We recently visited bartaco in Aventura, Florida, and as always, the experience was exceptional. Having been there many times before, we’ve come to expect great vibes, and this visit was no different. The atmosphere remains electric—casual yet lively, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy amazing food. This time, we had the chance to try some new seasonal items. The gazpacho was a standout—chilled, refreshing, and full of bold flavor. Topped with crispy croutons, it was the perfect start to our meal. As fans of gazpacho, this one absolutely delivered. The tacos, as always, were phenomenal. The pork belly tacos are a must—rich, flavorful, and so easy to keep ordering. We also had the fish, shrimp (a new seasonal option), and octopus tacos, and each was uniquely delicious. We also enjoyed some drinks, which were just as impressive. I had the Pisco—a refreshing, well-balanced cocktail. The watermelon drink was light and crisp, while the classic margarita hit all the right notes. Bartaco consistently nails it with top-notch food, excellent drinks, great service, and an unbeatable vibe—all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Does its job. Not the most delicious food or drinks, but great for groups and good vibes. Everyone orders off their own phones, you avoid the hassle of splitting bills. Esquites the most delicious thing on the menu. Roasted chicken was juicy and very good. Kale chips weren’t bad, wouldn’t get again though.

Bartaco opened recently and we wanted to check it out because we love tacos! It is located further north of Aventura Mall at a smaller mall where Nordstrom Rack is located. They recently opened and offer Mexican street tacos and other entrees. We were only interested in the tacos. The interior decor is rustic, casual and pleasing. The service was friendly and attentive by Andres. We decided to try a variety of items. I ordered a trio of street tacos - the mojo pork, the pork belly, and the chicken verde. I specifically asked for non-spicy because I cannot handle too much spicyness. I was assured that these would not be spicy. Oh boy, was my tongue burning!! I drank lots of water to put out the fire in my mouth. Each taco was SPICY! I was not spared. I am really disappointed. The very small, tiny tortilla was about 3 bites big and it was not cooked thoroughly. No crispiness at all. There wasn't much meat added, like I said 3 bites per taco. The trio of sauces were super spicy so I couldn't use them either. The best taco to me was the Pork Belly taco. It had the least amount of spicy hot taste. My daughter ordered the lobster esquites with corn, which she said was just ok. Her shrimp taco didn't taste very good. The duck taco with birria sauce was just ok. The churros were overcooked. So she was disappointed also. She said that the Pineapple Pisco Punch was good. Her bill came to $65.00 + and Minecraft around $12. The prices are not reasonable for the amount of the food presented. For those who care, they do add the tip in the bill. I think it rounded out to 20%. Since there are only spicy tacos, then I doubt that we will be returning. This was a long drive for us. I hope they offer better options in the near future.

Google
I LOVE Bartaco! I'm here for work and I stayed at Aloft. When I looked for a place to eat this place was attached to the hotel, so, very convenient. When I mentioned I was going to have dinner here, a colleague said that the tacos are "amazing!" She was absolutely correct! I had the fish (crunchiest fish tacos I've ever had!), chorizo, and pork belly tacos...delicious! And the street corn was also fantastic. The servers were friendly, and timely and very professional. This a MUST try!

Google
First night in Aventura and we decided to try this place. We were not disappointed. We were seated within g ten minutes of arriving. Our server greeted us almost immediately and took our drink orders. He also helped us understand what specials we had to choose from and gave us a brief rundown of the menu. After we placed our order, we had our food at the table within 10 minutes. I got a pork bowl and pork tacos. Everything tasted amazing. I spent less than $40 on my meal. We started off with the chips and sals and guacamole. It tasted fresh. I enjoyed the decor in the restaurant too. It was really cute and on theme for the restaurant. The service was the absolute best. Our server was attentive and informative. We felt welcomed and valued.

Ordered a to go order and got verification at 2134, arrived to pick my order 15 minutes later. I knew it might take the full 25 minutes they mentioned, happy to wait......20 minutes later got the food. I made the mistake of not checking every single item right in front of them when I received it since they knew I was waiting and I even showed them the order and they went over it and then put everything together in the bag. Walked over to my hotel... Changed clothes, sat down, set out the items, was super happy to get started on my Taco's, the Poke Bowl, my Cucumbers... Then I realized they had not given me any taco shells. To give a Latin person tacos without the actual tacos shells is sacrilegious. I'm laughing while I'm writing this because I'm so upset that there's nothing else to do. I'm not getting dressed and walking back down there. I threw away the shrimp, avocado and lettuce because I have nothing to eat it with. It might have been really delicious if I would have gotten what I paid for and waited all that time. The Ahi tuna poke bowl was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it I was staying directly above the restaurant for the week. I will not be visiting this place again. Customer service is number one without it, you have nothing, they had even added their own tip when I ordered everything on their site.

