Base Bar

This place is super cool! It’s a bar way in the back near a budge of local vendors and food trucks. The vibe is chill and service good. They greeted us immediately as we sat down. 10/10 recommend.

I saw this place on tik tok and wanted to try it out. I’m not sure if all these reviews are fake or what, upon arrival it’s a huge area full of food trucks all cram-packed in. KIDS were everywhere, the bar was tiny and the bartenders barely spoke English. They over charged me and kept making me think it was “ tax “ when the tax was added at the end. Agusto was the manager, after asking for him he started saying he didn’t speak English. He was rude and was very creepy with the female employee. This place wont last unless it’s a laundering scheme.

This place is the perfect spot to have fun with the best customer service, the bartenders and waitress make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need to have the best time ever. I would totally recommend this option to bring your friends and make this your favorite spot for every weekend

Attended a concert. Very nice, outdoor but covered space. Drinks were good though a bit pricey. Worked well for the concert.

DO NOT COME HERE… They tried to overcharge me, the table next to us had the same issue… funky business… typical behavior in South America. Go wherever else.

Was wainting for drinks at the bar For about 30 minutes only 2 people at the bar they need better customer service they called wilson idk if he was the manager i ask they told me he wasnt there they need to get it together

Very chill Latin bar in an area with a bunch of food trucks. Nestled in Katy it’s a cool vibe for the area.

This place is hidden behind fusion bar and Grill in KATY. It's off of Mason Road although it has a Mason Road address. I stopped in today after seeing the lights last night and found this little gem hidden in the back. It looks like a Caribbean destination bar so I had a piña colada. I actually had two piña coladas. Service was great although I was there when it first opened I very much like the spot. I will definitely come back again and enjoy.

I would rate this below a 0. They will scam you, the owner is incredibly rude and weird with his staff.. There was little kids running around everywhere outside.. Tik tok made this place look amazing but ... lies. Sadly. Especially if you don't speak Spanish.. they will treat you terrible.

If I could give negative stars I would! We tried ordering at the bar but were sent back to our table as we were told a waitress would attend us. We then waited 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order then over 30 minutes to get what we actually ordered which was three mixed drinks and two boiling hot water bottles. The bottles were near deteriorating I'm not even exaggerating. You would think with this Texas heat they would have cold waters ready! I would understand if the place was packed but the place was not packed at all. Staff was busy chit chatting and waitress were standing around. So there's no reason to have us waiting so long for three drinks and hot waters. The waitress did not even apologize for the wait or give an explanation. The drinks are also not made how they are advertised on another yelpers review or how they are being advertised on instagram food reviews which is what made us want to come in the first place. The other yelp review shows a nice glass cup for the mixed drink and the instagram review shows a nice glass margarita cup. Instead we were served on three small plastic cups they usually use at all inclusive resorts. If there is a time they cut off on giving out glass cups how it's advertised we should be told or stayed somewhere in the menu that there is a cutoff time. My friend tried to ask the reasoning behind this but the waitress would not give a solid answer and instead would walk away for more than 15 minutes at a time. Also it's not like we showed up near closing time, we arrived there at 10 pm. I believe that is not a late arrival time since the bar does close at 2am. We finally just asked for the tab, because it was not an enjoyable experience at all. They do have food trucks before you enter the bar, they were helpful and kind at each respective food truck although the food was not the best at least the customer service was up to par. I'm not one to leave reviews but this bar customer service was just terrible. If you want a nice looking outdoor bar with terrible customer service this is your place .
