First time here and they’ve already gained a loyal and repeat customer! AMAZING 🤩 service and even more fabulous fresh delicious eats! Ordered a few things and I devoured to the last bite + from an unsweet tea lover they fresh brew a whole carafe, and it was best ever. 🤤 THE only place to go for tacos in the area 1,000 percent. I also noticed they had a great happening happy hour. The ambience was great. The music was fantastic. No wonder it’s so popular. My server Isabella was even dressed up with the cutest little holiday decor and extremely attentive. Don’t skip!

What cheery and welcoming restaurant. Server Payton and Manager Heather were especially wonderful! Fresh and carefully prepared cocktails and food. Tuna poke and duck taco were standouts. Everything was just splendid. I recommend arriving early as it got busy quickly. Will definitely be back!

Used to frequent bar taco in Tampa, first time trying in Miami so I decided to try the ceviche with shrimp/cod. Liked it a lot. It was slow and empty when I arrived (had to pretty much seat myself since no one was at the front). Ordered their lunch special with 3 tacos (fish, chorizo, & mushroom) with the taco soup. Didn’t count how long I waited however, my food was lukewarm at best. Even though I started with the soup first, I expected some type of warmth. For an “upscale” taco place, I’d expect the food to be a bit warmer than that since I’m assuming food is already prepped and just needs to be assembled. Besides that the bartender was cool. Tampa location didn’t disappoint like this…

I went on a friday night and despite how busy it was, the service was amazing! The food came quickly and was so good, and same with the drinks. I sat at the bar with a friend and we had a great time and definitely plan on coming back. Angel and Lealle were both great and we will look forward to seeing them again.

Was looking for a cute restaurant that had some good food and stumble upon this gem. I found it by all the amazing reviews and decided to try it out. Staff was extremely friend and helpful. We got the appetizer platter to start for entrees we tried a couple of their tacos but the tacos that stood out the most were the pork belly tacos and the shrimp and steak special they have for the summer. Every taco was very taste, unique and cooked with its own spin. If you have a chance to stop by, definitely check this place out.

Our new go to Saturday lunch spot after he loving it for lunch during the week prior that. Great vibe, great bar, great food (yummy crispy pork belly tacos), and great drinks with fresh fruits. Sangria ROCKS!

It was a walk in bar with security. It was very modern inside, and had nice big window cutouts to feel the breeze at night. The tacos were great and even better priced for being that good. Mg favorite was the pork belly tacos.

Had a beautiful time with my best friends!! Amazing environment and super sweet bartenders. The manager Angel and the bartender John truly made our experience unforgettable. Will come back for sure!

Amazing service! First time coming here and truly loved the atmosphere. Got the shrimp tacos and they can substitute the tortilla with lettuce wraps. Angel, the manager, was a sweetheart. Came to check in on us to ensure we were having a good time and was able to share some insights on different cocktails. We ended up going with three shots and it was delicious! 10/10 experience

Bartaco in the Grove consistently delivers incredible customer service. Michael and Blue, in particular, have been exceptional from day one. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality are a big part of why I keep coming back--along with their amazing food, of course. my go to every single week.

Went to eat there last night, my server Maria was incredibly attentive ! she recommended the pork belly tacos , they were to die for. I was so happy with my experience , Maria made sure to guide me through the menu as well as making sure my drink was always full ! Definitely will be back !!!

Bar Taco has quickly become a staple in my life. It's always at the top of my list when I want a great spot, whether I'm meeting friends for lunch or dinner, planning on having a dining work meeting /work session, or setting up for an amazing dinner and drinks that turn into a fun night out. I've even worked from my laptop here over lunch, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. The food is consistently delicious and, while it might not be the place to go to when expecting an authentic Mexican taco place, the tacos are elevated in such a unique way that every bite feels special. From the perfectly sized tacos to the guac, plantains, and esquites, everything I've tried has blown me away. The drinks are fantastic, and the bar staff offers some of the best service I've experienced in Miami. What truly impresses me is the affordability compared to the high-quality food and the well-curated experience. I would recommend Bar Taco to anyone looking for a solid, delicious meal and a fun atmosphere; or even anyone looking for a new place to become usuals at. Ps: They have by far my favorite happy hour in the city. The happy hour bites are delicious and the price is absolutely unbeatable.

The green juice margarita was probably the best thing we had. Mushroom taco is great, cauliflower taco is pretty flavorless. The waiter was terrible. Way too interested in having a conversation and flirting instead of taking our order or bringing us anything we asked for. I understand being friendly and fun but we asked for things up to three times. I asked for more water and never got it. Food and drinks were extremely slow to come out which is crazy because they're tacos and the place was not packed at all. The space is gorgeous!

