Barrelhouse 101 is best known for its impressive craft beer selection, but locals know the kitchen turns out some of Ventura’s most satisfying BBQ plates. House-smoked tri-tip, ribs, and pulled pork are slow-cooked until tender, paired with signature sauces and hearty sides. The lively taproom ambiance and regular live music events make this a go-to spot for groups and casual gatherings. The Ventura County Reporter and local food blogs consistently praise Barrelhouse 101 for its quality meats and community-driven events.

This is a good spot for a late night craving when I'm camping at the beach. We had a burger, fries, bacon wrapped pickle spears, and boneless chicken wings. It was all good for bar food, and they even had THC Tea, which was absolutely perfect after a long day at the beach :)

A great place to sample dozens of beers on tap, Barrel house is a must visit! The ambiance is perfect, location central, service superior. We didn't have food, but it looked good on tables near us. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with its great atmosphere and very good service. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. The highlight, however, is the fantastic beer selection – a true delight for any beer enthusiast. Highly recommended for a memorable evening out!

Google
So, we came for happy hour. Huge disappointment, drinks were 90% ice, beers flat. 2 out of 5. Nothing was horrifically bad but nothing was good… well the truffle fries were great but everything else fell short. The bartender and servers were great but the experience was lacking. 9 out of 10 dive bars would have put this place to shame. Moscow mules without copper cups and no mint. Tequila fresh was 95% ice and tasted like water waved over tequila.

Google
Great spot! Open seating inside or out. Great menu! Beautiful bar area. Awesome team! Shot out to Jonah and Carolyn who were extremely helpful! Perfect spot for a private event in the Karaoke room!

I Have been coming to BarrelHouse 101 for several years. After trying out most of the beers & lagers I found my favorite. As for the food I favor the chicken wings or a burger, but have never had a bad meal. As for the staffing, never an issue, they are always polite and friendly. Love this place and go as often as possible.

Google
Great food, and friendly service. One of the better "bang for your buck" spots in Ventura, without sacrificing quality or portion size. The burgers are tasty and the happy hour taco deal is fantastic.

Google
If you can’t find a beer you like here, then you’re lost. They have everything under the sun. 100 on tap. Our favorite was the 87. Pie not stout and the Mead(honey wine). Burger and Ahi salad was equally delicious. Service was efficient and accurate. We’ll done Barrelhouse 101.

Yelp
Barrelhouse 101 is a relaxing spot with good food, and lots of big screen TVs. I stopped in for diner after work and had a good time. I ordered the Beacon Burger for $19.00 and switched the fries to tots. It was a hefty burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese which really filled me up. They gave me a generous serving of hot crispy tots on the side and some ranch to dunk them in. I washed it all down with a very palatable IPA, that wasn't too hoppy. There was sports all around on the big screens and it seemed like every table had a good view. We had a pleasant server who brought our food out quickly. Overall it was a good spot.

Yelp
So grateful for the late seating/dining... we came a little before 9pm (noticed a couple other parties came in for food too) the gal was so sweet! Can't remember her name but she was very helpful and attentive and not "rushy" at all! So the reason for the 3 stars (and not 4 or 5) is because of the quality of our food. My short rib grilled sandwich was tasty but unbelievably drippy to the point of sick soggy. One half of the sandwich was literally sitting in a puddle of juice on the plate. I set it on a pile of napkins and soaked up some of it. The half that ate first, while it wasn't soggy, it was super drippy. But tasty! I chose not to send it back because it was late, last call for the kitchen and I was starving. My husband's patty melt was mediocre, not much flavor and just drowned in 1000 island dressing :o\ Our side salads were awesome, very fresh lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes. I think we'll give this place. Another try and with that said I would recommend coming here.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me as a nice, casual restaurant to grab a burger and a beer. I don't drink beer, but I was to entertain someone who does enjoy his tap. I met my lunch partner and found out that he's been a customer for over a year. He and his son would frequent this establishment frequently, and they enjoyed it quite well. I agree. I ordered a spicy cheeseburger with onion rings. It was tasty and plentiful. I couldn't finish the plentiful serving of rings. The price was fair for 2024, and I would return for more.

