On one hand, this place is great. The tacos are very tasty and they come out of the kitchen quickly. It's nice that you can order additional ones easily. The atmosphere is also good. But the tacos are small and it takes a lot to fill you up. Each taco is cheap but they add up if you want to be full.

Far from impressed. Had the pastor tacos. Not authentic for starters, shredded pork and definitely not on the trompo. Mushy and tasteless. Gave me the end of the lime with no juice. Hot sauce tastes like drinking apple cider vinegar. And portion sizes are tiny. The rest of my party got bowls and they were not an adequate amount of food for an adult. Bummed. Won’t be back.

Today I had the opportunity to eat at this great restaurant. I highly recommend it. Its flavors are unique. I highly recommend the pork belly taco, it was a favorite with everyone at the table. The service was also fantastic. Our friend Rachel served us in an incredibly duper manner. Thanks to my job, I learned about this restaurant. I have the wonderful opportunity to bring you quality products from GRECO TEAM. Thank you, guys from Bartaco. Congratulations. Keep it up and don't lose your essence.

Do yourself a favor and get the duck Birria. It’s so unique. All of our tacos were delicious! Can’t wait to visit again.

Edit March: Just have to add a star because the owner sent me a gift certificate to give bartaco another shot! That’s a really cool move and I greatly respect and appreciate that. I have not had a chance to come in again hence only one extra star, but I hope to come in as soon as possible and adjust my review accordingly! January: I’m not going to lie, I was fairly underwhelmed and disappointed with our visit, which always hurts to say about a taco spot. Pros: - Excellent pork belly taco! - Good atmosphere. - Nice lounge to wait in. - Tacos were brought out quickly. Cons: - Not a fan of placing the order through the QR code on the table. I mean, we essentially received very little service and then the payment portal had the audacity to be set at a pretty high tip… - When our tacos were brought over, they were for some reason all jumbled up together despite there being two separate orders (one for each couple in our group). The person who dropped them off briefly said what the tacos were (without clearly indicating which was which) and then left. It took us a while to sort through whose taco was whose, and even then I think one taco was incorrect. - The amount of filling was pretty meh compared to other taco places. Not nearly as big a bang for your buck as Torchy’s or Vatos (which have better tasting tacos anyway). - The roasted duck and sesame ribeye tacos were underwhelming. - It’s 2025. Why are restaurants still not including prices on their website??? Huge pet peeve of mine, one full star knocked off for that alone. Overall, not super impressed unfortunately. And between the QR code ordering and not including prices on their website, there’s just an unpleasant scammy vibe. Will be continuing to choose Torchy’s and Vatos instead!

Google
Great unusual tacos. They tend to be spicy & have onions which can be modified. I had duck tacos which were great. Their fish tacos look interesting. This is a great diversion from the usual tex/mex tacos

Google
The food was so good! The dining experience was unique, and that we ordered using our phones, and as socially awkward people, this eased anxiety about ordering. Ordering was a breeze! Our server was super sweet, helped us with the menu and explained everything, which was appreciated, because we had a very picky eater dining with us. The menu was detailed and helped guide our decisions, and the food was 10/10. We loved the street style tacos, small, so we could eat more! ;)

Google
I love this place! Bartaco has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and phenomenal food. I had the nonalcoholic grapefruit/ginger drink too and it was really good and made with real ginger juice. I’ll be back!

Yelp
We visited Bartaco tonight & we're a family of four. Our servers were Sarah & Rachel who were absolutely OUTSTANDING!! They made our experience SO much more better. There weren't many vegetarian options, which I was and with someone with a tree nut allergy, that limited the options even more. All I really wanted was a bean & cheese taco with lettuce cheese tomato and onion, and these ladies DELIVERED!!! My husband & FIL filled their bellies with the pork belly tacos which they absolutely loved. I also ordered a spicy marg which was insanely delicious. All in all, this was one amazing dinner & would recommend to anyone looking at this review. Hope to be back one day!

Yelp
Let me paint you a picture... We landed in Denver on a Tuesday, stopped in bartaco for lunch to visit our old friends and told stomping ground. That same Tuesday, we went for dinner with 6 friends and sat with Hannah and Thea at the bar! The next day, Wednesday, I not only got a to go for lunch, but went back for drinks the same night. THE NEXT DAY, haha, we went back in just to stop in and see Hannah, Thea and Sarah, before we headed back home, who are just THE BEST at what they do and provided excellent service. Needless to say, we got our bartaco food and drink fix; more times than I can count lol. The quality of food and drinks is still the same as I can remember all those years ago and the ambiance hasn't changed a bit. That dark wood and sexy vibe was perfect, even for dinner with friends lol. How nostalgic :) . Highly recommend for the best tacos and margaritas, IN DENVER.

