Overall its a quite good place, would recommend to visit once :) Quality of the food were good and the portions weren't small, taste was also fine so nothing to complain about Price wise its like every other sushi place where its more expensive over here but acceptable. Ambience was quite nice and calming, the service was decent as well.

Lovely, atmospheric, Japanese restaurant with excellent, thoughtful service. Our servers were very professional and attentive. The food was excellent. It was the best sashimi I’ve had. I had a combo which was a hot dish with a cold dish so I chose chicken teriyaki (perfectly cooked and juicy) with Sashimi (very large slices.) it included a salad and miso soup. This is a real deal Japanese restaurant. It is pricey but you get quality across the board and I can’t recommend it enough.

Friendly, delicious food with high prices. Good rice for sushi and sashimi was really good. The karaage is recommended by the chef to taste a piece first and then serve it to the customers. Other than that, everything was good.

The best sushi place in Freiburg by far! Also the ambiance and the service is great! They always have changing lunch menu. A big recommendation!

Wonderful food which gives you a ride with all the flavors. The staff are also super friendly and tries to accommodate as much guests as possible considering the social distance still applied. Every penny is worth every dish.

We've been going at least once a year since 2014. Hands down, the best restaurant in the world! Highly recommend.

Best Japanese food in the region. Last time I was there for lunch and food was good but it was better the last few times when I was there for dinner. The staff is lovely and the service quick. The luck Menü is in the ~20euri range which makes it a bit in the expensive side for frieburd but well worth the cost. The serving size is quite filling. And the options are always good.

Went there for lunch. Normally, it would be hard to book this place, however, perhaps there were less people due to the summer vacation. my daughter had the lunch set menu, my wife had Unagi Don, and I had the Sushi set. The food here is authentic Japanese. The service is friendly although not quite as fast as in other places I've been to. However, we were not in a hurry so no issue. Atmosphere is relaxed and towards fine dining. Price is quite expensive considering similar restaurants in Lörrach, but it is worth a visit and maybe even few return visits.

Best Japanese food in most of Germany. Hard to find anything comparable in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Competes only with Duesseldorf and some of the hipper Izakayas in Berlin in terms of authenticity. Run by a full Japanese staff. Delicious. Go!

Best Japanese cuisine in the region. Fresh succulent sashimi, silky smooth chawanmushi, unsurpassed quality of most Japanese restaurants that we've dined within 2hr drive between Germany and France.

I felt inclined to write this, even though I ended up not trying the food here. From the outside, the place looked inviting, about half full with patrons. Having lived in Japan for several years, the menu looked reasonably authentic. The door was invitingly wide open, with the sign clearly indicating "open". Upon entering, a waitress immediately approached and said "hello". We then asked for a table for two. Rudely, she said "we are closed". Hmmmm....then why would you have the door open, with a sign saying "open" with patrons being served? For yucks? We instead sent our business to a great chinese restaurant a few blocks east, Hong Kong restaurant, and were cheerfully served a great meal.