Inconsistent experience. We first went on a Monday night and waited two hours for a table for six, even though we'd been added to the waitlist 30 minutes before arriving. They couldn't give us an estimated wait time, which was odd, so we sat at the bar. By the time they told us our table was ready, we were already on dessert. They offered a gift card to make it up to us, but our return visit wasn't much better. Service was slow and disorganized -- we had to follow up multiple times, and our waitress didn't seem to take ownership of our order. My date's tacos came out quickly, but mine arrived 20 minutes later, we also had to follow up on the kimchi and one extra taco we ordered never showed up. Even the margaritas were inconsistent -- one was way too strong, the next had no alcohol at all. They had to take one back because they didn't make it spicy like we ordered. The duck birria is the standout dish, and the guac is solid, but overall the experience is just okay. With all the standout taco spots in the grove, I won't be back again at Bartaco again.

Best Margarita in Miami! Wow! Love the family friendly walk as you are vibe! We saw kids entering the patio with their bikes and playing cornhole. The bar has a good mix of corporate and locals just enjoying the HH on a Wednesday. The service was good too. The duck quesadillas were a bit more spicy than I can handle and they made them again - ahmazin!!! The key lime pie in a cup is a must as well. Love coming here and wish I lived close by to make it a weekly spot.

We love the food here. Service is great. We ordered the churros for our party of 5 and only 4 came out but our manager Maria came out and brought us not only another batch of churros but a round of shots on the house due to the inconvenience. We love this place and will always come back!

This was our first time here ar bartaco. When we first came in, we were greeted by Heather. She was so welcoming and sweet! When we sit down our waiter was Clark ( i think that was his name)and made some great recommendations The passion fruit oaxacan margarita was amazing. I had the duck taco, shimp taco and ribyeye tacos. My friend truly enjoyed the ribyeye and I enjoyed the duck taco. The tacos are small, but I was getting full with the two that I ordered. I also eat the chips and guacamole. And for dessert, we had homemade churros, they were freshly made and delicious. This restaurant is so beautiful, with lots of plants and high ceilings. My friend and I definitely found our new favorite spot and can't wait to come back to check the happy hour and night look.

I attended a Yelp event at Bartaco and the ambiance was great, such a fun, vibrant atmosphere and the location itself has a really nice vibe. The event started off strong, but unfortunately the drinks and bites ran out well before the event ended, which was disappointing. It definitely took away from the experience, especially since the food and cocktails are usually such a highlight here.

Bartaco is a beautiful and fun edition to the grove! The space is great, with 2 floors and multiple bars, plus a large balcony to hang out on and have drinks. There is a DJ at night and it is always very lively and fun. The food is very average but well priced with lots of options. It was very busy when I was there on a Saturday afternoon so the service was a bit slow, however the staff was so kind and you could tell it was only because it was so busy. I'd totally come back to Bartaco, specifically for the atmosphere and a few drinks in this fun and lovely spot!

HANDS DOWN ALWAYS AND FOREVER A STAN OF BAR TACO! It really doesn't matter the location as all are V consistent! Miami Coconut Grove location, specifically for this review, had some of the friendliest staff I've experienced. Got caught in a rain storm and camped at the bar for a few hours. Floor manager/bartender were warm and open to conversation. When I visited again later in the week, the server on the floor was bubbly and didn't crowd the table. Pretty empty both times, so food came out in a decent amount of time and the food was fresh. Ceviche was a hit!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Please go and order yourself a taco - or two or three. Every bite is packed with flavor. My favorite is the pork belly taco - I liked it so much, I ordered a second one. Speaking of ordering, you order off of your phone, and the tacos quickly come out to your table. I mean, it can't get any better than this. Their cocktails are delicious, too. I had the orange crush which felt like an elevated but nostalgic screwdriver. Lastly, the sun window makes you feel like you're dining out doors but you get to beat the heat - perfect for summers in Miami!

Def recommend! The restaurant is so cute and the food is even better! Margaritas are my thing and trust me, you won't be disappointed! Everything was delish from the fresh but mildly spicy ceviche, the elote, to the fish tacos! Yum! I didn't really love the fried plantains with the cilantro sauce I believe? This was my 2nd time at bartaco in one week, first at another location and then during a staycation in the grove. The restaurant was lively on a Thursday night with open air seating and large bar with upstairs area as well. I grabbed a seat at the bar, the servers were immediately responsive and friendly, as well as had suggestions. I ordered cucumber salad and chicken and shrimp tacos. I preferred the chicken over the shrimp tacos. Also, love the cucumber salad- so refreshing! I also ordered from juice menu but added alcohol- the drinks were well crafted and the juice is fresh! This place is a great addition to coconut grove and definitely a great spot to grab a seat at the bar or for happy hour!

