"BarZotto is back in a slightly different form. But the menu still leans heavily on Italian comforts, including a light and refreshing spritz. The Motto Guzzi spritz blends bitter Cocchi Americano and herbal Cappelletti with orange and prosecco or opt for the Garden Spritz, built on a base of chardonnay and aperitif with rosemary and lemon." - Dianne de Guzman

"Barzotto is a unique counter service restaurant because it can even pull off a date night. The atmosphere — plenty of marble tables for two — is just right, and so are the toothsome pastas and heartier main dishes like a killer porchetta. Mark Sotto (former director of operations for Adriano Paganini) and chef Michelle Minori (previously executive chef at the restaurant group behind Flour + Water) opened Barzotto last summer in the former, full-service St. Vincent space. It's a good example of the city's new crop of higher-end, fast-casual restaurants emphasizing food over service to keep down sky-high costs. The wine list is reasonable too: All glasses are $10 and all bottles are $40." - Stefanie Tuder, Ellen Fort, Caleb Pershan

Italian restaurant in the middle of Valencia, menu is quite short, but have really good options. Felt the pasta (spaghetti) and meatballs were a little bit more spicy than it should be. Their bread is amazing, highly recommend. Their patio outside is perfect for sunny days.

Been wanting to eat here for over a year until finally! Finally! They finally reopened and they did not disappoint. Everything was so good. From starters, to the pasta, and finally the star of the show- the porchetta! Really fresh pasta, brightly flavored sauce and amazing meatballs. Porchetta was seasoned in all the right places and had the perfect crunch for the crispy skin. Definitely worth another visit.

This location is not the restaurant in the pictures of the review…it’s now in a massive a ‘cloud kitchen’ in an industrial part of San Francisco (the same address as shown in this listing). I arrived to pick up my food and was surprised that it was a massive cloud kitchen (I was expecting the restaurant in the pictures of other reviews). There were delivery drivers scurrying in and out. No problem - I was expecting good food, but what I got was terrible. I ordered the spicy Bucatini pasta and it came out mild and stale like it had been sitting in a large tray for hours. Maybe the cloud kitchen uses its own staff to try to cook the recipes from this restaurant, I don’t know… I was extremely disappointed and paid $30 for pasta that I wouldn’t have paid $5 for at a smorgasbord buffet. Very very disappointed.

This restaurant is incredible. You cannot miss out on the Smoked Berkshire pork chop, it was the best chop I’ve ever had and I never order pork chop. So tender, so juicy. The pasta is cooked to perfection.

I really like this place; the quality of their pastas, their sauces and combinations. You order at the counter and then sit down and your food will arrive shortly after. My complaint would be that it is very very expensive. You would think that you are saving a little with this method of service but in the end the only thing you save is the tip. ( even though we always give a tip at the cashier, but at least you can give 10% instead 20)

Had an early dinner here and we were impressed with both of the pasta dishes we ordered. Definitely order the Extra Long Noodle -that sauce is divine with just the right amount of kick. Little Queens is not your typical bolognese- creamy, decadent and full of texture! Will revisit to try the other pastas for sure.

Came here for lunch 4 years ago. This time did dinner, which was very good. Small place, but excellent food, reasonable priced. Got the Raddicio salad, some nice crunchy bits. Also went with the spaghetti and meatballs. Almost perfect sauce, great meatballs. Perfect portion, not too big. Had to get the panna Cotta desert. Melt in your mouth. Valencia street fun people watching.

I found a short black hair in my food; I have long brown hair, so I was pretty certain it wasn't mine. After pointing it out to the waiter, I got a new bowl of pasta, and it was delicious. The waitstaff is super prompt and friendly, and the food is to die for. I got the shells with lemon garnish because I wanted something lighter. The lemon on top complimented the pasta perfectly. It was a beautiful blend of acidity and tomato sauce. I drove 45ish minutes to get there and spent 20 minutes trying to park. I almost got a ticket and had to pay $10 just to park my car. But, it was all totally worth it. I plan on dragging my friends and family here in the very near future so they too can experience this amazing place.
