A food-cart standout serving tavern-style and NY-influenced pies, plus a campus bistro spin-off. Included in Lookout Eugene-Springfield’s 2025 guide, it’s loved for garlicky knots, generous toppings, and a relaxed, family-friendly pod setting.

Ordered from Door Dash EMU location. The pizza arrived late, cold, and burnt to a black crisp. only refunded $5

Why is it hard for some people to get out of their own way? Dude is serving up Pizza, eh? Why did he have to be who he is? I got a slice her one time before. Good pizza. Pizza with a purpose. Today? Pizza was okay. We must have been the first customers. Guy could not heat it up properly. If I want a lukely presented pizza I will eat off my counter where it has been sitting for hours. The pizza I got at Domino's the other day was hot, well made, delicious. Mostly delicious. I liked it. This today, with the, whatever attitude? Bite me. Will not be back.

Went and picked up for the first time food was on time but the pie was way below what we expected for the hype and price. Barely any sauce or toppings mostly a lot of chewy crusty leftover. Ate two slices and gave up

Google
Bartolottis is a great little pizza truck that sells pizza by the slice or 18 inch gourmet pizzas. They are located at a food truck venue, right next to a local market and dispensary. The staff here was fast and efficient, and the slices are definitely worth the price. I wish they had more options for by the slice, maybe something with a pesto sauce? Oh and they don't have ranch, if they added a ranch side It would be 5 star for sure.

Chris Schyljuk

Google
I waited 30 minutes for 2 slices that I paid $5.50 for. I was waiting so long, I asked the guy if my order was ready and asked for a time estimate and he said “when it’s done.” Get good dude, pizza was mid and attitude was garbage.

Natalie Burch

Google
The pizza somehow manages to taste sweet and somehow has no real flavor. It tastes like something you could get in a middle school cafeteria. The garlic knots had good flavor, but were completely over baked. The only real good thing about the place was the staff, they were lovely people. This is a place you go for beer, not for food.

Google
Easily the best pizza in the area. A not too sweet sauce that doesn't resemble tomato paste, a great cheese blend and they get the crust to have a perfect crisp. You can fold it proper and it doesn't sag.

Jacklyn Freeman

Google
I ordered the alfredo with chicken parm and received pasta and chicken with no sauce. I called and they said they could remake it for me but I couldn't drive back the same night. They didn't offer to refund me or take my name for a later date either. The other food we ordered was sub par at best and not worth the price. Will definitely not be returning.

Yelp
Edit: added 2 stars for Steve reaching out. I really do love Bartolotti's pizza so we will be giving them another chance and trying out the Uni location. I'm heartbroken to say that this not the Bartolotti's of old. The brick and mortar Bartolotti's in Springfield has closed so we of course can running over to the food truck. We live in a rural area and drive 25 miles in to get pizza and Bartolotti's in Springfield was my favorite go to pizza place. Even though sometimes a woman who worked there was rude and hung up when we tried to place an order to pick up. We would go in anyway and order and wait. It was worth it! Back to the pizza we got today from the food truck on Friendly Street. They were out of ricotta and basil, there's a store across the street... just saying... so we changed our order from the Bianca All White pizza, my personal favorite to Bruschetta pizza and a pepperoni. We walked across the street to get ricotta so I could add my own if wanted at home. I have some basil plants at home so that's covered also. We get our pizzas and take them home. I look when we get home and apparently they for some ricotta and put it on the substitute pizza... okay, fine. That's not the issue. The issue is the pizza crust looks undercooked and the other cheeses, mozzarella and ? look plastic like they have started to cut corners and are using cheap cheese. Breaks my heart because Barolotti's truly was THE BEST PIZZA in Eugene. Steve, I hope you get things sorted out. I will probably give you another chance for the love of the pizza! And then I'll update my review

Dave B.

Yelp
I did not like this pizza. The dough was super bland. Under-salted and under-fermented. The sauce was bland too. Couldn't tell if it was bad tomatoes or under-salted. The cheese was alright, there was too much though and it made the pizza a bit too oily. Surprised that people recommended this as the best NY slice in Eugene cause it's like a 3/10 I make far better pizza at home. Even Whole Foods slices are better lol
google avatar

Brent B.