My friends and I went to Bartaco for some fun happy hour vibes and let me tell you, the vibes were definitely met. Our drinks were quite delicious and refreshing and reminded me of a green smoothie. The appetizer bites were also super inexpensive for happy hour and quite yummy. I tried the flautas and the tuna crispy rice and they were the perfect bite sized amounts to keep me content until dinner a few hours later. Overall, it was super busy and there was fun music playing, further emphasizing how fun of a spot this is. I was very impressed with how quick and kind the bartender was especially with how hectic it was.

Bartaco is a happy hour staple. Their crispy tuna rice is my fav and it's the perfect snack for your 5 pm spicy marg. Highly recommend!!

The food was exceptional. They had an outdoor seating area that I love that was very quaint. Will definitely go back. I had a Vegetable Burger delicious!!! And the Truffle fries!!!!!

Stopped by Bartaco on the way back from the Farmer's Market for a cold drink. The place is GORGEOUS! Can't believe I haven't been here before! We sat at the bar and each ordered a cocktail which we could see was being made with fresh squeezed juice and natural ingredients, YAY!!! No sour-mix here. It was super packed, lively and fun! The cocktails were great & bartender was lovely. Will definitely be back to eat here.

The food is well priced. It has a nice atmosphere and very friendly service. The pork belly taco and the Baja fish are my personal favorites. The entre platter is a great choice for a larger party, I enjoyed the plantains with the sauce and the esquites. The sauces overall are pretty good and they go great with the tacos.

Liked it! Party of 4. After attending a poetry show at Books and Books we decided to get dinner here. Food was good. I had the pork belly tacos, although cooked a tad bit to crispy for my liking, they tasted really good. My friends had the carnital tacos, chicken tacos, cauliflower taco and cucumber salad and were pleased. We liked the music! Made for a festive atmosphere. We weren't to happy with our server. Although she was pleasant we felt like we were bothering her-wasn't attentive at all. All in all it was good!

Very family friendly ! The staff is incredible our waiter Jonathan was on top of everything ! The kids tray with taco, quesadilla , fruit and corn is perfect for a small child ! My brother loved the pork tamale with the salsa verde ! My favorite taco was the Baja fish ! Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back ! I'm glad we found this place on a nice Sunday's afternoon with the kids !

So the way this place works is that you order online while sitting at your table and then food runners bring the food out to you as it's ready. First time ever experiencing this time of service and I must say it worked perfectly - service was quick, efficient, and our orders were all right cause you cut out the middle man who might punch your order in wrong! The space itself is beautiful, spacious with great lighting. Furniture reminds me of the 80s and had a total Miami vibe. Food was delicious! We tried an array of tacos and they were all packed with flavor. The pork belly was our favorite - don't miss it!

Yet another great lunch at Bartaco. I tell you, they really know what they're doing. Everything was fresh and tasty, from the tacos, the trio chips and salsas, the guac, the esquites sweet corn kernels, and some of the best black beans with sofrito I've had in a while.

Very beautiful environment! Came in for happy hour and it was not so happy. Prices are about 10 cents to 50 cents less then the regular menu. Very misleading they shouldn't have a happy hour at all. Nonetheless we had some cocktails and that was still tasty and fresh!!

Meh. The drinks are amazing - esp the reposado and their version of plantains were good. The tacos were not good. This is not authentic at all, starting with the tortillas that are used for the tacos, thin and flavorless. Not fresh and the types of tacos are definitely a fusion that is for a less sophisticated palette when it comes to tacos and I say this bc taco trucks don't miss and are not fancy or fusion. Please maintain the essence of the cuisine.Also the bartenders gave the best service. The hosts needs extensive training- they can't herd people or move people along while others are waiting. This is your function as well and your location isn't big- do better

Tacos are fire! Trying their sweet plantains felt like a trip down memory lane -- it brought me right back to my childhood. The ambience is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely have to try the passion fruit margarita, it's phenomenal! Great vibe, great food! 10/10

The food here is SO fresh! The drinks are unique and strong! The geeen margarita was the healthiest marg I've ever had. The tuna poke is just wow! The tacos are so fun and unique. I loved the corn too. The service here is impeccable and so is the management. 10/10 for attention to detail! Our server Sophia was great, she took great care of Us! Perfect spot in The Grove for a bite to eat and a drink. Tacos are on the smaller side, so if you are very hungry I would recommend 4/5 of them. Both the fish and pork belly tacos were delicious, can't complain. The cucumber side was a little lacking, very fresh, but needed a bit more flavor. Not pictured is the green margarita that is a Bartaco staple, probably the best drink on their menu. Vibes are always great, and I love the backyard seating area.

