Barracuda Grill Seafood & Chops

Our visits to Bermuda would not be complete without having dinner or lunch at the Barracuda Grill. Today, it was lunch. The dining room is always inviting. As if you have stopped by your favorite aunt's house for lunch. And the service was top-notch. Professional while being personalized. The explanation of our questions about the menu added certainty to our choices. I settled on the duck breast. Perfectly prepared in a creative combination of breast and giblets with complementary sauces. Topped off with a gingerbread pudding for dessert. The food is not inexpensive, but the food is easily some of the best I have tasted anywhere. We will be back on the next trip to Bermuda.

The service was excellent here! We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. Our waitress was on top of everything, taking our order, bringing drinks, timing appetizer and main course. It made for a great night out. We shared the scallops as an appetizer. There were only 3 but they were delicious. My husband had the lobster troubadour and I had the octopus. I would recommend both dishes. They were so good we kept taking bites of each other's. A bit on the pricier side but you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely exceptional seafood with a lot of choice on the menu. The wine selection was also pretty impressive and varied. There wasn’t anything we had that we didn’t absolutely love and to top it all off the team running the restaurant were so lovely to chat to. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Once again this restaurant tucked along a side street of Hamilton excels in every aspect of a special dining experience. The restaurant's makeover from last summer is fresh, vibrant and energizing. Impeccable service and outstanding creative food options make this restaurant a truly special oasis! Outstanding !!

Against my wishes, we came here for Valentines dinner. We haven’t had great luck the past 3 times, but my husband believes in giving chances. I feel like the menu is not for everyone. There isn’t much to choose from. It’s very expensive and the food is basic. We both got the steak, which I cannot understand why fancy places will only have a New York Strip or Sirloin on the menu. To me those are not fancy cuts of meat. I am very plain so I got the steak with just fries. My husband got the steak exactly how it came and yet they charged us the same price. My husband’s appetizer was soo small it did not do anything for him. The dessert menu is also small and doesn’t have a variety.

Stale and tasteless, but with a pricetag higher than much better establishments on the island. We had the rockfish and lamb shank (a special for the day) and were not only underwhelmed, but there was nary ANY flavor. My scotch cocktail with white pepper held a lot of hope, but only tasted like watered down scotch. Two entrees, two cocktails, and two glasses of wine set us back just over $200. The meal was so lackluster, we skipped dessert. The ambiance was business lunch, and the restaurant seemed proud of their island power lunch award. For a nice evening out, it felt stuffy and stiff. If you're visiting the island and hoping for a nice dinner, take our advice and aim for something different. Even our beach club lunches had more flavor and zing.