Yelp
All around solid pizza - crust, cheese, toppings, everything is consistently really good and in just the right ratios. Probably my favorite pizza in Eugene so far!
google avatar

Yelp
At one time this was the best pizza in town. Last few times I ordered pizza was overcooked. Tonight I place an order online per their website's suggestion. 20 minutes after placing the order I get a notification that the order was cancelled because they never confirmed the order. Tried calling on a Saturday at 5:20pm and no answer. Won't be ordering from here again.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Confession: I've lived in Eugene for4 years and have been shit talking this town's pizza the whole time. I've tried a bunch of places that just don't live up to my NY-style expectations. (No, the very bready pizzas can't compare.) Now I feel like I need to walk back some of that criticism because Bartolotti's does NY style pretty well. The star of the show was the cheese--it had the right balance of cheese and saltiness that are must-haves and signatures of a good slice. The sauce was good and did its job without being sweet or too thick. The crust was thin and foldable, but when I got to the edge where the crust wasn't covered in sauce or cheese, it wasn't particularly flavorful. Not bad by any means, but not memorable. However, working in harmony, this is some of the best NY style pizza in town. Plus, the service was friendly and quick--it took about 2 minutes to heat my slice. I definitely recommend a slice, and I'm looking forward to going back to try a pepperoni slice or stromboli.

Yelp
Their Stromboli is incredibly good. Had the Spencer's Butte, and it was delicious! Loaded with spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. A delightfully thin and crispy crust. Good, fun service. And The Friendly Garden is a great little neighborhood food truck/beer garden scene, too.

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood and have been getting Bartolotti's for years. It's been decent, if inconsistent. But, the past few months the pizza has been literally disgusting. I keep trying because it's close and easy, but I'm going to stop wasting my money. Last time the pizza was apparently loaded with chedder or something because we used a ton of paper towels to sop up all of the oil. I'm not kidding, not overstating. Not a normal amount of oil for even an oily pizza. The oil was soaked clear through the box after a 10 minute walk home. Tonight, besides still being crazy oily, the pizza was loaded with parmesan or gorgonzola or some other weird (for pizza) cheese because I could literally *not taste* the PEPPERONI because the cheese was too strong. That doesn't happen in pizza! It made my mouth tingle it was so strong. On top of that, the ipad they handed me to sign with my finger was completely disgusting, smeared with oil and flour. The staff are clearly not washing their hands before touching it, and not cleaning it between customers. The box also had oily black fingerprints on it. That's really not ever okay, but during Covid? I don't blame the staff, they're young and we're not all that responsible when we're young and left to ourselves. This is a management issue. All this tells me that the management has basically been hands off, not training their staff, and not following up on quality. There's not a lot of options on Friendly, so I am begging you Bartolotti's management, please train and maintain your staff's training. Teach them food safety and check up on it. And make clear what goes on a pizza and what doesn't. Or, if you've recently changed your recipes, please keep testing. This isn't it.

Yelp
Really delicious meatball parmigiana stromboli. Dough tasted very fresh and the setting (@Friendly Garden) is great. Check it out!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We ordered two pizzas from Bartolotti's tonight - when we got home we found that 1- they put the wrong toppings on the pizza, 2- part of the pizza was just crust - no sauce, no topping, and 3- one of the pizzas was burnt. We have often ordered from the cart and this was a first. Someone is not paying attention to what they're doing. And when pizzas cost about $30 you expect to get what you ordered and to get a decent pizza. This seems like more than a Covid issue (per your disclaimer). We plan to look for a different pizza place but please speak with your employees - they're not doing a good job.
google avatar

Erin G.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this food cart yesterday however, I waited in line for nothing. I continued to wait patiently until it was my turn but I was basically ignored until I made direct eye contact with one of the young girls in the cart. When she saw that I was ready to order she barked were all out of everything except the special which didn't look appetizing. I was shocked to hear that because it was 6pm and still early and there was a line behind me waiting to order. I politely questioned in disbelief "you're out of everything"..? I asked if I could just order a slice of pepperoni..? And she then replied we're just extremely backed up and it will be a while. The level of service was in the toilet and to be honest they didn't look like the cream of the workforce. I shook my head and broke the news to the folks behind me. They lost lots of business
google avatar

Tyra F.

Yelp
Great pizza we love it I always try and bring the kids The service is fast and the crust is simply perfect
google avatar

Dennis G.

Yelp
I ordered via Uber Eats and although the delivery time was a little long it is understandable during COVID; so many homes are ordering to-go and delivery options. The pizzas themselves were very good. The sauce flavor was great.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Horrible customer service experiences lately! Zero personality, garbage customer service! Some people there are cold, careless robots! It's hit or miss, but there have been a lot of misses lately!
google avatar

Missy S.

