I made the trip to Barrow Food House between clients and I am so glad I stopped by. The location is a bit tricky but I made a turn down the road as people drive like maniacs! The parking is in the back and I used back door which was convenient, I sat at the bar area since I was alone and was quickly greeted. I was in mood for a nice juicy burger so the single smash burger was a no brainer, I also wanted to try a non alcoholic beer and yay: they had a Pilsner! As a Taurus I also could not resist as dessert do I got a veey delicious almond treat but forgot the name. Lol. I did not get to use restroom as it was occupied and my time was limited, the men behind the counter were super nice and seemed efficient, I love that you can see the cooking action from the bar and they also had a tv which I love insulting in as I don’t watch much otherwise. The place itself is very cool, they do NOT take reservations which is a good idea and it just seems like a chill place to enjoy a carefully crafted meal. I will go back! 🍔🍺🍰

LOVEEEE THIS PLACE!!! 💪🏻💖💪🏻 Food is DELISH!!! My hubs and I love to come here and sit at the bar! I order the smash burger (no bun~ come on Summers coming 😂) and my hubs last time got the roast beef sandwich! And because that wasn’t enough 😝 we split the asparagus soup and charred greens on the side! That ALL accompanied by my Chardonnay for lunch of course! 😜 The foooood is sooooo good we also bought the asparagus soup to go! If you are in the area DEF stop by! If you don’t sit by the bar, there is table service but you do go up to the bar to order~ or if you are sitting outside there is a window to place your order! There is also a fridge inside with their soups to go~ if you just want some soup to bring home! All in all~ loveeee this place~ food is fresh, delish and has a fun vibe!! 💖🥰💖~ DEF RECOMMEND 💪🏻🎉💪🏻

Barrow Food House is a culinary treasure! Every meal here is a delight, but the fried chicken thigh sandwich is an absolute must-try. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside, with flavors that will leave you craving more. The sandwich is expertly crafted, combining fresh ingredients in a way that elevates the dish to another level. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Barrow Food House is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Google
Always have a great time here. The food is always good, the service always good, the drinks are always on point. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and were lucky enough to have 2 spots available at the bar. We had a burger, bean burger, fries, mac and cheese and the broccoli. All so good.

Google
We really like this place, we have been a few times. Small, great food, great service, something a little different. Definitely worth a visit in my opinion, keep up the great work. Years later I still pop in and enjoy a tasty lunch on occasion.

Google
I had a wonderful meal at Barrow.I like the open kitchen set up. I ordered a cocktail made with beet juice which was surprisingly delicious. I started off with the Thai carrot and squash soup served with scallions and pumpkin seeds. My main course was a Smash burger with aged cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce and their special sauce. I asked about the pineapple upside down cake special but they sold out. The gentleman suggested chia pudding. I was skeptical but he said if I didn't like it, he would remove it from the bill. So now I had to try it. It was amazing!! Served with fresh juicy blueberries and house made granola. It is my new favorite dessert. When it was all over a totally enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely go back!!

Google
Really excellent and easy stop with our kids after a day out at Montauk! We ate in their outdoor seating, which has you ordering at the window. The picnic tables are perfect for eating with kids, and they danced around to the music on the speakers after eating. Our food was entirely excellent, as were the cocktails.

Google
Unexpected find outside of Riverhead. Inventive menu in laid back digs. Wish the inside had more tables for when cooler nights are here. A couple of good vegan and vegetarian option.

Yelp
Little place with BIG flavor!! Definitely a gem of a spot. The smash burgers are bigger than expected. The star of the show were the duck wings. I'm a wing guy though. The double smash I gotta say is hard to beat.

Yelp
Great neighborhood place. Love parking in the back. Food is do good. the curry bowl is vegetarian but do good. The lobster salad was yum, smashed burger always yummy. You order the food at the counter n then the server will bring the food to yr table. I love the wallpapers around the place.

Yelp
Home of my favorite smash burger! This place is a must stop whenever the family heads out East. I've been hesitant to leave a review because WE LOVE IT, & didn't want to share a secret little gem. Great service, efficient staff. Family owned. Adorable inside, small with only 1-2 tables that can accommodate larger parties. Outside has great seating (weather permitting.) Covered picnic benches on side (great for families with kids) & seating on porch as well. Huge parking lot out back & street parking out front. Usually the lot is packed especially during the busier seasons, (i.e. pumpkin picking, summer festivals, weekends.)