This place was absolutely packed for a Sunday! We love the service and food and atmosphere. It's very chill but the perfect go to place for any occasion. Whether it's a chill snack or a date night spot. I haven't had a single item that I didn't love.

I went back recently because I only tried the drinks the first time. The tacos were great! Loved that you can order them single so you can try a bunch and you don't have to have rice and beans with it because seriously u just want the tacos! Our waiter Kevin was great and super friendly. It is a bit loud on weekends and pretty packed so try and make a reservation. We had an hour wait. And lastly, ladies if you need a little boost in confidence go to the bathroom outside in the back. I need that mirror at home! lol

Came here after going to Bodega and it was packed. We were able to find seats at the bar and order a few things. I like how they have a menu where you can order that way because it is LOUD. Its almost like dimsum style where you can write the number of tacos you wanted. To start we got the guac and chips and it was fresh. Didn't have a lot of seasoning to it. I like a lot of lime which you can ask for more on the side. I got the duck birria and the lettuce lobster taco. The duck birria was pretty good didn't taste a lot of the duck and I felt like it was a little oily. The lobster lettuce was unique for a low carb option but it was way too much mayo. It was leaking out of the lettuce, not cute. Otherwise good vibes and drinks. Super affordable with good food.

Love Bartaco! This place has the best margaritas and tasty food to go with it. All of the tacos are great- you can't go wrong. The standouts are the sesame ribeye, fish, cauliflower, and pork belly. The guac, salsa, and chips are a great addition too. It's a limited menu so you know that everything they do is good. Service here is always friendly and quick too. This is our go to spot when in the mood for tacos and margaritas. I also love sitting at the bar window seat that looks onto the street.

If I can give half ratings it would be a 4.5/5! The service here was phenomenal! Our server Jay was very kind and attentive. The manager even visited us and provided us complimentary glazed pork belly tacos, because he stated that we MUST try them. They were absolutely delicious. You can order via a QR code and pay through your phone. Although, you can also order the old school way. It is such a convenient experience. Every server passed by our table to check in on us. The ambiance is very welcoming and calm. I loved the high tables we were sat at, very comfy. I started off with a mock tail called purple haze which was like a purple lemonade. As an appetizer we had the elote and the chips with salsa roja, this salsa was spiced to perfection. As an entree, I had about 5 tacos! They were all delicious honestly. From greatest to great, I would rate them as follows; Baja, Crispy Shrimp , Pork Belly , Spiced Chicken Verde , warm buttered lobster! I really did not love the pistachio cauliflower taco, the chickpea hummus was not doing it for me. I would've also enjoyed a pomegranate sauce instead of pomegranate seeds in the taco. Overall, I highly recommend that you check this spot out!! You will genuinely enjoy it. Good quality food without a long wait.

Amazing Margaritas!! Fresh limes no mixers amazing. Saw a woman squeeze two huge tubs of limes for lime juice and just kept going as she finished more came to her. Food was great waitress was very attentive big place fun for a group day drinking or date night. Highly recommend

I've been to Bartaco a few times and each time has been excellent. They have a great happy hour and lunch menu. For happy hour, each drink is made to order with fresh juices. I will say if you're with a big group each drink does take a while to made because everything is juiced on the spot, so keep that in mind for wait times. For lunch, they have a lunch menu where you can get tacos and a soup or salad. The tacos I had were so good. I went back for dinner another night and ordered the same tacos again.

First the element! Its inviting, clean, modern and open. The music brings the vibe and makes the drinks taste better lime juicer at the bar thats a great sign! Both the food and drinks tasted super fresh. The staff was welcoming from the start. The hostess noticed I was cold and claimed to have the perfect spot for me, she did! And the waitress was super helpful when she learned it was our first visit. Overall great experience and I recommend it!

Michael and sky made our day memorable! I was blown away by the hospitality and the service and just the energy they gave. We come here often because we love the vibe. It's very family friendly. The food is excellent and it's just a fun afternoon on the weekend with kids. I highly highly recommend!!

