This is a really cute hidden spot. It's mostly outdoor patio, but there is some seating on the inside. There are menus on the door as you enter, you need to figure out what you want before going to the counter. It's a decent size menu given that the location is quaint. The food is American style with a dash of Latin influence. The drinks are a whole other thing, quite the variety if you want something basic or alcoholic. A myriad of coffee drinks, teas, and Frapps. On the alcohol side... they have beer, wine, and a few cocktails. I very much enjoyed the ambiance, I went in the middle of the day on a week day. The area was spacious although there were a decent amount of patrons around. It was a relaxed environment with a nice vibe. Definitely going back.

Basecamp Dinette is a homey and inviting spot in Burbank, perfect for a delicious and satisfying meal. I recently tried the Avocado toast and Bagel salmon Lox dishes, and they were both fantastic! The latte was also delicious and the perfect complement to my meal. The restaurant has a cozy and funky decor, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and enjoy excellent service and great food. I highly recommend it!

I was recommended this spot by a friend and so glad I stopped by. It's in a fantastic location with plenty of street parking. The food was amazing! I had the Quinoa Eggs Benedict 😋 and a latte. The space has fun vibes and it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I can't wait to go back!

Google
While I do not reccomend Scouts Honor BBQ, I absolutely reccomend Basecamp Dinette. Their coffee and breakfast offerings have never disappointed. The food is a little pricey but it's delicious and I often find myself taking home leftovers. Great ambience and you might even see a few horses trotting by if you're lucky!

Google
Cute little spot. Food was decent - their chocolate croissant and breakfast burrito were good. French toast was ok, I don't eat maple syrup so it was a little dry, but the fresh fruit was nice. Their coffee was not good and the reason for only giving 3 stars overall. Paid $5 for an 8 oz cup of sour coffee.

I come here for they breakfast plate with pancakes, eggs, hash browns and bacon. Lovely staff. They have fresh pastries and seasonal drinks that are fun to try. Follow my foodie journey on IG @jasmynisabel & TT @sazondiaries ✨

Google
Super chill spot with a lot of outdoor friendly that is dog friendly. And horses nearby, too! Generous portions with very reasonable prices. The (Soy) Chorizo Skill was nicely spiced and a LOT of food. Considering split it next time. And there will be a next time!

My friends and I go here almost every week for breakfast, and it never fails. There is something very comforting and cozy about this place. It is first come, first serve so if you have a big party get there early. There is outdoor seating that allows your furry friends to dine with you.

Yelp
Great food, amazing atmosphere and air. Had an amazing brunch with my family and kids.

Yelp
Don't sleep on the dirty chai latte! I'm Not a chai latte kind of person but base camp is the only place I get this. I'm usually a coffee latte ordered, but not here! It's great! Their food is great as well! The outdoorsy adventure ambience is one of my faves!

Yelp
This is a very cute place with primarily outside seating, but there are some seats inside. Order up at the counter and the food will be served to you at your table. I ordered an Americano, it was not as hot as I believe it should've been. I thought I'd try something different and ordered the lavender waffle which came with lavender butter and lavender syrup, topped with chicken sausage. The sausage was good, the waffle was nothing special, lavender butter was just OK and the syrup-I'm not sure what it was made out out of, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. Their pastries looked beautiful. I might go back and try one.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place because it has such a cool vibe. I live close by and have always heard great things about it. My partner and I walk past it often on Riverside Dr. We went about a year ago and the food was not great. It was kinda pricey for what I got. I decided to go back today with my partner. It wasn't busy at all. Ordered a breakfast burrito and a Beyond Sausage BBQ sandwich. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive while others who came after us...got their food at the same time. Our food came out cold which tells me it was sitting in the kitchen for awhile. We sent it back and they said they'd remake it. That also took too long so I decided to get a refund on my sandwich. The counter person couldn't do it. There was no management on the premises until the next day and I didn't want to come back. I ended up getting a gift card for the price of my sandwich...which I will give away to someone else.... NOTE TO THE OWNER/MANAGER: Having been to your establishment twice, the food needs improvement...it's just not very good. My BBQ sandwich didn't come with the BBQ on the Beyond Sausage, it was on the side in a little plastic container....terrible presentation. Please have your staff bring out food in a timely manner before it gets cold. I just can't recommend this to anyone.