Yelp
My whole family loves the pizza from Bartolotti's! My experience with the Friendly Street food truck has always been great but the BellaRoni we ordered last week was particularly superb. It was piping hot and had the perfect combination of ingredients. The employee working there (I feel bad, I didn't catch his name, but he had longish brown hair in a bun?) was really nice and made easy conversation with the customers even though he was obviously busy. Wonderful experience as usual, keep up the great work!
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
I only had chance to try the twists with the tomato dipping sauce. Loved this as did all with me as a small appetizer. Sauce had a fresh and sweet taste - yum
google avatar

Collin S.

Yelp
The guy was a huge jerk to my friends and I don't know why. Needlessly condescending
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Pizza snob from Detroit. Just had a slice, almost perfect. Nice storefront place. Now I know where to get a slice while in town.
google avatar

Shane H.

Yelp
Do you want to reward your taste buds or amaze your salivary glands? If the answer is yes, than the solution is to treat them to Bartolotti's pizza! Order a slice or a whole pie. Either way your taste buds will thank you
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
They were really friendly here. You get a huge piece of pizza! I've been to other places (Sizzle Pie, Pizza Schmizza, etc) that give big slices but this was like a quarter of the pizza, that rocked! They had lots of seating and a nice tent to keep you dry during rainy times. I will be back next time I am in Eugene.

Yelp
Saturday night. I called the cart at 7:37pm to order two pizzas. The guy told me no, it was too late. He could only make me Stromboli because he had cleaned everything up?? Now, I get the guy wanted to go home or go out since it was a Saturday night. But, they close at 8 PM which should mean that is when they quit taking orders and start clean up. It's the weekend! So bummed, but I absolutely love Bartolotti's which is why I still left four stars even though I couldn't get my pizzas. I basically am leaving this review so that the owner can maybe change this "policy" or be aware that he is loosing business at his cart.

Angela R.

Yelp
Best pizza in Eugene and Springfield ! They have really good toppings, excellent thin crust and delicious sauces. They also have great Stromboli, which also aren't too bready, like some other restaurants. We usually go to the Friendly St location, but their Springfield restaurant/pizzeria also has terrific pasta dishes, like their Carbonara, which is the best I've had in the region, and yes, I've tried other Italian restaurants, but Bertolettis is the best. Not big on "atmosphere ", but the food is terrific! (ps, I've lived in Italy )

Yelp
GOOD FOOD, SERIOUSLY RUDE SERVICE. The level of passive-aggressive, don't-want-to-be-here service was off the charts tonight. Knowing the food was good, we didn't mind the pizza chef barely making eye contact or speaking to us. But it was the "host" that did us in. When she wasn't off chatting with her friend/boyfriend, she was barely accommodating all the various needs of the local freaks and geeks hoping to make conversation while ordering. When our pizza hadn't appeared after 35 minutes, they acted surprised that I would dare ask them about it. Then one of them noticed it had been boxed and set atop the oven - 15 minutes earlier, according to my wife. At which point the host lied and said it "had just come out." Which is weird, since it was cold. People who lie about little things will lie about anything. Oh, the pizza. It's good.

Billie M.

Yelp
Great little food cart in south eugene at the friendly street food pod. Cute little vibe they have going on. Slices are huge. Garlic knots are super cheesy!
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
The crust was burnt and dry, there was almost zero tomato sauce, the cheese was rubbery. Maybe I got really old slices since I bought the pizza at the "off hour" of 4pm.

Paul K.

Yelp
The Bartolotti's food truck across the street from Friendly St. Mkt. Has gone downhill. There appears to be no quality control whatsoever. My wife and I used to love the pizza. Now 3 disappointments in a row and I'm not going to go back for a long time. There was a girl working there for awhile several weeks ago who skimped very egregiously with the ingredients and the pizza was so empty of ingredients and flavor it just felt like a rip off. First time I thought it was a fluke; second time I knew it was a pattern. Today we went and there's a new guy working there. We order the "Mars" marjherita pizza. This time got big slices that looked promising. Unfortunately it was a lot of mozzarella that just was chewy like rubber, too little tomato sauce, and *no salt taste all*. Pizza has to have *some* salt flavor in some of the ingredients or it's boring to the bone. Bartolotti's pizza crust never had a lot of salt, it was kind of sweet, but it worked because the other ingredients were good, rich tangy tomato sauce and it was salty enough so it created a balance. Also today the tomato slices were a full 1/4" thick yet only about 2" in diameter so they wanted to just fall off the pizza! Nobody puts tomato that thick on pizza! Plus I'm trying to eat this in the car. I don't need tomato pieces in my lap. They're usually thin so they cook better, lay flat and are easier to eat, and again no salt at all!! S I had a large slice that was rubbery, virtually no flavor. Even the crust was below par. Not only didn't have salt but not even the usual sweetness. So just a lot of calories and no flavor. Waste of time and money. So that's it. I'm not going to risk it again until that place starts getting some quality control and standards again. Not worth the risk. Too big a gamble.

