This is more like a 3.5 than a 3-star rating. I have stopped by Barrios a few times but always forget to take photos. Their California breakfast burrito is pretty good and the quesa birria tacos are well seasoned and the consume that comes with it is delicious. Still need to work through the rest of the menu. Service is friendly and fast and it's nice that they have a table with shade set up to eat your lunch if you don't want to freshen up the scent of your car with some Barrios food musk.

The men working there were super nice and I got my food very fast. It was delicious! Tastier and cheaper than the food from different taquerias I've been to. I tried the California burrito and the birria tacos... delicious!!

One thing for sure is that the tacos were bomb! Theres no complaint about that. The one complain i do have ordering the burrito. The burrito was only meat and rice. No sauce no onions or cilantro. Come to find out finishing my burrito at the end was a dallop of sour cream and guacamole. Which was goood. Would of been good if it had it throughout the whole burrito.

This spot is so good. This is pretty much a local taco truck that looks like it's run by family members only which is good. I bought 1 carne asada taco and 2 birria tacos. The carne asada taco is so good and so flavorful that it made me want to go back to get another one which I actually did. The carne asada meat is cooked very well and super well seasoned and barely any to no fat at all in the taco meat which I do like but is a little oily. So as the quesa birria tacos they were also really good with the consume they have as well the consume is very flavorful. Everything taste like it was home-cooked. I would not mind coming here from South sacramento to just get there food it's so good! Might be the best tacos I've ever had I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in Sacramento. Tacos were 10/10!

The BEST carne asada tacos!! never dry so moist and well flavored my son LOVES the carne asada hot Cheeto fries and my daughter switches up between the bean burrito & the shrimp fries-I’ve been following this taco truck around since I first discovered them on denio loop a little hidden gem is an understatement🌮🌯🍤🍟

Very good. Stayed open past 5 to let me order and another lady which was super sweet. First time visiting and won't be the last. Also had a burrito the prices are competitive we liked the green salsa the others were too hot .

Good birria.. We decided to try the birria mulitas and were happy with them They were nice and meaty with big chunks of meat and not overly greasy as sometimes is the case. We also had carne asada tacos, but I enjoyed the birria the most. Great taco truck find! I'll be back.

It's being a while since I found a good Mexican food truck that remind me one of my favorite food trucks in Bay Area. I ordered, Quesabirria- the flavors are wonderful, but wish it had more meat and cheese. But overall it was very delicios. Tacos- carne asada and al pastor - my favorites l, very authentic. The meat was super tender and savory. Carne asada super burrito- it was good, but mainly rice. I didn't see much sour cream or guacamole. For me it was more like a regular burrito than a super. Special plate- 6 crispy carnitas tacos- very delicious . Carnitas were very tender. Plus their salsas ... yum! They were very fast after you put an order in. I did a mobile order on the spot and it was super easy. Wish that they had their food truck in a parking lot instead of a sand lot ....

I've been stopping at this place off and on for the past year. The food is always fresh and made with love! Today, I wanted a challenge. I ask for a spicy chorizo breakfast burrito. The gentleman taking my order asked if I wanted jalapeños. Yes! He then asked if I wanted Diablo sauce. Of course!! We'll see how it feels coming out tomorrow. When they handed me the burrito, they warned me about the dice level and said to have a Coke nearby. Lol. By far the best breakfast burrito in a long time! The ambience is welcoming and unassuming. This food truck has a pop-up in front with a large table to relax at. Thank you!! I'm looking forward to my next challenge. You guys are awesome!!

Finally found some amazing Mexican food in Roseville, and this place did not disappoint! The flavors are incredible, the service is excellent and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. The asada was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and far from dry. I'll definitely be coming back!

I finally tried here today afterseeing their truck on Baseline for over a year. I placed an online order and the food was prepped quickly. The price is reasonable and the portion is good! I had 3 different tacos and they were all good. The packaging for takeout tacos was not great so they were smashed tho. The buritto was packed but just okay. I would try their tacos again but right there on the spot, so they will be nice and fresh.

I will always go out of my way to try a new taco truck or stand especially if its got good reviews and the food looks legit, I just happened to be in the Roseville/Rocklin area with a couple of hours to kill and an empty stomach, so I was sitting in a parking lot looking for something good. And to be honest I wasn't even looking for tacos, but tacos found me! Even though it looks like it inland and would take some time to get there, its really not. Super easy to get to and hard to miss, its sitting on the side of the road in front of a field. I was excited, this is the kind of place I like. At new places, I like to get a feel for how the meats and flavors or in their simplest forms, and to me thats the taco, tortilla, meat, and some onions with cilantro. You can tell a lot on about a place just with tacos, is the meat going to be dry? is it going to be bland? chewy? The meat sets the tone for every other menu item. So I usually get a good variety of tacos, before I dig in I take a little bit of meat from each taco and try it on its own before its covered up with salsa and onions. I ended up with quesabirra, carne asada, pollo, abodoba, and carnitas. the birria taco was a little thin on the meat and cheese side, but the meat was moist and had that good birria stew flavor, I wish there was a little bit more to it but it was a good way to start of the sampler. next up was the carne asada, the meat was nice and tender and also had good flavor, the pollo was on par with the carne asada also, they used some good seasoning to make it stand out and not get lost, but the stand outs were the abodoba and the carnitas, if I wasn't already getting full I would of gotten a couple more of the last 2! I have noticed that some taco trucks and stands have started to raise their prices but the quality of the food doesn't justify the prices, I am happy to say that Barrios was priced well and the quality and flavor is better than a lot of the more expensive places I have been to. Would I go back? 100%! I am now looking forward to finding myself in that area again, and hopefully sooner than later.