Yelp
I arrived here after a long trip and was extremely hungry. If you're planning to visit, be prepared to wait a little for the food, but it's definitely worth it. The burger was delicious, and the fries were incredibly tasty and crunchy. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating and how it was arranged.

Yelp
We had driven around this area a few times but never noticed Basecamp Dinette until we saw it on Yelp. This a cute brunch place with a few outdoor seating areas. Location/decor/ambiance: 5/5 Parking: 4/5 Food: 3/5 (my buttermilk waffles were delicious and a good portion. I tried the coffee and breakfast croissant/hash browns and they were ok. The coffee had a bitter/sour aftertaste.) Service: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall, we enjoyed the vibe of this location a little more than the food but may come back occasionally if we are in the area.

Yelp
3% Credit Card Surcharge!?! Was looking at my receipt, and noticed that this place sneaks in a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. No signs or notices indicating it, but just snuck in. The food was good, and I also added a blueberry smoothie that was quite good. The smoothie was not overly sweet, so I would definitely get it again. The location is great if you are in the Burbank area and driving by. Parking lot is really small, but there is also some street parking in the residential area. I stopped by to give it a try because it is on the aa dining website, so was worth getting a couple aa miles with the purchase (however you have to use a credit card to do so). Breakfast burrito was good, and they have the special on Tuesdays I think. Ambiance is very casual, and the beers looked good. Wanted to have one, so maybe an option for the weekend or after work!

Yelp
Good food, friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking in the lot or street (just read the street signs). Loved their orange peel latte and their skillet breakfast!

Yelp
Basecamp is a cute neighborhood brunch spot. There's BBQ offered from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. but since I stopped by in the morning hours, I wasn't able to try it out. I shared a breakfast croissant sandwich with my wife and it was just ok. The croissant was soggy and a bit dense from the collapsed layers of pastry dough, but the bacon egg omelette inside was light and fluffy. For my beverage, I got their house coffee, which came piping hot and brewed strongly. My wife's horchata latte with warm foam floated on top was not too sweet and had plenty of horchata flavor. In addition to sharing the breakfast sandwich, I also ordered a cinnamon roll. Unlike your typical cinnamon roll, this one felt like a cross between a croissant (or a Kouign-amann) and a cinnamon roll. The crust on the outside of the cinnamon roll is super flakey, unlike the croissant I had. There's a lot of frosting on top, so if you don't have a sweet tooth, it will definitely be on the sweet side. I would definitely stop by again to try some of their other entree, like their chilaquiles and BBQ.

Yelp
hit up this place for a takeout dinner - should've ordered ahead but I didn't plan that well. ;) Food came out about 5-10 minutes after ordering. I got the: "Camper Salad $13.99 Smoked tri-tip, mixed greens, romaine, black beans, roasted corn, tomatoes, jicama slaw, cheddar cheese, crispy tortilla strips, side of signature BBQ sauce & ranch dressing." Tri-tip was cooked perfectly, with a kick to the rub. I'm not normally a big fan of jicama, but this salad worked well together. BBQ sauce was good for the meat, and I skipped the salad dressing for the greens. Would return here to try other things!

Yelp
Found parking in their lot luckily but next time I might automatically park on the street. Super nostalgic in that campy kitsch kind of way. I loved the welcoming feeling the space gave off. Staff was friendly and helpful as we created a line deciding who would pay. Self seating inside and out. I ordered a steak salad and it tasted significantly better than it looked. Meat was seasoned well. My gf loved her veggie burger so much she showed me the pretty colors of the patty and the fries- they were all eaten. Definitely would come back again.

