It's always fun to visit these stores. The only odd thing was finding a homeless person sleeping inside, and the bathrooms were locked with a code—which I actually appreciate. Small changes like this help keep staff and customers safe. The staff was restocking and ready to help, which I also appreciated. Still, it was great to see so many customers enjoying the books, records, and all the fun things we always find at Barnes & Noble. This particular location even has a large Starbucks next to it. I wish customers didn't leave their empty cups all around the stores. That was disappointing.

Great book shop , thousands of books on all subjects. Very courteous and helpful staff who locate our titles and guide to the particular section . From classics to modern ; its feast for any book reader Btw coffee is within the shop . Great combination. Paper back edition need to be included

Store is having major moisture and humidity issues with leaks, yet they continue to sell the books. Left without purchasing today as I was worried about bringing mold into my home. Multiple shelves with tarps thrown on them and books underneath, mold and water stains on saggy roof tiles, and books curling and warping on tables. Absolutely unacceptable.

Still around?! Even though I love e-books, it is still wonderful to be able to walk into a large bookstore with brand new books all around, from classics to new releases of all genres.

I came to Barnes & Noble today. Looking for a gift for my mom. The store is huge and has an incredible selection so I was a little bit overwhelmed. Luckily, I ran into Kevin at the service desk. He was extremely kind and generous with his time and help me find the perfect gift for my mom. You can ask for a better customer service! Also, I have to say that as a building manager myself, that the store is kept extremely clean and well organized. I took some pictures to show off how good the store looks. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for the perfect gift or just a cool place to chill.

Great store with plenty of options. Especially for Harry Potter and anime stuff like One Piece they have rare gems from time to time. People there are also very friendly and helpful.

Dropped by to pick up a book for vacation, left with four and one for my wife. Was looking for specific title and Anna came to the rescue. I only knew two words of the title, and Anna took me to the section that it might be in, but returned within moments and found the title for me. She even made a great suggestion for a book from my wife. Anna was so helpful and brought back old school book store service. Store is well laid out, perfectly lit, great service. Stop buying books from that place named after a big river and shop here at this Barnes & Noble, where you will get personalized service and friendly help. Highly recommend

We all love reading! The price is definitely reasonable. They even have a special display for books, like the new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". The workers are very helpful! They will help you find a book if you need it. Amazing. If you love books, this is the place for you! Recommended! Can you give 6 stars? Because that's what I would rate if possible.

Ah, heaven. There's something so peaceful, so soothing about a bookstore and a library. (Especially the library because it's free okay?) Barnes & Noble has been a staple in my world for so many years, it's always great to see them up and in action and books finding their way into new homes. After a date night out, my partner decided we go to Barnes & Noble to grab some books for our son. What a perfect way to end a date night, imo! This B&N is located in a huge plaza in Buckhead, meaning that there's tons of parking available. There is a Starbucks attached to this location, it's small but there seemed to be some seating. This location is one of the smaller B&Ns that I've seen but they made great use of the space. We started in the children's section of course and they made it such a cute space for little ones! They had a little stage setup along with a bench for seating and extra space for the babes beyond that. The shelves were lined with books of all kind, and even housed some cute stuffed characters from the pages of those exact books. I loved it! There was a wide array of books for children of all ages and a variety of topics. I loved that there was a special section highlighting Black history and culture, as well as a section with books all centered around Georgia! I grabbed a book from each section for our little ATL baby. The bookstore was so clean and so organized, I didn't see a thing out of place. I just wish there was more seating!! I guess they don't want folks getting comfy and reading all the merchandise before they walk out lol. We did find seats near the 'gifts' section which allowed us to go through what we picked up to see what we'd leave with. We ended up with 4 children's books, 1 new book for me and a learning toy for $100. Not too crazy!

The place is on par with other Barnes and noble locations. The only con is that their clearance section isnt very large. Its mostly full of trinkets and old games but not many books.

Great bookstore! I loved seeing so many people who enjoy shopping for actual books like I do. There is just something about holding a book in your hands. The layout of this store is a bit different than others so you don't want to rush when going here. There are lots of nooks and corners to sit down and look at a book in. My child found the books she wanted and I found a book that I didn't need, but purchased b/c it sounded interesting. They have a Starbucks attached is a nice touch also although I do miss the setup where the coffee shop sat in the middle of the store.

