"It’s time to check out this moody, elegant new bar downtown if you haven’t already — the stylish haven now offers lunch, happy hour, and late-night hours. Happy Hour is Wednesday through Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. — a rarity — and offers $2 Champagne; $3 domestics; and $5 wine and specialty cocktails while you munch on discounted charcuterie, crab and crawfish bisque, pork sliders, and more." - Eater Staff

"The former lauded craft cocktail destination Victory Bar is now a 100 percent woman-owned cocktail lounge, Baroness on Baronne (or the Baroness for short). There’s new, romantic decor, moody lighting, and a menu stacked with fresh, creative house cocktails, well-done classics, and even a specialty shot, the Gas Masque, with Chartreuse and Stroh rum and lit on fire." - Clair Lorell, Eater Staff

The Best Restaurants in New Orleans’s Central Business District (CBD) | Eater New Orleans

"This CBD wunder-bar is full of surprises. Terrific cocktails are priced between $8 and $13, and there are zero-proof drinks for the sober curious. The reasonably priced lunch menu includes the Cajun pizza, a half-pound cheeseburger, and pulled pork sliders. The Baroness also has a VIP room, described as a tantric oasis. Make of that what you will." - Beth D’Addono

Google
I cannot say enough positive things about this place and the owners and entire staff!! I hosted a social event for work here this weekend and had an amazing time. The owners were so easy to work with and they supported the vibe that I was going for. We had over 70 people attend and everyone fit comfortably in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome!! We had so much fun they matched the music to the overall vibe of the event and the owners were attentive the entire time!! I recommend any and everyone to come check out this place and even host their party here. Thank you all so much for providing such an amazing space for us! We will definitely be back!! Also love that it is a Black Owned business!

Google
Very nice little bar and restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are made with love. Nice eclectic decor. Within walking distance of the Aloff hotel. Augusta is a great bartender!

Google
This is a cute place for a get together with your friends. Following the Saints game, we left our initial location and proceeded to Baroness. The drinks were delicious and the ambiance was up my alley. Great customer service, clean restrooms, and friendly staff! I plan on returning in the near future…

Google
I was in town with my sister for the weekend, and this place served the best food we had the entire trip! We ordered the shrimp pasta and the creole pizza and both were amazing! Cooked to perfection! As good as the shrimp pasta was, the pizza was the best part! The flavor and freshness was on point! Gabriel (the cook) did his thang! He really threw down and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Google
We recently hosted our welcome party for our wedding at Baroness on Baronne and we had such a great experience. The cocktails were great (they even did a his/hers drink for us) and the service was excellent. We loved the space and having the outdoor space in front available to us to. Great place for a group event but I'm sure it's perfect just for a cocktail or three too. Highly recommend!

Google
We were from out of town and wanted to find great bar food near our hotel. The vibe was so chill and easy. The food was so great! We had the shrimp pasta and creole pizza. So good!! Gabriel was the Chef and he did a great job! Great flavors, good portions, prices are fair! Coming back for Gabriel's food and kindness!

Google
Do not go there. 20% tip added to my bill without notice. Three guests. Wrong food served. First drink like colored water. Server disappeared. Bartender checked me out. Rude and antagonistic.

Black-owned food was delicious, cocktails were amazing and the service was impeccable 👌🏽. Support this restaurant experience, you won't be disappointed

Yelp
We hosted a professional social event at Baroness on 11/23/24 and it was OUTSTANDING from top to bottom. The venue was very accommodating and welcoming, the food was excellent, and they created signature drinks that were delicious! The arrangement of the space in different rooms also created great opportunities for conversation. Next time we're in NOLA, we will definitely book Baroness for our event.

Yelp
Baroness is the perfect late night hang out spot. I come for the tasty drinks, yummy creole pizza and crab au gratin dip when I'm out with friends. I stay for the chill vibes and good music. I love that there's space at the bar but also comfy private spaces for more intimate gatherings with friends. I also just recently discovered the VIP area in the back that's available for rent for parties. It has a smaller bar and televisions. Super cute!

Yelp
Came on rainy day since our hotel was across the street and bar was pretty empty. Decor was cool, music was loud but was to my liking RnB. But the rest went downhill from there. Service was slow to take our order and actually our drinks. We were a party of 4 and the drinks came out one at time and within 5 minutes of each other. The crab dip was good, but the pita was too crisp. The crispy brussel sprouts were soggy and overcooked. There was absolutely no crisp. Convenient for the Fairfield Inn in terms of location but definitely forgettable.