Yelp
This place is honestly great. They have great food variety, especially since you can order anything from coffee/light breakfast items to bbq (they have a place with a smoker attached to their lot). The service is as good as it can get for a place like this. I've tried a majority of their salads and have also tried their burritos, and barbecue. The pricing is decent as well. The coffee and latte's they offer are alright and is available throughout the times that they are open unlike some of their menu items. I believe they offer a breakfast menu, lunch menu, and so on. Their location is great; it offers limited parking but it's not their fault they have so many people trying to park! They offer indoor and outdoor seating and when I tell you it's great.. like you won't find a lot of quaint places like this that offer THIS much seating. I'm usually able to find a spot to just relax and study, so it's pretty cool. I recommend stopping by. They're great.

Yelp
How am I just finding out about this place? I have been living and doing business in this area for so many years and never heard of this place until I was visiting a client across the street from this dinette. I parked right in front of it and of course I had to go in and check it out. I ordered a cold brew with milk and loved it. Also got myself the last chocolate croissant which was absolutely delicious. I was told they usually have a lot of freshly baked goods but they sell them pretty fast. I guess I walked in late. They have a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, salads etc. I was not hungry to eat at the time I was here but I made a mental note to come back and try their food soon. Everything sounded and looked good when I looked around in peoples plates. lol Lots of outdoor seating, cute decor and great customer service. I can't wait to come back.../

Yelp
Cool little neighborhood coffee shop. Gets busy in the mornings, especially on weekends. I like that they give the option to have coffee served in a mug still as I have gone to several that only serve in paper cups, like The Palm Coffee Bar on Magnolia. Although, their coffee mugs are on the smaller side because they are thick and taper to the bottom. A little deceiving because as we sat waiting on our food, after a few sips we were almost done with our lattes. Had to pause so that we would have some during the meal.

Yelp
I love the coffee and if you're there in the morning for breakfast...when the place is hopping it's great. But I've came late afternoon twice and the food is horrible. Both times food was cold and the service was slow regardless of only a handful of customers around. If you love good coffee go...food...go at your own risk knowing breakfast time is great but afternoon is not. So weird.

Yelp
When we got there we were impressed with how charming it looked and couldn't believe he had never been before! My chai latte was delicious: but then the food came and everything went downhill. The French toast was like old bread with corn syrup on it. It was practically inedible--literally tasted like dry bread. The avocado toast was just avocado and lemon sliced on bread with some onions and arugula. It was edible, but it was not particularly good. My husband's burrito was also not good--I'm not even sure how you can screw up a breakfast burrito, but it was disappointing. We all agreed we would not go back.

Yelp
Interesting find here at 'Basecamp Dinette,' Burbank, CA., this past week, but it's not my usual type of place to get any writing done because the indoor lighting was too dark. I was trying to get into the writing mood, but that failed to work due to the dimming lights this coffee shop displayed the night I visited them. Perhaps if I tried another visit during the day, that would work, but the overall ambiance just wasn't quite the right fit for me. I also had a bit of trouble finding the actual door to the cafe since there were two sides of this business. It wasn't quite clear which side was actually open for business, so I thought they could have posted, 'This way please?' I went to the trailer Side at first, but no one was there at all!!!! Nevertheless, I love how they post restroom reads!!!! Those quotes I took pics from were painted on their bathroom wall. I thought that was extremely creative from this cafe to share with their customers.... I got a drink to go....I think it was hazelnut latte, but I couldn't get a great taste of the hazelnut too well either. Cashier was courteous enough to switch me from 'for here' mug to a 'to go cup,' because I decided to go back to Pricilla's for getting some work done. Thanks for being in Burbank, CA though. I'll pass on this venue. Just ain't for me.

Yelp
I'm giving this place 5 stars for multiple reasons. The ambiance is perfectly cozy and the food and drinks are really good! Tucked away on a street not far from the Walt Disney Studios, it's almost easy to miss it. I found out about it from another Disney colleague. There's not a lot of parking in the lot, but there is street parking nearby. Inside, you feel like you're in a camping oasis. I love the camp theming. While the pastries were definitely staring at me in the case, I decided I wanted to get a full on breakfast with their Basecamp Breakfast Burrito ($12.99) with a side of hash browns. I also ordered their seasonal pumpkin spice latte. I love they have a full cafe selection... and it's good!! They give you a little table card so one of the servers can get your order. The Basecamp Breakfast burrito was very filling. I actually had half and saved the other half for later. For a burrito, the portions of everything seemed pretty good. I thought the price for it was fair since it is rather large. I really enjoyed the salsa which has some heat. The hash browns were perfectly crisped. I've also come back since my initial visit and tried the brisket burrito and for brisket fans out there... it is GOOD! Overall, a great place to grab breakfast and relax with some campy no frills vibes. I'd love to come back and try more things on the menu.

