Baron's Bagels - Brick

Every time I’m in town, I try to stop by for my usual Barons bagel order.. however, this trip I had no time. Surprise surprise, my brother picked up my usual and gave it to me before I took off to the UK.. Now I’m in London enjoying my Barons bagel. ;) Shoutout to Brandon G for my nostalgic bite! #TravelWithBarons

Very disappointing bagels. Maybe it’s just not my type but it was complete dough and chewy. Toasting them did not help. Staff is very friendly.

Went to Barons this morning. There were at least 8 people working behind the counter. I ordered a light sesame bagel with a little bit of scallion spread. It took over 30 minutes to get my order the the bagel was well done not light there was a ton of scallion spread on it. The employees were to busy eating and talking. No one had a clue what they were doing!!!! I was not the only one this happened to. It also happened to 2 other customers that came in around the same time I did. They completely forgot about us. Other customers were coming and going. I will not return to this Barons location again!! Very un - organized!!!!!

Possibly the most beautiful bagel I've ever eaten. Bagel was soft, fluffy, and flavorful. Had the cannoli cream cheese on one half and scallion cream cheese on the other.

When it comes to bagel places around Brick, you won’t find any more delicious and filling than Baron’s Bagels. They have a huge selection of bagels, spreads and toppings to choose from that it’s quite overwhelming when it comes to making my decision before placing my order. Only downside is that it’s cash only but they have an ATM in store in case you don’t have the cash on you. Shoutout to the great people who work here and the patience that they have.

Running errands this morning and stopped her for the First Time. Another Small Business that has exceeded our expectations. Huge and nicely priced sandwiches, friendly staff that apologized for the wait. As mentioned the sandwich was larger than many other Small Businesses or Franchises. My choice was Pork Roll, Eggs, Cheese, Jalapenos with SPK on a toasted delicious Roll. The sandwich had 2 Eggs and thicker slices of Pork Roll instead of the current normal of paper thin slices as found on many of the others throughout New Jersey. Kit had her usual Pork Roll, Eggs and Cheese with nothing on it. Situated on a delicious large Roll. Definitely would recommend this spot for other's to try!!!

First of all I’d just like to begin by saying we waited for 1 hour. I ordered 5 bagels, pork roll, egg& cheese, and bacon, egg, and cheese bagels, toasted. I’m not sure what took 1 hour to make, granted they were busy but not busy enough to wait 1 hour for 5 bagels. We got our bagels, I ask for a receipt and I’m so glad I did because they charged me for 6 bagels not 5. SO MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A RECEIPT!!! It seems they just charge for whatever they want.. unreal. Second of all, we get home and realize our order isn’t correct. They forgot the cheese, the bagels are cold. Like are you actually kidding me. You have one job.. make 5 bagels and you mess that up after waiting for 1 hour!!!! HOW?!! So I go ahead and call and ask to speak to whoever is in charge.. a girl answers and greets me by saying… “what’s up?” Hahahaha wow, at this point I’m like ok.. this isn’t a real business. What’s up.. well I’ll tell you. We waited an hour and you messed up our order and also charged me extra… that’s what’s up. Her reply.. “oh my gosh I’m sooo sorry, this never happens!” 😒 lol I highly doubt it. I hope this review helps whoever is reading it to make a conscious decision before going there. You will absolutely have to wait for an unusually long time and they might charge you extra for things you didn’t order and potentially mess up your order. Also they won’t even try to remedy it. I found this place to be very disappointing and extremely unprofessional. If your staff is reading this, I really hope you have a team meeting and teach them about proper customer service. 🙄👍 I’m updating this review as I honestly feel the need to. My daughter has had nonstop diarrhea and vomiting since yesterday.. I believe she got food poisoning from her bagel. She had a bacon egg & cheese on an egg bagel except they forgot the cheese so just egg and bacon. If I could leave zero stars I swear I would. Thanks for offering your generous “sandwich on the house” but you literally couldn’t pay me to eat there again. What a disappointment. You will never have my business again.

Well, for starters, I was in the store waiting for my order. And I hear the two employees and the cashier talking about my order and pretty much making fun of it asking how someone can eat that to which I interjected myself into the conversation and told them why I ordered what I did. That is extremely unprofessional and rude. I’m not sure why anyone would make comments about what someone is ordering. Their job is to cook the food, not make comments about what people are getting. And to top it all off when I got back home and opened up my order it was wrong. I specifically requested for the pork roll to be well done and it was not and I also asked for butter to be added onto my bagel and that was not done either. Highly disappointed in this establishment.

They have the most pleasant employees , excellent food & I've tried a variety of things from wraps, bagels, sandwiches , cream cheeses , egg salad, chicken salad , bagel chips... you name it. They also are extremely fair priced for the quality and quantity at this location only.

