Elevated Fusion Tacos 🥇🥇 No tacos I have ever tasted before. Flavors have a bit of blend and more dazzling! Came here the Happy Hour at bar only. Instead got WOWED 🤩 by the tacos. The drinks are pretty awesome too but definitely come for the tacos 👍👍. Ask for Marie the manager 🙏🏻

Usually i have a great in-restaurant experience but this time i ordered via takeout and the rice bowl was underwhelming as well as the tacos. I added extra protein and there was barely any of either the chicken or the ribeye for the bowl and the taco's should have two tortillas because they were falling apart the second i went to eat them, for $17 i would have expected a-lot more meat in the rice bowl.

Stopped in for a late night eat right before closing and they were so courteous! Our server, Paul, explained the menu and the concept of the restaurant since this was our first time here. We started with chips and guac, which was amazing. We ordered several different tacos, which were all great, but the pork belly and chili lime shrimp stole the show. Loved the corn esquites as well. Lastly, the pomegranate limonada and the grapefruit ginger drinks were delicious! Everyone who stopped by our table were extremely nice and checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning!

Amazing food! I love dining-in with the beach vibe of the restaurant. I recommend their non-alcoholic mojito with the corn, falafel taco, and fruit. We also ordered take-out to eat in Jones beach and their food is so good in an actual beach! 🌮

The worst tacos I have had on Long Island. The decor is outstanding but I’m not going there for decor. No salt in guac. Over done pork belly. Overdone chorizo. The chips were underdone. The pozole tasted like stock. No flavor in any thing.

The food and service here is always superior. The chicken tacos and the corn esquites are my go to. The guac and salsa trio is also a must-order app. Our waitress Marie was attentive and kind. Our second time dining here but definitely not our last!

Was notified that my online order was available for pick up. Went to the front and was told to wait at the rear counter. Waited at that counter while a dozen workers walked by and stared at me including one that looked like he was the manager. After about 10-15 minutes one of them stopped and asked if she could help. I told her I was notified that my order was available for pick up 15 minutes ago and she handed me my order that has been sitting behind the counter the whole time. The food was already cold and soggy and they didn’t give me any sauce or utensils. 2 stars for the decor. -3 for no one caring about their job including the manager.

Never disappoints!! This is the 6th bar taco I've enjoyed a meal at. The chip trio is a must. Delicious salsas. Also love the plantains. Don't get me started on the margs - regular, spicy, mezcal. Woah!! And the tacos - AMAZING I just want to rush the kitchen and eat all of the pork belly - so good.

Nice and cute decor, came for lunch during the weekday and it had a few groups eating lunch already. We got a passion fruit margarita, regular margarita and one with spinach mango and passion fruit. We all enjoyed the cocktails. So fresh and great. Got the large guac and it was our first time seeing the chips as a giant circle instead of pieces but it was good and so was the guac. Favorite tacos: shrimp, fish (fried), pork belly. Pass on the chicken and ribeye (very dry) The shrimp ceviche was flavorful and the hot sauces they have on the table (3 of them) were all good. For service if you need someone you have to put the card on the holder and then they will come. Other than that they won't come.

Decor- 5 Food- 4 Drink- 3 Service- 2 Came here for HH and sat at the bar. I really liked the decor,, very bright and airy. I enjoyed the food I ordered but found the service and my cocktail lacking. Walking in there was no one at the hostess stand so I waited there a beat but, no one seemed to be around. As I started walking towards the bar, one of the servers saw me and let me know it was fine to sit there. I don't know if the bartender did not see me when i sat down or was just busy (though there werent that many ppl there), but it felt like a good 4-5 mins before he even acknowledged me to then tell me he would be with me shortly. He didn't mention HH, so I asked for the menu. I ordered the spicy pineapple marg from the HH menu and 3 tacos. I've had spicy margaritas before but this was very spicy and the halapeno taste was odd to me. Not sure how they added the jalapeño flavor but I did not enjoy it. They also don't strain the seeds out so you have to try to sip around or eat them. The chicken verde, and sesame ribeye tacos I had were very tender and flavorful. The pork belly taco was good but better with some added sauce. As fir service, I felt the bartender could've been more attentive as he did not greet me with his name, nor ask if I had been there before, or explain the menu to me as I saw him do with other patrons. It took me choking on my drink before he refilled my water. When I finally got his attention for the check I had to wait for him to finish juicing limes before he brought it to me. There was no thank you, have a nice day or anything from him as he handed it to me, although someone else behind the bar, who may have been a manager, asked me how everything was. Overall, I did not leave with the feeling of having a pleasing experience. Very disappointing.

