We stopped by here to use a Groupon offer and we loved it! The place is a dream location to watch sports and have a drink. TV’s everywhere, playing multiple games from different sports. The craft burgers were huge and absolutely delicious. Fries were nice and crisp. The waitress/bartender was a sweetheart. She was patiently explained how to use the Groupon and did an excellent job with drink recommendations. We went as a family in the early evening but looks like a great place to hang out with friends for drinks!

Went on a Saturday, it was empty but the food was so good. Got shrimp tacos, the surf and turf, the fried pickles and a fish bowl. Everything was amazing. Came back to look for something and on Sunday’s it’s a whole day party vibe. It was turnt, it was lit and I will definitely be back.

I was impressed with the remodel since the last time I was here. The bar is really nice. The while place seems to have really opened up and the vibe is super cool! No happy hour here but heard about tequila Tuesdays!!! All tequila is half priced. So I ordered some wings lemon pepper cause that's my favorite and I like them to be crispy so... well done. They were ok...a little too much seasoning so I was happy to have the ranch to help cut the salt. Was very disappointed in the celery and carrots. It would have been better to leave it off the plate. My husband ordered the sliders and those were excellent!!! Had a few beers and enjoyed the big projector screen... so huge and clear. So all in all I'd come back and try again. The atmosphere is awesome and the people working were super sweet! 4 stars only because the various and celery and no happy hour.

Stopped here to watch a little bit of some football. They have a lot of TVs so perfect with that, the food was real good. Ordered pulled pork sliders 10/10 and a steak salad 8/10. Had some fatty parts in the steak was hard to chew. The waitress was not my favorite. She brought the sliders and then I had to tell her to get my salad 10 min after our sliders. Also I saw her go upstairs for a while as i waited for my food. So that was a miss. Atmosphere was ok, sticky tables, our seats were a bit sunken in. Total was 41$. Only had water

What is everyone eating!?! This place is awful! We had a Groupon for a couple burgers and brew...so glad we did not pay full price! The burgers were dry and absolutely, totally BLAND! It went through me quick and I threw it up later. The bartender/waitress wasn't even going to ask how we wanted the burgers she was just going to put the order into the kitchen. Overall....skip. Chili's has a WAY better burger!

Really nice place! I like remodelling and vibe but bartenders were constantly staring at the phones and didn’t pay any attention to us. Cocktails were awful as well as their attitude. Instead of whiskey sour we got whiskey with Minute Maid lemonade. Glass was dirty Yes, it happened tonight. I don’t want to be rude or mean. Service on Tuesday was perfect and a girl who was serving us was great ( I believe her name Any or Amy). But tonight’s shift disappointed me. Two girls were pretending they didn’t see us when we had empty glasses and looked at them. Nobody came up Plus we asked to close out check and we are still waiting, around 10 min when your bartenders are taking shots instead of serving you

Fun time for dancing and enjoying good music. Can be packed sometimes but there is good roomy upstairs and bar is usually open up there. Fun time regardless and bartenders tend well.

First time here I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was came here to watch the Niner game. This is a cool little bar It's small intimate. It has the upstairs and a downstairs the drinks were really good and the service was really good. I would definitely come back.

We frequently visit this spot to watch Niners and Warriors games. They offer breakfast and lunch. The bartenders and servers are enjoyable. There are many TVs and a large screen.

We came here as we had a concert to attend to very nice bartenders food and service was great the burger was so delicious as well as the fries very cozy place to sit back and relax would definitely recommend

10/10 recommend on a weeknight, great vibes, not rowdy, good drinks. If you catch Tasha as your bartender, you are WINNING !!!! She delivers the best service and even better drinks. Will be back again and again for every game/fight they show.

