It has been years since I have been to this retailer.i like the variety of inventory I found many unique items. Pleasant atmosphere with wide aisles. What I didn't like was that most items were overpriced, not that there weren't bargains to be had.

Love this store! Almost always has the book I’m looking for in stock, and has a great gift department also. Plus, the staff is always nice, pleasant, and they go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for.

CCC cabins were very nice. They were essentially one room that acted as living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom but that was fine since we were just there to hangout with friends. The bathrooms are small but big enough to be functional. This isn't luxury but it's much more convenient than tent camping. Lighting over the stove could be better though.

Barnes & Noble is my happy place. I’ve been far too many times this past month. They got me to try a new drink at the cafe too. Try a chai latte with 2 pumps of brown sugar syrup. Hot or cold. Best thing ever.

I love to shop at Barnes and Noble! They have a very large selection of gifts, they almost always have the books I’m looking for, and the kids really like their toys and games section! This location has a new Starbucks Cafe, and their online pickups are always ready for me within an hour!

Well run Barnes & Noble. Really dig who's ordering their Horror section, whether local or corporate.... it's nice to find a Horror section that isn't 85% Stephen King. Helpful, knowledgeable staff.

This place is like a candy store to me. I could browse here for hours and never get tired of it. The staff have been great for as long as I can remember. My only complaint is that I don't live closer.

Years ago, the store would have received much higher marks from me. Recently went in there and search of a book which was listed as available. Most of the books were gone and the associates couldn't help me find the book I was looking for. The store was pretty much full of non-book merchandise: toys, expensive, greeting cards, etc. Less room for sitting down to just look at a book which I really appreciated having prior to this. Finally found the book I was looking for and checked it out , but I missed the way Barnes & Noble used to be.

Cute bookshop with standard bookstore offerings and friendly service. A nice uncrowded cafe and a welcoming environment.

Decent bookstore ran by a terrible manager. I was with a meetup group and this manager constantly hounded us about where we sat in the cafe area and wouldn't let us use an empty table on the other side (she claimed it was for displays only, but there was nothing on the table until after we were done) extreme unprofessionalism from this woman.

I flipping love this place... I mean books, games ,coffee, gifts and things galore. I am an avid reader so this is my jam. Always helpful staff. If they can't find it in store then they can usually order the book you are seeking. Big sale going on right now so get yourself there quick like.. love BnN!!!

Clean with a large selection of books. Staff is very knowledgeable. The cafe has a great selection of coffee drinks, desserts, and pastries. I had the Oreo cheesecake - it was delicious. And it came on a nice plate with a fork (no plastic cutlerh

I love this Barnes & Noble in particular. It is always clean and organized. The restrooms are spacious and clean. The customer service is exceptional. They have an enormous magazine selection if you are looking for a print version in addition to your favorite digital magazine. In addition, they have a large selection of "nerdery" toys and games (e.g. Game of Thrones figures, Harry Potter toys, Classic Board Games, & Dr. Who. BTW, they have Pusheen collectibles and many more fan favorite products). Don't search or read part of your favorite book or magazine without purchasing a Latte or desert from this spotless, efficient Starbucks. Happy reading and writing: if you need a diary, they have a wonderful creative selection. Moreover, this Barnes and Noble is located in an affluent, safe section of Knoxville. Take your time. They have chairs and benches for reading. Enjoy!

This is a great Barnes & Noble location. It is a well kept store in a nice part of town. The kid's area has a fantastic train table where my son can play while I enjoy coffee from the Starbucks cafe. Each Saturday there is a children's storytime, the subject of which can be found on their website. I've noticed they carry a large selection of American Girl books and accessories, as well as Disney toys and books. It's a sure bet when gift shopping for kids of all ages. Obviously, the prices are higher than what you can find on Amazon. If your goal is to buy books at bargain-basement prices, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're willing to spend a bit more for the bookstore experience, I highly recommend this store!

Barnes and Noble might do well to employ cashiers who are more focused on helping customers buy things and less focused on petting dogs and having a bit of a chat

I came in for some HESI A2 books and the employees were so helpful! They helped me find what I needed. The one guy was at the customer help station and he had curly hair and the other lady was actually working at Starbucks and they both were great. I didn't have any issues until I went to checkout. My total was $70 and I got a few big test prep books, and when I checked out the cashier refused to give me a bag. He refused to give me a bag for my expensive test prep books on a rainy day. His name was Brandon and he's the one with the bowl cut. I already called and complained about him to corporate and the manager. I wouldn't have been as mad if he hadn't given the white man in front of me a giant bag for his one small book, but he did! He gave the man in front of me a big bag for his one book and then refused me a bag. Maybe it's because I'm a woman or because I'm Asian, I don't know, but if you buy almost $100 worth of expensive and heavy books you deserve a bag. This discrimination is just wrong. Barnes and noble is the last book store in town, definitely will be switching to Amazon for all my book needs. Update: The store manager reached out to me and apologized for Brandon's actions, which I really appreciate. Their customer service is worth 5 stars, but even so it was cheaper for me to return the books and order from Amazon.