Love the bagels super big , fresh worth the $$$ , my gf loves the yogurt so she convinced me to try it so I got the Nutella one. Not happy at all. It taste stale. The granola taste like it been sitting for days. The Nutella is hard. It does have raisins in it which that's someone preference, overall not to happy with it. But the bagel I do enjoy very much. I would say thought everything for $8 not so bad so 3.8 outta 5

Ordered a pickup order of an everything egg bagel and a Taylor ham egg and cheese. The app said the order was ready within 5 minutes but when arrived to pick up the food we were still told to wait about 10 minutes. On a positivé note thé bagel was filled with cream cheese and the bagel was perfectly cooked. The Taylor ham egg and cheese was also incredible. It had 6 slices of meat inside which is unheard of now a days. Your usually lucky to get3. Over all good breakfast to start the day and will be back next time we are in the area.

I say with the utmost confidence that Barons is the best bagel place in NJ and I live 45 minutes away from both locations. We usually go to Point Pleasant but stop in Brick sometimes as well. The breakfast sandwiches are HUGE (as pictured). Their cream cheese is also super fresh and you get a ton. Sometimes we get one bagel on the side and we make 2 bagels w cream cheese out of it. Can't recommend them enough! **Cash only**

Great bagel spot. Cash only. HUGE bagels. Nice and fresh. They have a few tables outside although none inside. I love a big, fluffy bagel. Place is a bit dated and run down. Could use a bit of updating.

Fresh, super clean and fantastic bagels and service. Has some excellent cream cheese choices, I loved the cannoli cream cheese!! Fantastic breakfast sandwich think I had 6 slices of pork roll on mine!! Eggs were perfect!

I have been wanting to try the rainbow bagel. I ordered the rainbow bagel with bacon egg and cheese sandwich $13, hashbrowns $3.60, and steak egg sandwich on super egg everything bagel $14. The bagels were a huge portion. Rainbow bagel isnt that special it taste just like a plain bagel but the super egg everything bagel was great. They should have a rainbow bagel with everything seasoning.

Barons Bagels are the Biggest Soft but crunchy BEST BAGELS BY FAR !! Never can I eat the entire bagel it's soooo HUGE!!Def recommend them!& the staff especially the manager are great people!

Best bagels in the area. I'm from Tom's river and we come here all the time- you won't find better. Cash only. Such sweet staff. Fast. Only downside is there's nowhere to sit but bring it to the beach and enjoy! Great area

The best in ocean county and quite possibly all of jersey. They do not play around with bagels and breakfast sandwiches. When the summer comers are long gone, this place is still packed. Reasonable prices for sandwiches so big the workers have tricky wrapping them.

I try and avoid this place as much as possible because it's gone down hill so much, but it's on the way home so i stopped in for a couple bagels. Every single time I'm reminded how terrible this place is. Waited 20 minutes for 3 bagels, one being a BEC. tons of people ordered BEC after me and got their bagels within 10 minutes. Whoever is running this place is running it into the ground. They were also mopping floors with some sort of chemical meanwhile the place was filled with customers. the place reeked of the chemical. very off putting. the staff isn't friendly at all. it's truly a shame because this place used to be such a gem. i'd look forward to it every weekend. Needs new management asap

There bagels are the best especially when they put a lot of cream cheese. The service is nice but they do cash only and it's good they have an atm in there. The ambiance is alright the have a little place to sit while you wait for your food by the window.

let me tell you about barons bagels! this place was excellent i love the people inside they are very nice. in all honesty the food is just so good.

The bagels are always delicious, sandwiches not so much. my request was so simple. 2 eggs over easy with 2 pcs of cheese on a bagel and well done hash brown on the side. the eggs were fried. not even sure there were two eggs. definitely one piece of cheese and the hash browns barely cooked and like mush. I tried calling them 4x's to let them know and no answer. super disappointed. threw the whole meal in the garbage. well at least I saved a bunch of calories.

10/27 Sunday am - ordered pork roll with 1 egg on plain bagel. Price comparable with others. ONE slice of pork roll so thin I could almost look through it. THREE eggs, two plus 1 more. Such a lousy breakfast sandwich. First, and last, time at Brick Baron's.

Fabulous service fabulous food all-around great place! I get a lot of bagels there for my customers, and everyone of them always asked me where I get the bagels from!! It's a must try !!!

The bagels are fantastic . Probably one of my favorite spots in New Jersey. That being said, the cash only thing is a buzzkill. It's almost 2024 get with the times.

Extremely busy on Mother's Day, but they still managed to keep the lines flowing and gave out correct orders. Sandwiches were their usual top quality.

Love Baron's Bagel's, their bagels are soft, chewy and delicious! Their french toast bagels are the real treat here, they cannot be duplicated at any other bagel shop. However, the veggie cream cheese should consist of more than just huge chunks of carrots and peppers. Or at least grind those veggies up so they're not such huge chunks - please?