Yelp
Cute burger joint with great non burger options. Delicious fries! Great service. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I've been to Barrow a number of times before and just cannot stay away. Everything is always great. The service, the food, and now they have extended their parking lot since the last time I was there which makes it so much easier to visit! When the outdoor seating is full we will typically sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar gives you a server as well as a great view of the kitchen and everything happening. If you try nothing else on your visit, get the Duck Wings, you will not be disappointed! Don't forget to check the wall, they have specials on the wall that are very different than most places.

Yelp
Gentleman at the bar is rude but everything else is amazing. Great menu with some interesting dishes that are ok for NOFO but not authentic

Yelp
We were looking for a decent place to eat in the vicinity of the Long Island Aquarium and this place was one of the higher rated just a few mikes away. It's a quaint converted house with a really nice ambiance and awesome menu along with stuff for the kids. Food was great, service was good. There's partial table service, you order at the cash register and they bring it to you. It's a little pricey, so be prepared. In my opinion, totally worth the price.

Carol G.

Yelp
Great food, great owners! Ordered food to go but had a delicious cocktail at the bar while waiting. Smash burgers were super, squash latkes are my favorite! Had the lobster roll and charred greens this time and they didn't disappoint! I need to go more often!

Yelp
Barrow is a great, hidden gem that we've been enjoying for a few years now. "Hidden" in plain sight on the Main Road but we've never waited more than a few minutes for a table, and the service is always quick and efficient. Always buzzing but never overcrowded. There's more seating that appears at first glance, both outdoor and indoors; and the decor is minimal but quaint and homey. Feels like you're in someone's home - which, I believe you technically are. The seasonal menu changes but always features lots of vegetable forward and vegan options in addition to more standard fare. Charred broccoli is always delicious, and the carrot kimchi was a yummy addition to our regular order. The fried chicken sandwich is another hit. After spending the afternoon at a local vineyard, a smash burger seemed the obvious choice and it was delicious. No complaints on taste, and the pickles and house sauce were a perfect touch. Both burgers we ordered were much thicker than a typical smash, but still thinner than a regular grilled burger so they were eaten and enjoyed! I was in the mood for a true smash burger and was expecting that, so definitely a bit disappointed by the thicker burger I got - but still a 4 star meal!

Yelp
First time here and it was excellent. My burger was juicy and delicious. Fries were super skinny, the way I like them. This restaurant has a bar in the center and you order your food at the bar. They then come out and bring you your food. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend. I imagine it gets pretty crowded because the food is so delicious. I'm torn if the next time I come, I should have the chicken sandwich because that looked really good too but I wanted to first try the burger, and it did not disappoint at all. It's nicely decorated, and even though the bar is in the center, it is a lovely restaurant with very tasty food.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place and it was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Sat at the bar and watched the kitchen and bartenders knock out high volume orders without breaking a sweat. All the food was unique and amazing and the cocktails were on point! Ambiance is great and gives off more of a local vibe vs touristy.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a while. I see they expanded their parking which was quite nice and I loved the outdoor picnic tables! You order at the counter and they bring you the food. It came out so fast that my friend was still at the counter while my food was brought to the table! Food was delicious! Sorry no pics but trust me! We had a burger, the chicken salad wrap and the fries.... Always get the fries!!! Barrow, you did it again, we will be back

Yelp
Here's a fun game: what's the best sandwich at BFH? Answer: the one you just ate. The chicken sandwich is the best I've ever had. So is the Pork Hoagie, The Roast Beef, the chicken salad and the smashburger. I have taken to closing my eyes and pointing at the menu because I just can't choose.

Yelp
Came from out of town for a wedding and we were looking for a place to have a quality, but reasonably priced dinner the night before. Something about the menu here really attracted me. We had the Mac and cheese starter, the roast beef sandwich, and the curry bowl. The menu is small but there were multiple options to meet my needs as a pescatarian and my partner who eats meat was happy as well. One of my biggest challenges when traveling is choosing the right restaurant, there's nothing worse than taking a chance and being disappointed. If we were to return to the area, I think we'd repeat the visit!
google avatar

Yelp
Barrow Food House is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy high quality food. We've been here twice, once in the winter and once in the summer. Both times were great. They have a cute little enclosed porch that's nice to dine on with fans for the summer and heat lamps for the winter. They've also got some outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. I think everything on their menu is delicious. We've really enjoyed their soup special, curry, mac and cheese, black bean burger, and roast pork hoagie. We love their farm to table style of dishes and will definitely be back. This place is worth the stop if you find yourself in the area!