Yelp
Amazingly delicious tacos! You must try the pork belly and finish with the tres léché desert. My husband and I had dinner here last night and came back for lunch today.

Yelp
Stopped by bartaco for happy hour and left with a happy belly! The tacos are priced individually between $2.95-$4.95, which made it easy to mix and match. I ordered the crispy shrimp taco and the chili lime shrimp taco--both were flavorful, but I kept thinking how elite the crispy shrimp would be if it had the same zesty seasoning as the chili lime. Still, each had its own unique flavor profile, and I appreciated that. I also tried their 3-for-$8 happy hour appetizer trio, which came with a bite-sized sample of the tuna tartare crispy rice, crispy chicken flautas, and shrimp mariscos. Everything was delicious, though I do wish the portions were just a bit bigger--but hey, for $8, I can't be mad at it. The bartender was super friendly, and the vibe was chill. The ambiance lets you draw your own conclusion--it's laid-back and unpretentious, which works for a happy hour unwind. All in all, solid flavors, good prices, and a welcoming staff. Would definitely come back to try more!

Yelp
Great location in Aventura, just north of the mall. My friends and I had a pleasant experience sitting outside on their patio. Our server was very sweet and guided us through the order process. You can use the app, or fill out the sheet on the table. Guacamole was flavorful, I enjoyed adding the green jalapeño sauce placed on each table(not too spicy). All 3 of us could not stop saying how great each taco was! The only thing we didn't love was the tuna poke. It was a little tougher than we'd hoped, but we still ate it and enjoyed the flavors. If you're on the fence about getting it, I'd say skip this one. We were happy to see the crafted mocktails! Our friend is pregnant, and she enjoyed sipping the grapefruit basil Mocktini. Overall, great service from Harley and great food!

Yelp
Not ur typical taco bar, this is a fancy upscale taco spot! The food was good and the margaritas were plenty. Very chic and modern ambience. The team were welcoming and friendly! If u want a traditional taco spot this isn't it!

Yelp
Bartaco @bartacolife Aventura, FL Such a great spot! Very clean. I really enjoyed the Reposado Margaritas made with fresh juice. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. The Tacos were flavorful. I got the shrimp, baja fish, and oyster tacos. The Churros were yummy. Everything was on point! Service was great! Sebastian took care of me! Yelp
Sunday self love day... Shopping and a quick bite at Bartaco. Leaving Nordstrom Rack I typed in food and this was the first spot that came up. Restaurant Roulette I like to call it. Helps me decide since I never can. I love sitting outside and the outdoor decor was really cute. I've never been here before so I went with the server's recommendation. I had three tacos, tajin pineapples, and a small chips and guac. To drink I had a pineapple pisco punch. I had one of each pork belly, Baja fish, and duck tacos. They were all really good. The fish taco has a little kick to it. The chips and guac were really good too and it's the first time my chips were served as whole tortillas but that's a cute idea. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent garage and they will validate your ticket. I really glad I came and I'll definitely be back with friends

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** The outdoor patio is what caught our attention! Great patio size for a large group. Our Order: Drinks: House Margarita Appetizer: Small Chips and Dip Entrees: (1) Mushroom Taco, (2) Cauliflower Taco, (3) Falafel Taco, and (4) Brussel Sprouts Taco Their bar does not use syrups, sours, or mixers, they use whole ingredients - which we loved! You could absolutely taste the difference in their margaritas. The salsas are spicy and have a unique great flavor. The Brussel Sprouts Taco was PHENOMENAL - and I was very disappointed to learn that it was the seasonal taco. Their regular menu tacos are good, but they don't compare to the Brussel Sprouts. I wish they took reservations, they do first come first serve, or you can join their waitlist from their website. PS: Dog Friendly Patio!

Yelp
I ordered a brown rice and beans for me and my kids. I only received a large beans and the SMALLEST portion of rice. We were unable to eat dinner properly. The roasted chicken was super cold too. Not satisfied at all. First time trying this place. Not my favorite.