I visited Bar West recently and had an overall great experience! We arrived around 1:30 PM, just in time for their bottomless mimosas deal for $14 until 2 PM--a fantastic bargain. After about three mimosas, I was feeling a little tipsy, so they definitely get the job done! Later, I ordered a few mixed drinks and shots, which were equally enjoyable and well-made. For food, I tried the chicken tenders and nachos. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender inside--and came with a side of fries. My friend had the chicken club sandwich and thought it was delicious. However, the nachos were a mixed bag. Two of my friends ordered them and were surprised by the portion size, which is big enough to share. While the flavors were good, the toppings felt haphazardly thrown on top, with not enough cheese evenly distributed. They had to request extra cheese, and for an additional $4 the meat was a bit cold and chewy. It would've been better if the nachos were better presented or if some of the toppings were served on the side. Though I did not get to try their entire brunch menu. I would like to come back and give that a go! Another friend ordered sliders, but unfortunately, they didn't come with fries. When they ordered fries separately, the serving size was very generous--easily sharable. Unfortunately I didn't get to snap a photo of every dish but will try to get some more in next time. We visited on a game day, and the atmosphere was lively but not too crowded until about 3:30 PM. they have tv's everywhere so you're not missing out on anything! I also learned that the venue turns into a nightclub later in the evening, which I didn't get to experience yet. The service was excellent, with attentive staff checking in regularly. While the food was enjoyable but not amazing (I'd rate it 3/5), the overall experience--thanks to the drinks, service, and ambiance--deserves a solid 4/5 stars. I had a fun time and I would definitely return!

Had a Groupon for this place. Extremely empty during lunch. Plenty of seating surrounding the bar and had space upstairs too. Parking was pretty easy to find for midtown. The burgers and onion rings were good just on the smaller size but excellent for bar food.

the one time my friends & i tried to go, they denied us entry because of my bf's shoes. he was wearing jordans which weren't allowed in during days there's djs. i found that stupid considering they were expensive shoes & people with like $60 converse could be let in. i hear their dress code is a lot stricter from other places. i'm still willing to give them another chance but don't come here if you're looking for a casual night out

Came back again of course, our server for the day was Sierra she was very nice and had quick service she gave us water before we even asked i loved that!!! she recommended different draft beers and was just amazing, the food was so delicious we had hamburgers and fries along with some draft beers and lemon pepper wings they were tasty as usual the fries needed no dipping sauce was crunchy and flavorful on it's own the hamburger was so yummy we had a wonderful time we will definitely be back.

Always a good time at Barwest. It's a great downtown spot to watch sports and meet up with friends for drinks and food. The servers aren't just there for their looks, they actually care about service and do a damn good job at it. The wings here are really good. I plan on trying their lemon pepper next time I'm here. The buffalo flavored wings were top notch and chicken had a great crisp to it. The fries were perfect and I'd go back just for those. Plenty of beers on tap as well as TV's to watch any sport. Location is king and this spot has an awesome one. Keep up the great work Barwest!

DON'T GO HERE. THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION. My friend fainted at the bar, and the security guard asked her to leave because she was "drunk." We couldn't even get the food that we purchased because we were asked to leave. The security guard saw me helping my friend and asked why I didn't go back inside to get the food we ordered. Am I supposed to leave my friend that's FAINTING??? We were fine with leaving, but there was no empathy from security - they were dismissive of the situation. No hate towards the bartender or anything, they were very sweet and nice. But security needs to learn that in these serious situations, you need to at least ASK or give that person water. We were lucky nothing happened, but holy - what a miserable way to treat someone. Please train your security properly.

They were new on the delivery app - so decided to give it a try. Burgers were overcooked. Onion rings didn't seem freshly made. Wings were not crispy enough. A good location for larger groups to hang out & enjoy a game.

