Google
The food was really good here, I got the limited time Steakhouse burgers and the turkey burger. I also got some sweet potato fries and an order of onion rings. I also got a refillable soda that allows you to try a lot of hand crafted sodas alongside an Oreo chocolate shake. Most of the soda flavors were good except for the orange it was not bad but not my favorite. The Oreo Chocolate milkshake was really good and I would recommend it. The burgers were made well and tasted great. The onion rings were good a little burnt on the bottom where it touched the fry cage, but that really was not a complaint. The fries were ok and fresh so I would get sweet potato fries over regular ones. This is one of the better burger places in Pentagon City and Crystal City so if you are looking for a good burger I would go here over others.

Google
This sandwich is basically a chicken nugget. While I do love the loaded fries skip this chils size chicken sandwich. Everything here is made fresh and I do love the burgers just stay away from the chicken nugget sandwich...

Google
Excellent service, mixed drinks on tap, milk shakes, a burger doesn’t cost you 20$. This is a better option than shake shack down the street. The pricing to portion and taste is a great value. A great place for a good burger and a beer and the owners should feel proud of the product they are serving. I will be here again.

Google
I recently visited this grass-fed burger joint and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of lines, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. The atmosphere was inviting and made for a comfortable dining experience. The burger I had was delicious and tasted of high-quality ingredients. The staff were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great burger in a clean and friendly environment.

Google
We we stopped by in late October and we loved it. The setting is pretty cool and the front wall is open to the plaza so it has an energetic vibe. Burgers were the best we've had in all of Pentagon City 🙌

Nate B

Google
I really enjoyed this place. I had the double cheeseburger with house seasoned fries. Both were very good. They had Stubborn soda. It was good too. Decor is nice. Friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place.

Google
Solid smash burger & fries. You order through a kiosk & grab a pager, which lights up when your order is ready. A bit pricey though considering you don't actually get served by anyone.

Bridget Mullins

Google
You're better off going to Five Guys. Here you place your own order and pay (yet there is still a tip prompt at the end!). The food was bland and portions small (like 12 fries and a piece of filler paper at the bottom). You're basically paying the same price but with less ways to customize your burger.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this spot was! I got one of their regular cheeseburgers and it was really good. I did a pick up order but the inside was clean and there's tons of seating. The burger 9/10 - meaty and delicious also filling The string fries - they weren't super skinny but still very delicious 8/10 The service was good, my food was ready on time. Overall, great lunch spot! I'll definitely be going back. Also, the prices aren't too crazy depending on the type of burger you order.

Bradley L.

Yelp
Solid burger spot in Pentagon City. I'd stay away from the salad or chicken sandwiches here and just go for the burgers. Ordering is all done via kiosks. There's a lot of customization you can do on your burger to make it your own. Once it's in, usually it's fast unless there's a school trip while you're visiting, in which case you'll be put in a queue behind 50 children. That's what they're good at. They also have a bar inside where you can grab a drink and watch some sports or hang out.

Korynne B.

Yelp
Enjoyed a cod sandwich with cheese and side Caesar salad. Ordered at the kiosk and food was ready within 5 min! Great view of the patio for a great summer day!

Maddie M.

Yelp
Wanted a burger and this place did the job and satisfied my craving. Able to customize the burger how'd you'd like at the kiosk. Easy spot to go alone. Bartender was super friendly. My burger came out wrong and the man behind the counter fixed it quickly with a smile. Grateful for that! Almost empty on a Sunday night at 7pm, but love the open concept so you can people watch :)

Yelp
Like some of the other Yelp reviews have mentioned, cheaper and better than Shake Shack. My friends and I stopped by Basic Burger for lunch this past Sunday afternoon. Initially, I was surprised we chose a burger place because we never eat burgers usually, but I'm glad I was able to try it out! BASIC CHEESEBURGER - 8.69 The brioche bun looked perfect without much ripples or winkles. It was also a tad shiny and the burger itself was neatly stacked. The beef patty was perfectly cooked, and all the toppings (lettuce, tomato and onion) were your basic (haha) essentials that were fresh and pleasant. Overall, tasty burger and definitely on the cleaner and healthier side for a burger. It was good, but nothing to rave about. LOADED MOO FRIES - 8.15 These were a lot, drenched in sauce and loads of toppings like bacon, Parmesan and green onions. A lot of the fries didn't really touch the sauce, but they were still soggier than I expected. Overall, pretty good, but I wouldn't get this again. The fried egg definitely made it a lot better, though.