David C.

Yelp
Very greasey, sauce had no flavor, taste like card board. Honestly, pepperoni was swimming in grease. Eugene needs a pizza makeover. majority of the pizza out here is horrible. They need a New Yorker or Chicagoan to open up a true pizza parlor. I'd personal rather get pizza at market of choice then bartolottis.
google avatar

Max S.

Yelp
This is about the Eugene food cart, not the Springfield place. Maybe there was a grumpy employee in the past or something? I've always had very friendly service here. The food is more hit-or-miss. Individual slices are always great in my experience. But I recently tried a couple whole pies, and man, they were skimpy and bland. Like almost no sauce, and just barely enough cheese to qualify as pizza, but no more than that. It makes me sad when a place clearly knows their crust game, but then ruins it by skimping on the rest. I'll keep coming here for a slice (and a cider from Ciderlicious next door) but get my whole pies elsewhere.
google avatar

Rachael W.

Yelp
THE BEST PIZZA IN EUGENE. Seriously, we've tried so many places and this is it. That perfectly thin, crispy crust is amazing. We became so obsessed that this is what we had for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding and everyone loved it. Go here. Have a cider while you wait for your pizza at Ciderlicious. But you may end up eating the whole pizza there because it's THAT good.
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
Very good pizza! Not much on atmosphere but the pizza was delicious. Canolli was pretty good too. I would eat here again. Friendly staff. Interesting menu.

Steve K.

Yelp
Good, not great pizza. Certainly not worth the price. We ordered the Bartolotti, which was supposed to have meatballs, ricotta, roasted garlic and fresh basil. We got a pizza with mozzarella, sausage and roasted garlic. Money is better spent on another local pizza company whose toppings and quality are worth the price.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
The crew at Bartolottis is fantastic! I know that service is important, but service and hospitality are two different things. The honest welcome and "if I would not get it at grandmas I ain't serving it to you" attitude is more than refreshing! Let's talk about the pie! Crust, crust, crust, it is very good. Char my friends needs no explanation it just belongs on the bottom of your pie. Completely solid toppings of high quality that are not heaped on a beautiful pie, but lightly distributed so you do not forget that the Crusty charred goodness is not steamed into, something, well very different. This pizza is legitimate and I recommend it to all that enjoy pie from an artist! The only reason I do not give 5 stars is simple, it's a neighborhood cart.
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
I was underwhelmed. The Izzy and the Stromboli lacked flavor. Confusing pick up if you aren't familiar with the food pavilion.

Terry M.

Yelp
Review of Bartolotti's food cart. Only tried it once, so please balance my assessment with the other reviews. The Friendly Garden food pod was not very busy, yet I had to wait quite a long time for my stromboli, which was of very average quality.

Raffael S.

Yelp
30 dollars for a pizza? I'm I missing something? This is not normal, specially in America where most ingredients are cheap...this is crazy. Please avoid at all cost.

David P.

Yelp
I was there Sunday 6/6 at about 1:15 PM. They only had three slices of pepperoni available despite advertising four kinds. The guy working there was less than friendly. His mask was not covering his mouth or nose despite their "no mask no service" policy, and he used his bare hands to put the pizza in. The pizza was sub par and too greasy.
google avatar

Cynthia G.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place on 2nd and 3rd time ordering at Friendly Street food truck. The very first pizza the Bartolotti was so delish I ordered a 2nd and 3rd time only to be extremely disappointing! Sad face here! I loved the first pizza so much was so happy that I found a real Italian pizza like my grandma Cuzzenzia used to make. The problem with pizza 2 and 3 is the amount of toppings as the meat was extremely sad 2-3 pieces on a large. Toppings where scarce and almost not there. I called to explain not complain and didn't seem to get any real feedback from person on phone! I didn't want money back nor a new pizza both times and was left feeling like my feedback was not taken in the spirit it was meant it to be taken as. I hear that the owner is extremely nice and I don't know if in fact it was the owner I spoke with. This happened about 4 months ago so I doubt he will remember me. So next is the price, I understand products are hard to come by because of the whole shipping deal in the America. I understand that Covid is making things difficult. Please don't skimp on toppings and make us pay such expensive prices and have 2 to 3 pieces of toppings on their pies. Just say we no longer offer those toppings temporarily because of whatever reasons. I have decided after 3 visits not to go to Bartolottis any longer. Tried 3 times and 1 out of 3 times is bad. I will keep searching darn it wanted to love this place. Sorry grandma Cuzzenza thought we found pizza paradise but this place doesn't cut the cheese.
google avatar

Michael U.