Yelp
Whenever we have time to have a nice sit down brunch, we always think of base camp. It's in a great residential area and their food menu items are delicious. I've had the lavender waffles before and it wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again. I'll stick to the classics. Their breakfast sandwiches are good, very filling as well. Lately I've been getting Acai and I do enjoy it. They also have a variety of coffee and smoothie options.

Yelp
First time at Basecamp Dinette on January 22, 2024. Ordered, breakfast and 2 lattes. I went to get a table while my girlfriend waited for our coffees (as directed). She came out with the two coffees and as we were getting ready to sit the Birista came out and asked if our name was Anna. We replied no, he said you took someone elses coffee. We apologized, he was less than happy and said now I have to make them over. We sat down, my friend shared that she was told by a staff member that those were ours. I had already taken a drink when he informed us of the mistake, I went back in to let him know that we would just keep the drinks that we had taken and not to make our order. I then told him about my friend being told that the drinks were ours and the Brista proceeded to tell me that he was there the entire time and that he told her that the drinks were not hers and she took them any way. I then said maybe she didn't hear you, and regardless it was a mistake and he was being rude. I walked back to my table. He then comes by our table and says to my friend, I wasn't upset and I thought he was appoligizing but then he says believe me if I was being rude you would know it......and started to walk away. I pointed out that the very statement was rude and unnecessary. Rather disappointing experience. The food was great and all other staff that we came into contact with were great. Please do better, it was just a mistake, sorry you had to make the drinks again and my going back to you was to save you the time in making our order.

Yelp
Cute roadside diner type of place. Great breakfast food and drinks. Slightly limited seating during meal times. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would come back again.

Yelp
Great little spot. I'm a matcha girl. Love that you can choose to have it sweetened with honey, or vanilla, or even another syrup. And it's not too sweet My go to breakfast is usually the brisket burrito. It is very filling and tasty. My daughter is a pastries gal, and my son loves the chicken wrap. It can get quite busy here. Staff is pretty friendly. Drinks and food come fairly quickly. I do feel like you always see people working very hard here. Has that kind of neighborhood feel. The vibe is kinda of a mix between a cafe and picnic Parking can be a bit of a challenge but that's just this area in general. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Don't be afraid to share a table with a stranger. And bring your dogs. They are pet friendly.
google avatar

Rick R.

Yelp
Nice little place for breakfast. Food was tasty and the price decent. Has an outdoorsy feel even though it's located in a neighborhood. You order online or at the counter, have a seat and they will bring you the goods. I'd go there again.
google avatar

Yelp
Very trendy spot! Cute outdoor seating and good food for reasonable prices. Their breakfast burrito is good!

Yelp
Such a cute little spot nestled in a quiet area of Burbank. I came here in the morning and they had a great variety of pastries displayed, and I opted for the gluten free pumpkin donut with an iced chai latte to go with it. I thought the chai was more so of an oatmilk latte unfortunately, but I did like the donut. My friends ordered more breakfast type foods like the sandwich and breakfast combo plate which they enjoyed. The service was quick and I love their outdoor seating area!

