yeah, so relaxing! (3) The cafe didn't feel very inviting. The food/drinks were overpriced as well. However, I wouldn't have minded the price if the cafe felt more cozy. I actually frequent another B&N location and end up wasting all kinds of money because I thoroughly enjoy my overall experience (cafe, books, customer service). I mean...I wouldn't say don't go to this location. Check it out because maybe you'll like this B&N. Just remember that you're in Northern VA and adjust your expectations accordingly.

I like to come here to do my homework or join my classes while enjoying a snack. I was actually surprised to not read any reviews about one of the staff members I've interacted with mostly there. There's a curly haired barista, who always seems to be irritated with any presence. I haven't had one polite interaction with him and have worked in customer service for over five years, so i go out of my way to say thank you and please, and treat others with respect. I thought that i was being too personal until bringing another friend who asked what his problem was without me saying anything and another girl i know, who visits there, has had similar interaction with him. I've only ever use this app to write one review when I found the finger nail in a Wendy's drink, but my countless interactions with this barista, feeling judged and unwanted have driven me to write this one. It's unfortunate that I dread seeing him every time I come in. a smile or you're welcome would go along way in making his guests feel more welcomed. i've never seen someone so displeased to be at work...

An incredible bookstore restaurant. This Barnes and Noble is a flagship concept that combines a legit restaurant with their standard bookstore. Their burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches (with tomato soup) sell pretty well but their entrees are where this place makes it's culinary mark. The BNK Meatloaf is a special recipe with a pleasantly sweet filling and a nice slightly spicy overtone. Very sophisticated dish that wowed me. When I ordered it at $19 I thought it sounded a bit pricey but once I saw what I got I thought $19 was a pretty fair deal! "Mary's Herb Rubbed Chicken" for $19 was a similarly good experience. The chicken breasts were tender and deeply flavorful seasoned with very fresh herbs. The fried potato wedges were wonderfully crispy and the carrot-kale slaw was wonderfully refreshing and provided a nice texture contrast to the meat. Overall this was a really well balanced dish far exceeding my expectations for a bookstore. In addition to the great food there are several good beers and wine on tap. The people making the choices of what to serve here obviously know their stuff.

I want SO badly to give this place a higher rating but sadly I cannot. And it's not even the book side of the stores' fault! The book side of this place is amazing! Some people find it small but I think it's a​ perfect size. it's not overwhelming and yet you can get almost everything you need. My issue is with the Starbucks and restaurant​ staff here. I have never NOT had some sort of issue here with the staff and it's really frustrating because this is the perfect place to go and bring you laptop or read and the food is pretty great. The staff is rude and lazy and even today an employee raised his voice pretty loudly at his colleague and they had this fight in front of the entire cafe because he didnt want to be wrong about A WATER JUG. (btw props to this girl because she did not back down but tried really hard to contain the situation). I wish they put more effort into training the people here because its the most local bookstore and it really is nice, but if the staff is like this id rather drive further to get to a place I dont have to worry about the staff treating me like a nuisance​.

Very nice bookstore. Very spacious, open, and a lot of light. The customer service is really friendly and ready to help. I bought four magazines for 20% off on their "12 days of Christmas" sale. I will come back.

It's clean, the food kitchen is plenty big, the staff is warm and friendly and you can have a glass of wine or draft here,along with a variety of wonderful food. Order a salad, sandwich with soup, desserts, a cheese plate, plus many other choices of wonderful food. The Neat on One Loudoun:)

A real bookstore? I'm in! Glad to see B&N alive and well in Loudoun County. The store is bright and cheery with lots of help if you need it. Plenty of places to sit, and there's a built-in Starbucks and light food menu as well. If you remember the Reston store, this one is a bit smaller and maybe less cozy feeling. But there's plenty of inventory, and it's just so nice to be able to browse books on something other than Google Chrome. We'll be back.