Yelp
Came for happy hour, I was greeted when I walked in. Once we sat down our server came over pretty quick. The happy hour menu had a variety of food and drinks for a reasonable price. The ahi poke crisp was a good portion for one piece and quite tasty. The flavors of skirt steak taco was good but the beef was slightly over done. The mini corn dogs was crispy on the outside and tasted ok. The house Pinot tasted bland, but the peach cider was very good. Service was good, our waitress came to check on us frequently. If you like beers on tap this is definitely the place to go. They also have a secret menu of drinks which I didn't get a chance to try this time so I'll definitely be back soon.

Yelp
We had my friends birthday party here. The food was delicious and the assortment of beers is unbeatable. I had a flight and really enjoyed the Gummi bear and the banana nut beer. The ahi salad was delicious and didn't need dressing because the aioli sauce was so good. They served my friend a cheesecake and sang happy birthday at the end. Great event!
google avatar

Yelp
This is great spot to hit for drinks! I stopped by when it was not too busy and started off with the ahi poke crisps. I would personally pass on the ahi poke crisps the aioli and balsamic was too overpowering and was not distributed in the best manner as when I picked up the crisps the oil was just dripping everywhere. I got the fish and chips and they were very tasty. The reason for my low rating was the service because service felt very impersonal and rushed. Our server did not come to check in on us and simply brought us the check at the end. They do have plenty of seating though throughout the restaurant.

Yelp
Great service food and atmosphere The Cali cheesesteak was so delicious it's a large sandwich with jalapeños it was so cheesy & the roll was so fresh I added mayo - the small salad is enough for 2 as a side - I will definitely be back when I am in Ventura again.

Yelp
I so rarely write negative reviews and perhaps this could be a 3 but the place was so disappointing. Bartender was 'okay' as he was the only one dealing with the 15+ seat bar and table orders. $15 mixed drinks is pretty steep with zero presentation and a stingy pour. Guacamole was a rip off as the portion for $12 was small. Lots of chips and that was the highlight. The salsa that our bartender asked if we wanted was like tomato juice and OMG they charged $2. When we got the bill and told the bartender we were surprised that we got charged for the tiny cup of salsa he said he didn't know they charged. Really? Luckily the fish and chips we ordered did not get into the system! Our pretzel was good and a bargain in light of the guacamole! The one huge TV is too high for sitting at the bar unless you don't mind getting a neck crick. Luckily there are tons of other dining and brewery choices in Ventura.

Yelp
Close to the beach. Good seating options. 101 beers on tap make it worth it. the flights are a good price. They got nice menu options. Normal burgers and brews. Good staff overall. I figured this out quick. you can't access the parking lot through the gas station next door to it.

Manuel F.

Yelp
The Avenue Burger is probably my favorite burger around the area. That Beef/Chorizo Blend is no joke. The wings are also great and generous in size. Garlic Truffle Fries are great and so is the Bacon Macaroni Cheese. I'd just wish it had a bit more sauce.