Yelp
This is a great spot! My friend and I stopped in before a show one night. They have a great cocktail menu and the two drinks I had were both delicious. The bartender was great and the other people there were super friendly. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
Service is slow! The food was good once we finally received it. Love the little cut outs for small gatherings or a date night. Good music and an overall good vibe. Will be back for a chill evening. Located on Barone, but there is plenty of street parking.

Yelp
The cocktails are terrific and the food, when they have it, is super tasty. Not all items on the menu were available, and theirs is a QR e-menu, which should be easy to update. It was comical, like an old SNL skit: "I'd like an order of scallops." "Sorry, no scallops." "OK. I'd like the Brussels sprouts." "Sorry, no Brussels sprouts." I ended up with the SOB sliders, which were amazing and the charcuterie board, which was tasty if not imaginative. The ambiance is "upscale neighborhood bar," and the service was very pleasant and not pushy. I'd go again, and would recommend it to others.

Yelp
We came here because the concierge at our hotel recommended this place. When we googled reviews, they did have 4.4 stars out of 5 so we thought it would be good. I can't speak for the drinks because we just had beer and house wine for the happy hour special. The music was nice, we happened to come when there was a filming of the restaurant for promotional purposes. The food looked nothing like the pics on the menu and it all came out at different times. I ordered the truffle popcorn and the skillet shrimp pasta in a cream sauce....there was no cream and I MAY have had 4 tiny shrimp, not even cocktail shrimp size in the pasta. I had to ask for seasoning because there was none. The truffle popcorn seemed to be microwave popcorn with truffle seasoning on it (the second batch I got was good, first batch had lots of popcorn seeds sitting on top...the guy who made up the bowl wasn't happy I sent it back, it should never have been served in the first place)...AND it came out after I got the skillet pasta. The server I believe was new, he admitted to only having the burger, nothing else on the menu and he wasn't very attentive. I wanted to like this place and be able to tell others about it if they ever come down to The Big Easy but I cannot....

Yelp
We did the Drink Lab cocktail making class upstairs first and it was AMAZING and worth the money! The history and education that are included with the class are A1. We had such a great time during the class that we spent the rest of the evening downstairs at Baroness of Baronne. All of the food, drinks, shots (gas mask shot) were great! GO!

Yelp
Hit this place up.. wasn't impressed; my waitress was great- she was helpful. It's a bar so take it for what it is.. dark.. loud music... etc. the food was less than stellar. I snagged happy hour thankfully cause if I had paid full price I would have been very disappointed. I ordered the muffalata sliders.. they were literally all bread very little meat and probably 2 olives chopped up on each with a slice of cheese. I also ordered a charcuterie board... it literally was 2 chocolate covered pretzels, 4-5 small crackers, like 5 slices of pepperoni and 5 of salami (like you buy at the deli counter at Walmart in the bag) there was a few small chunks of cheese.. a small wedge of Brie.. a couple nuts.. it does normally come with fruit but I asked for it without because I don't eat berries. I would suggest you skip this appetizer. Sorry missed a pic of this.

Yelp
The food is solid, I had the chicken wrap and it was more sweet than savory or spicy. The waiter was kind and funny, but the bartender was slow and rude. She was probably overwhelmed but goodness it was just not okay to be rude to our group (approx 20 Black and Brown folx for an event).

Yelp
Loved this place. The bartenders were amazing, the ambiance was perfect, the DJ was on point, and the owners interact with customers which is huge. Definitely will visit again next time I'm in town!

Yelp
I have to agree with other posts in that this is a business that makes you wait - for no reason. I can't express the feeling of approaching the completely empty bar and waiting patiently while two bar staff have a conversation and don't even care to look my way. After hearing all about their complaints about work issues I had to break their conversation and that surely looked to annoy them. This happened twice when I approached the bar. We were stoked about this place too, what a disappointment. Had the service been acceptable this place would have all of the elements of a weekly Happy Hour visit. However, it was revealing with the lack of service why there were no regulars (or anyone) attending the Happy Hour. Oddly, our food was served so quick that it was a pleasant surprise. The food wasn't spectacular but decent for Happy Hour. The place is very cute inside with nice artwork on the walls, was very clean, and has the potential for a good vibe. Just hoping to have a better experience next time.

Yelp
Quaint but upscale Black-owned craft cocktails & cuisine! We had truffle popcorn too, but it was too yummy to remember to take a photo. Oops!! Yummy cocktails and truffle popcorn. A must visit while in NOLA!!!