Yelp
I had a great time at Bartaco. I went with my cast of at least 25 people for a musical that I am rehearsing for here in Miami. Our server, Hector, did a great job! I know how difficult having a large party size can be for a server. He was very attentive. The food was delicious. I had the duck Birria quesadillas, pork belly tacos, and duck tacos as well as the house margarita. I would highly recommend stopping by.

Yelp
Staying at the Aloft, we wanted to take advantage of the convenient eating options within walking distance. We love Mexican/Tex Mex food so the decision was made to dine here. Pups are welcome inside; however, our server instructed us to have them sit on the floor. That soon changed when other small pups were sitting on chairs at other tables. Expensive small portions were not memorable. Hubby enjoyed his Mediterrean cauliflower bowl that was topped with large slices of carrots. The small guacamole was tasty but minute in size. The hot fresh chalupa chips were tasty. The black beans were good. Tacos are tiny plenty of veggie options though. *Mushrooms were very spicy, overwhelming any other flavors. *Brussel sprout taco was better. * Cauliflower was my favorite but different than what is posted on their online menu. Meal was good. Maybe happy hour would be a fun option.... We liked the way you notify the server by turning the plastic card upright. Service was good. I am sure it had been a hectic day with all of us in town to escape the storm.

Yelp
The entire experience was amazing. Food was great and our waitress was very nice. Don't skip on the pork Belly taco!! Great place and very reasonable with their prices. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Stopped into bartaco twice during our trip to Miami. The first experience was much better than the second. The first time we sat outside on a taco Tuesday. The place was fairly full, but the service was swift, tacos came out quickly and were very very fresh. The second time our server was great, but the tacos took about 45 minutes to come out and didn't even all taste fresh. The tortillas were falling apart, fish seemed too oily and the pork belly was all fat and overcooked. We'll have to go back a third time to see which experience was actually the norm. The large trio was consistently delicious both time. Highly recommend this app to share.

Yelp
U was an avid patron of Bartaco, but began to notice a a decline in the food quality, so I stopped coming. I was in the area and decided to give it another try, but once again, I felt like the restaurant felt short. The ribeye taco was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The Baja fish taco was pretty much all breading and was extremely small. The pork belly was the best one by far. But I don't feel like the portions and quality of the food is worth the price. I definitely left feeling disappointed.

Yelp
Bartaco has such a great concept--you order everything on your phone, and they bring it out super fast! No pressure to order and you can add items as frequently as you want. The service was also really friendly, which made the experience even better. They have a huge variety of options beyond just tacos, and the drinks were fantastic. My cousin got the oyster tacos, and even as someone who isn't usually a fan of oysters, I have to admit they were really good. The steak and chicken tacos were also delicious. Overall, a great spot for a quick lunch with tasty bites and drinks!

Yelp
So another quick review of a new place I've never been to. I'm traveling for work. I will stay in a hotel that had this establishment attached to it. I stopped in for a quick bite and a drink and the atmosphere was very nice and laid-back it wasn't very busy at the hour. I stopped by and the staff was very attentive And I have no complaints. The tacos were good and they have an interesting order method through an app. The tacos were delicious and it's worth a try if you ever get a chance.

Yelp
I was staying at the hotel across the street and saw this spot had a pretty good menu, so I came for lunch on a Monday just after noon. The indoor dining area is a beautiful space, with lots of warm lighting. Everyone seemed to be dining inside because of the heat, but I opted for the patio, and it wasn't too bad since it was shaded. Seems that I set the trend because shortly after, a few more parties chose the patio too. For the menu, there's no paper menu. You scan the QR code and you can order that way, or just order with the waiter. I went with: -Kale Caesar with cotija - I never thought to put cotija for a caesar salad but I'm definitely going to start making this myself at home -Duck birria - this was like a duck quesadilla with consomme and it was so good. They're pretty small though. I definitely could have eaten two of these -Baja fish taco - this was an amazing fish taco. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish was soft and flaky -Glazed pork belly taco - this was nice and tender, but a bit messy to eat -Crispy shrimp taco - I actually ordered this as a second round because the fish was perfectly fried, but the shrimp was not as light. It was also a bit bland. Their trio of hot sauces helped though - my favorite was the red sauce It was a great meal, and I liked that the menu was very unique/creative, with a nice variety.

Yelp
Great food and service. Got four pork belly tacos and they were outstanding. Reposado Marg was elite. Nice lively, yet classy vibe instead. Definitely would recommend if you're staying in the area.

