I came here to get a breakfast sandwich while out on a walk. The place itself is more like a small supermarket, but they have a counter to order fresh made sandwiches along with pre-made selections. I ordered the turkey and egg pesto sandwich ($11) that was delicious. Super friendly staff

Bartlett Farm is a great islands adventure. Perfect place to grab fresh fruits and veggies, grab a bottle of wine, walk around, kill some time , grab lunch, and dinner for home. They have great bakery and fresh dessert assortment. Their tomatoes are the best tomatoes ever. Kids friendly - yes, especially summertime. They have little playground and ice cream. They also offer some fun family adventures, including tractor rides and tomatoes picking. When you hear farm, do not think it is just a farm is much more. Great cheese and crackers assortment. Weekly dinners specials. Breakfast and lunch daily... even yoga. They have everything in one. Yes, prices are pricey, but you got all in one. The garden center is amazing. You can find everything that you need from dirt and planters to the seeds. Flowers are beautiful and also their flower arrangements. I will add that the pumping season is my favorite - they have the best pumpings for decor ever. Place is picture perfect. Worth it for the experience.

Walked over here after Cisco Brewers. It was maybe a 10 minute walk. (There is no sidewalk for most the walk. When you get to the curve in front of the farm, there is a dirt path that takes you straight to the parking lot.) This is a convenience store that has a deli attached. I wanted to try something local to the island or at least not typical. They have a pretty nice menu of standard fare, but I got their Bartlett's Chicken Salad sandwich. It comes on Ciabatta with honey mustard, cheddar, pepperoncini, and farm made chicken salad for $11.99. I also tried a morning glory muffin, which is apparently something local to Nantucket that I had never heard of. It has coconut, carrot, and raisins. It was surprisingly good and only maybe $3.50. Very fair prices in the deli compared to the rest of the island. I can't speak for the convenience store, but some of the frozen pizza looked high to me, but that's probably island pricing. Nothing too crazy, but I'd definitely come back for sandwich if nearby.

Google
What a wonderful place to stop and take time to pickup a little bit of everything. I was able to snag lobster rolls, T-shirts, some groceries, and ice coffee all in the same place. It was all fantastic too. We sat outside and relaxed near the playground as our children played. Currently this is a little off season so it was not super busy, I’d say usually expect a lot of people here. Well worth going, check it out if you have time!

Google
Very busy and nice finds. They had a very large selection of prepared foods for on the go. Where else can you find unique plants and groceries in 1 spot! Some things were just a little higher than they should be priced.

Google
This is a nice destination to stop and pick up fresh items like plants and fruits. Inside there is a smaller upscale market with some unique products from various locations on and off island. Lots of choice for something different. Also be sure to check out he wine selection and the fresh seafoods. Your sure to find something good here.

We picked up chicken salad sandwiches, they were great! Would definitely go back for the sandwiches alone. Cute store with lots of options to choose from

Not just a grocery store/farm. An experience. Very cool gifts for purchase, amazing fresh cooked foods, plants/flowers. Very cool place to visit.

Yelp
I am sure the food is acceptable but we haven't had it yet since we ordered takeaway. I have two concerns with the Farm. First, on Sunday, the service was very slow at the deli. The place didn't look busy but the chicken salad sandwich was slow. They had run out of clam chowder soup and it was going to take 20 minutes to finish a new batch. A manager should have foreseen the issue and started preparations for replacing it earlier. Second, it seemed like very little staff was local. Everyone had name tags from another country. I went to enjoy a 7th generation farm that sells local products and would like to see local employees.