Yelp
When an establishment has 1,299 reviews (and mine making it a solid 1,300) with a solid average or 4-stars, there no sense of me gatekeeping my favorite burger/beer venue in Ventura County. Barrelhouse 101 is the finest gastropub that the 805 has to offer and you'll miss out if don't take time to visit here at least once. Over the years, I've ventured into "a few" beers with various versions of bar food. Each visit I've had at BH101, there has not been an experimental beer that has not matched perfectly with any selection of my choosing from their menu. Then again, their vast selections of beer on tap is unrivaled anywhere in Ventura. Blondes, reds (and no, I'm not talking about the women), stouts, IPAs, sours; they are all there for the choosing for whatever floats your boat. The menu here is outstanding if you know what to expect when coming for "bar food." The fish/shrimp batter on the flavorful tacos are so crunchy but light; perfect texture and bite. I embarrassed to say I've had just about every burger on the menu and each patty was cooked my requested medium-rare; depending on the toppings/flavor you want, the flavor profile will beat your expectations whether it be with BBQ sauce, chorizo, bacon, so on and so on. What tops this place for me is the abundance of Sonoma County's Russian River Brewery selections. This Northern California brewery is the crème de la crème of any flavor of beer. On my most recent visit, BH101 was host to the annual Pliny the Younger tasting. This event is akin to finding The Holy Grail with the ability to drink from the chalice. The event was packed but there was not an unhappy patron from within. The service I receive here on each visit is always top notch with quick attention to any request. If you're travelling South or North through Ventura County, you'd be missing out on some fine food and beer if you didn't bookmark this place as a rest stop. With it's location so close to the 101 freeway, there's no reason not to give this place a visit and give your tastebuds a true treat.

Yelp
Came from out of town and was recommended Barrelhouse 101 from the hotel across the street. Great walking distance from the hotel we stayed at and very convenient. We came last Friday and ordered some appetizer and the food came out really fast. The one thing that was upsetting was the lack of service. The drinks took awhile but we loved the beer selection. Our waitress was super friendly and the General Manager even checked up on us at one point but the whole staff seemed too busy talking at the bar to bother get refills or napkins. Definitely will be back to give it another chance.

Yelp
The ambiance was enjoyable. Service was attentive on point. The food was fresh and tasty. Great job, BH101! We'll be back!

Yelp
Great draft beer selection , great service , food was okay, ordered the barrel tots with buffalo sauce and I wasn't fan of how soggy they were.

Yelp
The service and hospitality here were fantastic. The GM, Jonas, came by to chat with us and explained all the prep for X-Games week, and from what he was saying, he was too busy to stop and talk, yet he did nevertheless As for the food, the Strawbanero wings were absolutely fantastic-some sweet heat to prep for a delicious Argentina Steak sandwich. We will definitely stop by again when we visit Ventura next.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Presentation of the food was nice. The Sweet potato fries were a little overcooked. The Strawbanero sauce was off the hook delicious., the burger was pretty tasty. The big pretzel was fulfilling, the cheese dip was OK. The service was great, they keep coming by checking on us. I loved that. The ambiance is Suttle and simple. But overall I enjoyed myself. Allot has changed since the last time I was here. Impressed with their patio seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot to hang out and watch a game. Huge TV (also have a patio if you don't want to be inside watching sports). Friendly staff. The Buffalo tots were fine but I really annoyed my mushroom taco!
google avatar

Devin G.

Yelp
I've been coming to Barrelhouse for almost 7 years. The wings and burgers have always been the go-to, but there's other highlights as well. My favorite wings are hands down the strawbanero flavor. If you've never had them, try them. They are some of the better wings in the Ventura County area. The buffalo wings are good also. The burgers are great as well; I've had the Freddy, the Wake N Bacon, the Taphouse, the Avenue, and the Beacon and none have disappointed. I've also enjoyed their fish tacos before. The one item that I did not like here was the Patty Melt that I tried recently. Unfortunately it just lacked flavor, and I am someone that loves a good Patty melt. I used to think that they could do no wrong here, hopefully my next trip restores my faith. But overall this will continue to be a go-to in the area for a happy hour, sports game or just to grab a bite with some friends.

Yelp
Good spot I really enjoyed the strawbernaro wings. Service wasn't fast but not slow either. It's not a bar so much as it is a family restaurant (according to our waiter. Was visiting on work so it made for a nice quick outing.