Yelp
Who doesn't love bartaco?? One of my regular stops when I'm in LoHi. The must haves are below; Pork Belly taco Baja Fish taco Elote Salsa Roja Falafel taco Posole Chicken tortilla soup Key lime pie My top 8 in order. But don't confuse my ranking and deliciousness as separate. There isn't a bad thing on the menu. You cannot go wrong. You will have your own top 8 after your fifth visit. Sit at the bar and enjoy the company of either Hannah, Kiersten or Thea. And if you're in the dining room then ask for Sarah. They're literally the bees knees. And then some...

Yelp
Several years later, Bartaco is still one of my favorite casual taco spots in Denver. Street parking will always be a challenge in this neighborhood, but it's fun for both lunch and dinner. Try to sit at the bar. On this particular visit with my coworkers, it was my first time trying the lunch special, which is a great deal. I enjoy their paper and online ordering system, as well as the customer service. Everything is simple and clean. All the tacos are fantastic. Definitely make sure to grab a box of matches on your way out!!

Yelp
My husband and I met some friends for dinner recently. We were early so we ordered margs. "Service" is basically just dropping off the food because you do everything through the QR code.. the marg was very acid/like heavy but the Paloma was better. I ordered a shrimp taco and the duck taco. The shrimp was spicy and not my favorite. The duck was amazing!! My husband got the same plus a chorizo taco and he said it was a little gross..

Yelp
We came here because we had a giftcard and it was a great lunch spot. I loved the decor, I could have hung out at our booth for hours! However, we were in a hurry so it was really nice that service was fast and we were in and out within about 40 minutes. The tacos were pretty good but the atmosphere was what really stood out to me. Also, the guac and salsas were delicious!

Yelp
Nice ambiance with good food and nice service! Trendy interior, this place offers tacos, rice bowls, other plates and more! I ordered their pistachio cauliflower and roasted duck tacos, a mock tail and their plantains. Their plantains were my favorite, so delicious! Overall good experience, would come again!

Yelp
So far best Mexican I've had and that's sad to say. Granted still new but the "local" places I've been to have been underwhelming and I know this isn't authentic Mexican. I came to this spot because they were having a cocktails night on a Monday. My husband and I went and learned how to make their margaritas and we were served food from their establishment. The class was fun and well worth the price (thanks for the to go box with the supplies) and the food was AMAZING! our favorites were the duck birria quesadillas and the pork belly tacos. However, all the food was delicious. It was a fun vibe and in LoHi which is one of my favorite areas and we would come back. Great spot.

Yelp
Ugh, I hate QR code menus and even more so, using them to order my food. But whatever, it's the future. I did like that you could order a bunch of small plates and single tacos. Made it easy to sample a bit of everything. The ahi tuna and lobster salad were perfect options on a hot, summery day. My friends loved the cocktails, which looked so refreshing. Would recommend this spot if you are looking for casual, outdoor dining.

Yelp
We love this place so much! However the last time we were there we were just ignored for like 20-30 min before WE ourselves called someone over to us so we could order. Very opposite experience from we normally have. So many employees standing around not caring. Food is awesome. Drinks are awesome. But service went downhill. Bummer

Yelp
Yum yum yum!!! Some of the best tacos I ever put in my face, delicious drinks to boot that don't shy away on being assertive. Capable staff, solid vegan options - but there could always be more, IMHO. Great atmosphere and fare prices. Please try them out!

Yelp
I'm obsessed! My friend and I originally wanted to go to Bodega for lunch, but once we saw the line we decided to come here instead. First off, the environment was so cute and casual. I loved the plants the decor inside. We were seated immediately as there was no wait. Their ordering system was very easy to use and convenient. You can scan a QR code and pick what you want to order from your phone. You then choose how you want to pay and can add more to your order as needed. Our food came out pretty fast. To start, we got chips and 3 dips, all of which I really enjoyed. Then I got a variety of tacos including tuna, duck, steak, and pork belly. Most of them I really loved, but the tuna one was just okay. My favorite by far was the pork belly one. We got churros for dessert, and I was very impressed by them. The chocolate sauce wasn't that good, but whatever other sauce that came with it complimented the churros perfectly. There looked like a lot of delicious drink options, which I will probably try if I decide to get dinner here in the future. Great service, food, and environment. So glad we ended up coming here!