Yelp
I guess we'll update every year when we come. We super duper love so many aspects of this farm -- but only when we apply a certain methodology for shopping here. I do not buy any produce that's imported from elsewhere, especially if it is not organic, since it is of the same quality you'd find at Stop & Shop -- but for double the price. I will, however, gladly buy anything organic that is grown on the farm. In late June of this year, cabbages, root vegetables (turnip, radish), summer squash, tomatoes, and hydroponic greens were on offer and all were beautiful + worth the spend. We miss our PYO strawberries, but we read that the field was infested with mold, sadly, and had to be restarted elsewhere. No matter. We are very patient when good things are worth the wait. Love Barlett's for my locally grown veggies, some of the loveliest staff on the island, the kombucha like wine from Maine, turmeric tahini, New England cheese selection, and harder to find ingredients like fish sauce, high quality soy sauce and toasted sesame oil, tofu, and even kimchi. Prepped food (including a $24 quiche and $22 pie) were not of high enough quality to be worth the spend to us personally. The Pardner loves the sandwiches, which I find extravagantly priced given that we make similarly kick ars sandwiches at home. But I'm a cheapskate and the bottom line should always be: You do you! :)

Joel N.

Yelp
Definitely my go to market on island. From the friendly and inviting workers to the variety of food they have to offer. We always stop by the deli/bakery/kitchen and get something to go whether it's dessert, sandwich or dinner. We never feel rushed when shopping or overcrowded with like at other stores. I love their island jerk chicken sandwich, Reuben, Caesar salad, most of their desserts, and the coconut water by the refrigerator section.

Tiffanie S.

Yelp
The products here are out of this world. The corn...omg, thank goodness for their produce truck in town. I'm happily headed home with a carry on bag full of fresh picked corn at only $1 an ear.

Lauren R.

Yelp
We love Bartlett's Farm to get fresh and delicious sandwiches. They have a great selection of bakery items as well.

Yelp
Renowned Fresh Produce Farm so good, they market swag Bartlett's highbrow mall #NOLA_Haiku #GreyLady #Nantucket #Summer21 #ACK #FarmFresh #CapeCod #FreshProduce #Haiku #BartlettsFarm

Yelp
The staff is always absolutely amazing at Bartletts, not only are they helpful but they are kind and pleasant! The store is always clean & tidy even when it is busy. The online food ordering makes everything so simple. If you haven't been to Bartletts, you need to go!

Steven S.

Yelp
Great produce and hard to find foods, brands. Sandwich deli makes nice breakfast bagels, iced coffee... would love to shop more often here, but like most places on ACK it is so so expensive now.

Shannon N.

Yelp
The most delicious caprese sandwiches!! Definitely recommend stopping by for a quick breakfast or lunch. Everything is fresh and the food is mouthwatering. This is the perfect place to stop before heading to the beach. The market also has a ton of options for takeout, groceries and wine. It even looked like a little stage was set up outside for shows throughout the summer. This market truly has it all.

Stephen A.

Yelp
The reason for 5 stars is this place has everything fresh farm grown foods, their coffee bar is really good and the haul over breakfast sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and they can do it all gluten free as well. Their pastries and pies are amazing. They also do affordable lunches and dinners Tuesday prime rib is really good. And it's also I gift shop. My 15 year old dog needed to be put down in September because he could no longer walk and seemed to be in pain. My vet told me to try CBD oil yup they make and sell their own and 4 months later my dog is still with me walking and not in as much pain. Some of their prices are a bit high on normal groceries but then again I don't go there for that. 5 stars because the staff is friendly courteous and they have so much to offer with a view.

Tom B.

Yelp
This is an amazing farm and grocery store! This is a "must do" when on Nantucket. The fresh farm grown vegetables are incredible and the prepared food is delicious!!! They also have a garden center and full supermarket with anything that you would need while on island. Family owned and operated as well!!

Alex R.

Yelp
Bartletts Farm is a neat little deli/grocery store that also offers seasonal Farm to Table dinners in their greenhouse. The first time I went to Nantucket 6 of us went to the dinner and it was really fresh, filling, and delish. We went to the grocery store section (this was in September) and because it was warm, and maybe because of some issues, there were fruit flies E V E R Y W H E R E. It was a bit overwhelming and chased me away from the produce. The deli made a couple of our sandwiches and they were really good! Nantucket priced at ~$12 but they were full and almost too big to eat! They're very environmentally friendly, have neat little deals on shirts and decorations, and always become a staple in our Nantucket visits. This time around, no fruit flies lol. Maybe too cold or maybe they got their hands around their tiny little throats and showed them who was boss!

Sandra S.

