Based In Coworking and Event Space

Super-cool co-working space in the middle of Chinatown. Started by two architects. Clean, spacious, and not stuck-up. Everyone who works here has been very helpful. I've been to a lot of co-working spaces in NYC. This is the best.

Fantastic co-working to be in! Everyone is very friendly and it's a beautiful space where our team can do work in peace. Unlike other co-working spaces I've seen, there's no glass walls and no feelings of being trapped in a goldfish bowl. It's an airy, bright space, full of creative people doing awesome work.

Based In feels so creative and nice. There is no annoying branding, it feels organic and friendly with pretty furniture and beautiful tin ceilings. I've been at the space for 3 years and I love coming to work here.

Clean and beautiful co-working space. The high ceilings and huge windows make it a bright and positive space for creative work. The staff is really accommodating and pricing is reasonable here. Huge bonus is all the beautiful plants!

Based In has been a really great space for me to work out of. The space offers many amenities such as private phone rooms, conference rooms, printers, coffee....The open & airy space is filled with natural light. I also love the convenient location which is accessible by a ton of subway lines.

I've been a member here for about six months and am a real evangelist. It's the perfect environment to get work done: quiet enough to focus, but not quiet enough to where you feel weird about taking a call at your desk or having a conversation with your neighbor. The space is clean, beautiful, and affordable, and the community is friendly and respectful.

Based In is a great find for those looking for office or desk space. The space is located in a classic downtown NY building with cast iron columns, tin ceiling, exposed sprinklers, etc and amazing light. The Based In team has done a nice job designing each floor to create a relaxed but considered space that offers a nice background for working.