Yelp
Food is good. Service is rude and also unwelcoming. Going to a restaurant is meant to be a hospitable experience, even if it is cafeteria style. It's like you're in someone's house, and they don't really want anyone there. There's confusion about where to order if you're sitting on the patio - but the answer is, order inside at the bar, not at the window outside. That having been said, my experience with the food was good. I'm vegan and gluten free so I ordered the bean burger with gluten free bread. Even though quinoa is present in the burger, an ingredient I highly dislike, it was extremely tasty. The carrot kimchi and vegan cream really brings it all together nicely. They have a gluten free beer which I was very happy to drink. I also got a side of fries, which were cold for no reason, since it wasn't seemingly that busy when we were there. My friends got the chicken wrap, which they said was just simply ok, and my other friend got the fried chicken thigh sandwich and he was content

Yelp
Very good. Cool bar/ restaurant. Hubby and I went for lunch. Had asparagus soup and the chicken sandwich. Hubs had the roast beef. It was all good! Service was fast!

Yelp
Causal, well designed and comfortable. The outside area is cute, you seat yourself and order at the window. The menu is nice and has a little something for everyone. Nice drink menu and fresh ingredients. I appreciate the vegetarian and vegan options. Butternut squash soup was amazing!

Yelp
Snippy Service and OK food, we won't be back nor will you. At lunchtime, they didn't have them fixings to make a goddamn bloody Mary. I gotta tell you, there's something on-American about that kind of shit. Seriously you could at least buy Mr. T's bloody Mary mix and a little bottle of Worcestershire sauce. I said you know make a goddamn bloody Mary and the burgers are Actually pretty good but the service is uhh snarky.

Yelp
Went here for the first time the other day and really enjoyed it. Loved the vibe of this place, the inside is very cozy but lively except during my visit it was full of gnats. I was swatting them away throughout my entire meal. Food and drink were served quickly. The veggie burger I had was absolutely delicious although it did completely fall apart the second I picked it up- I can't be too mad because it was that good. My only issue was that the food came out on a paper serving tray and the side came in a brown paper cup. For an $18 burger and $15 side of broccoli I would appreciate a more sturdy plate but oh well. I would definitely recommend this place and try it again

Yelp
This a great little sandwich spot, stopped here on a whim. I had the roast beef sandwich, good portion size a little pricey however no regrets. The drinks are cans of soda so no refills, I think the can of soda was like $4... you've been warned. Service was a little hands off, ambiance was low key. Layout is a little weird we sat out on the patio. We had a family with a little kid next to us and they were a bit wild. I think if you're looking for good sandwiches with some creativity and a lively atmosphere this is a good spot to give a try.

Yelp
This should be 0 stars, but that's obviously not an option. Also, if you read a review from another Yelper about a year ago, one might think they are reading the same review considering they had the SAME experience we had today. I have been here once before and after today we will never go back again because of the extremely rude owner Kyle. Our day began with a trip out east with my family and my best friend's family to go pumpkin picking at Harbes Farm. After a long day, we wanted to have dinner together and began our YELP search. My friend who is battling breast cancer, suggested The Barrow Food House because she had dined there a bunch of times before. We arrive at the restaurant at 5:30 and there is only one table occupied in the corner indoors. We tell the owner we are a party of 8 and he says we don't like to sit parties of 8 indoors. There are a bunch of picnic tables outside but it was getting cool and buggy so we wanted to be indoors. We asked if we can split 4 adults at one table and 4 teens at the other. He grabs the menus shaking his head and rolling his eyes as he's seating our kids. My friend's husband asks him if there is a problem and he states "It doesn't matter, you are going to do what you want anyways." He made us feel that uncomfortable that we looked at one another and decided that this is not the kind of establishment that should have our business. We tell the kids to get up because we are leaving. My friend asks for the owner and he states that he is the owner (Kyle). My husband tells him that's not the way you speak to your customers and we will be leaving and Kyle states "That's ok, you will be making room for better customers anyways." We entered his restaurant quietly with smiles hoping to have a nice meal and this clown for some insane reason, decides to rudely interact with us. We were in an EMPTY dining room at 5:30 on a Thursday! I honestly can't wrap my brain around his issue with the seating. As we were leaving we told two people that the management is extremely rude. They turned around and left. We went across the street to Lucharitos where the owner was awesome, funny and had fabulous food!