Barnes and Nobles and other stand alone bookstores are hard to come by. I miss the days where you could walk in and take a deep breath in smelling all the new books begging to be read. As a family, we used to go to the bookstore once a week and it was a great tradition. Fortunately and unfortunately, with the rise of Amazon and other online stores, places like these can no longer compete so I was glad to find this store still around. Over in the Buckhead area although nestled in a strip mall, this Barnes and Nobles can be easily seen from the main road. I saw it a few times before I needed to go in to find some travel books. I didn't have enough time to buy my books online so in some ways I'm glad I had this opportunity to check out this location. This is a pretty big store and if you're looking for books that are popular or not even that popular, they'll probably have it. You can even make your purchase online and pick it up at the store. The reality is though most people are coming to the bookstore to spend time there so you'll see a lot of people doing just that. It's also nice that they have a Starbuck's next door creating that nostalgia for the era of coffee/bookstore pairings. I was pretty impressed with their selection of travel/guide books available. Although this section is pretty disorganized (Algeria was in Europe ...), they have most of the common (and some not so common) countries covered. They also have some great maps as well if you're the type of person who likes to have one handy when they travel. Some of you may remember that Barnes and Nobles has a membership card that costs about $25 a year to join. I believe there are perks and discounts associated with it and once upon a time it was worth it... not anymore. I do really like the location and they are pretty decently sized to make the trip out here worth it. The strip mall is pretty popular so parking can be a challenge. A great experience and I hope to find some time just to peruse their books!

Oh, J knows me. He knows my "happy place" is a bookstore (his is an airplane, so note that I know him, too). And yesterday, after work, I got to indulge myself for several hours reading through what I would buy with the gift certificate he gave me as part of my Easter "basket" - gosh, I had fun. I finally settled on a couple of cooking magazines and a fascinating book called Drunk Tank Pink by Adam Alter, about how the things we see, do, what our names are, etc affect all we do and are . . .the nerdy psych major in me is thrilled with this tome. This BN gets busy and at one point I was able to snag a seat at an open table (rather than sit on the windowsill like the other few folks and I had been doing) but then I saw this sweet young couple come in who were looking to study - and he was wearing a Wildcat Tennis sweatshirt . . . well, heck, I played tennis at Westminster so the least I could do was give them my table! Happy Saturday afternoon for all.

I read some of the reviews before coming to this location and didn't know what to expect, but I ended having a really positive experience! There was one gentleman that helped me find a couple sections I was looking for throughout the store and was super helpful and kind. Then the lady that checked me out was very friendly too. I've missed going to bookstores and sorting through books in person. I still buy books in physical copy, as opposed to e-version, so today's trip really reinforced that choice and will likely make me frequent B&N more often again

The best large bookstores in the Atlanta area are Barnes & Noble -- I think they have a monopoly -- and I rank this one second to the one at Perimeter, which is the best. However, this B&N has some nice features that propel it over its Georgia Tech and Edgewood cousins. First things first, this B&N shares space in a Publix-anchored shopping center. It's a nice Publix so that may be an additional reason to come here. But it makes parking a little difficult. Inside of the store, there's an adjacent Starbucks. Not a B&N staffed Starbucks, from what I can tell, but an actual store. That's major. There's outdoor seating as well. If you have a Nook, you can read books at the Starbucks, using B&N's services. That's awesome. The B&N itself has a large selection of books. Right there it's better than most of its counterparts. Secondly, unlike Edgewood Avenue, there is not a large selection of kids games. I prefer that so that there is a great selection of books. Plus the kids section is neatly in a mezzanine area in the back of the store. Great for families and folks browsing for books. The only drawback, which is intentional, is that there is not a lot of seating to read those books. Unlike the Perimeter store where the Starbucks is located in the middle of the store and has great seating around it, should you want to camp out, do some studying and buy some books. (Or meet a friend for coffee with something else to do.) This B&N has almost no seating, which makes it difficult to browse for a long time. That drawback places it second to Perimeter, but the rest of the advantages place it above most of the rest of its local peers.