Yelp
We loved it here! We got sandwiches for lunch, which were so good, and we sat outside on a picnic table to eat them, as we waited for our Uber to pick us up. It is a little out of the way, if you are staying downtown, but with all of the groceries, baked goods, sandwiches and beer/wine, it was worth the trip.

Kaitlin M.

Yelp
Still love it here. The fresh produce is amazing, the grab and go items for the beach, the selection of beer and wine (wish they had high noon for seltzer! Maybe next year). We got breakfast sandwiches, coffees, a scone (OMG what a scone--with fresh cranberries?! LOVE), chips, dips, salad stuff, corn, sauces, beer, wine, hats, koozies. There was a stage set up for theater this year, outdoor picnic tables, pop up shops. A great spot on Nantucket.

Lana J.

Yelp
I loved Bartlett's Farm. Delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Prices were decent on most things. A perfect stop for food on your way to the beach!

Steph M.

Yelp
I come from Seattle, where we have the best farmer's markets in the nation, and I was not impressed. It's hard to tell which produce is grown on the farm and when it was harvested, and the staff doesn't know which varieties are for sale. Its also not clear which produce is organic. And it's all so overpriced that it's comical. A quick example: a 24 pack of cheap spring water was $23.99. $7.99 for a 4-pack of Spindrift, folks! Like...what?! 3 stars because the fresh salsa was good, and the fresh corn we bought did well on the grill. Stop and Shop is much better despite the crowds.

Kaila C.

Yelp
What an awesome store! Lots of variety, and lots of organic and healthy options! Their prepared foods looked killer, and they have fresh produce straight from their farm. I will def be back!

Jim E.

Yelp
Sorry Bartlett Farm, epic fail today I have enjoyed the market since 1997 when it was operating in a corner of the greenhouse. The farm is famous for wonderful tomatoes, ripe, sweet, delicious. I have always felt like they were expensive, but offered great quality, so reasonably good value. Until today. I stopped in the market to buy lunch sandwiches for the beach. I got the "farm stand roast beef" sandwich for $10.99 What I got was 1 slice of roast beef 1 slice of tomato 1 leaf of romaine 2 slices of bread...... It's almost comical how stingy the person was who made this. If they were deliberately trying make the worst possible sandwich, it would look exactly like this. See the picture. Shame on you Bartlett. From now on I'll truck over to Something Natural for one of their fantastic sandwiches.

A G.

Yelp
Great sandwich selections. Prices weren't overly excessive but the quality of the ingredients were. All were superb! Best tasting sandwiches of our trip.

Vin D.

Yelp
Great place Super variety including fresh veggies and home made meals. A don't miss are the home made soups. The butternut squash and clam chowder are amazing!!

Chris S.

Yelp
This is the cutest market and farm stand! Four of us biked there and decided to have breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly and he market itself was immaculate and well stocked. The food was fantastic. We took our sandwiches outside and ate at a picnic table on the premises. We realized later that we could have taken our breakfast to the beach, which is close by. Wonderful experience!

Ann P.

Yelp
Came with a group to enjoy an amazing tour by Dorothy Bartlett and Farmer Andrew. Amazing farm, great history and a lovely experience. We had lunch. The selection is amazing. They have high end food choices Aqua ViTea Kombucha. The wine selection is expansive. Love it here.

Cristina P.

Yelp
Great market, quite a variety in a small space and lots of fresh produce and snacks. Deli, meat, dairy, everything you could want!

Kendra M.

Yelp
GREAT! Everything about Bartlett's Farm is top notch, fresh and delicious. They have a kitchen making good food to go or something to eat right there. Nantucket is so lucky to have Bartlett's Farm supplying this island with fresh veggies and great service! Thanks!

Mrs F.

Yelp
This farm has been a staple for me during my many years on beautiful Nantucket but I've about had it. The prices are very high, the selection is limited, the produce is mediocre BUT most frustrating is how rude and obnoxious the staff is. I waited for several minutes at the deli counter, while there were 4-5 employees behind the counter not helping anyone. When the woman finally helped me she was not friendly and was quite unpleasant. The woman next to me was getting a coffee and was told she could not taste it while in the store. This used to be worth the effort but has become a Hamptons-sequel store.

Ms O.