Yelp
Their salsa and green margarita are the stuff of dreams. I like how you can order and pay through a QR code at the table. Good for groups or families - tons of seating and a big bar!

Yelp
I LOVE bartaco. I stopped here on a whim with my friend and every single thing we tried was to die for. This is a good place to go if you like minimal contact with a server because you can order online, however when you need the assistance of a waiter they are there quickly and are very kind and helpful. It had a cute vibe and isn't too busy with decor, but what they have chosen makes it a fun and unique place! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and maybe a speciality cocktail or two!

Yelp
When you are looking for tasty tacos, fresh salsa, and delicious guac, look no further! Very beautiful space with a great bar area. The inside decor is modern/boho themed. I ordered an iced tea and received the whole carafe to refill my drink! I drink A LOT of iced tea and this was a dream! We ordered the small guac with two salsas, and the elote, which was perfect for two people. We tried almost all of the tacos. Good place to start or end if you are out and about in the Highlands. Our bar tender, Kiersten, was very nice and attentive.

Yelp
Another great Bartaco session, perhaps the best yet. Scored the happy hour timing so drinks were on the low. No food on the happy hour menu. The service here is so on point. Impressive speed and attentiveness. Always nice and professional. Seriously top notch, Especially for a causal restaurant. Started off with the street corn and Duck Birria. Both FANTASTIC. Corn was super flavorful and the perfect portion size for 2. The Duck Burria was awesome. It's more like a quesadilla with 4 small sections. Both a little messy but worth the extra napkins. My girlfriend and I each smoked 4 tacos. Ranking best to least best, all we're fantastic FYI. 1. Roasted Duck - no amount of sauce or topping can overpower the succulent flavor of the duck. My favorite now. 2. Ahi - this one comes on a leaf of lettuce instead of a tortilla. Flavor is fantastic and so light. Lettuce works perfectly. 3. Chorizo - surprisingly sooooo flavorful. Great meaty savory appeal to this one. 4. Sesame ribeye - this is usually my favorite but it wasn't as amazing as previous trips. The slaw over powered the steak taste, still worth the order though. I'm sure we had a sub-par batch this time. Drinks were awesome per usual. The green margarita is a must try. Not the cheapest option but it refreshing and appropriately boozy. I tried the Brazilian rum drink the Caipirinha. This reminded me a lot of a margarita light and a perfect pairing for some tacos. Check it out folks

Yelp
The ambience was really great when we entered and the service was different wherein you need to place a card up and they'll come assist you. For the most part you order using a QR code which simplifies the order process . The tacos however were very satisfactory. The Baja fish tacos were okay and lacked flavor. The cauliflower and falafel taco needed to be accompanied by some salsa, onions and lacked garnish. The mushroom taco was okay . The drinks were the saving Grace for our meal.

Yelp
I'm not sure why everyone seems so obsessed with this place. The tacos are so small--they're like two bites each--and they're expensive for what you get. Their salsas are also way too sweet. Not very authentic. I don't necessarily like super authentic tacos but these weren't good in general. Plus, there's virtually no service. I guess it's fine if you don't like to interact with humans, but I thought it was way too hands-off for me, especially for the price. Will not return.

Eric T.

Yelp
Compare to pic on their online menu. I was ready for the saucy pile of fish from the menu but I got catfished hard. Birria was great though. So 2 stars

Yelp
This was my first time at this Bartaco location, and I've only been to the Boulder location once about five years ago, so essentially an entirely new experience. I was really impressed! As someone that does not really like to socialize, I appreciated the option of being able to order entirely online and essentially do it without actually communicating, this also allowed us to not feel pressured and be able to do it on our own time and catch up without being regularly interrupted. We did the lunch specials and I got the chili lime shrimp taco, seared chorizo taco, spiced chicken verde taco and the chicken tortilla soup. I honestly can't remember what my friend got, but we both loved every bite we had!

