I went and saw a poetry slam event here with my girlfriend last week. The chicken sandwich was really good. The tater tots are not so good. The hamburger has a patty that is too small, but it tasted good still. Had onion rings that were still doughy. The drinks that were associated with the poetry slam event were very yummy and the atmosphere was really good.

Incredible talent on the stage with dueling pianos, singers, guitars and drums. Tonight was Quinn and Aleksey on pianos with many others who work at the bar adding to the high energy. There are not many musicians out there who have the skill to tackle singing and playing songs ranging from the 60s to present day. An excellent evening worth a visit if you are in town and regularly if you live here. Extra. You can buy your entry online or at the door. Bring cash for tips (they deserve them). If you are not from the States having cash is important for the tips as we do not have Venmo.

We had the best time at Dueling Piano, amazing show and special guest appearances by the staff. Jimmy was super cool, a great host, and so was the rest of the team and the performers.

One of my favorite spots in Portland. Don't know if they still do it, but in the indoor section, they used to have a piano duel, like 2 pianos front to front challenging each other and doing versions of popular and classic songs, sometimes accompanied by a guy in the middle, with a guitar. Mic used to go around, sometimes getting to the girl serving at the bar, that has this great voice. I used to go like in 2010 and i remember it was a lot of fun. Some nights they have this "neighborhood party" at the patio, serving shots and grilling some hot dogs and burgers. Summers are great, the patio turns into a water party. Perfect cool vibe.

I don’t often write reviews but due to the worst “owner” interaction of my life I feel compelled to do so. Our evening started out very good. We got there before the music started and we were told to sit anywhere that did not have a “reserved” sign on the table. We found a seat and soon after another couple asked if they could join us at our table which we were completely happy with. About five minutes later, Isabella (or Isabelle) came and accused us of sitting at a six top table and only four of us being there. Our interaction was off setting to say the least but nothing came of it. Another employee came over a few minutes later and asked if they could use the other table which there was no objection. The night ended up great until we went to pay our tab. The bartender that was serving us all night and was amazing had a line so we were waved over by Isabella. I told her we would like to pay our tab and unfortunately due to it being a business card she couldn’t find our name. After explaining a couple times that it was a business card she became rude. I called the other bartender over and he quickly pulled it up. She gave us the most rude interaction, slammed our receipt down on the counter and walked away. The male bartender came over, apologized, and helped us out. I tipped him in cash and went o leave. We walked outside and as we were leaving we passed the owner, so I brought up our interaction with her. His comment…”BYE”. As a small business owner I hate to speak negative about another business but this time I feel compelled to.

Nathan and Sean were fantastic. Worth the trip up from California alone. Must see! Tater tots were bomb!

Was here on Halloween, my birthday. Jimmy was the bartender, and he was great. We had fun playing ping pong and doing karaoke. They had a live piano player and band for karaoke, it was pretty awesome!!!

We crawled in here on a whim and left with core memories. The bar is typically not open during the day, but they were open for St. Patrick's Day. It was completely empty, but we decided to go in because everywhere else was crazy busy and/or had a cover. Our group ordered shots with Jimmy, the bartender, and he offered us ski shots! He was very kind and had good energy. Then while we were hanging out by the stage another employee asked if we wanted to do karaoke. Of course we couldn't pass it up. Was it prerecorded instrumental music? Nope. These guys both picked up instruments and started playing--such talent! The vibes were high and everyone was having a good time. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had a flight to catch. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop by and pay them a visit.

Was great time, decent tots and fried chicken burger, tasty drinks. The two performers really had us all singing and participating, while the owners even made an appearance as a band for a few songs. Worth going!

What a fun night watching Dueling Pianos! The piano players/singers were awesome on their own but they brought out a drummer to take things to the next level. Then added guitar players as well! A very entertaining and high energy show.

If I could rate this place as a zero, I would. We arrived and Isabella the hostess told us to sit wherever we wanted. As long as there was not a reserved sign and so we sat down and then about 20 minutes later she came up and was absolutely rude to us questioning us about where were sitting and went on to say they had a 6 top that had a reservation there. We kindly said ok we can move, but in the end, the manager told us to stay. I was thrown off by how she spoke to us. But I let it go because I figured she's new and she probably made a mistake and I get the stress of that. We had fantastic exchanges with our other bartender. I cannot recall his name, but he was super nice and attentive and mage the rest of the experience so great. We went to close out with him and unfortunately there is a line and so once again, Isabella helped us when she cannot figure out what our tab was under, we explained it to her and she argued. Our original bartender clarified and said that in fact that was what the tab was under and she must of missed it. So then she found it and said sorry, I didn't see it and throug our debit card at us like literally threw it and walked away. We ended up giving the other bartender $20 in cash. We walked outside and saw the owner and we asked if he was the owner and he said I might be. We explained to him the situation, and he laughed at us. We said that we had nothing but great service until we ran into her and that he may want to train his staff as far as customer service goes. We own 2 businesses and we know the customer service is huge! We kindly brought this to his attention and he laughed said byyyeee!!! We are not one to complain about most things. But when it comes to customer service and a shred of respect I do tend to say something. This was our 10 year wedding anniversary and honestly the way she treated us and then more so the owner treated us was absolutely disappointing .