Yelp
I give Barrelhouse a 3.9, but rounded up to a 4. They give you big portions, so share with your friends and do family style if you can. The Brisket Fries and brisket sandwich were ready good and has overwhelming meat!!! that's a wonderful thing, right? For under $20 you can get filled up with one of those items and share it. They're very generous if you share. They cut the sandwich then gave us each a full bowl of Mac and cheese for only $1 more. Very nice of them. A must get is the Peanut Butter and Strawberry Beer. Was so different and delicious!!! I recommend Barrelhouse!

Yelp
Barrelhouse has been a staple in our family for sometime because they generally have good food for everyone. COVID threw a wrench into many eateries here in Ventura, and my family appreciated Barrelhouse's ability to pivot. However, while the food is fairly consistent, the service is hit and miss. They're great about getting your food and drink order. However. If you don't have alcohol, You have to chase down Someone to refill your water or soda and maybe even pay your check. Recently, we waited 20 min to pay our check which only happened because we asked another employee who got the attention of our server. This has happened nearly every time we've been there since COVID so it's obviously a larger issue. Otherwise food is good and the atmosphere is typical bar and grill.

Yelp
Ate here a few nights ago. Decided to revisit. I'm glad they had returned servers to the tables. The food is back on point. The manager stopped by our table to ask if everything was to our liking, then himself refilled a drink for our table. Very Tasty wings. I would say a bit more of some nonalcoholic beer selections would be good like Heineken zero (comes in a can easy to put in a fridge)
google avatar

Gohar K.

Yelp
Stopped by with my husband for some beer while in Ventura and was very disappointed. The beer I was hoping would be cold and refreshing on a hot day. But it wasn't.... We ordered some onion rings and chicken wings which was ok. But the most disappointing was how the restaurant looked. Very old, dirty and worn out. Let's just say a very unpleasant ambiance. Our waiter was friendly but hard to locate to order more things. So we left after one round of beer.

Yelp
Barrelhouse 101 is a great late-night gastropub with a good selection of grub and a greater selection of beer. Around 9pm on a Saturday night, BH was busy but not totally full. We got a hightop right away- started with a beer, and added a bourbon shot for $4 more. I love the diverse selection of brews. Truly something for everyone! I was craving a burger, but unfortunately, Barrelhouse didn't have a vegetarian burger patty available. I opted for the Mac & Cheese starter, which ended up being huge! The cheese was well distributed and the noodles had a good bite. My boyfriend got the Patty Melt with the buffalo tots on the side. He said the melt was pretty good, and the tots were super crispy. I had a few tots dipped in the bleu cheese dressing on the side. Ugghh so good. The service was prompt and friendly, the beers were plentiful, and they have sports on tv. I'll definitely be back for some late night grub or to try their happy hour!

Yelp
My friends and I were excited to check out Barrelhouse 101 for their karaoke night on Thursday, but unfortunately, there was no karaoke when we arrived around seven. Despite the initial disappointment, our experience turned out to be quite enjoyable. Upon entering, we found the place to be not too busy, with only a few people at the bar and one occupied table. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu offerings. From burgers to sandwiches to salads, Barrelhouse 101 had some really great options to choose from. The highlight of our visit was definitely the craft beer menu, which was exceptional. With a ton of local offerings and a wide range of styles, there was something for everyone. The bartender was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and making excellent recommendations based on our preferences. I appreciated that he even let us sample a small sip of a drink before ordering to ensure it was to our liking. In terms of pricing, the rates for the craft beers were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety available. The service provided by our bartender was top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience. While the ambiance would have been nicer with a livelier crowd, I understand that we may have visited on an off night. I've driven by Barrelhouse 101 before and seen it packed, so I'll definitely give it another chance in the hopes of experiencing a more bustling atmosphere. Additionally, Barrelhouse 101 offers a nice outdoor covered patio and an uncovered patio portion, which used to be the parking lot (thanks to COVID). These outdoor spaces add to the charm of the venue and provide options for enjoying your drinks and food al fresco. Overall, despite the lack of karaoke and the relatively quiet atmosphere during our visit, I do feel inclined to go back to Barrelhouse 101. With its exceptional craft beer selection, great service, and inviting outdoor spaces, it's definitely a spot worth revisiting, hopefully on a night when the crowd is a bit more lively.