Is this one of the few B&N bookstores left? Heck, is the one of the few brick and mortar bookstores left? It's a B&N, like you remembered. There are books galore, CDs, DVDs, a Starbucks attached, and they even sell Vinyl records. It's been a while (almost 10 years?) since I last stepped into a bookshop. I do miss going there and reading all the magazines and books without buying. Unfortunately, that's all B&N is good for these days. You'll preview the book in the store, go home, and buy it on Amazon. I mentioned vinyl records. You can buy a record player to play those too. I was an 80's kid. So I missed the record player phase. I grew up on cassettes. But flipping through the gorgeous vinyl artwork gave a nice experience. No wonder these are still popular. This B&N has a decent newsstand. I mostly look for photography/art/fashion magazines, and they seem to have some indie ones. I was surprised to see magazines such as iD, V, Interview, Schon, Danske, Dazed, and other smaller, indie fashion magazines. They have a huge parking lot. But they share it with Publix, Starbucks, and other stores. So it is still hard to find parking. I liked this bookstore. It brought back good memories, and they do help find new books you never thought about reading.

Awesome services!! The store is always so neat and clean! They take good care of you right away!

This particular location is packed with homeless people making the shopping experience not so good.

I'm a fan of any bookstore. This B&N is no exception - large enough to carry tons of stuff to browse, a coffee outlet if you need a fix, lots of sale items and best of all, a totally separate section for the rugrats. More tables and chairs would be good, and if they put up a shriek-proof wall to isolate the kid section, a fifth star would be warranted. Parking can be a bear.

Had a large variety of books , everything was neat and organized I was able to find my books quickly efficiently. And was in and out! Which is what every book worm wants!

I showed up late, door locked already on Christmas Eve....and any other business would've said nope, sorry....we're closed...but your girl on the door let me in and saved my holiday!!!! The unique thing about this Barnes and Noble location is all the in-store seating for patrons. In the golden age of Barnes and Noble, there were plush seats throughout the store that invited you to sit for a while and read. Now the only seating you can find in most stores is either in the children's section or in the Starbucks Café. In one the seats are in short supply and in the other the seats are just short. This location features a corridor of tables and chairs one aisle over from the main aisle. There is also a generous row of bench seating just off the steps leading down to the children's section. If nothing is available in either of those areas, you can usually find a seat on a window ledge. This seating area may or may not be adequate for you to flip through a few books. It depends on your body frame. Books are meant to be savored. I frequent this Barnes and Noble because it's one of the last locations in the city that invites you to sit and stay for a while.

Came to return a Nook here. And long story short I got attitude and some unfriendliness from two of the male queen managers. I was told I could return my Nook instore (when calling customer service on BN website), and the first manager said I couldn't b/c of my tender type (paypal).... I asked if he could just CALL Barnes and Noble corporate customer service to double check since they told me I could several times. I assumed they may have a process unfamiliar to them. He said he would check with a senior manager again, I asked if they could just call since they had did not know how to handle it and an older manager may be even more clueless since the tender I spoke of was new to Barnes and Noble (paypal). The higher/senior manager came over and he gave me the same spiel, but in total divo talk, this guy was unnecessarily raising his voice although I remained calm and level headed. I HAAAAAATE attitude, especially when it's undeserved. I plan to never come back to this location and I will tell everyone I know to never go ro buy at this location.

This store literally saved my job!! We had an executive event in Atlanta and I had to order 30 books as a giveaway for prospective clients. I originally went through Amazon but they did not have enough copies in their warehouse. I thought that I would wait to see if they could get more copies on time and 5 days before the event, it was clear that wasn't going to happen. I I approached one of the reps at this Barnes & Nobles to see if they had my book in stock and they didn't either...but that wasn't a problem! They immediately offered to custom order 30 books and deliver it on time! It was almost too good to be true at that point, but that wasn't it. Not only did they offer me a 20% discount providing me with $150 off my original Amazon order but the rep HAND DELIVERED it to the hotel we were staying at for our event. If that isn't a prime example of "southern hospitality" then I don't know what is! 100% will use them again for future events :)

I normally wouldn't rate major chain stores, but I just had to make an exception for this particular location. This B&N has THE largest magazine selection in Atlanta. I can guarantee that. I'm an avid reader of British Vogue, British Elle, British Marie Claire - all of which has shown up at this location at the same time. Most B&N stores stagger when they get these magazines in, often resulting in multiple trips. But the Peachtree B&N always have them at the same time, and usually at the beginning of the month. They also have a good amount of each one, so you won't end up empty handed if you need them. They also carry a large selection of soccer magazines, which is really hard to come by in Atlanta. Some of the titles that I have seen there are One United (Manchester United), Barcelona, and Chelsea in addition to MLS and the rest of the regulars.