Went today with my son for the Lego Skyline Architecture build and he had a good time. There was 2 different ones they got to build. The New York & Venice. The table we were at, my son got to help build the Venice which was fairly easy and they put it together in about 30 minutes. The New York one was a little more intricate and it took that table about an hour and half to get done. The staff while there was nice and it was a great way to meet new people. I was happy to find out they do things like this a few times per year, so hopefully we will be able to do it again. He also liked that he got a free shirt for attending the build.

I enjoy shopping in this store! It is nicely laid out and the employees are helpful and friendly. There are lots of choices for your reading pleasure. I was looking for the book Dumplin which Dolly Patton has written the music or soundtrack for the movie. They sent me to the teen reading section and I was able to buy it

I feel weird reviewing a big chain store but I was compelled to do it by the great service I routinely experience here. The staff here isn't just friendly, they have gone out of their way to be helpful. For example, one of our Nooks wasn't working anymore so we brought it in to an employee who replaced the bad battery with one from her own since they didn't have any in stock. No cost and she spent time making sure it worked before we left. Of course the store is nice, with a huge magazine collection and a decent modern book collection. Plus you can read any book on your Nook for free for an hour each day while you're in the store. It's a great way to sample books. The day we were there they were also giving free coffee to anyone with a Nook. I'm glad our hometown Barnes and Noble is this one. I'm looking forward to spending more time there.

I stopped going a while back because of the low selection of books that you could get at Walmart or Amazon sometimes for half the price. I also wish it was bigger with two stories to provide more sitting. I like to sit down and read the books I get for an hour and sometimes it was impossible because it would be too busy or not enough room. I also wish for more magazine space. You can't even see some of the titles. Coming here just makes me miss Borders. Expand please!

Was looking for a map of the United States for my 6 year old grandson to mark all the places he has traveled to. Found great one here!

This Location is small I know, but I had a list of about 20 books that I have wanted to buy, and this store had NONE of them! I wandered around for about an hour and a half and I was helped maybe 2 times! Although the two times I was helped it was a friendly at least. But not outweighed by my overall dissatisfaction. And don't even get me started on the Starbucks in the cafe there!

We attended this bookstore for a book reading and had a fabulous time. The store staff was super helpful and insured that the event went smoothly. The store is very large and it even has a decent size Starbucks Cafe with an area to sit in. The Cafe serves beverages along with food. They have frequent events in the store for children of all ages which is a great way to help keep children interested in books. Along with books, they also sell toys and games. The store offers Free Wi-Fi which is a bonus if you are spending a decent amount of time in the store. It is nice to find a brick and mortar bookstore with a helpful staff.

Bad management, someone would imagine that the goal of this book store is to bring customers through the door, but instead here in this store, the management removed the ONE AND ONLY TABLE in the store. this book store is close to a major University, they should provide couple areas for customers to sit and read after purchasing a book, I purchased the book "the 4 hours work week" and wanted to read it right there. couple of weeks ago there were one table for customers in the entire store, I spoke to the manager, he said Corporate get to decide, I said did corporate send you a memo saying please remove the one and only table in the store, effective immediately? he said yes, and turn away from me and left.

Love this place! I love books so I come here quite often. It's always organize and clean. On top of that, the baristas @ Starbuck there are always friendly and helpful.

I love to read, it's my calm. This B&N is a fairly large store with a very big Starbucks area to sit in. However, that's almost the only place to sit in this store. Haven't seen any other chairs or tables around the store. Also twice I came looking for a book, and both times they did not have in store but had to order for me which is okay, but why have volume 3 on the shelves and not the first two volumes? Maybe they were out, but I mean I waited almost a week to go get the second volume and still wasn't in stock. I still love B&N.

Very rude staff. My wife was literally physically assaulted and stolen from by one of their employees. We had to file a police report. Needless to say we will not be returning.

This business signed me up for auto renewal membership when I bought a one year membership and did not tell or ask if I wanted it. I never agree to that kind of thing. One year later with NO advanced warning the took $25 from my account. The local store was unhelpful after being on hold for 8 minutes. I did get a refund from headquarters.

Worst service ever. We were there for a book signing, off course they said the members go first in line and no after that regular customer will have a chance. Completely lie we were there for 4 hours still waiting and they continue letting members get in line. So basically they want everyone to buy a membership to get in line. Also nobody was on the back of the line to verify is real members were getting in line. Very unorganized, make my family and especially my kids unfairly wait for over 4 hours. This is ridiculous worst experience ever. They need to hire more competitive personal next time to make this experience pleasant for everyone. Just another overpriced book store. What a disappointment.

I go to this B&N at least once a week. I can easily spend two hours there. But then again I am a book junkie! Seriously, this store is fantastic! The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a large selection of magazines, and they have a great children"s section! A must for book lovers!

Really, really great store. Would love to see an expanded history section with more in stock but they will order anything they can for you. I bought the membership and it gives me discounts like crazy, even in the café.