Yelp
Now I remember why I haven't come back to this place in a very long time. I really do not like the ordering system. You have to download the app. Then add your cc info and then order through your phone. I'm not coming to a restaurant to spend half my time there on my phone figuring out the ordering system and then adding other people in my party so they can order on my ticket. I want to sit down, be greeted by our server and place my order with a person and pay the person helping me so I can spend my time engaging with my company. Not my phone. The food did come out very fast but the quality and taste of the food was not good enough for any of us to be impressed enough to come back. The vibe is very cool and I'm sure plenty of people like coming here but I'm old school. I want to put technology away for my meals and enjoy a meal talking.
google avatar

Yelp
I like that we can order food easily as we want more rather than ordering everything up front. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Listen, I know what good tacos are. I'm from Texas and my parents are Hispanic. This place blew my mind, that it makes me mad LOL My ancestors are really crying. The elotes were flavorful. The tacos (pork belly and shrimp are INSANELY GOOD) And i got the sesame ribeye rice bowl.. fingerlicking good!!! We had margs and a tequila pineapple (Espolon tequila) and it was strong while still being able to taste the pineapple and marg mix. We devoured the food before realizing we hadn't taken any pictures whatsoever BUT here's a picture of our drinks! Highly recommend! I swear there's a Hispanic uncle i. The kitchen fucking it up!!

Yelp
I stopped by Bartaco after finding out the wait at Postino was going to be 90 minutes. There was no wait and we were immediately seated at Bartaco. The hostess gave us the rundown and we were off to the races. The online ordering system was a little tricky to get set up to be honest. We spent about ten minutes just getting the QR code and verification code to work, which was frustrating. It was also very loud in the restaurant due to the music, so a little hectic right off the bat. The food however was really good! I recommend ordering kids guac if you don't like spice because it was a bit spicy! We both got spring caipirinhas which were light and refreshing for drinks. The drinks are pretty pricey for the size I will say. The tacos were about the size I expected. The hostesses recommended three each, which is about where we landed. I loved the pork belly and the sesame ribeye. The tuna was good, but definitely could benefit from a sauce on the side for dipping. The roasted pork was very tangy and mustardy which wasn't unexpected, but not the fave at the table. The sesame beef won our hearts, especially with some avocado in lieu of kimchi on one. For dessert, we tried the churros which were lovely. They were crispy and warm! They're definitely a good thing to try it you have a bit of a sweet tooth! Everything was so speedy too! I love fast, good service!

Yelp
Bartaco offers innovative takes on simple tacos. The tuna tatako was the best item I had. Wrapped in lettuce with a sesame soy sauce and seared as it like it. Everyone ordered it after I ate because it was that good. Our table had a variety of tacos and beside the tuna the next favorite was he seasame rib eye. The steak was perfectly cooked. It's an inconventional service methodology with no severs. You order online but our table had a lot of people and they were flexible to allows us to order sushi style with a checklist. Overall a great place for reimagining the taco.
google avatar

Mary F.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. Pork belly rice bowl, guacamole, chips and salsa, plantains, duck taco, tuna tatako, seared chorizo, sesame ribeye, and street corn. The corn was okay, the pork belly bowl was actually pretty good and for the price. The guac tasted like straight lemon, the verde salsa also tasted like lemon, and the roja salsa was just gross. $3 for a taco is about right but $4 wasnt worth it. Lastly - 4-5 tostadas for salsa and guac is crazy, but it's even crazier that they gave tostadas as "chips."
google avatar

Yelp
Yet another trendy restaurant that drains bank accounts and tastebuds alike. The cabana ambiance was clean, friendly, and inviting, encouraging friendly socialization amongst patrons. The well-decorated restaurant is staffed by friendly and attentive staff, ready to help with any need. The restaurant is driven by technology, as the menu is accessible online through a QR code, and customers are encouraged to order through the phone as well. This process of ordering over the phone was confusing, frustrating, and time-consuming. We had extreme difficulty getting the process to work, but eventually prevailed. I would much rather have waiters tend to our needs. The assorted tacos were divine in taste! All the food ordered was great, including the margaritas. The only thing I didn't love was the price. The chips, salsa, guac, and margaritas were expensive and overpriced for their quality. For two people, we spent over $100; we loved every second but felt betrayed by the bill. Overall, divine food, with some hurdles that will bring you to heaven at a steep cost.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Everything we tasted had incredible flavor. We tried 7 tacos, our favorite was the glazed pork belly (sweet with pickled onions), sesame ribeye (Asian fusion), and mushroom (kinda spicy!) Salsa roja was incredible!!! The drinks were SO YUMMY and freshly squeezed juice, it's like a whole experience!!! Favorite Mexican place, this was 10/10 The vibe was on point, the lights were so cute! And the bar is beautiful. Thea was our bartender and she couldn't be sweeter! She explained everything to us and are sure we understood the process. Communication was incredible and we really appreciated it!

