Some of the best spots are the ones not in the open but hidden in the crevices of the city. Here's another one of Toronto hidden gems. A taste of Mexican food with a modern day twist. But still the classic dishes only found at authentic Mexican food restaurants. Enjoy, you'll need more than couple hours here.

Great food, friendly servers, chill vibe. Came here for dinner and drinks with some friends. Got the drink special (pineapple something), cops and guacamole to start, and the three pulled pork tacos. Drunk was delicious ($14), chips were good, guac was excellent, tacos were good but pork was a bit tough. Overall good experience, will try the fish or chicken next time.

Used to go their old location on Bloor a lot to get my Mexican fix before the pandemic.
I went to their new location last night and it was quite a disappointment; the whole restaurant was quite empty and didn’t have the same vibe as their other location and the food was not as tasty as before-very greasy.
Tried shrimp & chorizo verde tacos 2 out of 5; chips and guacamole, same.
The only good one was the ceviche.

I’ve been to their other location up on Dupont as well, so I knew what to expect. My friend told me this one is sort of a Korean Mexican fusion, and I was kinda excited. Although the food was quite amazing, I don’t think I see enough of their Korean influence, tasted more Mexican to me, not or say that I was disappointed, but if you’re looking for a real fusion, maybe you might not be impressed. But the food was good, a bit on the pricier side if you’re looking for a big meal.

One of the best, if not the best tacos I’ve had! The fried fish tacos were sublime. And the portion huge, barely manageable to eat with your hand. The margaritas were also amazing. Cozy grungy atmosphere with nice music. What’s not to like. Love the place and will be back again very soon.

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could...
FOOD - Interesting dishes, small(er) menu but that's just fine. Tacos are "Korean/mexican fusion" and they're quite good. Price is in line with other upscale taco places, expect $8/taco and you'll need 3-4 to feel full.
SERVICE - Severely understaffed. I will not fault the staff working there, they're doing their best. But it should not take 30 minutes to fill a drink order. This happened on two separate occasions (Saturday night and Wednesday night).

Great place for light dinner. We had tacos and spicy squid. Love their spicy squid, one of the most delicious squid I’ve eaten. It is so tender and flavourful. Will be coming back again.

Tacos with a Korean twist - the food is always excellent. Take advantage of their oyster deals or try the baked oysters! All the tacos we have tried were great and they make fun cocktails too. Make sure to make a reso because it’s usually busy here. Highly recommend!