Friend invited me to her Bday party and Barwest was the place. The environment was great lots of space also has a huge dance floor upstairs with a huge bar the drinks were good the bar service was fast and good drinks were point. The music and service was very good and I really enjoyed myself and my friends loved it. Good security I saw no trouble just fun and danced the whole night. I recommend this place. People were fun

This place has the best lemon pepper steppas aka Lemon Pepper chicken wings in the whole city hands down!! That's including taste and the size of the wings !! I normally get them breaded but they are delicious naked too!! The staff is always soo polite and good looking as well hahaha the bartenders Be on point too especially during the day time !! Oh and they have half off all tequila on Tuesdays and i mean every tequila top shelf to bottom the new smash burgers are absolutely mouthwatering !! Hadn't been to Barwest in ages and that was too long. Had their Barwest Burger, fries and the fried pickles to start. All I can say is that the combo of tastes blew my mind. Everything came out piping hot and absolutely delicious. The presentation and service was also perfect. I enjoyed all of this during their Happy Hour. I highly recommend you try this for yourself. You will not leave disappointed.

I spend money for good food and good service and Barwest has good food. Our bartender Sarah was amazing! Love her! My group came to watch the Kings game on a Saturday night, more girls arrived after the game to drink and chill. We all sat at the bar near the front windows that connected to the outside patio. Our Chairs were removed around 9:30pm as it turned into a very crowded night club. We left around midnight after several others in our group were denied entry due to wearing sports attire/jordans. Food was surprisingly tasty. Lemon pepper wings 10/10, burger sliders 10/10, fried pickles 10/10, fries 10/10. Cocktails were not as great as they look - the pineapple jalapeño margarita, disco ball and mule were just ok. We had lots of tequila and vodka shots after that. The punchbowl $37 was delicious and can be shared so order this instead.

This is a great spot to watch football. Huge TV screen great drinks and food. our server was Karla she gave great service and was super helpful.

This truly elevated our evening after visiting multiple places before and being let down. Top notch service. Great atmosphere. Delicious food and tasty cocktails. Came here as one of the bars on a pub crawl over the weekend.......Not going to lie. I was taken aback when the bartender made my boyfriend and I pay BEFORE she made our drinks. Emkay. Our order was $21 gave her $25 which I was going to round up for the tip but felt some type of way when she proceeded to put my change in her bra EMKAY! Now I will say she did eventually say oh and proceed to give me the change no no that was yours. Now with all of this said, I sat and did a double check around the room and my boyfriend and I were legit the ONLY people she carded AND made pay BEFORE she made drinks. Hmmm she did ask a few people for their wristbands. Not even mad about being asked to show ID, but why were we the ONLY people that had to PAY before this bartender made our drinks. Fast forward to the couple next to us I happened to overhear them bring up the fact that she wasn't carding anybody else in the packed bar and her acting clueless. So of course I spoke up and said well you actually also ONLY carded us AND made US pay BEFORE we got our drinks. I watched you the last 10 minutes. Of course cue her asking what we were trying to say? She didn't know what we were talking about blah blah pretty sure she would have threw in some tears if the guy didn't start apologizing and saying he wasn't trying to say anything simply asking. Anywho maybe take an implicit bias tests cause this chick definitely ONLY asked the four of us in the 10-20minutes I watched her after the weird interaction in the beginning. Anyhow the ambiance was nice but I would never return if this lady was our server and this interaction soured the mood for a bit

If you're looking for a brunch spot and somewhere to watch Sunday football, this is the spot! Me and my friend came on a Sunday around 10:30AM and there were already a good group of people around the bar in their jerseys. I got the Bananas Foster French Toast. The french toast itself was great, and stayed a good texture doused in the syrup. I wish the bananas were less of a mushy texture. And the heap of whipped cream was too much for me. I would definitely come back though and try their other options. I'm also wanting to try their fish bowl drinks.

Ambiance: 5/5 super cute. Recently remodeled so everything looked lively Service: 3/5 sat at the bar and was given water and menus but felt a little rushed. We were given the check right after we ordered. The second bar tender was super nice but we were only checked on once after receiving food because we were already cashed out. Food: 3/5 I got the nachos which were fine. Good portion but not anything I'd come back for. My friend got the chicken tenders which were hand breaded and she said they were really good so might try those if I come back. The prices are kinda expensive on top of that you get taxed an area improvement fee that the city implemented. It's not a lot but still a pain I know they can't control that but their prices I'd say are about $5 more than other places in the area. Might give them another try but for now sticking with 3 stars.