Yelp
OMG, we luv, luv, luv this restaurant. The food is always deliciousness, the service is impeccable, and their drinks are all so as good. I called in an order for pick up and left notes for extra "ranch" and blue cheese" dressing. So when I went to pick up my order, he told me, " no worries, we added the extra dressing you had requested". Nice job!! We have all so ate at the restaurant and received the same impeccable quality of food and excellent customer service. Food items we had that are delicious: -boneless wings -pretzels -poutine with short ribs-we had gravy and ranch on the side and that made the french fries crispy -bacon mac and cheese

Yelp
My family stopped by Ventura for a day trip, and after biking along the beach decided to come to Barrelhouse 101 for lunch. They have a pretty big menu with creative entrees, and an extensive drink menu with lots of unique adult beverages. There's seating inside and on the outdoor patio, and a kid's menu for the little ones. Men's restroom is not wheelchair accessible, but the women's restroom is. We ordered: *Garlic Truffle Fries - Crisp and tasty! Came with a couple of yummy sauces. 5/5 *Chicken & Beer battered shrimp tacos - 4/5. The shrimp taco was better than the chicken. Chicken was dry and average. *Rodeo Burger - 5/5 my kid liked this a lot. *Captain's Combo N' Chips - 4/5 Once again the beer battered shrimp was the winner. The fish was just ok. *The Avenue Burger - 5/5 This sucker was huge and at the server's recommendation, my son got the 3 pepper aioli on the side. Thank goodness he did because that sauce is SPICY! My family likes spicy, but even this was a lot for us to handle. Just a little bit burns your lips. We all used a touch of it to spice up our fries and other meals. *The Wake N' Bacon Burger - 5/5 My other kid liked this one a lot. It was like a breakfast sandwich. All the yumminess of a breakfast burrito between two slices of bread. *Coconut Iced Latte - 1/5. I don't know what I was thinking. Why would I get a latte at a brewery place? I guess I was desperate for caffeine and a coconut latte sounded good. It wasn't. Overall we had a good experience here. Staff is nice, and food is good. Looks like a great place to enjoy drinks with friends too!

Yelp
Arrived here around 5:15 p.m. for the first time on a Friday. Abundant and easy parking, just past a stop light and gas station. The instructions indicated that you were to grab yourself a menu and sit yourself down, which I did. I was immediately assisted upon self seating. The beer was good, cold, well poured, and cheap at $5 for the 3-6pm monday through friday happy hour. Ordered the Captain's fish and shrimp chips special, which arrived quickly and hot. There were no utensils ( i was seated at the bar), but i suppose this could be considered finger food so I ate accordingly and my fingers only burned a little. At some point, Broken Bells was playing on the sound system, a nice old throwback, which i loved. a lot of regulars streamed in and made for a nice ambiance. i chatted with a few regulars and had a great time.

Yelp
The service was immediate, the food was nice, and overall was a good spot to chill and have a drink. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Saw they were having their 11 year anniversary celebration and decided to stop in. Wow! Can't believe I waited so long. Barrelhouse 101 hit the trifecta - great drinks, delicious food, and awesome service! The vibe is right up my alley, from the white wall tires out front to the great music inside. Spotted a Blantons, so I had to order one. House blonde was awesome. Great selection of whiskey and 101 on tap! Can't wait to come back and try some flights. I figure 34 flights let's you double up on your favorite. Just go check this place out Best bites Bacon wrapped pickles are a must order Fried shrimp tacos were amazing Garlic truff fries
google avatar

Yelp
Great menu here! The beer selection was expansive, with something for everyone. We sat near the kitchen but didn't order anything. The smells almost convinced us, because it smelled amazing! Will be back if I am in the area.

Yelp
Food and service was great. I mainly came for the bacon wrapped pickles and it was worth it!