Yelp
I googled "breakfast diners in Burbank" and the it was between here and Red Maple Cafe for my 25th birthday breakfast yesterday and I made the right choice! Cheesy but I had a gut feeling to choose this place. Right when you enter, you order at the cashier and then they give you a number where they will walk the food to your table once it's ready. If you order pastries, they give it to you at the register. We ordered 3 (forgot to take a pic before devouring) so she offered if we wanted it in a to-go box or on plates which the box was perfect. If you are a newbie like us, there's physical menus you can read to the side while others order if you don't know what you want. There's seating outside on wooden benches or inside on tables with chairs or a cozy section with couches. I have been craving pancakes and these pancakes with butter and fruit hit the spot with syrup. My mom got the spicy waffle chicken sandwich and it wasn't that spicy which she liked so if you have a high tolerance for spice, you might want to add spicy sauce. It comes with syrup and we ordered ranch as well. The breakfast burrito (eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese, tomato salsa) was HEAVEN. The tomato salsa is a nice refreshing touch. Dipped in ranch and ketchup was even more amazing. Pastries were pretty good! Nothing too spectacular but the cinnamon bun was the standout. Would try new ones next time. The service is nice and kinda quick. Depends if you know what you're ordering and how many items. They did forget to charge our coffee but they don't make you wait the line and charge you on a different register for fast service. Overall, the food is delicious, the environment is calming, and on a Friday morning at around 9:30am, there was a line but then it died down. A nice gem I discovered in Burbank. When it comes to trying new food and especially if it's a special occasion, the prices aren't a focus but this meal was in the $60-$70 range for those curious. Parking is not the best; depends what time you arrive. We got the last available space but there's street neighborhood parking around.

Yelp
WE LOVE BASECAMP! This has quickly become our favorite weekend spot - they have amazing drinks & food (their Horchata Latte & Dirty Chai is awesome...also had their veggie omelette and Lavender waffles ) They have plenty of shaded outdoor seating, the staff is kind and you never have to wait long! PLUS it's located in the Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood so chances are you'll see people ride by on horses while you sip your coffee! Definitely put this place at the top of your list
google avatar

Yelp
Such a great place, love their food and vibes! I love the matcha latte, and the Cobb salad is great!
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, good prices, but the food has taken a quality dive over the last year. Everything on the menu used to be great here, but over the last year or so it's been getting more and more bland. Not sure if it's inferior ingredients or changing the recipes but the menu could definitely use a refresh.
google avatar

Jordan J.

Yelp
Crispy chicken wrap was fire. Texture and flavors were great second time here and will be back!
google avatar

Ruchi B.

Yelp
Food with beautiful views of green mountains. Stopped here for brunch on our way back from LA to Bay area. It was such a relief after a hectic day visiting Disneyland, this place and the food were both soul calming. Bunch of veggie options. Coffee and pastries also available. Cafe au lait was okay, should have ordered an espresso drink for myself. But this place is a great place for brunch/breakfast.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
A wonderful spot to have some yummy food after a nice hike! Very cute location with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was excellent and speedy.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good. And the beer. Coffee's fine. Although in the morning, there's a guy with a beard and hat who clearly doesn't want to be there. On his phone, he rings up your order... which can be hilarious--or pretty impolite, depending on who you are. You came here to enjoy their service right? "Good morning" to you too, pal. In the noon/afternoon though the staff though is pretty chill and friendly. The lunch options are delicious too from good burgers to salads. This is usually the best time to visit this place. If you're an employee in the Media District, I'd stop by. The food is on point. Otherwise, there's not a huge need to eat here besides that. If some of the morning staff were more "sincere", then yes, it probably would make them a standout destination at all hours of the day.
google avatar

Cz V.

Yelp
On top of great staff and delicious food, this place is in such a great area. The vibe is relaxed and inviting. They also carry great beer on tap and in cans! Was able to grab Paperback Brewing's Italian Pilsner. Delicious.
google avatar

Lusine V.

Yelp
My friend and I went here to catch up and have brunch. The breakfast looked great but the burger caught my eye for sure. I wasn't disappointed they also were able to trade in the fries for hash browns. I also got the horchata latte which was a nice mix of espresso and horchata flavor. Perfect sweetness! Besides the food I think it seemed like we went at a peak time as it was very busy and no where to sit inside or outside. We settled sitting by the bar area until something opened up. After an hour of being there it slowed down and got more quiet. I would definitely head back there and try the breakfast burrito

Yelp
I work down the street and just discovered this gem of a restaurant! Last Friday was my first time, I had the Rancho burger with a side of garlic parm fries. I ordered for a lunch time pick-up. The order was ready on time, it was hot and it was delicious!! Did, I mention it was only $12.99? In this day and age, that's a great price for wonderful food. My friend and co-worker ordered the veggie burger and she was equally impressed. She also had a smoothie and I had a frappe. Both drinks were great. We returned today for the Tuesday special, which is their breakfast burrito for $7!!! Is this place great or what? 7 dollars and it was delicious!! My co-worker cannot have dairy or bacon. In light of this, she requested in the special request box online if they could please sub avocado instead of these items without charging extra for the avocado. They honored this request and that was very nice of them. They didn't have to and some places wouldn't have done so. Great customer service. This place is definitely a gem and we will be back soon. Thank you Basecamp, nice ambiance as well.