The bottomless mimosa was a hit for a lot of the bar tenders The food order is not done in an efficient time. The service is very selective of the Parton they serve. I'd checking mandatory even after entry. No much space when the upstairs is reserved out and not a lot of sitting area. The tvs are many btw

This is my #1 sport destination and the previous #1 destination for BONELESS WING in the world... but you've decided to remove them from the menu. Freals? I'm shook at the low overall stars/reviews rating for Barwest Midtown. I have had a total of 2 visits to BWM once for drinks with my hubby and another visit with friends for brunch for Sunday Funday - both times I've had a good, positive, fun experience and I would highly recommend Barwest Midtown to friends and family. How's the food menu you ask?! Welps, they offer a lot of good, yummy options. For Brunch because I was hungover (LOL) I ordered the Birria Fries and Mini Slider Burgers. Hubby ordered the Birria Benedict, my fiends ordered the Avocado Toast and so much more goodies! Peep my pictures, and while they don't do justice trust when I say the food here is yummy *thumbs up ! While they do offer an outdoor seating area, I wish they had heat lamps because it can get chilly outside. The vibe inside is fun and clean. Service is quick, shout out to Samantha and Presley, all nice people. If you haven't tried this place yet, don't write it off just yet because of the low star rating. It's a cool spot.

Came here Saturday night to watch the kings game. Lively atmosphere with plenty of TVs on the walls and above the bar. Had a well cocktail which was $9. Nice comfy barstools with backs on them (which I appreciate). The outdoor patio looks out onto J street and seemed nice but it was a little too cold to sit there tonight. Next time I go I'm going to get a fishbowl cocktail!

I have gone here multiple time and music is good and vibes are fun but getting in here is ridiculous. Security is very hostile the second you question anything and this has happened on multiple occasions of security being defensive over anything. Women can get away with most things but are super strict with men. They let my female cousin and auntie in with Jordans and then stopped my brother with Jordan's.

You don't expect great food at a bar but this one has it!! Birria tacos and birria fries!!! What?! And they are delicious and filling! The wings were perfect and the salsa and guacamole were fantastic! The drinks are perfect and extremely reasonable! The service was great on this day as I was pretty much the only one in there! The Ambiance is clean, very comfortable, nice decor, and millions of TVs to watch any game!

Had a good time here. Drinks were a little expensive and the cover charge was too, I feel like anyway. The drinks were alright considering the price. I enjoy the fact that they had two dance floors, with two different music vibes so if I didn't like the music on the top floor, then I would just go to the bottom floor and vice versa. They played pretty decent music that kept everybody dancing. Will definitely come back again.

Don't sleep on BW when it comes to mid town! From football games to girls night out, they have something for everyone. Wanted to give a shout out to the bar staff there too. The Manager Sara went above and beyond to make me a drink they didn't have on the menu and even came up later to see how it was! I'm really impressed by the menu too. From steak and shrimp to xl burgers, you can get all your wants/needs. The wings are always a good go to... Same with the fish bowl's! Do yourself a favor and go there next date night and thank me later!

The TV screen is awesome. I watched a soccer game there with a group of 10 of my friends and we all had a great view of the screen. Good and drinks are good too.

Had the Birria Fries and the chicken taquitos so delicious! Paired with a cider and good company can never go wrong with the happy hour specials. Definitely will be back! The bartender was also very pleasant. 5/5

Went to barwest for a college football game. Asked my bartender Emily to order my meal for me since I didn't know what t order and she didn't disappoint. Food was good, drinks were good, service was great. Will come again

Dishonest place, money grabbing place! Charged me full price for beer when it was on happy hour during happy hour according to their site :. Attached screenshots. I even tipped her 18%, had to rush out but took receipts like I usually do. Check the time stamps on the receipts to their menu. Paid full price for hazy IPA but according to their website my second beer lagunitas, IPA was supposed to be happy hour price. But the waitress charged me full price price and never mentioned happy hour when I was there 4pm to 5pm ish on a weekday. Do not go there, if you do, check the menu and your bill, if you can't rely on them during happy hour then you can't rely on them at all.