Usually, I prefer new over old: "2008 model cars vs. 1998 model cars," "Window Vista vs. Window ME," or "hot Lo Mein noodles which I'm devouring right now vs. a week-old Chinese take-out that is currently sitting in my refrigerator." But when it comes to "Barnes & Noble vs. Border's," I prefer old over new. B&N comes with something that Border's would never have: Tradition and history. What I love about this particular B&N location is how they offer huge tables by the windows, making this place as my #1 studying spot. I know most bookstores have tables near the coffee bar, but I hate the smell of coffee, so I try to stay as far away as I can, which makes me appreciate this store a bit more. The employees are very willing to help and friendly. On top of that, they are located on a very convenient location - with a large private parking lot.

Typical B&N except that there isn't the usual cafe indoors. (Who came up with that idea?) there isn't much seating available. I interacted with about 5 workers here to order books. From the look they gave me, I think they thought me awkward? Or maybe they were kinda odd. Either way, who cares when there's a great selection of books- this branch seems more well-stocked than the Edgewood location, and I'll take awkward and aloof service over intrusiveness any day.

Don't you think it's a little odd when people treat a bookstore like a library? You know, loitering around reading magazines and then taking books off the shelf and reading them (presumptively without purchasing them). That's part of the reason why I prefer to purchase books online. This Barnes and Noble (notice I didn't say "Nobles" as some people seem to think it's called) is in my neighborhood and I came here last week to see NeNe Leakes at her book signing. Angela Y. and I were on hand as the [un]official Yelp celebrities and it was a pretty good signing. The store is large and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would appreciate a little less pressure at the register to get one of their member cards, but I digress...

Great bookstore but the management has got to stop pretending that the homeless people walking around talking to themselves aren't stinking up the place. It's disgusting. The science section literally smells of homeless people who haven't showered for months. That's not cool and it's really unfair to the customers.

For the many years I have lived in between the Borders and the Barnes & Noble, I have much preferred Borders. We all know how that turned out. This Barnes & Noble feels a little old and cramped. This holiday season I really want to try and buy as much from local stores as possible, so far it's not working out too well! Barnes & Noble got me started on the wrong foot for sure. I needed to purchase 2 books as gifts. I looked all over the store and could not find either book, both of which came out earlier this year and are in no way obscure. I went to the customer service desk and a woman looked up both books. She informed me that they do not carry either book in store, but they could order the book for me. OK, I can deal. Until she told me it would be $15 to ship to my house or $10 for in-store pickup. So I said "no thanks" and left. I went home and ordered both books on Amazon and received free shipping and they were here in a few days. I really want to be a supporter of bookstores, but charging more than what a book costs for shipping is ridiculous to me. If it was a Mom & Pop store I would be more apt to cough up the extra dough, but not for a chain. I'll give an extra star for having a Starbucks.

This is a good sized B&N. Parking can be a hassle in front of the store, so trying to find a spot on the other side by Publix is a good idea. There's not much to say about this B&N, that's any different than the other B&N around town. I mean there's the delicious smell of coffee wafting throughout the store, the usual variety of books where maybe they'll have what you're looking for or maybe you'll find something new to pick up, and pretty decent customer service. It's a good thing to check online to see if they have the book you want, because I've driven all the way from Marietta to this Buckhead location to pick up a book I was dying to read. So yay for good inventory keeping. Other than that, their selection isn't the greatest, but between all the B&N none of them have a great selection... It seems to be split between the stores, that if you can't find it at one try another and so on and so forth. But this is a cool B&N and I'll keep stopping by whenever I get the chance.

Love everything about it! Can't replace having such a vast array of books at your fingertips and an enviornment that lets you scan through them to make a great selection.