Yelp
This place was awesome! We found this little gem while staying at the Homewood Suites. It's a small bar in between Poydras and Canal. We visited on a Sunday night and they were playing very nice R&B tunes. We decided to order Hurricanes....I've had a Hurricane just about every time I've visited New Orleans, but I am convinced that was the best Hurricane I've ever had! Better yet, that was probably the best drink I've had since I turned 21 and started enjoying adult beverages! The bartender that took care of us was the young lady with the neat glasses. We also tried the crab dip and it was amazing. We returned the next night, but the vibe was different and it was much quieter although there was a live band. I'm sure we will return!

Yelp
This is a quaint/small place with a nice bar and good service. We stopped in for Dinner on Feb 25, 2024. We ordered the Korean BBQ Bowl, Charcuterie Creation and Creole Meatball Appetizer. Everything was delicious. The highlight was the charcuterie which contained many meat, cheeses, crackers and fruits for a reasonable price.

Yelp
I'd leave zero stars if I could. 5 employees standing at bar or walking back and forth with 4 more people working on a "selfie wall." After being seated with a *food* menu and being brought drinks (no water - water is self serve?!)...no one checked on us. Finally, 30 minutes later, I got up and walked over to one of the group of employees that were literally standing behind the bar talking to each other. When asked if we could please order, they said that they have no servers and weren't able to take a food order. They did find the energy to walk over with the check for our drinks - ha! We went to a restaurant 'round the corner and ran up quite a tab - this business really missed the boat here. In this part of New Orleans, there are many, many places ready to serve you great food and drinks with a smile, so there really are no excuses for this experience. Absolutely do NOT recommend this establishment.

Yelp
Bartender was not very friendly, old fashioned was mediocre at best, food is subpar. I would not recommend.

Yelp
This is formerly Victory Bar. A bunch of the menu items remained with the name change. I was so happy to see my favorite drink still on the menu (bare necessities-pictured here). The atmosphere is very relaxed. Great for date night and gathering with friends.

Yelp
After we took our drink mixing class with Owen we headed downstairs for Owen to show us we. Oils do since we played bartender upstairs. Ryan made us a few perfectly crafted drinks. Will return to have fun here again I'm in Nola. Best drinks ever, good music and chill vibe with little intimate seating along with bar area

Joseph K.

Yelp
Happened to be walking and came across this gem in New Orleans. what pulled us in was the Sunday night quartet playing jazz - clarinet, bass, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. Amazing music. Drinks made by the owner - wonderful drinks. Would have on my itinerary as a must stop! A++++, 5/5 stars! You

Yelp
The Baroness is a nice bar/lounge. There's a decent amount of seats and great bartenders. I really enjoyed the Baron (smoked sausage and chips). I was out for drinks with friends and we ended the night on a high note at Baroness . I had a tequila shot and then I had the famous the Gas Mask shot. The gas mask shot involves a whole process that is really fun. I definitely recommend this place for happy hour. Enjoy!

Yelp
If you are looking for a great bar place away from the crowd and secluded. This place is for you. They layout is lovely and the drinks are great. They don't have a chef kitchen as you would expect for food but what they have is efficient. We tried the jerk wrap and lasagna roll. The jerk wrap was fantastic, the popcorn is bagged. you've been warned. The lasagna roll has shrimp which started out great until I hit one that tasted spoil. If you have ever had any seafood that is borderline spoil you know the distinct taste. Outside of that disappointment and the size of the shrimp being small non gulf shrimp the pasta and sauce and cheese were palatable. Just overall go for the drinks and the atmosphere and not the food.

Yelp
Worst pizza ever. I should have know when I caught the cook sniffing the sauce to see if was still good. The pizza was under cooked and could not be eaten. WORST PIZZA EVER. SOGGY AND BASICALLY RAW.

Walker D.

Yelp
Ryva treat us with a world class cocktail with a real passion behind the pour. The food was great and I highly recommend anyone coming to town and wants that little spun thing extra stop by and enjoy a hidden gem.

Haley M.

Yelp
Such a great experience! Sierra & Sara were the best bartenders. The food and cocktails were unmatched. Definitely our favorite spot yet in New Orleans

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Camille and her staff were EXCEPTIONAL!! From the time we walked in she was hospitable and gracious. The drinks were Divine... Refreshing and Classy much like the entire Vibe. The crab dip was well seasoned and balanced with loads of crabmeat. The sausage was good, had tangy coleslaw addition that left a nice crunch. The scallops were good would prefer bacon a bit crispier. Can't wait to bring back family and my friends from Southwest Airlines.. about to share right NOW!!