Yelp
Service is great, cocktails are interesting and tasty! And the Gluten Free options here are amazing. It is rare I get to enjoy fried chicken sandwiches but some celiac out there missed them just as much and put them on a menu. Absolutely spectacular!

Yelp
Staff is friendly and "food hip." The service was fast and the food was high end, interesting and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Amazing food, great vibes. The perfect casual dinner spot. Staff is always super friendly.

Yelp
The Barrow Food House is known for their farm to table dishes that are made from scratch with many ingredients sourced from their family farm. This is a fast, casual restaurant with outside and inside dining. But it is small and the parking lot is even smaller. I suggest parking in the street. They offer counter service where you order. The food is brought to you if you are dining inside and you are called to the window if you are dining outside. When the owners are in the house, the vibe and staff seem way more friendly and upbeat. The food is very fresh and good. So far we've had the duck wings, smash burger, horseradish crusted roast beef sandwich, hand cut French fries, broccoli soup and the lobster rolls. All yummy. I will say that we were super excited to try the Lobster Roll despite its $38 price tag. And while it was good, it definitely did not live up to the hype of all the rave reviews. We were both honestly very disappointed. We probably should have ordered just one first. It would have saved us some $$$. But it's the amazing duck wings that will keep us coming back. These duck wings are indeed very unique with a nice crisp crunch with a sweet & savory kick that hits just right. We'll be back again...for sure.

Yelp
Maybe the best fries I've ever had in my life? Great burger too, delicious and cooked just right. Great atmosphere as well, love eating on the porch! Each time I go it seems to get better somehow, glad they exist. Check it out if you can.

Yelp
Was really excited to eat here but it fell flat for me. We ordered the corn chowder, Mac n cheese, double wagyu smash burger, side of fries, and couscous salad. Starting with the positive, the chowder was incredible and is highly recommended. The Mac n cheese had a velvety texture with a nice crunch on top from the breadcrumbs. The couscous salad was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the burger and fries were big misses. The burger patties were actually a little too big in my opinion. I know that sounds ridiculous but there's a certain ratio that needs to be achieved with a burger. Usually when I see smash burger, that means thin patties with a good crust. These were super thick, crust wasn't as developed as it should have been, and the beef itself was on the dry side with not enough seasoning. I expected more from wagyu. It was also a huge mess with a little too much sauce and the cheddar separated into an oily goo that dripped off the burger. The fries are just terrible. Don't even bother with them. They're thin and not very crispy. They also lacked seasoning. Two beers and $100 later I'd rather go somewhere else but that's just me.

Yelp
This owner needs a lesson on reality. He and his wife are rude nasty and don't value patrons. Big deal on the food , like I should really be impressed over a basic roast beef sandwich with horseradish on sour dough , I don't think so. I have went to J&W many years ago and in the biz. You never belittle a customer especially in front of others or yell . My wife and I won't be back. I spilt my time in the city and in Baiting Hollow. The city restaurants could teach you how a real establishment operates. So much for ordering more food and enjoying the rest of our evening that night.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
This place is awesome spot. Nice outdoor seating , order at outside window. Service is good. Good selection of beers. Get the smash burger with waygu! It's amazing. String fries are also delicious . Cocktail tasted like acid so I wouldn't come here for cocktails unless it was just a bad day. Definitely coming back.

Joelc73 ..

Yelp
Both our smash burgers were raw. Not undercooked but blood rare. There's no wait staff to even tell when you have a problem because it's all self serve. So bad. Highly recommend you stay away.
google avatar

Mark V.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. The pictures tell the story. Both the burger and chicken sandwich were juicy and full of flavor!

Janice S.

Yelp
Talk about nasty!!! I've eaten there in the past for a quick bite!!! 6 of us went there today, my husband sat down at a table and was quickly told by the owner that" you need to get up and wait over there!" The place is counter service, to find a table before ordering seemed the thing to do!! Then my son came in and the owner quickly told us we would not be served so don't bother . What a looney restaurant owner, treating patrons that way!!! Obviously I'm not the only party to be treated with such disdain if you read other ratings! Plenty of other restaurants to go to with sit down table service....and the same price. Why in God's name are you in the hospitality business!!!!!