Yelp
I feel like I say this often but Barrelhouse 101 is a Ventura institution. The burgers and sandwiches are always top notch, and the 101 beers on tap is great to give you an option to try something new. During Covid they had a makeshift outdoor eating area. But now they re did it and it's a great outdoor space. Built on a solid deck along the building it's very nice. This new deck is sweet and is a big improvement. The service is very friendly and attentive. After we arrived on a Saturday night a large party came and the servers had their hands full. We used the Ventura Axxess card for a buy 1 get 1 free taster, and buy one get one burger or sandwich. Our bill came out to around $61 which didn't seem right so I asked for a receipt, which they first gave us the wrong one, and then said there was a delay with the machine. That's fine, we wanted to head out and see the sunset so it's no worries. The nachos are good and use a Homemade nacho cheese I want to say. With moist, flavorful, and tender chunks of chicken breast. I loved the jalapeño slices. The avenue burger is always a major hit. It's actually spicy( if your sensitive to spice or don't like it, don't order this burger lol). And perfect for my spice tolerance. The burger is a nice blend of chorizo and beef. The guacamole is inundated with lots of tomatoes as a filler I presume. We tried the pork rinds and couldn't get enough of them, they were super fire. The el Juanito sandwich was fire. A nice patty made with a blend of chorizo and beef served with bacon, Pasilla peppers and blue cheese. Ours unfortunately didn't come with pickled jalapeños. I'm sure you can ask for a different cheese if you like. This was a hit. Overall if you want fire sandwiches, burgers and food, along with great beer options. You won't be disappointed at Barrelhouse 101.

Yelp
Today was not to bad my Cobb salad was amazing I added shrimp , wings are must the buffalo was a little too salty . The tacos were a 2 . They had soo much cabbage, lettuce stuff on them with like 3 small strips of steak . We usually have great service today they had 1 guy working by himself so it took awhile .

Yelp
The atmosphere here is wonderful. We love the staff, food and libations. There are ciders, brews and eats. Go see them.

Yelp
It has been years since I'd been to Barrelhouse 101. From the last visit before this, I had remembered that they had an amazing array of beer. One of the people in my group got a beer that literally smelled like banana nut bread. And I remember having a delicious salmon salad grilled to perfection. The salad was fresh, bright, green & had so many textures going on. I remember loving the jicama in the salad because it was unique & added brightness to it. Well, this particular visit was a Saturday night that was a bit chilly & windy. I wanted to grab something yummy before heading to a friends house. I chatted with a staff member & then decided to order a Ahi Tuna Salad w/Sesame Dressing, Truffle Garlic Fries, & Mac n Cheese. The wait was short & my food was nearly & carefully packed in a large brown paper bag w/handles. Napkins & utensils were included without me asking. I got in my car & opened everything to make sure nothing was forgotten & everything I ordered looked perfect. Once I was able to sit & eat I literally DEVOURED the Ahi Tuna Salad! It was perfect! The flavors were well balanced, the ahi was seared but still pink in the middle & so soft and fresh tasting. The sesame dressing was perfectly balanced, savory & sweet enough without being too sweet. I poured one dressing then ended up using it all because it was that good! I are some garlic truffle fries while eating the salad & was getting full very fast so I stopped eating them to make room for the Mac n cheese. I know this is a weird order combination, but this is what my mood called for. The Mac n cheese was good, very creamy, but lacked something, like a bit more salt, some pepper or garlic powder. Something to just give it UMMF. It was 6.5/10 & everything else was 9.5/10, so in comparison it wasn't as good. When I chatted with the staff that was taking orders at the bar, they were all warm, friendly & gave great recommendations & tips. I was told by a staff member that the restaurant is transitioning to a fall menu & taking out all the seafood & carrying more seasonal & local ingredients. I was excited to hear it! The name is Barrelhouse 101 because they have 101 beers on tap... IMPRESSIVE! I highly recommend this place, would absolutely come again. There is something for everyone!