Yelp
Have always liked bartaco, it's consistent, clean, and hit the spot. The bar manager hector was so sweet and attentive. Bartenders Felipe and Jesus are both amazing. I'm omw there again right now!

Yelp
Taco fusion style. Visiting from out of town, my husband and I tried this spot on a Saturday evening. Ambience was very nice, great music, lighting and heaters lit on the outside. We are immediately greeted by Friendly. Staff given him water. Ordered our drinks, a few tacos and sides. A lobster ceviche was amazing! The ribeye tacos, not so much, felt like the sesame was a little overpowering, and it tasted more like Korean Bulgogi. Margarita was great and. Old town was too.recommend the Duck Birria but these portions are all small.

Andru R.

Yelp
The service is very helpful. They're very good at explaining everything to you well now the restaurant works you order with a little ticket. The ambiance is nice. It has outside seating and indoor side seating wasn't too noisy when I was there. The food was pretty good on the appetizer and most the other stuff. It all has that ice that is chili spice. It's in everything which I did not care for. Every bite I took of everything had that spice in it. Other than that, good place to eat

Yelp
Late night spot was a success! This hidden gem was a great choice. We played jenga while we waited for a table and really liked the chill atmosphere Once seated we had the option to order through the server or by scanning QR code and ordering food and drinks through there. My classic margarita was great and they had a great choice of beers from local breweries. They immediately brought us some chips and guac that were very fresh and I enjoyed all my tacos, especially the ribeye taco, which was also the favorite of many in my party. Keep in mind, tacos are 2-3 bites and are a bit smaller than your ordinary tacos, but they are packed with flavor. If you want to try some cool tacos, they definitely have a variety! They even have a crab one (not my favorite but exotic flavor), and duck taco which I was told was tasty but didn't try it myself.

Yelp
I questioned coming here because of a couple reviews, glad I did. Tacos are , service is incredible (Felipe @ the bar) and the tortilla soup was delicious. I'm back on the low carb kick and they offer Bibb lettuce in lieu of tortillas for the tacos - it was perfect. Had 1 fish taco, it was fried, wish it was grilled, and 2 chicken verde tacos - per the reviews - they are amazing!!! Soup was good, literally chicken off the bone - found a bone in it... It is right across the street from the AC Marriott. Open air seating inside & out... it's Miami. Only negative, 2 pm on a Saturday and they said it was 20 minute wait on service at tables. Sat at the bar and had my food in 10???

Yelp
This place has a really nice vibe. We sat at the bar and bartender was super nice. We started with a margarita with mezcal. Super delicious yet has a smoky taste. Highly recommend it. We ordered the trio with chips which came with guacamole, red and green sauce. Omg. A punch of flavor at every bite. :) And ended with tacos. I had the chile lime shrimp tacos and spiced chicken verde. Both were amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. Great outdoor seating, friendly staff, incredible food, and agua fresca! The kids meal is the best kids meal I've ever witnessed. Everything is delicious and ordering it a la cart makes trying lots of things possible. This is our go-to spot when we are in the area. I wish we had one in MA! Can't gush enough about the flavors & quality.

Yelp
Love this new shopping center in Aventura named Aventura Parksquare. It has restaurants like Bartaco, Graziano's, Pura Vida and more. Also has the Aloft hotel for lodging. I decided to try Bartaco as my first restaurant. I loved the relaxed ambiance, the bar caught my attention, you can see the open space from the walkway. So I had to give it a try. The decor gives Mexican street food with a coastal vibe. We sat outside in the patio and loved that we could people watch. Our waiter was very friendly and told us to scan the barcode and order from the app. This made it easy to order and the waiter brought out the food. He recommended the house margaritas and they were delicious we did two rounds. We ordered: esquites, guacamole and salsa with chips to start. We chose the corn to be cut already instead of on the Cobb. Omg it was so good just like the street corn I would get from the food vendors in Dallas. Yes, I love Mexican food! We got two salsas with our chips and they were so fresh. One was spicy verde and the other was salsa Roja very addictive. The chips were tortillas fried and served as is. For food we ordered: sesame ribeye bowl, steak taco, duck taco, and roasted half chicken. The tacos had lots of flavor and jammed packed with meat. That is a good portion. The roasted chicken was seasoned well with garlic rosemary and additional herbs and melted in your mouth. I liked it so much that I came back for a 2nd time the following week. The staff is attentive and friendly. The people are friendly. Cool relaxed vibe with good Mexican food at great prices!