I came back with my cousin after initially visiting in June and had yet another great experience! The service from the moment you check in is amazing, with staff smiling at you and explaining how to order, and asking if everything's good throughout. It is honestly really refreshing and makes you feel welcomed. For the food, we each got two tacos and shared the guac + chips and the street corn off the cob. I hadn't tried the corn and was obsessed! It was delicious and i even added some sauce that was provided and it was even better. The cauliflower taco isn't the most traditional but i recommend it, it's flavorful, and my cousin and I both agreed we'd get it again. this place is also super affordable, and the ambiance is a vibe , with dim lighting and good music. I overall recommend and will be back more often !

Bartaco is the perfect addition to the Roosevelt Field Mall Restaurant collection. I believe it opened a few months ago, replacing Osteria Morini. I came here last night for the first time, and without a doubt will return again in the near future. The food, flavors, and price point are entirely worth it. 1. Food- A variety of tacos to choose from. There are plentiful meat, pescatarian, and vegetarian options. I personally recommend the Chicken Verde and Chile Lime Shrimp tacos. The sesame ribeye taco was just okay, too much kimchi for me. They also have a fun appetizer sampler that gives you a taste of the street corn, guac, plantains and a refreshing cucumber salad. I highly recommend this for 1440 calories! I love that the menu includes nutrition/calorie information. Side note, if you are a sour cream lover, they have none. You can either run to Chipotle next door for a side of sour cream or try their delicious (really delicious) gordita sauce. I hope Bartaco decides to add sour cream to the menu, but I can also see why they don't have it. 2. Decor- They really redid the space quite nicely. The outdoor seating option is ideal for the summer, but the inside is pretty breathtaking. Coming here makes you feel like you are in California! 3. Staff- Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Our server gave us great recommendations and made us feel welcome despite our condiment debacle. We left him a good tip, as it isn't his fault that you guys don't have sour cream! He tried his best

This has become my new favorite quick bites spot at the mall. I frequent Roosevelt Field often and this is such a good addition. The food is amazing. You don't have to ask what's in the tacos, because the flavors are all paired so perfectly. The tiny kale cesar salad is one of my favorite things to get, it's soooo good and just the right size to pair with tacos. Now let's get into the drinks, all of the juices are FRESH! They make wonderful mocktails with natural sweeteners and fresh juice. The mixers that go into the cocktails are also squeezed fresh, on site as the drinks are made. The margaritas and tequila drinks are sooo refreshing. The servers are always friendly, service is pretty quick depending on the crowd. I normally sit at the bar and I love that they have outlets and bag hooks at the bar, so easy for a recharge, a bite and a drink while shopping. This restaurant has easy access because it is on one of the corners of the mall, so you enter from the parking lot. of the juices

Wanted to give this place another try after my last review, I wasn't hungry but was in the mood for a margarita. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and asked for a seat at the bar since it was just me. I forgot about the dragonfly sign, as far as putting it up when you want their attention, but as soon as I remembered, the bartender was right there to take my order. I had a passion fruit margarita which was very good. Since I only had the one drink, I opened and closed by tab right there so there was no wait for the bill. Bonus perk that made my day, I was ID'ed (when you're closer to 40 it's always a great feeling to be asked for ID)

After shopping at the Mall, I couldn't help but stop at this lovely restaurant. I felt like I was away in the Hamptons with the beach vibes and decor. The mocktails were delicious! Although small our tacos were very flavorful. The Ahi Tuna and the duck were delicious! The shrimp tacos had a kick and were so good! Will definitely be back to try their entrees.

Lunch was nice. The tacos are small and I believe are considered street tacos. I had one chicken, one pork and one fish. Not a bad selection. The guac and chips was good too. A little spicy. Tried the pisco drink. Not bad. It has a very young person's vibe. I might go back to try more tacos

Went Bartaco for coffee and dessert, very nice eatery, roomy. It's clean and inviting, it seems good for after work with friends. Bartaco has nice seating outside. Service was very good, young nice staff. It also has a nice menu, very much taco. I ordered Churros and coffee . I'll be back for dinner.