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks! I had the short rib sandwich and it was the best sandwich I have had in a while. The meat was super tender and it was very good quality meat. The Mac and cheese was yummy too. I highly recommend this place for drinks and food.

Yelp
Great food, love the beer and 4 dollars shot add on. Great place to have a few drinks and eat an amazing meal!

Yelp
Came here after the Ventura Fair, saw on Yelp they had a kitchen that closes later in the evening. Ordered the burger that contains half chorizo and beef. That was a bomb burger! Very filling, took half of it home. My friend had the same, so was not able to try anything different. They are a brewery, didn't drink but noticed the hundreds of keg dispenser handles at the bar. Employees were friendly and attentive. The place looked nice but the facilities could use a mirror, on the wall or the door, instead of picture frame of stickers. Otherwise it's good place to eat, bring your own mirror.

I got to finally try this place out today and it is hands down one of the best resteraunts in all of Ventura County. Brought my in laws out for one of their birthdays and we all loved our dinner. We came on a Saturday at 4:30 and it was not busy considering sometimes this place can be super packed on the weekends. The resteraunt is large with an outdoor dinning section. They do have a bar with the option to sit there as well. The inside was air condition and very comfortable. We ordered off the QR code and ordered and payed for our dinner through there which was very practical and easy to use. Beer selection is wide and the craft cocktails we ordered were really good. We ordered a flight and some cocktails but, the only thing I would note is I wish the draft beer was a bit colder/chilled when served. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Everything we ordered was a 10/10 and that is hard to find. We got the garlic truffle fries and the Buffalo ranch chicken sliders from the appetizer section and they both were some of the best that I have ever had period. I would abusoltely order these both again. We had the classic cheese burger, the rodeo burger, and the Philly steak as our main course and they were all so good. Portions were huge and the meal overall was just worth the price. The food was served within 20 min of ordering so the service was pretty fast. That was a plus. We seriously can't wait to come back here again.

Yelp
The food was good the the beers were interesting. The service took kind of a long time. The busser Juventino really changed my experience. He made sure that my food came out and I got what I needed. Give the man a raise

Yelp
First time tonight, and I truly regret coming here. Worst service ever!!! The food was not good at all. No customer service. Our waitress gave us a bad attitude. She never came by to ask us if we needed anything.

Yelp
I like coming here for their seection of 101 beers on tap(hence Barrelhouse 101). Theyre expensive for a taster, but that just comes with being in the territory of craft beers. I recently came here because i was craving something new. I noticed they only had 30ish beers on their initial menu so i asked the waitress for the full beer menu. She expresses that was their full beer menu. This was a great disappointment. They arent lving up to their name anymore. This isnt somewhere i will continue going.

Yelp
I like this place. The service is great, food is on point, and atmosphere is pub like and comfortable. Plenty of TVs to catch up on sports. They also have event spaces for small and large groups, convenient free parking, and freeway and coastal access.

Yelp
My second time here, had fresh Chicharrones and Chimichurri Wings, both were perfect! Service was great, thank you Merry, it's so good not to be rushed through your meal!

Yelp
Went here for a late night "dinner" and definitely would go back. The ambiance is my vibe - hip-hop music, out door seating, solid inside. Our waiter was attentive and very nice! The food was good, I would probably skip on the Mac and cheese, but go back for that pretzel

Yelp
We stopped here on our drive home from the Bay Area. The sourdough BLAT (bacon lettuce avocado tomato) sandwich was delicious, I think they grill the toast with parmesan or something. My boyfriend got the happy hour tacos (one chicken and one fish), they are big for a happy hour choice and were very tasty. He also ordered the bacon mac n cheese, that was awesome. The only miss was the buffalo tots (they call them "barrels"). The tots are soaked in buffalo sauce which made them soggy and a bit too spicy for me. Get the buffalo sauce on the side if you want this and like crispy tots. Service was very good and we are so glad we picked this place.