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood spot! It has become a go-to for my family. Pros: The burgers are the best "fast food" burgers you can get in the area. This may be a controversial statement, but I think they're better than Shake Shack :-) They're the perfect balance--flavorful without being greasy. Also love the topping offerings, always fresh with enough variety that you can really customize your burger. Patties are thin, but the burgers are deceptively large and I always leave stuffed. Also love the fries, so addicting. Perfect shoestring size and they offer a couple of seasoning options. Another great thing about Basic Burger is that their non-burger options are quite good for a burger place. My son is a big fan of their hot dog and their kale caesar salad is a hidden gem. They also have good milkshakes and the bar area is a bonus if you're there and want a alcoholic drink. Cons: It feels a little pricey for fast food. Burgers and fries for a family can easily run $50 (or more with drinks). However, I'm not sure that you can find anything cheaper that is of the same quality so I definitely find it worth the trip.

Yelp
Visited on 12/3/23. Nice clean spot with a good amount of seating in multiple TVs to watch football(I went on a Sunday). I had the big bacon double cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a said of the house sauce. The service was quick and The burger was good, very flavorful. The sweet potato fries with the house dipping sauce was good as well. The fries were fried nicely and the sauce add a nice touch. All and all, will definitely try again

Yelp
Burgers, Fries, Milkshakes. What more do you need? Came here for lunch to check the place out. It's self order via kiosks, pick up a number device, pick your seat, and get your food when the device vibrates. They have a few TV screens to show some of the sports game, but they're all by the bar. I got the Basic Bacon Cheeseburger ($9.79), which is topped with American cheese, smoked applewood bacon and served with their "Basic Sauce". Overall a really good burger. Tastes pretty high quality. I also got the Loaded Moo Fries ($8.15), which consisted of shoestring fries, chipotle ranch, crisp bacon, shaved Parmesan, chopped scallions, topped with a fried egg. Definitely the portion size is for two people. The fries tastes exactly like the fries from McDonalds, just a lot less salty, and with all the other ingredients that makes this "loaded". Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place was a great choice if you are looking for a good simple burger and fast!! I went with my friends for a quick dinner and it was perfect! We ordered on the tablets and within minutes it was ready! I got the basic cheese burger in a lettuce bun.... delicious except next time I will probably stick with the normal bun... it was a little difficult to eat with the lettuce bun and I felt like it was just too much lettuce! My side was sweet potato fries and those were pretty good too!! All in all I would probably stop here again - they even have a little bar in the back where you can get beers or cocktails and watch some sports!!

Herbert L.

Yelp
Well, there is nothing basic about the burger. This was one of most delicious burgers I have ever had! I wish I could eat a basic burger everyday if I could. I totally recommend it it was worth the drive from Woodbridge. Definitely ingredients taste fresh perfectly crafted to perfection and the their Stubborn Soda fountain serves classic flavors and is cool how it has a Draft soda fountain style. Pull the lever down to fill up. And they have a bar on the side in case you want to have a cold beer! I loved it here and will be coming back for more!

Monai D.

Yelp
Decent hamburgers/sandwiches. I don't think there is much to rave about. Can't speak on service because there is no real interaction, as you order on the tablet and pick up a buzzer to know when your food is ready. They have a bar area where a few patrons were watching the football game.

Xavier E.

Yelp
Wanted a quick grab with an american pub style and burger joint mix to it; this was the place to go! Had all the sports games on along with ESPN in the background. The nachos were huge and had ample accessories to it which made it delicious all the way to the end versus many restaurants that just stack everything on the top. The waitress was timely and polite! Honestly it had a great feel and I have 0 complaints about this place.

Colleen W.

Yelp
Great sandwiches, great price, quick & accurate service, easy online ordering. Would go again

Jason M.

Yelp
Cheaper than Shake Shack with better burgers and better fries plus a bar. The location is great, right in the middle of Pentagon City. We had a geat meal here, they can really handle the large groups. Burgers, chicken sandwich, hot dogs ans really tasty seasoned fries. Recommend coming here if you are in the area looking for fast casual in a group or want to sit outside in the courtyard. Will definitely eat here again

Braeden H.

Yelp
Food: I got the Big Double Cheeseburger and a Cookies & Cream Shake. The burger wasn't huge, but enough to fill most people especially if you have a side (fries, shake, etc.). The toppings tasted fresh and they did a great job of cooking the burger patties. In addition, the "Basic Sauce" complemented the burger perfectly. The shake was amazing too. It was thick (could be a negative if you prefer thinner shakes) and sweet, but not too much of either. The only complaint I did have was that the water cup I was given was about 2 inches tall. I know it has become common practice for some places to give smaller cups for water, but this was pretty excessive even by that standard. Service: You order off of a kiosk and take a buzzer that indicates when you pick up your food. Fairly simple process. Atmosphere: Indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a bar area with some TVs. The outside tables were fairly dirty, but nothing crazy. Overall, pretty nice setup. Great food for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back

tadpolemermaid

Yelp
Really good burgers and fries! Only complaint is I wish the burger wasn't cooked quite as well done. There is extremely minimal interaction with the employees, which could be a plus if you're very introverted.