The bar staff is incredible. Sierra, Delayney, & Presley are top notch. They make the customer experience far more enjoyable than any other sports bar. The food, specifically the dragonfire wings, are something I wish my wings place back home had! 10/10 would recommend.

The security at the entrance let multiple girls go ahead of us in line because they had slept with Barwest employees (they admitted this). Once our group got to the front, a male member in our group was rejected for wearing Nike airforces and was reprimanded when questioning this arbitrary policy. The security thinks they're hot shit and get pressed when anyone questions their nonsensical policies. They enforce policies unfairly against males. Hope they go bankrupt soon!

I cannot attest to there food, this review is based on the nighttime service. The first time me and my friend & my boyfriend attempted to go we were turned away because of the dress code (no Jordan's). The only issue with this is, the rule does not apply to everyone. I can't say it's based on race, they literally just pick and choose who has to follow dress code. The second time me and my friend decided to go was fine. The ambiance was nice, they played pretty decent music but it can get busy in there. The hours say open until 2am which means 1:30am but they kicked everyone closer to 1am. They were rude when kicking everyone out, telling folks they can't even stand on the sidewalk after kicking us out so abruptly to wait for our ride. The third time we went went was 10/26 for a comp booth they reached out to give me for my birthday. We arrived to the booth check in line before 11:05, we were late arriving after the check in time of 10:30 pm, but before the grace period. We waited to get checked in which they were not tending to our line, focusing solely on general admission. They finally made it to us and it was a short Asian mind who was kind and helpful letting us know that it was after the grace period but would see what can be done. Here comes this rude (unprovoked) big white male stating he doesn't care if we were in line (the one they neglected) that we weren't actually checked in so they sold the booth. He stated we can get in for free which we decided to do since we didn't want to pay anywhere else. Very crowded due to halloween, there were only 3 bartenders since most were recently fired for participating in drugging people's drinks, which caused service to be slow. The liquor was either watered down or switched out because it tasted different then the real bottles and didn't have much affect. The dj this time was terrible unfortunately. He played a lot of Latin songs back and hip hop was mixed in. Looking around a large population in the establishment did not like the dj's choice of music. A young crowd so if your looking for folks to buy drinks with out discrimination you can go to the blue cue right around the corner.

I won a free complimentary table and bottle. The only think we had to do was pay for tip. Upon arrival I had mentioned to the hostess that the table was under my name. However when we were brought up to our table non of the service girls had address me nor even asked who's table it was. Instead they asked my friends which bottle we wanted and they told them to ask me. Another service girl came to charge the card but again only addressed my friends which was embarrassing since I was taking them out. I'm not sure if I wasn't dressed up to par for their standards but it didn't make me feel welcomed. Usually I get tables at social and they have the best service. I had told them we wanted tequila and normally at other clubs they ask if you're ready for the bottle to be brought up. Barwest didn't ask and my party wasn't all together but they brought the bottle out. I heard that the daytime food is good, so we will definitely be back to try that out.

It's a sports bar that gets all the key stuff right. I play in the cornhole league here every Thursday. Huge screens for games, comfortable seats. Good service. The bar food is well above average. Top 10 fries I've ever had. The taquitos are a steal at $8. Full bar with a good selection. Medium sized spot so big but not TOO big. Also we love the bartender Sarah. She treats us like family.

Went a few nights ago. Door girl was very nice and our bartender Chris upstairs was awesome!! he had a really cool vibe and was very chill. upstairs was less busy but the bathroom line was long. Music was good and drinks were tasty. definitely coming back.