Yelp
Bartaco is the perfect spot for casual dining, and is conveniently open later than most restaurants in the area. The staff is personable and makes you feel comfortable, ready to answer any questions you may have. We ordered a total of 9 tacos for 3 people, and still felt a little hungry so we ended up getting the street corn as well. Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience. Definitely check this place out!
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
The food just didn't do it for me here. I love all kinds of tacos- fancy and non- but these all fell flat for me. I give 3 stars because I thought the duck birria was good and the space is beautiful. We also tried the fish taco, pork belly, and sesame beef. Of the 3, the beef was probably my favorite, but still not great. Skimpy fillings and the filling that was there was just ok. We also ordered chips and salsa and went with the red. Also not that great. We tried all of the 3 house made hot sauces and none stood out. The habanero was probably my favorite, but none of them popped. I always enjoy trying new taco places but we won't return here.

Yelp
Hey bartaco we loooove your restaurant. We stopped by last week for the first time and were huge fans of the ordering format and loved your margaritas and tacos. So we came back again this week and had a second amazing time. Look people, if you don't want to order on your phone, you don't have to. Just say so. ??? Both times we went the server explained the process and asked if we were okay with it, and even with the QR code format we were still checked on several times. This place is awesome. Really the forefront of modern dining. Sometimes you just want to slam some margaritas (they have one with green juice so you can keep up w your vitamins, that's my favorite) and tacos and you don't want to wait for someone or talk to them . Yeah that's usually me. Everyone here is nice and I love them. But I love them from a distance because I just click the button and boom it arrives so fast it's amazing, I don't ever have to talk too much. And for me the reasons I dine out most of the time are 1) good food that I didn't have to cook and 2) no dishes in my sink. Both bases covered here!!!! I don't care if a person waits on me or not. In fact as you may have gathered, my sentiment is that this can often be a downside especially when a restaurant is understaffed or the person has a bad vibe. Also!!!!! Going to restaurants as a group, espeicallt with unclear social dynamics, can be a nightmare when it is time to pay the bill. Oh god who's gonna get it, are we going to make them divide it up? Someone going to pay and do Venmo and pass around the receipt? I'll cry you a river every time that happens to me, yeah really I will because I hate that moment. I will bring every single socially unclear group here because that issue is completely eliminated. Get whatever you want when you want and don't worry about if Bob said he'd cover it so should you add on the extra lobster or is that rude since he's paying???? Bartaco is here for you if you want to live it up or if you want to save some money and just be responsible for yourself. The food is awesome, the drinks are awesome and fresh squeezed juice so they're all skinny by default. I'm against diet culture but tbh I always get the skinny margarita and now they got it with that green juice, perfect. Thank you. Will be back probably at least 50 more times i'm not exaggerating. Xoooooxooooxoxoxoo Frankie

Yelp
Bougie taco alert. Highly recommend their glazed pork belly taco, mushroom taco, and tuna tatako along with some of their esquite. (Ate my food too fast and forgot to take photos this time) The service is interesting here because you order on your phone but have a server available as needed too. The restaurant and bar area are very cute, and I'd definitely return for more tacos.

Yelp
Amazing selection and love that you can get so many individual tacos to try multiple! The drinks were great! Can't recommend enough

Yelp
Visited Bartaco during their dinner rush but only had to wait around 10-15 minutes. They use a new concept where there are two hosts going around tables helping you order using your own phone, loaded up on an app where you have a tab for constant food or drinks. Food started to arrive in pieces and we treated it as tapas and shared everything from the following: Chips and salsa - pieces of round hard shell tortilla chips and salsa. Untraditional yet traditional. It was delicious and the salsas/ hot sauces they have were great. Duck Birria: Very flavorful, crunchy, and fun to eat. Definitely a winner in our book for a nice appetizer. Got some tacos not pictured which are smaller and easy to devour. If they were your only entree I would select 3-4 of them. The Pork Belly bowl .. oh wow this bowl was so heavily. It was packed with crunchy, fatty, savory and sweet flavors I would come back to get this on takeout everyday of the week. The churros were just a great way to end the meal and absolutely fresh and melt in your mouth. To share- we also had the nonalcoholic mint tea (I think) and it was a large portion and perfect to refresh after every food option you have. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Me and my friend had an unexpected lunch stop at Bartaco before I took her to the airport and let me tell you, that was a great last impression of her Denver visit. Tacos are great, my vegetarian friend also had a couple of her own favorite. I am a freak when it comes to the aesthetic décor and this place had a perfect combination of style and coziness! They do have an interesting ordering experience that I've never had before, I loved it. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful. Will be back soon (hopefully)