In age of eBooks, I am still holding out on actual books. I like to read and collect actual books. I stopped by Barnes & Noble at this location and was really disappointed at the service. I waited around the Customer Service counter for some time and no one came. When I finally went to the counter for assistance, the lady was not helpful and seemed bothered by my inquiries related to a book I was considering purchasing. She then sent me back to the Customer Service counter and contacted Manager on Duty. The gentleman arrived and seemed just as bothered by my questions about the book. I decided at that point that the employees at this location don't seem to care about the customers. I'll buy my books elsewhere. Not coming back

The problem with big bookstores in general is that they're obsolete. Especially this one. It's basically the public library. You go in and theres lots of people camped out, but very few of them are actually buying anything. This is fine because if you do need help finding anything good luck getting a staff member. When I was here, there were 2 people working. 1 was at the register and was helping some customers there. The other was in the music department sitting by himself on the floor texting on his phone. I asked the guy for a little help finding something and he snapped at me that he wasn't allowed to leave his area. Um, thanks for the great customer service there buddy. So I left without buying anything. I went online to Amazon.com, found exactly what I wanted, read many reviews from others which gave me a good idea of whether or not I wanted the book, and I bought it, knowing that a return to Amazon is just as easy if not easier than having to go back to the store to return the thing. I can see why a store like Barnes and Noble can't compete easily with Amazon. You can't find anything, you can't get anyone to help you, even if you do find what you want, theres no way to get an idea of whether or not its any good. Maybe you'll get that 1 staff member's opinion but whats that compared to hundreds of opinions on Amazon. No this place is definately the public library now, which if thats what you're looking for, a place to crash and drink Starbucks and read stuff for free, go for it. If you're looking to actually buy stuff and get good service...um pass.

Recently, I visited this Barnes & Noble location on a Friday afternoon after shopping at Atlantic Station. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the store and the friendliness of the staff, and I like the fact that there's a Starbucks next door! The store itself isn't nearly as large as my favorite Barnes & Noble at the Mall of Georgia, but it's a good size. As I browsed through the store, the employees didn't bug me with questions on whether I needed help or whatnot, but they smiled at me indicating that they were there to help if I needed it. Since I needed to send a couple emails and couldn't wait to drive 40 minutes back to my house to use my laptop, I was *super* lucky and found an open table right by the window! There are a few tables by the windows as well as some benches near the back wall. I love, love, LOVE the fact that Barnes & Noble stores offer free Wi-Fi to their customers! There's a good-sized children's book section, and their restrooms are located past this section. Yay for their clean ladies restroom! Overall, this Barnes & Noble gets 4 stars for their cleanliness, friendly staff, good selection of books and magazines, and free Wi-Fi! I would definitely come to this Barnes & Noble again if I'm in the neighborhood. [Review 082 of 366]

I'm not a fan of this Barnes. There's a dearth of customer service reps and you can't bring unpaid merchandise into the adjoining cafe. I don't treat bookstores like a library, but I do love narrowing down the stack of books that caught my eye over a chai latte. Much more pleasant than kneeling in the aisle. But of course, I am a book addict and a Barnes and Noble member and I always buy 5+ books at a time, so there's more volume where I'm involved. After waiting for ten minutes at the customer service center, someone finally came to help. I asked her to order a few books that they didn't have in stock and she refused, which was surprising. She said they could only order stuff that I prepay for, which is ridiculous. I've ordered lots of books at other Barnes stores before and I never had to prepay for anything. I think I'll stick to the Georgia Tech/Midtown location. Even though this location is well-stocked with easy parking and there's never a line at the register, quality customer service is important to me.

It's Barnes and Noble I still don't understand why the staff is so high pressure like they work at the dmv SMH

This Barnes & Noble has a built-in, full-sized Starbucks. Need I say more? The store itself is large. And has a great selection. And the only reason it gets 4 stars, instead of 5, is for the severe lack of seating. Buy some more chairs, guys!

Best (only?) place for magazines around here. Good selection, but of course not everything, and they run out of Barron's during the week (so get it while you can early in the week).

I love bookstores - but this Barnes and Noble just feels a little too busy for a quiet place to read or study. It is so nice that a Starbucks is nearby (had a couple college interviews there - got into Stanford there woot!) but the chairs and tables on the side of the store are always being used! So - great spot for buying books but maybe not for serious studying. Try, your school library or something!