Emily P.

Yelp
The food was delicious. My husband and I each had a sandwich (roast pork and roast beef) and we each tried half of the others'. Each was phenomenal. The kids had Mac and cheese and chicken fingers with fries. ALL of the food, even the chicken fingers, was so fresh! We ate outside, but enclosed, so no one complained about bugs! It was so easy with kids. They had a high chair ready and we ordered at the counter. They brought the food to us. I thought it was reasonably priced as well. We will return for sure!
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
Received a very warm welcome with a priority for our comfort, as we were a party of 5 with an infant. Great attentive service. Food was fantastic! Will be back, making it on our local favorite list.
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
I pass Barrow all the time and finally had the opportunity to stop. Nice size bar. Small amount of tables. You order your food at the counter and it is brought to your table. I ordered the gluten free roast beef sandwich. Generous size and delicious. My husband and I shared a order of fries. Thank goodness we didn't get our own. Portion was huge. I was very happy that they had a separate fryer for the fries. Look forward to going back.

Yelp
Smallish joint has benefitted form expanding their parking lot. Is it good for groups? (Asks Yelp! auto bot). Not really. Good for couples or a couple of couples but not set up for large mobs like, say, Bluepoint Brewery in Patchogue or Jamesport Farm Brewery or Greenport Brewery (Peconic) is. It's a nice little resto that serves well-made pub grub. Sat at the bar. Decent selection of booze hangs on funky shelves before you. It seems like they probably make good cocktails and, if I was local, this might be the place I would go to punish my liver. But I'm really here for the chow and to pre-game before drinking wine a bit further east. Menu is simple, straightforward and well executed. I had the smash burger. You really can't go wrong with a smash burger. I don't know if White Castle counts as a smash burger but, if it does, this is White Castle's sexier, higher end sister. Imagine you're in an 80s movie and you pull up to pick up the geek queen for prom and she comes out in Manolo Blahniks and a killer, skin tight dress sans glasses (or perhaps avec, it's your fantasy). But yeah, it's like that. Moist (heheheh), salty, tasty and appropriately messy. Side of fries is extra but crispy and big enough to share (maybe). Decent selection of craft beer for that craft beer geek in you. Also highly recommend the duck wings; moist (there's that word again!) and flavorful. Also a favorite. Great spot to grab a bite as you start your adventures out on the North Fork.

Yelp
We walked in for an unplanned dinner after a visit to the vineyards. It looks like a regular house from the outside, but the inside is decorated with dark, 1960s vibes. You pick a seat and order at the counter by the bar. It's a quite small place, not for huge groups. We had a couple of canned beers, the breakfast burrito, and the fried okra because we didn't want a huge meal. The breakfast burrito had a duck confit inside and came with a side of salsa verde that was nice and hot. The duck was cooked perfectly, as were the eggs. The flavor combination and the execution honestly surprised me. The okra was yummy as well. I usually don't enjoy the texture of okra, but it was fried in a way that preserved the crunchy exterior so that it can serve as a contrast to the sticky, gooey inside. The bar looked stacked. If I had more time and leisure, I would have tried more food and drinks. They all sounded really interesting.

Yelp
Borrow Food House may possibly look like just a fast casual spot (with options indoors and a take out window with picnic tables on the side) but but the food is super delicious. The standout dishes being the following: Horseradish Crusted Roast Beef Sandwich pepperoncini, provolone, greens, roasted garlic mayo, sourdough - $18 Smash Burger (Single or Double)- aged cheddar, bacon, pickles, house sauce, shredded lettuce, steamed white onion, brioche bun $12 single $15 double Super elevated and well worth the price.