Working my way through the menu is a blast. My taste buds are thanking me for this! Service is great. Food is made to order so may take a little longer than you expect. Parking is a little tricky times.

The best carne asada burrito for miles. I got the super and it was absolutely delicious. Affordable. Before I ate it, I was hoping that it wasn't good so I wouldn't have to come all the way to Roseville from Sacramento to have a good burrito. Nothing compares. Awesome red sauce too. Very kind service.

Best tacos in the area. They stayed a little late to make my three fish tacos. I need to drive faster to get there in time. I have tried about five different dishes , and have always gotten very fresh authentic food. I might ask to marry into the family it's so good.

This place is so good! Super fresh and tasty. It's nice because it's fast- pull up get what you want and leave or eat there. I got regular street tacos because I was in a rush and they gave me the green and red sauce. SO good. Can't wait to try other food. They have quite a variety and a large menu. Excited to live so close to here. Customer service is super friendly.

We pass by this food truck parked out in the dirt off of Baseline (close to Foothills Blvd) often, and typically notice a smattering of customers there. Reviews were few, but they all sang high praises, so we finally satisfied our curiosity. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The man who took our order was warm & friendly. We ordered 2 super burritos--carne asada and adobada. We made some tweaks, but I believe standard is with meat, rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, & sour cream. So delicious & so filling! The meats were flavorful. My adobada was tender little meaty chunks (though the quantity was a little sparse so I might add extra meat next time). The rice itself was really good. They came with a green salsa (bright with a little spice kick) and an orange salsa (spicier heat). Both were very tasty & enhanced my bites. I love a good food truck. We enjoyed our burritos, & were really satisfied with the quality & taste!

Absolutely love this spot!! We recently moved to roseville and we were searching for a good Mexican spot and found this place. We have had multiple things on their menu and everything has been delicious it's hard to pick a single favorite. The agua frescas are refreshing and the staff is friendly. Definitely will continue to support them!

Great food truck off the beaten path. Great if you like authentic Mexican food. It was greasy, salty and delicious. The carnitas were excellent and the enchiladas were tasty. I noticed almost everyone ordering the horchata so I got one and it was sweet and refreshing. Definitely balanced out the spice. We took the food home as the location was a bit dusty. Would eat here again when in Roseville.

stopped by this yummy mexican food truck in the morning for some breakfast burritos. they're located on the side of the road on baseline, right near the dutch bros. service was quick and efficient! they have a few tables/chairs out there. breakfast burritos were tasty and very filling. definitely recommend and would come again!

I have had such amazing experiences at Barrios over the last couple years, it's been nothing short of great. The family that runs this location are top notch. Everyone is always so friendly. I am so glad they have been successful here. Everything from the breakfast burritos to the plated combinations are great. The 6 pack carnitas hard shell tacos are a staple for me. Now, when I walk up to order one of the sons says, 6 pack of tacos? lol. I guess I go here too much. Either way check them out. Yes the parking area is not paved and it can be dusty or wet in the winter, but the place rocks. Enjoy!

The food is unmatched in Roseville for authentic authenticity, as well as fresh piping hot food, served with a smile and some salsa! Carlos and his team were all smiling the whole time and it's just amazing when I buy things at a business like this every penny as well spent!! You will not be sorry. Absolutely delicious! We both got the Super Wet Burrito, one with chicken and one with asada and both with red sauce. They were SO good. The price is amazing as well. We will most definitely be back. Excited to try some of their other items as well. The red and green salsas were delicious as well.

This taco truck is AMAZING!!!! From what I've seen, it's always located on baseline near the McDonald's and Dutch Bros. It's totally worth the drive. I highly recommend the carne asada, it's literally cooked to perfection and has so much flavor, I don't even need salsa. It also keeps you full for hours but without the guilty feeling. A MUST TRY!

This place stands above the rest. Homemade tortilla, tender steak, and great green sauce that is blended with avocado so it is not watery. They have good taste and it shows in the food.

Food here rocks. We have been here twice. The first time I had shrimp tacos, they were delicious. Husband had Birria tacos with consommé, he also loved it. This time I had Camerones a la Cora. I got medium spiciness. There was enough food for 2 lunches. The shrimp were succulent and tender. It is served with rice, beans and tortillas. Husband got a burrito, he also had enough for 2 meals. YUM YUM, we will be back!