Yelp
Great selection, everything is fresh, love the gifts and it's a beautiful farm stand.

Susie D.

Yelp
A great find in the middle of the island. So much fresh produce and prepared foods like a variety of sandwiches, soups, cheeses, crackers and more. I picked up a very tasty crab dip! They have other snacks and wine for sale too. A great little store to shop at, so support your local farmers! No farmers = No food!

M J.

Yelp
This is like a small Russo's (Watertown) on a huge family owned farm in the middle of Cisco - but pricier. Just shop the sales. Many produce and flower items are grown on site in season. The prepared food was all very good, especially the sandwiches. Lobster roll came on a toasted (no greasy) brioche roll. Hit the nearby Cisco brewery on the way in and your fridge is stocked and good to go.

Jess L.

Yelp
Bartlett's is a must-do, must-see adventure on Nantucket. You can get incredible, local produce here as well as lots of organic and natural products. There's also an amazing outdoor selection of flowers with a space almost as large as the barn/store itself. Their cheese selection is also worth noting. I'd say they have standard items to a Whole Foods plus local goodies. The prices are what you might expect too, if not just a notch higher.

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Not sure why 'ocean view' is in the name...maybe if you go to the very back of the farm you are on the beach but who knows... I don't like the changes that have happened over the years...I remember when it was just a farm. And then a covered farm (that was great!). But now it's like a legit grocery store which crazy prices. They do offer great things though, in both the veggies grown there and the pastrys' made there.

Danielle L.

Yelp
We were pointed in this direction by a local one night while at the bar. He recommended we grab a sandwich here and then head to Cisco for a beer. We did just that! Love talking to the locals because you get such great insight. The market is small but they have a lot of unique and natural, organic items. After walking around and seeing the wide selection they have, we headed to the deli and ordered their deli special which was a "Thanksgiving Sandwich", turkey with stuffing and cranberry, we also ordered a regular turkey cold cut sammy. My husband had the Thankskgiving one and he STILL says that's the best sandwich he has ever had. There's not too much to say about a grocery store, but it's a great place to go and grab some food for a picnic, beach day or just to chill at the brewery.

Shawna W.

Yelp
Love the ice cream truck! This is a great location for a cold treat after a long hot day at our families favorite Cisco Beach. We can stop by on our way home and get a giant banana split or tasty salted caramel delight in a waffle cone. What we love besides the location and yummy ice cream and maybe my favorite part of all is that the price is right. This stop won't break the bank.

Eliza M.

Yelp
Just an all around great farm store- it's more like a fine foods market with the bonus of having beautiful flowers and farm fresh produce from right outside. There is also a section of cool T-shirt's and hats and a kids section with books and toys and some clothes. Nice selection overall of things. Some good prepared foods, in particular they have an amazing key lime pie- not too sweet- delicious!

Deborah A.

Yelp
Overrated and overpriced. Years ago it was a nice family farm and market stand. Then they got the community to donate money to "help pay their property taxes" so that they didn't have to sell their acreage for development. That money ended up being used to build the current huge market. Same family still owns it, however, it's the same as any other place with commercial produce brought in. Very little is organic - if any. Might as well go to the local grocery and pay less. At least there you can find organic food also. Bartlett's doesn't label anything organic, at least they're being truthful about that, because it isn't. Nantucket resident

L H.

Yelp
Ordered sandwiches. They lost the order somehow. We stood there for an hour and 15 minutes! The people could not be more rude or unpleasant. It was actually amazing to see such unpleasantly. Then we got the sandwiches and they were WRONG. I love going there but it's extremely disheartening to be treated so poorly.

Kenneth L.

Yelp
Best prime rib dinner on ACK, bar none! and at a terrific price! Not to be missed,,,

Laura S.

Yelp
Great convenient store . Everything you need . Fruits and veggies super fresh . Great cheeses , bakery ...... Little pricy but we in Nantucket

road s.