Yelp
We were at Harbes today and wanted to stop for a quick bite to eat before heading home. I was dying for a smash burger but Lake Grove was too far, so we found Barrow Food House because they have what they call a 'Smash Burger' on the menu. First thing is first. The staff is so rude. We walked in and were told they can't accommodate more than four and we had to sit outside. We even asked them if we could just sit at separate tables seeing as we were two separate families, they would not even allow us to do that. I don't know, that's odd. Had two groups of four walked in, they would have been seated, what's the difference? We did not ask them to combine tables. It was fifty degrees out, but I get it, we went outside. The 'rude' comes from the gentleman at the window taking the order. My wife went up to order and while she was ordering the 'Smash Burger', which has six things on it by default, she started to tell him 'no pickles, no lettuce', and before the word lettuce came out of her mouth, he literally jumped down her throat and said 'why don't you just tell me what you want on it, instead of what you don't want on it'. Listen, we both have thick skin, but come on, the same amount of words are going to come out of her mouth either way, lighten up a bit. If there's six things on the burger by default and you don't want three of them, well, 'no lettuce, no pickles, no onions' compared to 'with cheese, with bacon, with house sauce' works out to be the same thing. As far as the food, I ordered the 'Smash Burger', which is NOT a smashed burger. It was round and thick, not even close to a 'Smash Burger'. Picture attached for reference. Putting that aside, the burger was decent, it was just a burger, nothing to write home about. Not sure if I loved the crumbled bacon on it, it kind of reminded me of those soft bacon bits, not real bacon. The fries were decent. I don't really like to comment on food I didn't eat, so I'll leave my wife, and kids out of the review. In short, they were fine with their chicken. We had another family with us, she experienced the same rude gentleman when she ordered. I don't know specifics, but she had just said he was very rude. ‍ If it wasn't for the rudeness, I'd likely go three star, because my 'Smash Burger' was not a smashed burger. But, considering him, I have to go two star. When you go to McDonald's, maybe even a diner, and you spend ~$40, I guess rude and/or terse staff is somewhat expected. But, when you're spending ~$120 for a family of four for a burger, and chicken, freezing your butt off outside, I don't know, expectations are a bit higher. Keep in mind, I am the odd-ball here, this spot is loaded with five star reviews, I am simply sharing my personal experience.

Yelp
First time here, but I've passed it so many times and had it on my radar forever. I was so impressed with: the quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, and the speed at which our order came out! Everything was incredible. The autumn sunshine bowl was one of the best salads I've had in a long time! I subbed the citrus vin dressing for balsamic & I absolutely loved it!

Yelp

Yelp
Food was ready for pickup in 10 min. Duck wings out of this world The Roast Beef Sandwich...as I was taking my first bite I was dreaming of when I would be eating it again...it was that good. A+ across the board

Yelp
I've been to this place now a few times and I really do enjoy it.. I think everyone should start out with the spaghetti squash latkes, they're amazing... really, I don't think I've ever had something like that but anyone will love! Burger.. so good. The curry bowl was actually out of this world, I just wish there was chicken in it lol... I'm not vegetarian or vegan, so I need meat lol. One of the girls I went with got the asparagus Caesar and It looked so good.. with crispy bacon... love that for my salad. I don't love the way you have to order in the corner first but whatever I guess it works for this place since it's small. The drinks are A++. Bar seating over table seating, always.

Yelp
I have been looking for a hamburger to replace the ones prepared in my beloved Good Steer (closed two years ago). I found it at Barrow. Believe me, the quest was not an easy one. I suffered through many dried burgers. Barrow's burger was delish. Great proportions, juicy, nice. Thank you. Long may you run!

Yelp
Loved the sandwiches we got. The combination of food to please the foodie, fast-food style order at the kitchen and host/food-runner/bus-boy minimalist staffing made it a unique and enjoyable experience. Feels more like ordering at a bar than a fast food joint and they have a nice selection of beers. Grab a beer, order your food and a server will find you at your table when you're ready. You don't feel rushed by a server and when you go to leave you've already paid so just go (turn your nose at fast food places all you like, it's a proven format). I believe the tips are shared among the staff which makes you feel like you're bolstering the kitchen staff that made two of the best sandwiches we ever had. We're hoping to go back the last Sunday of this month and we live out in Patchogue. We ordered the duck wings, roast beef sandwich and double smash burger and nothing disappointed! The wings were tender and a bit alien in texture compared to chicken and the tamarind/passion fruit glaze with the cucumber raita dipping sauce was unique and delicious. The roast beef was perfectly balanced with the ratio of butter toasted bread, greens and condiments and the smash burger was a perfect burger with the same great balance of aged cheddar, bacon, pickles, house sauce, shredded lettuce, steamed white onion and brioche. I look forward to trying the pork hoagie, the curry and chicken thigh sandwiches in future visits.