What can I say or taco bout this place. I first learned about bar taco on a business trip and it has been a staple every location I go it just get better and better. The one in the grove is amazing located and has an awesome atmosphere! It's always busy and the service I'd amazing whether you decide to eat at a booth, visit the upstairs or downstairs at the bar, everyone is always great and the food quality is always on point. My go to meal is the duck bowl with a side of sweet plantains and to help wash that down a mezal margarita. Overall great place, people and food.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of this place -- it was super aesthetic and welcoming. It's a great spot for a girls' night out or even to get some remote work done. The service was friendly and fast; our food came out in about 15 minutes, which was impressive. The food itself was delicious, but I do want to note that the bowls were very spicy. I had mine with a salad base instead of rice, which may have intensified the spice level, but it was a bit too much for me. There was no heads-up about the spice level, and I wish the server had mentioned it. That said, he seemed new, so I understand. They were kind enough to offer me a replacement bowl, which I appreciated. Overall, I'd definitely go back -- just with these things in mind for next time!

Amazing find in the heart of Coconut Grove. Beautiful and interesting interior design with different areas to sit in. Downstairs dining and bar with bar seats looking out on the street. Upstairs seating with another bar area and balcony overlooking the street as well as an outside patio. Lush plantings and paintings of plants makes you feel your on a tropical island retreat. Food did not disappoint either. Nice selection and beverages offered, def not just tacos although the tacos we tried were delicious and well priced. I was happy to see all the vegetarian and vegan options that will give me more incentive to return to try out. Our bartender was also super knowledgeable and helpful with all our food allergy issues.

Such a cute spot. Loved sitting at the window and people watching, but you don't get food or drink service. You have to go to the bar to order, and that's annoying. The dirty martini was good and refreshing, though extremely salty. The tacos were below average. I ordered the chili lime shrimp which came with three tiny cold shrimp, and the chicken taco was tasty, but cold and small. The duck birria on the other hand was pretty good! But generally, I wouldn't go back for the food.

Such a cool concept, especially if you want to try different things without breaking the bank. When you first sit down, a server comes by and explains the concept. You order and pay from your phone and if you need any assistance or anything from a server, you set a bartaco card up on a stand that signals to them that you need something. I loved this concept because it really is just you and your company enjoying a meal almost privately. Also! You can choose to pay immediately or after you're done eating. They have a great variety of options to choose from. Different tacos, different bowls, different appetizers. The tacos are almost palm sized which makes you want to try different flavors and different things! I got the vegan cauliflower taco, the pork belly taco, and the chorizo taco. Had I not eaten before coming here, I would've definitely gotten more. They were soo good!!! We had some churros and tres leches and they were fantastic. The decor is really nice and the skylight is gorgeous. I wanted upstairs seating but they don't open that area until 6/6:30 Barteco, you will see me again!

Went to Bartaco with a group of six and had an awesome time! We tried a variety of tacos -- al pastor, Baja fish, duck, lobster, and steak -- all were fresh and flavorful. We also had the pisco sour, watermelon margarita, cazuela, and the Clase Azul flight -- great drink options all around. Their ordering system is super convenient -- you just scan the menu and open your own tab on your phone, which made splitting the bill with a big group really easy. The prices were affordable, there was a DJ spinning, and the overall vibe was fun and relaxed. Super cute spot -- I'll definitely be back!

Possibly the best salsa and guacamole I've ever had? Wow, did I just say that? Bartaco has got it going on. It's certainly a high-energy environment packed with people, loud music, and tasty food. Not only is the service top-notch, but they've made ordering food and beverage quite innovative yet simple. Luckily, the bar is constantly turning over customers so if you're a little patient, chances are you'll be able to find a seat there with no problem. As for a table, you'll definitely want to look into reservations. What I really like is how the staff explains how it all works to you--and there's nothing I appreciate more than someone managing my expectations and taking the guesswork out of a dining experience which, after all, should be relaxed and enjoyable. They have a paper and pencil system where you can mark what you want and much you want on their menu. Should you need anything else before a server gets to you (which doesn't happen often, as they are checking on you often), you simply put one of their cards in a center-piece thingy (yes, thingy) and someone will come to you fairly quickly. Now for the food--I'll admit...if you put chips and salsa in front of me, I'm going to go to town even if it's not that great. But these chips and salsas are actually great. No, I didn't take a picture because I attacked them as soon as they got there but they have the right texture, are full of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. The guac is delicious, and so are the fish, mushroom, and chicken tacos. The cocktails are fresh and feel healthy even though, you know, they're cocktails! ‍ Bartaco is a must try!