Yelp
Love this small joint in Burbank. It gives major local vibes and never disappoints! Food is so delicious! I love the coming here for breakfast but it's also a hidden gem for lunchtime too! I reccomend grabbing a pastry to go! Staff is super friendly and makes so yummy drinks!

Yelp
this is one of my favorite hidden cafes in Burbank right near Rancho and within walking distance from Disney Studios with ample parking. I love the quiet neighborhood it's in and the fast and friendly service from staff. I've ordered many things from here including the breakfast wraps, the acai bowl and the french toast and coffee and everything has always been amazing each time.
google avatar

Yelp
Ate here the other day. Good service! Nice people. Food was excellent. EVERYTHING was spot on.

Yelp
Still love this place. Staff is super friendly and they allow furry friends to join you. The food is very fresh and the wait time is short. They serve breakfast and lunch. One day I will order something other than baked goods...well, maybe...! *Order your food and drinks at the register, pay, get a number, grab a table and they will bring your your food. Bon appetit:)
google avatar

Helen Q.

Yelp
Im really digging the set up and atmosphere of this place. It's a cute little spot. Love that we can bring our fur friends with us to dine. Ordered the basecamp breakfast burrito. It was delicious, however, I felt it could have had more bacon in it. I'm usually not too big on needing a lot of meat in my breakfast burritos, but definitely felt it was a bit slacking. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
google avatar

Jorge D.

Yelp
Very bland, diner food. Hipster. Coffee is good though. Good for groups though. The End.

Christina P.

Yelp
Biscuits and gravy was disgustingly dry and hard. I'm actually embarrassed I bought it for my friend.

Yelp
Love coming here for their burgers from the BBQ joint next door. Their French fries are so good and are essentially steak fries but thinner so they get a little crispy around the edges and come with a bbq sauce/spicy ketchup type of sauce which is excellent. I like that this gives almost like a cafe vibe but they're open later than most and offer not only cafe drinks, but also several options of local craft beers and wines. I've come here at night for dinner with a friend and on a weekend morning for breakfast and both energies are enjoyable. The place is tucked in amongst a residential type area so many locals walk or bike here. Overall always enjoy stopping by!

Yelp
Basecamp Dinette is one of my favorite spots in Burbank. I love the outdoor seating, plants & picnic tables. The avocado toast was amazing, including the egg and side salad it came with.

Yelp
Food was decently priced, but not very tasty. I ordered a simple breakfast plate which is hard to miss. Potatoes tasted old and bland, turkey bacon was thinner than regular bacon and drenched in oil. On the other hand, I did enjoy the Egyptian tea. The biggest downfall was the service. A place that tries to imitate a cozy, good-natured vibe should try implicating that in their service. The girl working the register on Saturday morning seemed miserable and unwelcoming, along with the guy behind the bar. A simple smile would go a long way.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast in PMC! Great venue for comedy & music in weekend nights. Another PMC gem and a local favorite!

Yelp
cute spot, easy seating for groups or alone. vegan options, the avocado toast with home fries is what I recall having, as well as getting a pot of tea, as I sat there for awhile. Completely reasonable prices too.

Yelp
Service on Sunday (Cinco De Mayo) was great considering how busy they were. Lattes came put quickly, tasted awesome! Horchata Latte with an extra shot, . Lavender Waffle and Chicken Sausage really good. Brisket Burrito was tasty, needed salt and pepper. But still solid. Cronut and Chocolate Croissant decadent . Vibe inside and outside was a vibe. Definitely improved from Covid days. Will return soon!