I'm not even the biggest sweet plantain, but these were just incredible and the dipping sauce was so good. - I got an old-fashioned made with anejo, delicious, but for the price it felt like a rip off The tacos were solid. I forgot how small they are. My favorite was the pork belly taco. I also got the Baja fish and the steak and those were good too. The tortilla was definitely a weak point though it was pretty bland. For dessert I got the Keylime pie and I will probably be thinking about it for quite some time. It was incredible. The service was fine, kind staff. The decor was nice and the outdoor dining area made you feel like you were in Tulum

Guac was a little bit spicy but not too spicy. Chips were fresh and crispy. Shrimp tacos was a bit too spicy for me but flavorful. I love that i can substitute for lettuce instead of the taco shell. The mojito was refreshing and delicious. I would say they are smaller than the average taco so you may need to order more. The ahi tuna was delicious. I didn't need any sauce for any of the tacos. I wish they also had grilled fish for tacos but I did like their fried one. Love that they have coloring books for the kids and cute cups. Decor was nice and spacious. Service was great and we got our food fast but then they forgot about us and I did have to flag someone to give me the check.

Went to check this place out since I was shopping at Roosevelt Field Mall yesterday and I wasn't disappointed. It's such a cute place, you don't feel like you're in a mall at all! Hostess and staff were really nice and friendly. The margarita was refreshing and the tacos hit the spot!

A new taco place on Long Island right inside Roosevelt Field Mall! They have a happy hour or "High Tide Hour" menu on weekdays from 3 to 6 PM at the bar only. I usually end work at 6 PM, but I got out early from an appointment and was able to make it to happy hour too! The bar table was very comfortable and had hooks right under for jackets or bags. The bartenders were both very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. My boyfriend and I shared everything. We got one of each of the 6 appetizers and 4 cocktails from the happy hour menu and 6 tacos from the regular menu. For appetizers, my favorite is the crispy chicken Flauta which tasted like a better made chicken taquito from 7eleven and second would be the pork belly sope (much too my surprise!). The pork belly sope is crispy instead of the fatty-like texture I was expecting and very smokey. The chicken Croqueta, tuna Tartare and chorizo pinxto were average. As for the shrimp Mariscos, I usually love shrimp but the sauce tasted like a bloody Mary with hints of Chile and lime and it was not it for me. The drinks were all well mixed and it's nice to know that margaritas are happy hour pricing when it's raining outside! Can't go to a taco place without trying the tacos! And they were delicious. The two that were recommended were definitely my favorites - Baja Fish and pork belly along with crispy shrimp which is my usually go to at any taco place. I usually like the pulled pork but this one was not it for me. In addition, the octopus was fresh and cooked well but the sweetness of the sauce was not it for me as well. As for chorizo, it's like any chorizo which my boyfriend liked. Super cute restaurant with lots of seating. Will definitely be back for happy hour!!

Really like what they've done with this new spot--such a great transformation. The decor feels fresh, and the menu has definitely been upgraded. The prices? Incredibly affordable, which is a huge win these days. I had to double-check the bill a few times because everything seemed too good to be true. I ordered the ahi tuna rice bowl--tuna was perfectly cooked and super fresh. I could've done without the extra sauce at the bottom; a bit too salty for my taste, but overall the combo worked. The street corn had just the right kick of spice--loved it. And the kale salad? Perfect pairing. Drinks were on point. The sangria and margarita both hit the spot--so good. The chicken tacos were flavorful, though a little plain--just meat and tortilla. Would've liked something extra there. Dessert was the tres leches. Delicious cake, but I scraped off the topping; the caramel cream and coconut felt unnecessary.

Their drinks here are good! I tried a few different tacos but I really liked the chile-lime shrimp taco. It was very very flavorful. I would come back here for a small bite & drinks rather than a full meal.

AMAZING!! We came here for drinks and snacks and it was delightful! The drinks were made to order and it was delicious. The margs were made using freshly squeezed limes and that made such a huge difference! We plan to return to try the food! The service was very very good and super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Ambiance was cool. I personally wish it wasn't connected to the mall but overall, great spot!

Wow! This hidden gem deserves more recognition! First walk yourself directly to the bar and look for Jio! Ask him his recommendations he will not lead you astray! My favorite : shrimp, and fish. If you are a duck lover order 4! The steak has a Korean feel not what I was expecting. The mushroom had some curry which was unexpected. The guacamole never purchase a small that is a sin! It is top tier! That margarita!!!!!!! It was so tasty I could have had numerous. I cannot wait to visit this location again. When it's raining head there they will turn your day around. Thank me later!

This spot has been open for 2 weeks - there is a ton of staff working - so you're always being taken care of - I sat at the bar and met a really sweet bartender Dee - she gave me a run down on the menu, she was super friendly and attentive - I ordered a tuna rice bowl which was amazing - (FYI all their rice bowls have crispy rice) the decor is a beach vibe with plenty of windows - so it's very bright in here

This place really was phenomenal. I like the small taco mixing and matching. The taco teaser was delicious, as were the drinks. Service was excellent and the ambiance was chill and bright, very impressive.