Yelp
The pizza is awesome! I'm from nyc and I'll say that it is comparable to the best pizza I've ever had.
google avatar

Jasmine T.

Yelp
Overall, good pizza. You get a generous slice for just $4. I've tried a few different flavors, some are excellent and some are a little bland for me (could use some salt or salty cheese). It's a good, quick bite and goes well with the cider from next door.

Henri H.

Yelp
Visited Bartolotti's with my girlfriend the other day, and I was absolutely impressed. I have been hunting for the perfect slice for years, and have visited most of the Eugene pizza restaurants during my search. I wish that I had become aware of Bartolotti's much earlier in my pizza hunt... Enter the zone of truly f*#^ing awesome pizza. Bartolotti's, a cute little food cart in a lovely little spot in the Friendly Street area. $3.50 for a slice of Cheese, $4 for whatever else is up for slices. Full pies just upward of $20. My girlfriend got two slices of cheese pizza - I had plans to visit another food cart, she wanted pizza and she gets what she wants (of course I tried it!!) - and they were monstrously large. Delicious and fresh tasting tomato sauce, REAL cheese, and the crust was exceptional. Thin, New York style crust that retained its crispyness, not a flimsy, wobbly, soggy mess. Fresh and pure cheese, the crust on point... it was exceptional. I can only imagine that the other pizzas they offer are equally if not more divine. Quite literally the best pizza I have had in Eugene to date. This will be my go-to spot when getting a pizza for a group of friends or just a quick slice when I am feeling hungry. I just wish that they were open later than 9 PM so I could satisfy those 2AM pizza hankerings. Thank you Bartolotti's for delicious pizza at a reasonable price, you guys do it right!
google avatar

Lynn S.

Yelp
Good sauce to cheese ratio, great flavor. The $4 Bellaroni slice was generous. It will be nice when I can enjoy the covered patio. Hopefully that happens soon.
google avatar

Kelsie V.

Yelp
had a pint of cider int the sun/shady part of this makeshift food cart pod and beer stand. quite early Saturday, there was one gal working the cart so she was running back and forth to wait on people and then pour a beer. We just went for the pint but the place was cute. Pizza looked great---those large slices you can fold maybe. small little gem, be prepared to wait a bit, family friendly. My cider: Tieton Apricot, I asked for the drier style My friends got a Boont Amber and Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro Impressed with their eclectic yet relevant selection of draft. Was surprised they offered a nitro out of beer cart.

Candice K.

Yelp
HANDS DOWN the highest quality pizza in Eugene /Springfield area. Be sure to try the cannolis at the Springfield location, it is definitely worth ruining your diet for.
google avatar

Mary H.

Yelp
Best pizza food truck in Eugene. Fine Strombolis too. Come to Friendly Street for a relaxed neighborhood setting. Enjoy great food for the family.

G L.

Yelp
I loved the pizza here I got a Marge slice and a cannoli . Cannoli was really good with the pistachios but I'd like an option with chocolate chips too :)

Not T.

Yelp
I've never had a bad experience eating here, I think the staff and the owner have always been very kind and accommodating. I think it's really sad that people are trying so hard to destroy their reputation based on one sour employee without knowing all the facts. I would still recommend this place.
google avatar

Sue K.

Yelp
Worst cheese pizza that we have ever had. Bread knots were good but a few bites had a super hot spice on them. What a huge wast of a time of money.
google avatar

Kylie D.

Yelp
Stopping here on our way home from the park for a quick slice. Exceptional pizza with unique topping combinations. The slices are HUGE. You'll only need one. It's got a great location for a food truck - free street parking, across from a small market, quiet neighborhood. The seating is a couple picnic tables in the shade. He did open about 15 minutes late, which wouldn't have bothered me except the kids were hungry and we showed up right at noon.
google avatar

Ron R.

Yelp
Decent Pie! Not 5 star pie, but good. That is hard to find in Eugene. The crust is fantastic but the sauce is a little mild for my taste. I'm going to have to try the Stromboli and the brunch from here some time to see if that is where all the hype is coming from. My wife and I stopped real fast to grab a couple slices and shortly after sitting down we got a call and had to leave right away. My wife went to get some sort of a to-go container (like a small box etc) and we got the impression they really didn't want to give anything up. Basically had to beg for a piece of tinfoil and it was so small we had to ask for another. Just odd in my opinion.

Phee F.

Yelp
Great NY Style pizza! Super fresh and giant slices. Highly recommend for a gourmet palette or family get together.