Was driving by and saw the food truck do we stopped. We got birria tacos--the sauce was flavorful and delicious and the tacos were a little light on the meat but delicious. We also ordered a quesadilla that was delicious. Highly recommend

Just tried today some tacos from here and I have to say they are delicious!!! I will definitely be back to try other things because the people that are working there are very nice and food is great! Unfortunately I don't have a picture because I was very hungry but next time definitely I'll take a picture.

Man! Still trying to find authentic Mexican food in Roseville. I had high hopes. It was just ok, prices were good. Not sure I'd come again.

They forgot our tacos. I went back, but they were already closed. First and last time I will go there. Try El Azteca instead.

I never give reviews but after 3 trips to the truck I have to give them there props! Just moved here and tried a few good Mexican food spots around town and then tried Barrios... game over! Always friendly and food is next level, ordered something different each time and everything is delicious!

My husband and I pass this taco truck plenty of times and seen that it gets pretty busy daily. We finally decided to give it a try. Let me tell you the food is so bomb we ate there twice in a row and are planning our next visit. I'm not a big fan of tacos but let me tell you the carne asada tacos at this taco spot are the very and I mean the very best tacos I have ever been so lucky to eat. The carne asada is so perfectly seasoned and not dry. Their salsa is perfect. The green and red salsa have a great kick to it. You can pour the green salsa on anything. The birria tacos with the consume is also very good. I like my birria tacos more cheesy and crispy but their take is a 8/10. But their tacos 1000000/10. Also the staff is very friendly. Yes, yes, and yes. If you are driving down baseline and see this taco truck with the flags just drop by and try the tacos. You won't regret it.

This food truck used to be right down the street from my work, but he moved to a busier spot on baseline (I can't blame him). Now that means I have to drive 10 minutes to him instead of two, but it's worth it. My go to is the carne asada super burrito with two cups of red salsa on the side to dump onto the burrito as I eat. The salsa is spicy and tasty. The carne asada is seasoned perfectly and always hits. My coworkers also enjoy their carne asada burrito. The burrito always fills me up as a big eater. Smaller eaters might get two meals. I honestly haven't tried anything else haha. Once you find something that works I just stick with it. They do have a pretty extensive menu with breakfast included. They also have some of your other staples like birria and fries. They also have a few things with flamin hot Cheetos that I'm not brave enough to try. They have a few places to sit under and easy up if you wanted to eat there, but it is pretty dusty. I usually just sit there while I'm waiting for my food. Hopefully since I've created this entry we can get reviews of their other food, because I'm stuck on the carne asada burrito haha

I'm so glad they came to my neighborhood. They're actually better than El Azteca, and their prices are 70% lower. (Go to El Azteca and you'll see what I mean.) I usually get the adobada tacos or the Camerones Cora, and both are excellent in flavor, portion and price. (9 shrimp, rice, beans and tortillas for $16?? Wow!) We've been to your truck 6 or 7 times so far, and it's always exactly what we want. Everyone in the neighborhood hope you stick around for a long time. Thanks, guys!

Wow! This food truck rocks The Mexican food is spot on. I have had the breakfast burritos, carnitas hard shell tacos, carne asada street tacos and chicken burritos. The prices are seriously not bad. The service is spot on. The person who takes your order is super nice. The female cook is on point. It can get busy. I think they get there around 10 or so everyday except Sunday. They close at 5 pm and are open a bit longer on Friday and Saturday. It's all dirt around the truck and where you park so it is dusty. Not so sure how accessible it will be in the rain due to the mud. Check it out soon!

I have driven by this Taco Truck on my way to West Roseville several times and decided to stop in because, as I am in construction, the taco truck has always been a pretty solid choice with very few exceptions. I ordered three Birria tacos with consume- this is an exotic order for me, as I am typically a shredded beef or shredded chicken taco guy. Upon First Bite I knew this place was something special. The tacos, dipped in the consume and topped with their orange(ish) hot sauce were so good that for the rest of the day I couldn't stop thinking about these tacos. I have been there twice now with my coworker and he ordered the Super Burrito (carne asada) -of which sang its praises as well and I ordered the three Birria tacos the second time as well. During this second visit I had some consume left over and decided to go for the six pack of carnitas tacos, and was blown away yet again at the moist, flavorful Carnitas meat. As for my qualifications on what makes Mexican food good. I grew up in Southern California, specifically North Hollywood. I challenge anyone to find more authentic Mexican food variety than Southern California and consider myself a taco truck connoisseur as well- again with my construction background. I cannot wait to go back again with my wife and share this place with her. I recommend asking for tortilla chips which they will make for you on site and eating all of your food over those chips so that none of the flavors go to waste. Service is as prompt- as expected for taco truck standards. As for ambiance, there is a fold-out table with a few chairs under a pop-up shade structure. Do not let the ambience stop you from enjoying this food, sometimes I believe people put too much pressure on restaurants, especially mom-and-pop shops to cater to all of their whims. I would be more than happy to enjoy this food in the parking lot sitting in my truck, the food speaks for itself.

Finally stopped by Barrios yesterday. Food is really good, very reasonably priced. Service was friendly, fast. Birria Tacos, carnitas enchiladas are tasty. Can't wait to try the camarones. Highly recommend!