After going to Bar Taco a few times, my daughter decided she wanted to share the experience with her friends so we opted to celebrate her 12th birthday there. From the planning to the execution, Bar Taco was such a perfect place for her party. They were able to seat all 13 kids in one long table and gave us adults the 3 booths next to them, effectively giving us the back of the restaurant. I had preordered appetizers that arrived shortly after we settled into our seats and everyone was able to order exactly what they wanted. Both kids and adults had a great time. And we also truly appreciated the little surprise bag they gave to the birthday girl at the end of the night. Such a nice final touch to a great celebration! Thank you Darien and all the staff that night.

My first experience at Bartaco was the best anyone could ask for! The food was outstanding, but even more than that, my server, Marie M. was the most hospitable. She is a gem and I hope she is there every-time I go. And how can I not mention the ambiance that makes you feel like you're away on vacation. I definitely found my spot

I LOVEEE BARTACO. I have to brag that I grew up with bartaco nearby (the Westport CT location). I was very excited to hear their new opening in Long Island. I came here with a friend on a Friday evening. It is beautiful inside this is probably one of the biggest locations I have been to. They have their traditional basket lighting. The waiters and waitresses are in the blue checkered shirts. And it just feels like you are on Lakeside patio. The food is delicious. They have their own menu for this location pretty much the same options but some new items as well. The food was amazing. The margaritas were rockin! Def try it out!!!

Bar taco is just great happy to see it in Long Island. Was traveling all the way to the port Chester one to enjoy this amazing place. The ambiance is always a vibe, the drinks are always perfect and the food is delicious with a big menu to choose from! It's hard to not go to bar taco every time we go out. The service is great with great ordering system using your phone. It's easy and fast.

Bar taco just opened four weeks ago at the Roosevelt mall! What a great addition. This chain is surprisingly consistent with quality meals, fast service and fun drinks! We came last night- huge space with abundance of outdoor and indoor seating. This place will soon become jam packed and a scene!

This new location recently opened from a company that made the best Margarita that I've ever had. Used to drive all the way to portchester just to get the margarita with fresh juices in it. After you try this one you won't ever go back. The service at the portchester location was great, walking up to Westbury New York location I was saying I hope the service stays the same. All I can say its as great or even better than the portchester location and I don't have to drive over an hour anymore. The staff that I dealt with was very helpful when I asked about food and other things that I needed. I dealt with my server shila I believe her name was who was very friendly and polite, she gave off a great vibe and made me feel welcome. I wanted water without ice and she didn't hesitate to accommodate use right away to the smallest detail, thank you. I also was talking to the manager Darien, who was also amazing and helpful and friendly, I can't wait to come back thank you guys so much for a great evening.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The kitchen totally messed up my order and I have food allergies. I needed my food to have no gluten and no dairy. My order was "to-go". When I arrived home, every taco has a milk based sauce on the top. I had to throw my entire order out. I called and received the run around, I was finally able to speak to the manager. He said he can't refund me, only corporate can. I'm still waiting for my refund and it's been months. I was traveling for some time and now at this point, I'm just going to file a dispute with my bank. This location is being run by an incompetent manager who does not know how to handle basic customer centric problems. Not all bar tacos are like this. The one in Port Chester is much better. I rather take the drive out there than ever return to this location.

This is my place!!! Marie the made it more than right really wasn't about the money, but more the experience. The tacos were great, the service was beyond good, I would highly recommend coming. We probably just came on a day they were super busy but they definitely made it right. Try that tres leche and be blown away!!!

Whenever I'm visiting family on Long Island from LIC, this spot is always a go-to for quick service, great food, and friendly vibes. I tried the Summer Duo--chimichurri ribeye and lobster tacos--and absolutely loved it. Easy place to grab a delicious meal and enjoy a good drink.

Brand new the service is great the staff is attentive, the food is great I had the duck, shrimp, Baja fish, pork belly, and beef tacos. The portions are small which is anticipated for street tacos style but they were flavorful. The guacamole is super good, I definitely recommend it. Overall had a great experience and will be back!