Yelp
Be prepared to wait if you're heading here without a reservation on a busy evening, say Friday night! We typically don't go out on Friday nights for this exact reason. Got a table in about 45 mins and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The ambience here is very nice - plants and lot of wicker lights! Love it. You scan the bar code and place an order online - I even customised my drink and was surprised that they actually paid attention. For drinks we got the reviver and old thymer, I asked for the reviver to be spicy and muddled with some jalapeños and I was so glad they did that for me. Their fried plantains were so great! My fav tacos were the lamb kofta, chicken verde and pork belly. Our server was very sweet making sure we were comfortable with their ordering process. I definitely recommend the food here :)

Yelp
It's been at least a couple of months for me to grace the door of this awesome spot. First off FAST SERVICE. The wait was so minimal that it was not even a wait! The manager on duty was so graceful and on and very aware of his customers! I love him! The staff were equally top notch! I forgot his name:( The food was tasty! We had the Plantains( I love plantains), Salsa Roja with some chips. I had some Rice Bowls. Sesame Ribeye was so memorable! So simple and tasty. Veggies mixed in with brown rice. Say no more! Also to go was their Glazed Pork Belly Bowl. Wow! House Margs , and two orders of their churros! Of course can't skip tacos. We ordered the Ribeye, glazed pork tacos and the third one skipped my mind :( but really good! It was a very satisfying visit and we will be back!

Yelp
Tuesday, yesterday, any day.. - a lively, warm venue with a quick, delicious menu, smart cocktails, and a fun, personable staff - get on the waitlist and ask for Jesse. You'll make the movie, and it'll make your night. 10/10

Yelp
Ran into this busy eatery randomly today and was very pleasantly surprised. They have a great lunch special that serves 3 tacos and a side salad for $13. And they offer happy hour daily. The ambiance here was perfection, the staff was super friendly and the food was great! They have 3 house hot sauces we liked them all but I thought the habanero option was a little too spicy for me. I tried the Duck Birria, Mushroom taco, Chicken taco, Baja Fish taco, and a side salad. The Duck Birria was my favorite choice. And I drank the grapefruit ginger agua fresca which was so refreshing! Over all great experience and amazing service. Will come back for more next time I'm in Denver!

Yelp
After a wonderful dinner celebrating my friend's engagement, we decided to meet up with some other friends in the Highlands area for a couple more drinks before calling it a night. After realizing our first choice had a waitlist of more than an hour, we ventured a bit further and found ourselves at Bartaco for our next round. PROs: ++ The ambiance here is awesome! I really love the variety of spaces throughout that offer comfortable seating for any type and size of group. ++ They have a great system in place for ordering. You scan the QR code on the table and are directed to a website where you place your order, put a card on file, you add to it throughout the evening, and close out when you're done - how easy is that?! ++ The menu does feature some mock-tails on the menu for those that may not be imbibing during your visit. Nice! ++ A friend ordered some delicious looking street tacos that he enjoyed so much he ordered a second round. Mmm... CONs: -- When we arrived and let the host know that we had a group of 10 people, his response was, "cool story." Who says that to a guest? It just came off indifferent and kinda rude. -- I decided that I was really feeling a spicy margarita. Well, their version of spicy means throwing some jalapeño in it. Can't you at least muddle it, or use an infused tequila, heck even rim the glass with Tajin? Bummer. -- The above-mentioned tacos were tiny. Like really tiny. At $3-$4 a taco you'd think they'd be the size of a traditional street taco at least! Nope, they use a 4-inch tortilla. All in all, Bartaco was alright. I had higher hopes for our experience, but the pros and cons really canceled each other out.