Yelp
Tf is my refund ? I was charged twice. Three times if you count the $1 charge that eventually fell off . Ref photo* I called George, manager in Aventura and was assured that the refund was being processed two weeks ago. Had a great time but I knew there would be some confusion with the app/swiping my debit card . I just want my money.

Yelp
THE BEST and most consistent Bartaco location in Florida; they should be the prototype for all other locations. George & Gideon provide excellent leadership and communication that is implemented by the rest of the staff including the chefs. One time an order didn't come out good and the chef came to my table to personally ask how it could be better; he remade the order to perfection the second time around! The food is great especially the cucumber salad and the guacamole. I wish they made burritos but I guess the ambiance of the place makes up for typical items left off the menu. The churros with ice cream are an excellent available choice as well. Thank you to senior management and the entire Bartaco Aventura team for your continued professionalism, hospitality, and kindness every time I've visited; if I could give 10 stars I would without a doubt! Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Amazing restaurant!! We LOVE this location. My husband and I have been coming here for over a year and it's always amazing. Andres helped us and he was THE BEST! He was on it with everything we needed. When you come, you must have a Pork Belly taco as well as the shrimp! But it really doesn't matter what taco you eat, you can't go wrong. You must also have a house margarita or two or three! This location is fun and open! The music is always great and the staff is super friendly!!! We highly recommend!!

Bitch B.

Yelp
Service is so bad I wish I could leave zero stars. Paola was our server and she was the worst attending. I literally seen her picking her teeth and the manager taking personal calls in the back after I've been asked them over 10 minutes ago to attend to us. tell me why the chefs are literally taking selfies when they should be making my pork belly tacos in the back. The food was freezing cold. When It got to our table, I had to send it back i think it grew ice on the food. How are these incompetent ass servers going to handle a full restaurant when it was just me and my friend eating. NOT to mention there were no pencils we were waiting 10 MINUTES TO GET ONE TO ORDER. The only decent human being was the decent food runner who made sure to help us in not sure his name but he had a bun. THE FRONT OF HOUSE GUY WAS THE WORSTTTT PERSON EVER. MUST BE FIRED NEVER COME HERE AGAIN

Yelp
I was super impressed by variety of unique tacos and they were all delicious and extremely reasonable prices. Our bartender was amazing and made the best mojitos we ever had. Beautiful location and authentic decor. We had a blast and will definitely be going back!

Yelp
We came here for a late dinner date on a Sunday, first impression was that the place was clean, cozy and good vibes. We had a pineapple margarita and an old fashioned (10/10) the guacamole was okay, but the glazed pork belly and the sesame ribeye tacos were delicious. I excited to try the churros but unfortunately they were not good at all, bland, no taste, barely any sugar and the dipping sauces were not good. Overall service was great, ambiance was great and will probably come back and try other food items.

Yelp
A pleasant time was had at bartaco. My favorite taco as always is their crispy pork belly one. It is so good. Also their cocktails are always good. They have a nice outside patio area which I enjoyed.

Yelp
Great food at a great price! The place is gorgeous giving some real tropical mexican vibes. We sat at the bar and ordered some delicious margaritas. I love the fact that you order on a paper with a pencil. So you get to write down what you want. I got the seared chorizo taco and the spiced chicken verde. Both had such great flavor. My favorite was definitely the chorizo though. It is so flavorful. We also got the chips with guac+roja+verde sauces. The chips are basically fried large round tortillas. Everything was delicious. The rojo sauce is more on the spicy side but still really delicious. The bartender was really working the bar. She was so nice and helpful. Always made sure our glasses stayed full. Great place for happy hour!
google avatar

Deby R.

Yelp
Fun laid back spot, the staff is always friendly. You have to order through the QR code if you sit at the table or by filling out a paper if you sit at the bar. The food is great, I would highly recommend the pork belly tacos and the churros. The tacos are on the smaller side so order accordingly. The esquite and churros were a good portion that can be shared with two individuals.

Yelp
The food was so yummy!!! Duck birria was really good. Cucumber salad and corn was amazing. GET THE QUESADILLAS on the kids menu ... lol. Our server was incredible! The patio was cute.