Taijanea P.

Yelp
im rating this place 2 stars , this was actually one of my favorite bars to go to on a late night but the bartender with the Mohawk was so rude I probably won't ever be back , she look as she didn't want to serve us because we look young , I let that slide I asked her for a strawberry martini and she told me that it was no such thing not only did she tell me she was very aggressive for no reason ! If you want to be treated like a child and a idiot this is the perfect place to go .
google avatar

Tari O.

Yelp
Fun late night spot with music, food and sections. Good music as well from 90s r&b to trap. A little narrow so hard to mix with anyone outside your section. If you're not in a section you won't have much space to stand.
google avatar

LaShawn W.

Yelp
1 star because the pizza was a hot ass mess!! Undercooked and 29 bags of shredded cheese on top! I literally felt sick just taking a few bites! Ambiance is cool for a late night spot but please DO NOT spend ur money on that nasty ass pizza!
google avatar

Yelp
Come for the libations stay for the art. Enjoyed the most decadent sage infused cocktail and my first sazerac.

Yelp
Victory Bar was a pretty cute spot for happy hour. The venue itself is a little run-down, and the noticeable warping of the floor was a little off-putting. With some tlc and a little floor polish & dusting, the space could really shine. The staff were a bit pre-occupied, but friendly enough once you were able to get their attention. I attended with a good size group, and that can get hectic, however the expectation is certainly that the staff is able to manage the facility at 25% capacity. There were some great snacks available, and I really enjoyed the baked brie. While I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for a return visit, if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't be against stopping by.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
This one gets 5 stars....comfortable environment. Local and tourist spot. Every time I'm here I enjoy the signature cocktails. Drinks are pricey but it's well worth it. They accommodate a big party to something intimate. It's in the heart of the CBD so there will be a descent crowd but not to packed to wear your shoulder to shoulder. Bar seating as well as tables to enjoy a nice cocktail over conversation. There is also a lounge area with sofas close to the bathroom area. The food is tasteful I would recommend the truffle popcorn as a good bar snack followed by a fresh baked pizza.

Curtis G.

Yelp
Kendra and Thaddeus are the bomb .com!! Great drinks, awesome personalities, and delicious food!! We witnessed an overly aggressive, belligerent, patron be handled swiftly and correctly by the amazing staff. We were able to get back to partying within seconds!! Loved it there.
google avatar

Zachary K.

Yelp
This is a great spot for hand crafted drinks. We came in for dinner and drinks based on other yelpers high reviews of this place and were not disappointed. Think of this place as more of a cool drink spot with a few staple dishes than a dinner spot with drinks, as the menu is relatively small. We got the Spicy Brussel Sprouts and the Korean BBQ Lettuce Wraps and the Little Boy Blue. They brought us the house drink as a sample, a brandy with fruit punch mixture, and it was ok, but probably wouldn't order had it not been a free sample. The Brussel sprouts had good flavor, not too hot and worked well with the aioli but the texture was more like they were frozen or steamed before baked as they were kind of mushy. On the wraps, the chicken had a better flavor than the beef but both were flavorful. My only takeaway was there was a ton more meat than lettuce. I would definitely get again because of the flavor. The Little Boy Blue also has a distinct Lavendar taste, very refreshing and not overly sweet like typical lemonade.

Brian T.

Yelp
Poor service. Mediocre food. No reason to stop here when there are so many excellent choices nearby. The staff is too involved with their conversations to get the order in. Sat for 30 mins and then reminded them of my order. It still wasn't out half an hour later.
google avatar

Lakeisha W.

Yelp
I love this little spot. The wait staff is consistently okay, but I don't go out for the waiters & waitress. The Crabmeat Au Gratin Dip is absolutely delicious. I don't know which one is better, the dip or the spicy sprouts because those are grand as well. Also order the fire shot (I don't know what it's call), but you'll love the experience.