OMg the worst experience I hate to even say it I was soo excited to try these place but I'm beyond disappointed with the staff and the food I get that they just opened so of course give them the benefit of the doubt that they are still figuring out the whole system wasn't even in place and which I truly get it but unfortunately so many mishaps first they didn't even notify us that they only accept physical card no Apple Pay no cash that's after we ate ** Imagine which should have been said prior to seating Second the food omg portions for the price I get it tapa style small portions but it wasn't good at all ... its fusion with the rating of 2 or probably lower... only the guac I can say it's good and the churros drinks are soo over rated its too much ice in a very small cup I'm beyond disappointed with this place I would rather spend on true food or small batches even Havana central had better food than this place not recommended at all!! I'm so disappointed that I'm never coming back The only positive thing I can say is that it's brand new the restrooms are clean But I'm just disappointed with the service n the quality of food it's not good at all

Was my job to find a place for our monthly catch up with my bestie. I choose Bartaco, first time for us both. We met at 3:30, so Happy Hour so we decided to sit at the bar. That was a great choice. We met Delvy, the bartender, and she was outstanding. Everything you want in a friendly bartender. She took the time to explain the hand crafted cocktails concept of fresh juices, and the happy hour menu. She assured us the each small bite was packed with flavor, and she wasn't wrong. The place was beautiful, and the music was great. Good food can be overshadowed by bad service, but Delvy kept us satisfied with her attentive service. We will def return!

The service was pretty good until the food arrived. The menu said the food would be served family style. I didn't know family style meant that people at the same table would get their food at different times and for the drinks to take forever to arrive. We had to call the server over a few times to remind them of various parts of our order that were forgotten. Beyond that, the food was mediocre at best. Definitely will not be coming back. The decor was nice though.

Server Brianna was incredible! So nice, courteous, patient with my (very challenging) family! So grateful - she greeted us with a smile and calmly made us feel most comfortable, offering the best seating for us that was otherwise blocked off. Thank goodness, because that could've made / break the night for us. From there the food was delicious and fun to share. Everyone had a great time. The atmosphere and decor were the highlights of this restaurant. It feels like your on vacation. The food is delicious and the service is on point.

This was our second time dining here in a month and I would eat here a third time this month! The food is great, the customer service is even better! Our little one feels like he's part of the crew with the extensive kids menu! Natasha is an asset to the team and the brand! We will definitely be back!

The first time we went here we had excellent food & drinks. However the second time we are not so sure if we'd stop by again. The service here has always been questionable. The first time our server was clearly new and had no idea what was going on. Our food accidentally was put under the wrong table and led to a lot of confusion. Our second time the server was just honestly not good and straight up walked away before my husband finished his order. All the servers are much more concerned with being friends than they are attending to customers (which is fine to be friends but just do it after customers are attended to!) Also worth noting our second time around the menu was the same but the recipes for the food were different in a bad way. When we alerted the server they said chefs made changes so we couldn't necessarily change anything if we sent the food back. Not sure if I would return as the service and food changes really made this place mediocre.

The first visit was ok, but coming back to try again was the problem. The place was not busy but yet I waited a while because someone came over to the table. I'm being real picky about this but once the person did finally show up they asked if I had been there before. I replied yes that I have. They then proceeded to explain to me the process of ordering. Then states I'll be back and walked away. Food - tacos are small and overpriced. Drink - over priced cup of juice and ice for their alcohol beverages

My family and I were very excited to try this new place only to be met with disappointment. The atmosphere was awesome but the food was awful and so was the service. First off the portions are small for a high price. We had ordered take out and oh my goodness the lemonade! It didn't even fill a cup and it was too strong! Second they missed a lot of things in the order. Initially we checked it before leaving the restaurant to find they forgot to add the drinks which they did correct. But upon coming home we found they forgot to add the shrimp to one of the orders. We called and asked for a refund but never received one! Overall, not a very good experience. We plan to never return.

The staff is pretty friendly. I enjoyed thei margaritas. I had the spicy margarita for the first time ever and it was delicious. The vibes are pretty nice and laid back, very nice management. I loved their pork belly rice bowl. This is cool addition to the mall.

Love this place to death but they have some work to do. I mostly come here for happy hour and unfortunately you can only enjoy the happy hour menu at the bar, which wouldn't be a problem if they had more than one or two people working the bar. Every time I've gone it's taken a good 20 minutes to get the bartenders attention to order a drink, even on a day that's not busy... and in some cases happy hour is already over by the time they get to me. Went for happy hour with my mom a few weeks ago and we were late for our movie because it took them sooo long to get us the check. I love the food and drinks!!! I want to give you my money!!! Very frustrating. Don't come here if you need a quick place to eat/drink!

Loved our server Geraldo and the food was amazing. The manager who was seating/walking around however (mid age white woman w glasses) was horrible. She had an attitude from the time we walked in and asked for a table. I asked as she was passing if there were any nuts in the tres leches, no complaints just a question. Her response was "there's coconut & coconut is a nut" then she went to the server and had a full blown conversation about our table, was rude with lots of unnecessary hand movements. Firstly, coconut is technically a fruit and we should be taking allergies more seriously but also as manager I need her to be more informed & much more personable.