Best bagel place in Brick, no contest. My go-to place for porkroll egg and cheese! Bagels are HUGE with perfectly fluffy insides and a crisp exterior, everything you could want in a bagel. They also have fun cream cheese flavors like Nutella and spicy sriracha bacon, along with some of the best breakfast sandwiches you will find at the Jersey Shore. Get here early because they are popular and can sell out! I also recommend calling ahead for large orders as they get crowded!

Cash only? Weird. Seen good reviews but the food is just okay. Bought a bacon egg and cheese, not the best-- bagels were not as fresh as we've had elsewhere. My friend purchased a bagel with egg salad and it was very bland. Food was a bit pricey just for a few bagels.

Yum! The Egg Sandwich was delish. They Salt Bagel was so tasty and fresh. Lots of cream cheese options. I picked up the rainbow bagels and Nutella cream cheese for my kids. Great service and lots of variety of bagels

I ordered tuna salad on a black Russian bagel. It seemed a little expensive, but what isn't overpriced today? I have to say though that it was 100% worth every penny! Not only did I get a bagel, but there was a potato salad, a fruit salad AND a sugar cookie. When I thought all I was getting was a bagel for $10 it was a steep. Now knowing what it comes with, it's a bargain. 10 of out 10 would return!

Heard great things and came to try their pork roll egg and cheese. When i bit into my bagel sandwich, something in there was extremely sour!! I think either the porkroll or cheese had gone bad and they still served it... also the bagel i ordered was stale! I am extremely disappointed and do not recommend coming here.

Delicious huge, freshly baked bagels with a large selection of flavors. Lots of deliciously flavored cream cheeses to top your bagel. They have salads like chicken and tuna to make a bagel sandwich. If you like pix, they have it! Great service. They are very busy. Don't forget cash because they don't take credit cards. They do have a cash machine in their store but, if your bank is like mine, it charges and so does my bank. But, if you forget cash, the cash machine is very convenient.

This place is great . I have to keep remind myself, I better be hungry because the sandwich's are huge . Egg salad and Roast beef are delicious.

Great Breakfast sandwich. My First Time coming to this place. Ordered a pork roll egg & cheese on everything bagel. Ohh boy... I don't think I will eat for the rest of the day!! I just miss these bagels and the bagel sandwiches of New Jersey so very much. They are fluffy, huge, and really define the Jersey area. I have tried, very unsuccessfully, to find a bagel that meets these standards (and price tag) in Ohio. Not to mention, pork roll is a foreign concept out here and bologna is the closest comparison. No one makes a sandwich like barons: a crispy fried egg, gooey cheese, and a mound of pork roll on a chewy egg everything...that's the dream! When I'm in New Jersey, it is imperative that I swing by Baron's. My go-to sandwiches are the PEC with ketchup or the steak, egg, and cheese. I've also had their chicken salad and it's more food than any one person should endure. The last time we went to Baron's we froze a dozen bagels in our Columbus home. They reheated nicely and kept us at bay for a while...

Baron's Bagels is hands down my favorite bagel shop. I recently moved to Brick 6 months ago and I am SO happy Baron's exists (even though I don't need to be eating too many bagels). Their bagels are always fresh and delicious, they always have flagels which I love, and the cream cheese is just PILED on so high. They have to be known for their large amount of cream cheese. My boyfriend always scraps some off, so beware if you don't like a heavy amount - just give them a heads up. The variety of cream cheese flavors is awesome and they are always trying new variations. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean. Extremely reasonably priced. Cash only!

I have gotten bagels from here a couple times and they always taste great. However, they never listen to toasting the bagel which I can ignore but it's frustrating every time. Today I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and it was completely inedible! The bagel was a poppy one and had a sweet taste to it which it shouldn't taste sweet and the cream cheese was completely sour! I am completely disappointed and disgusted! How can you serve sour spoiled cream cheese to customers?!?!

We had made a quick stop for breakfast on Saturday and we will definitely be going back whenever near Pt Pleasant! Staff was friendly and efficient when taking your order and nothing but smiles. You get your moneys worth when ordering your bagels depending on what you get. We ordered a pork roll egg and cheese & bacon egg and cheese, both were delicious! It it's cash only so I suggest getting cash out before you head here! Also loved the different color bagels for St. Patty's day & tie dye!

Looking for your go to local bagel shop then look no further. Baron's bagels is your one stop shop for all your breakfast needs. Bagels are ginormous and full of flavor. From homemade Cream cheese selections galore to specialty bagels and baked goods. You can't go wrong with this gem. It's definitely on the pricier end but the portions are huge and definitely share worthy.. if you want to share. Staff is very attentive and welcoming. This is definitely a family favorite. Can't wait to come back soon.