Yelp
New Orleans ain't like it used to be. After celebrating a bowl victory in the Dome we wanted to celebrate in the Crescent City. Well, guess what? Everything's closed. Used to be there was always a bar open for patrons to celebrate, commiserate or just escape. So we came back to our hotel dejected and figuring we'd retire to our rooms for the evening when a security guard overheard us and mentioned taking a walk down Baronne. Off we went, but when we came upon Victory we took pause. Hmmmm, not much to see from the outside. But it's open, and it looks like they serve alcohol. One drink won't kill us. Well, I'll be damned if this wasn't one of my best late night experiences in NOLA! I wish I would have gotten the bartender's name because she was knocking out drink orders as fast as she was getting them. And right on the money too! Old Fashioned? Boom! Nailed it! French 75? Oh, come on throw something harder. Did I mention the place was comfortable? Oh man, I've never lounged on a sofa in any New Orleans' bar before. Battle for a bar seat, yes, but never a chaise. As I waited for my drinks I watched the "chef" handle food orders just as adeptly as the barkeep. The food looked excellent, but I have a rule about eating after midnight: I only do it when I'm hungry! We didn't close them down, but we came close. If I'm ever in the area again you can bet I'm going to hit up Victory!

Yelp
After escaping at Clue Carre', I needed a little libation. Well, more of a celebratory libation.....Myself and several of my winning team members needed only to walk 10ft to Victory. A swanky, cozy place next door. When we first walked in, I thought maybe we would just sit at a table and then we ventured in a little further to a great section that made you immediately feel like a VIP! Five of us sat down and boom! Amanda was right there with a complimentary cocktail...What?! lagnaippe? ( a cajun term for a little something extra.....). After a lengthy description of a Jameson concoction, I was a bit scared. After the first sip.. I thought...Wow! this place has the moves. A couple more friends joined in and it was on! Drinks were ordered, I personally had the Harry Nilsson....and if you are familiar with his music, you will understand.....it took me back to peaceful days with Harry crooning on my Walkman in such a magical way I can't really explain. The one thing I really loved was the ease of the cocktail menu, One price, a bunch of different choices....simple, easy....if you wanted to continue with the drink of the day, that was available....but I was more focused on which cocktail I wanted to try. The food....yep! the food......crab au gratin, pizza and chicken satay...all delish. Something for everyone.... The ease of the night, the atmosphere... Oh we were having a great time..... but wait, there's more... They have a super cool "Namaste....you feel like you're in another country" Private room that is available for intimate events, like bridal (bride or groom), birthdays, showers etc. We were a joyous group and both owners, Camille and Daniel came by to see what all the laughing was about...They invited us to view the upstairs too, which is a super great space. It's almost too much to share......but I'll say this.....parties, cocktail school, jam nights, weddings, corporate affairs and live music recordings, Oh man, I can't wait. Will I be back, Oh heck Yeah! Will I tell my friends? to be sure..... but more than that...a nice comfortable place to hang out.... Amanda! can I get another Harry....stat!!!!

Yelp
Stopped in Baroness to watch the 2023 Super Bowl- we loved it! Classy, cozy with a nice cocktail bar, areas w sofa and chairs for a more quaint experience! Drinks, service and food very good!

Yelp
Really great pizza with homemade dough and cooked perfectly. But, was pretty disappointed that they were out of half of their appetizers including all of their meat based appetizers as well as their brussel sprouts, leading to us having no vegetables at all. And it was only 5:45pm!

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday night with a friend looking to have a few drinks, share some tapas, and catch up. Overall my feelings are mixed about how to review Victory, since there are definitely some positives and negatives. The good: They give you a small taste of a cocktail when you arrive. Our cocktail tasted like pink lemonade and was very yummy! It was a nice touch Tapas portions are large Moscow Mule was tasty Our waitress was very nice and attentive The baked brie was pretty good and was set up like a cheese plate (came with a few apple slices, some grapes, and some candied pecans) The bad: The brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts are one of my favorite foods and these were really bad. We could barely eat them. They tasted boiled and even the garlic aioli on the side (one of my favorite sauces) tasted off. The loud people also located in the bar/ restaurant. There were a lot of very rowdy people for a Sunday at 6, which made our meal much less enjoyable. The prices were a little expensive for the ambiance I think Victory is a good place to go if you are having a few drinks before heading out for the night. Since I was planning on having a chiller evening, a rowdy crowd on a Sunday night was a huge turn off. The cocktails looked good but were all on the more expensive side ($10+). However, they did give big pours of wine (always a positive)! The food all sounded great but could use a little work. Food -- 3.5 stars Drinks -- 4 stars Price -- 3.5 stars Service -- 4 stars Atmosphere -- 3.5 stars