Yelp
Ok so either the reviews are written by staff or owners or by sympathetic locals but here's an honest city living reviewers pov: the store is small. It's more like a general store than a supermarket. It carries some gourmet tid bits but whomever claimed that it's like a wholefoods has never shopped at a whole foods. It has a very small selection of meats packaged in plastic, no fish, ( no plastic packaged smoked salmon doesn't count ) and for being a "farm" there's almost no organic fruit or vegetables !!! So after picking up some gourmet snacks we found ourselves at stop and shop to really stock up the fridge . ( good meat and organic food selection ) On the positive side it's pretty, staff are friendly and the plant flower store is amazing - if I lived out there yes - but wasn't worth the trek from where we were staying ( which was in town )

Diane Z.

Yelp
A total rip off! Bought two paninis and some chips here. The sandwiches were ok, not good, but not bad. But this place makes Whole Foods look inexpensive. Everything is completely marked up. This is highway robbery! Avoid if you can. If you are starving, get a panini,

Sara C.

Yelp
Overpriced mediocre sandwiches. No sandwich made to order. Green juice went too heavy on the cucumber. Cute market. We biked out here to grab lunch. Would have preferred to grab sandwiches in town.

Todd Y.

Yelp
The place has grown over the years and they have done a very nice job upgrading. They have two giant cows out front that my son loved looking at (Ben & Jerry - very cute). They have a small little playground which was just big enough for my 20 month to play with.. Could it be nicer, yes. But it was nice enough The market was very nice, the prices aren't actually terrible, being from Raleigh, yes there was a premium but it's not like the gas premium on island and the fruits and veggies are very fresh... Didn't do anything with the deli or prepared food counter as they looked very expensive and just eh... The pies looked good but way too expensive for my blood. They toy section is just a bit out of the element and I wouldn't have had that there, takes away from the market feel and more touristy... It's fun seeing the people pick the flowers and veg daily and be in the store in a few hours..

Melissa M.

Yelp
The old Bartlett's would have gotten 5 stars from me, but it makes me a bit sad that it's turned all supermarket like with an actual (not dirt) parking lot. They definitely have more variety now but there was something great about the dirt parking lot and small variety. The farm fresh veggies are delicious and the choice in the summer is fantastic. Homegrown flowers are beautiful!

Laura L.

Yelp
Bartletts is my favorite grocery store on the island. I don't like tomatoes but I will eat Bartlett tomatoes raw, like an apple. It is on the more expensive side, but so is everything on the island. They have a decent variety of things, including delicious pies and jams, to fresh veggies to some yummy yogurt. I'm definitely a fan

Dennis D.

Yelp
Love it there. Good spot for plants and groceries and they rotate dinner specials each nt if you want takeout. Ok coffee but the new ice cream stand looks awesome. Bring the kids to see the farm animals next to the parking lot. Then shoot over to nearby Cisco Brewery

M K.

Yelp
What a sweet little farm with something for everyone. From ready made sandwiches to wine, gifts and produce, everyone visiting the island should try it at least once! Perfect pit stop for your day's outing as you can pack your picnic basket with fresh, local goodies and grab lunch before heading to the beach. They also have a good wine selection of wines that are local, regional and beyond.

brian k.

Yelp
Visited the farm for the art festival and easily did some pretty good damage there alone. The grocery store was also a great find. Heading back tomorrow for a peach/blueberry pie

Gordon H.

Yelp
This should be your only place to by your groceries on the island! Everything is so good that you end up come back over and over. Best to go early in the day before the crowds get going. Fresh made sandwiches are available if you don't have time to have them make you one to order. You are paying top dollar but you are getting top quality food! The flowers are also fresh and nice. We usually stop and get some flowers and groceries when we first get on the island, the flowers last for weeks but the food is gone in days from my boy's appetites. We tend to shop there every other day or so as we pass by it on the way to the beaches each day. It is west of downtown and best to drive to if you plan on bring things home.

Melissa C.

Yelp
Was recommended to go get lunch here before checking out Cisco. Had a hard time finding it using Google Maps, but ultimately found my way there. Got a fresh sandwich and soup to eat outside at the picnic benches. It was a nice way to get lunch instead of going to a restaurant and paying more but still getting something fresh. Seemed like they had a lot of options and fresh food.

Tadd F.

Yelp
Excellent produce! I check in daily for what is being picked. Great specialty product selection!