I was unaware that books depreciated so quickly. I tried to return a $40 GRE study book, and because it was more than 15 days out they would not accept the return. The book had not even been opened and the online user guide had not been lost and to you, the book was just as it was when I bought it! I can't believe that a bookstore would have such an unwillingness to accept an unused book. Unacceptable. I don't think I'll be shopping at Barnes & Noble again, I was trying to do my part and supporting storefront retail, but I think I will stick with Amazon.

i have been to this barnes & noble booksellers a couple of times, normally no complaints. but today i first went to the one on cobb and they did not have the book i needed so they called this one and they had one left. come to find out this author and publisher are no longer making this book. only one other store had it and it was too far for me. the book at edgewood and the book at buckhead locations were both out of plastic. i asked the clerk at cobb location to make sure the book was in great condition since it was out of plastic he stated that the woman on the phone said it was great. i get to buckhead location to find my book slightly damaged with a bruise/tearing on the front cover. the manager couldn't seem to discount the book at all kept saying only way for him to discount it is the damage had to be noticeable WHICH IT IS, this book is clearly sold out and website wasn't any help either because i had someone check already. so i paid full price for a damaged item. his name was james and wasn't too polite or sorry about the damage to the front of the book. you say you can't do anything at all in regards to a damage. and then turn around and say that you can only discount if it's noticeable. SO THEREFORE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING! i paid FULL PRICE for a damaged limited quantity item. it's noticeable because it will be on a coffee table. i understand price match is hard here at this store but to discount something for a damaged item that clearly i didn't do especially if the item normally comes in plastic is RIDICULOUS.

Would have to say this is my least favorite place to come to buy a book. There is a woman that works in the "customer service" section and is so rude and unfriendly. She acts like its a burden to "help" you. Not a smile, thank you, NOTHING! Sorry to bother you! Maybe you shouldn't work in this line of work. Customer service is not your cup of tea!

Thid barns and noble is ridicules. I purchased 4 books they charged me for 5 books, i went home and found on receipt they charged me for 5 books. I called to request refund. They were making all the excuses and were not refunding my money.. Why will i go there again??

This store provided my college part-time job for years. It was always well-organized and the customer service is top-notch, if I do say so myself. Seriously, the employees here are quite friendly and a credit to the human race. Although I've spent enough hours in this book store to last me for the rest of my entire life, I still drop in when I need a new novel because it's easy to navigate, and I know they'll usually have what I want in stock. Hurrah for B&N!

This Barnes and Noble location is excellent! They have very friendly Starbucks staff, a knowledgable staff regarding the actual layout of the store and the books for retail. I ordered 50 Shades Of Kale recently, and thy had it for me in only a few days. No complaints :).

Great location, excellent selection, nice and sunny. The staff is quite helpful. My only suggestion is that they keep more people up front at the help desk and that when you are helped, the person shouldn't just run off into the stacks of books without letting you know if you are supposed to wait at the desk, follow them, or assume the clerk will be back. I love bookstores and this is a good one.

It is no wonder that brick and mortar bookstores are going under! Called to see if they could extend the time for a magazine I had on hold but was told no even though this is the November issue of a magazine and December is already out. What?!?!?! Ridiculous!! I was going to pay to have it shipped to me even though it would cost more that the magazine to have it shipped, but then the manager disconnected the call. I called back and got a woman who was not the manager and she kindly told me that there were quite a few issues on the shelf and that I should try to come in on Saturday rather than pay the additional cost. She sounded like she also disagreed with this inane policy but could not say so! If I could purchase this magazine on Amazon, I would do so!!!

i met an author here, they allowed me to tell her poses to do really quick for a picture, the camera lady was very kind, they lady cutting off my wristband was very catious, and she nicely handed me a signed copy of the authors book, im very happy with the service.

I wish they could get it right. I called in and asked an associate to hold a book for me. Gave them my information, they said I could pick up the book. Barnes & Noble's holds books for three days. The day I called and placed a hold on the order, I specifically stated I'll pick the book up tomorrow. Went to pick up the book the next day, "oh I don't see it" is what I was told when I walked up to the cashier's counter. The young lady then sent me to the Customer Service desk, I explained the situation and the bookseller stated "the book was either not held or we never have it" even though their website states this location has the book in stock. What's up with Barnes & Noble's website showing items in stock only to get there and the book is nowhere to be found? Can we say bad inventory and lack of customer communication? A call would have been really nice "We made a mistake. Don't come out in traffic to get this book, we don't have it." something along those lines. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Barnes & Noble's. I've been a loyal customer for about 7 years and I've never had as many issues with them as I've been having lately. I'll just order my books from Amazon from here on out. I might have to wait a few days to read it but at least "in stock" means in stock.

Great people. Remind me of home. Art was very helpful in showing me where the Atlanta books are (I'm new in town). I'm used to Borders...so sad they're going away. My new home is B&N! Hope they hang in there. Everyone was friendly.