Yelp
Bartaco is reasonably priced for the Aventura area, with great food and a high-energy, casual and fun ambiance. Parking is via the nearby garage which was about $6 I believe. We liked most everything we tried and whats especially nice is that their menu is almost Tapas like given the small portions and fair prices, so you can try many different things! The service was also very solid, a rarity in Miami. We loved the mushroom tacos. We liked the duck and steak tacos too. The kale Cesar was unexpectedly fantastic, so much so that we ordered 2 "large" bowls each (they're not that large, but they're also very fairly priced at $5!. Yes, in 2024!). The regular salad was great too but it's a bit confusing as to why it's priced higher for the same size bowl. I tried the half chicken and it was good, despite being a bit smaller than you'd expect but again, fairly priced at like $12 if I remember correctly. Def looking forward to going back and trying more. I would love it if they offered a few more options for red wine by-the-glass, if Im nitpicking. Also, their pours were quite light, somewhat uncommon at casual spots.

Yelp
Always a solid meal, great ambiance, nice small tapas type portions. Great bar as well. Shani the waitress, always makes my experience wonderful.

Yelp
This is perfect spot to come to as it's down the street from one of my offices so I love coming after work or even during lunch. The location is super cute inside and out with spacious seating. I love the concept of ordering as you scan, order, pay and your food will literally arrive to your table in 5 minutes which is perfect if you are on a time crunch and need to get back to work. The staff is amazing and always available should you have questions or need suggestions. The bathrooms are clean which is a plus! We've tried a little bit of everything and there is nothing I do not like. Highly recommended fresh food and delicious drinks

Yelp
Had such a great time at bartaco Aventura! Our server, Andres, was amazing--he was super nice, funny, and so attentive the whole time. He really made the experience fun and even surprised us with some bartaco merch, which was such a sweet touch! The food was so yummy--highly recommend the esquites and the pork belly tacos, they were seriously delicious. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
GREAT SERVICE. Like, if anything stood out, it was the incredible service. Our server (Val?) was great! They really went out of their way to ensure we received excellent service. We will probably return just for this. Our little had enjoyed the food, which is always a plus. The pineapple from the kids tray was delicious. The tacos were good. While i didn't love them all, i particularly enjoyed the fried oyster and pork belly tacos. I'd get mostly multiple of these if we turn (i should say when... lol) The outdoor section was nice. They had heaters going since it was a chilly so flo day. Nice music. Good vibes!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my tacos and guac and Bartaco, but the service was lacking. I purposely chose to sit at the bar because you usually get faster, better service, but not in this case. After taking our order, The bartender pretty much ignored us and never provided us with napkins or utensils. That being said, the pork belly taco was outstanding and the guac had the perfect amount of acidity. The price point was also great. Guess I'll be sitting at a table next time.

Yelp
Second time to a Bartaco. Service and food are so good. Try the fish, duck and oyster tacos. Guacamole is perfection. Margaritas are great for anyone who prefers not to drink mostly syrup. The app makes it super easy to order. And don't forget to finish with some churros!

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant of all time and this is my favorite location! When I am in the area I usually visit once a day. The service is amazing! The servers are so friendly and cute! The menu has a little something for everyone and a lot of something for me! I love the cucumbers, plantains, chorizo taco and gimme all the cocktails! The margaritas are THE best I've ever had! Always fresh and delicious, I couldn't ask for more. The decor and atmosphere are fabulous, very Miami upscale cool vibe without the crazy prices. I tell EVERYONE about Bar taco, it is the absolute best. I'm so glad it exists!

Yelp
Wow. I am so blown away by Bartaco that I barely made it to my car before I started writing this. With my celiac diagnosis just about to reach its 2 month mark, I have a somewhat pessimistic outlook on finding places with gluten free options. I was running medical errands in Aventura today and had planned ahead to eat at Bolay, but since I've had it a couple of days this week I decided to look at what other options were in the area. Bartaco was the second GF place on the list, and I was floored when I saw that about 95% of the menu was GF except the quesadillas and the bulk of the desserts. I was helped by Julian throughout my visit, and he was an absolute delight. The servers are very clear about the menu but you can also check everything in writing through the restaurant's ordering interface. I ordered the pork, falafel, and Baja fish tacos. My favorite were the Baja fish and the pork. I also ordered the guac and chips and was surprised at how fresh the guac is. I was briefed further on the restaurant's process and they have 4/5 dedicated GF fryers. I almost cried as I thought that this would be a wonderful place where I could bring my family and friends without feeling like I'm limiting them or imposing due to my condition. This is genuinely good and fresh food worth enjoying. I can't wait to come back! The vibes are so good here, with trendy yet cozy ambiance. PS - all of what I had did have a small kick so if you're sensitive to spicy, please do keep that in mind.