Yelp
What the hell happened to this place? I've reviewed it before (5 stars!) and had to come back to leave an updated review (1 star!) since it's been so many years since my last visit. It's gone completely downhill. I'd blame it on a combination of the crowd and quality of the drinks. We ended up here around midnight last Friday because the other nearby bars in the area were already closed, and this was within walking distance for us. Big mistake. Our group of 7 ordered a round of drinks. 5 of those drinks were left untouched because they were disgusting. I'm not sure why they have a Sazerac on their menu when what we received was clearly not a Sazerac. Most of their cocktails tasted nothing like the ingredients listed. My Little Boy Blue cocktail was the nastiest of the bunch. Each person took a sip just for kicks because we were amused at everyone's reactions when they tasted it. I normally like lavender flavored drinks, but this reminded me of... Laundry. We hate to waste alcohol but also weren't going to force ourselves to drink something we didn't like. On top of that, the cocktail server who took our drinks automatically added a gratuity of 20% on the bill. I didn't realize this until after we left, or I would have asked her to remove it. I can understand when restaurants do that, but SHAME ON HER for doing that on a drink bill, especially when most of our drinks were left untouched. New Orleans has so many other amazing bars to offer and I'm disappointed that we wasted even half an hour here. I won't ever be returning.

Yelp
Ahhhhh what a breath of fresh air. Located in the heart of the CBD, I've passed here several times & not thought twice about it, but on this night, it was within walking distance & definitely a Godsend. Entering you're greeted by a staff member & seat yourself as it is the order of the day. Grabbing a seat in the forefront of this restaurant, Shantal, gave us a sample of the "drink of the day", provided menus, took our order, made suggestions as requested & delivered our order. She was very pleasant, attentive & informative. We ordered: - brandy milk punch: so tasty, buzz worthy & refreshing - a drink of the day: a rum punch, which was refreshing, light & flavorful - the Korean BBQ Lettuce Wraps w coconut rice: two starkly different tastes, the beef & the pork, but both quite scrumptious; the coconut rice was flaky & moist - crabmeat au gratin w pita bread: yummy for my tummy, definitely freshly prepared & lacking an overpowering seafoody, pungy taste that I've experienced elsewhere & the pita bread was a nice change, but I think I would've preferred chips Checking in with the YELP app allowed for 10% off the meal, this was a BONANZA!!!! The decor initially made me think of a poetry set, as the high back bar chairs, bistro sets & mini sofas in the rear of the restaurant amped up the POETIC JUSTICE feel. Real Cali-modern feel; totally laissez-faire. I'll be back, those mini sofas & free samples will linger in my mind.

Yelp
One of the best bars in the downtown area!! Wonderful staff, hidden booths in the back, red walls everywhere you look, and some of the most unique drinks you will find in the city. Daniel really did a wonderful job making Victory the place that it is.

Yelp
My friend and I went to this bar since we were getting hungry and it was down the street from our hotel. I ordered the Truffle Popcorn to start us off, best thing I ordered honestly. I loved the popcorn so much I even order some to bring back to my hotel. We snacked on the Korean bbq lettuce wraps with both choices of meats, beef and chicken. The seasoning they put on it was a little too sweet for my tasting. It didn't have a Korean style seasoning I was used to. We both enjoyed our cocktails there, I ordered the 'So Pho-cking Good' which it didn't taste anything like Pho but it was good. My friend ordered the 'Bare Necessities' which looked great but I didn't try it. When we got their, it wasn't too busy but as the time passed, it was a full house but we still got great service. I would come back here again just for the Truffle Popcorn!

Yelp
What happened? As much I love this bar.... Who decided to change the music? Ummm... The drinks are still amazing. The bartenders are still awesome. The Poncho Villa is still spicy. But the soundtrack is distractingly spotty..... Maroon 5, random slow Lenny Kravitz, Rihanna, Drake, maroon 6,7,&8. We can be better than this. Our soundtrack could be as awesome as everything else about this bar. Make the music great again.

Yelp
What a place! Found this amazing bar on one of our last trips to New Orleans. With my wife (gf at the time). As soon as we got there I liked it. They give you a complementary house cocktail while you are checking out the menu. The night we were there it was a gin infused drink of sorts that tasted almost like you were drinking an Abita root beer or something equally as delicious! Besides that, its just a trendy little spot with great little apps to snack on, a delicious assortment of popcorn and even little couches in the back you can sit around with your friends. When I think of craft cocktails I think of this place! i think I started off with a jalepeno infused coconut cocktail. It was a little bit sweet and then finished off with a spicy note on the back end. It was amazing! I would have tried any of the cocktails they recommended! We'll absolutely be back next time we are in town! Cheers Justin