Yelp
So much about this place I wanted to love and my experience was subpar, unfortunately. Service: I feel like this is where it went downhill from the moment I sat down. The waitress was short with me and very annoyed that I didn't understand their order/tab system. (They make you scan the QR, put in your personal info, then put in your credit card payment before you can even see the menu.) I knew from online they did paper card and pencil orders (think sushi bar style). I asked the waitress to just do paper for me please, she was visibly annoyed with me. Again, I refused a drink and only got water and she was visibly displeased. It was just an awkward encounter. Food: the tacos were actually really tasty. I had the chorizo and the fish taco. But be warned, they're a tapas style taco, not a meal taco. I was expecting a small corn tortilla taco, but these were almost mini style. I was super disappointed and would have ordered more had the service been a little more welcoming. Ambiance: I love the atmosphere, the music, the whole vibe of this place. They have big windows that open and the mix of fresh air and being inside surrounded by the plants there was really nice. Would be a cute spot for a casual date night.

Yelp
Food is great, service is great, ambiance is great. I had the baja fish, pork belly, ribeye, and duck tacos and all of them were AMAZING. Also ordered one of the non-alcoholic agua frescas, and I felt like I was drinking a fancy cocktail. Definitely coming back for the bowls and to try all the other tacos! Also Hayley is a great bartender!!!!

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening to treat myself out after a long work week. The place was packed and I managed to find a spot at the bar. I had two mojitos because the bar tender who made them were super delicious. I ordered some chips with salsa and the salsa was very tasty. I saved the salsa to use it on my tacos. I was really hungry and I ordered some fish and pork belly tacos. The fish tacos were ok but the pork belly tacos were the best. I had one fish and 3 pork belly tacos. Lol I know, that's a lot for a little woman like me but I was real hungry this evening and I felt perfectly full and not over stuffed. I really like this place. I most definitely will be a customer here. I'll try more tacos and take more pictures too. Until next time.

Yelp
The vibe, the tacos, and the Margs are all in point! If your looking for a great date night or a girls night out (which is what I was here for) this is your place!!! Margarita is salt went down a little too smoothly and two put me in a great place! ;) Started with a meh with salt and the salads trio. All were a perfect way to start off the meal. The tacos - Pork Belly (must have), fish (delicious), steak (#1) and mushroom (surprisingly spiciest of all). The manager was amazing. He was working the room, taking care of guests and let me sit for quite some time before my husband even showed up. I may have ahead a few margaritas in the meantime :) Tacos are small so order accordingly but man they are sooooo flavorful! Had take out from here before but so much better to consume in the establishment. The vibe is great and fills up fas

Yelp
Visiting Denver for the first time, normally I have a long list of bars & restaurants to visit. This one was happenstance because we were bar hopping and exploring this neighborhood when we decided to stop in for a(nother) snack! Right away, we were greeted with warm invites to have a seat. While this is a chain, it certainly didn't feel like it in the best ways. Our server was awesome: helpful, honest and direct with his feedback as he masterfully guided us through the menu. From him we learned that bartaco makes their own in-house tequila, they slow age their pork belly for a whiiiile, and they offer fresh juices in all the cocktails. With this in mind, we ordered: 1) Reviver Cocktail: hayman's gin + cucumber + mint + mango nectar + lime juice. This was 5/5, so delicious and refreshing!! 2) Old Thymer Cocktail: four roses bourbon + cocchi torino vermouth + thyme + lemon + orange + angostura bitters. My dude said this was slightly watered down but still 4/5 3) Roasted Duck Taco: 5/5, so unique! 4) Baja Fish Taco: 5/5 (Spicy tempura-battered cod w/ chipotle slaw) 5) Spiced Chicken Verde Taco: 4/5 6) Glazed Pork Belly Taco: 5/5 The ambiance was super chill and relaxed, and made for a fun day drinking venue! The only thing that could have gone better is we asked for no onions all around and one of them had onion, so I couldn't enjoy that one. Other than that, I just wish a location would open in Seattle!

Yelp
Bartaco has a super cute atmosphere. You place your order online and they bring the tacos to your table--a seamless experience. The tacos are pretty small so make sure you order enough. There are a variety of taco options--a little bit of everything! Fun spot to go for happy hour!

Yelp
I don't have too much to say about this place because I have a few at home and I already love the food. The service was great and my server was really friendly and attentive. The guacamole was tasty as always, it just needed another squeeze of lime juice, which I never mind adding. The fish in the baja fish tacos was perfectly fried and they were decent sized pieces.

Yelp
So yummy and so cute!! The cocktails and tacos were phenomenal. I'd recommend the duck and pork belly tacos and a spicy marg! I also love the convenience of ordering and paying from your phone.