Yelp
Solid spot in the Pentagon Row area of Pentagon City. Lived in the area for years but checked it out for the first time tonight on the way home from the gym. I guess this place specializes in contactless service as the only way to order seems to be through the two kiosks they have towards the back of the restaurant. ("Contactless" also means this place does NOT accept cash, credit only.) Was mostly a straightforward ordering process, though towards the end of the ordering process the screen asks you to enter the two-digit code for the portable restaurant pager that will buzz you when the order is ready. Wasn't sure where to pick a pager up at first but eventually found them next to the kiosk. Order came out 5-7 minutes later. The burgers are essentially "basic" (as the restaurant's name implies) but above average/solid. No complaints. Got fries with house seasoning which I thought were very good as well. Will say that the burgers, while comparably priced, are not quite as good or as filling as Five Guys burgers - Five Guys also gives you many more options for toppings. Five Guys fries are a bit more expensive but are also better and you get way more fries. So given a choice between Five Guys or this spot, I'd definitely go with Five Guys. Good Stuff Eatery is a bit better than this place as well. In terms of menu I noticed striking similarities between Basic Burger and Shake Shack - I'd put the two on roughly the same level. One thing I really liked is Basic does have a bar area where you can down beers (including some local craft beers) with your burger and watch sports on the big screen TVs. For non-alcoholic drinks, Basic also had milkshakes and Stubborn craft soda - I didn't get to try either of those. Besides burgers, Basic also has fried chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken wings, and salads. Cool spot in a convenient location next to Pentagon City mall that I'd come back to again. They also give you a spiffy bag for your to-go order if that's something you appreciate. Again, not quite as good as some of the other local specialty hamburger spots like Five Guys or Good Stuff Eatery, but does get the job done and is worth checking out...

Yelp
I thought the food was okay, but the lack of an employee at the front counter was unacceptable. For me, it isn't "hip" or "cool" to not have a cashier or severe handle customers. So the customer has to view the menu on a kiosk, enter what s/he wants, then figure out how to navigate the kiosk to get the burger's toppings, subtractions or additions. Then the customer has to get enter the pager number and then gets to look for a place to sit. Once the pager goes off, the customer then gets to go back to the counter to get the food. I had the bacon cheese burger and fries. There was nothing special about the burger. The bacon was crunchy but not burned. The fries were skinny and well cooked. They were crispy and not soggy at all. The fries were actually the best part of the meal. The house sauce complimented the fries and was not overpowering. There is a small bar to get beer and other drinks. Honestly, I don't understand why businesses think it's a good idea to NOT have an employee greet customers and provide service. It truly takes away from the dining experience. Not only is there no one to take the customer's order, but after the customer enters the order and does everything but cook the food, the kiosk is set to ask for a tip! A tip for who or what I am not sure. Simply a dumb business model in my opinion and I won't return for that reason.

Kimberly J.

Yelp
Good stuff. Hubs loves all things burgers, so here we are. Paid parking is available. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is spacious, neat, and organized. Employees are friendly and neatly wrapped our order. Restrooms are in the back and clean. There are changing tables in both restrooms, awesome! Their burgers, fries, and shakes are on point. The bun is soft yet holds everything together. The meat patty is juicy and well seasoned. The veggies used are fresh. Fries are crisp and pair well with their basic sauce. Nothing is overly salty or greasy, which is greatly appreciated. Their shakes are cool, creamy, and flavorful. Not overly sweet, perfect. I really like the laid back ambiance of this area. So glad we got a chance to try Basic Burger out!

Sophia P.

Yelp
Finally tried this burger joint after walking past it many times in Pentagon Row. It always seemed to have a good crowd sitting at the bar/window, or at the patio outside. I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety on their menu. Although they are called "basic burger", they had at least 10-15 different varieties of burgers on their menu, including the Mexican fiesta burger (pictured), Nashville hot chicken, and fried cod sandwich. The Fiesta burger was loaded with guacamole, pico, a juicy but not greasy burger, and I topped with an egg. The bun was super soft and buttery. The bacon cheeseburger was just that, easy, tried and true, and hit the spot. +cheap; burgers were $10-$12 +parking +draft beer +self service kiosk +outdoor seating

Gabriela N.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend, it's just an expensive fast food burger, the food is very meh, burger is skinny,. Sweet potato fries were undercooked, chipotle ranch tastes like more like wasabi with a bitter taste, it's a thick paste really weird texture. I had a burger and fries and left hungry. Weird food, will not try again.

Christian C.

Yelp
First time visiting Basic Burger and I wasn't disappointed. Burger was good and wasn't dry as well as the loaded fries. Milkshake did it's job as far as my sweet tooth is concerned. Service was friendly and fast. Plan on dropping back in when I'm back in Arlington.

Tamara D.

Yelp
Maybe better at the restaurant? This was delivered through grubhub. Disappointed. Food was mediocre at best. Kind of hard to tell when it's cold. I've ordered way better burgers in the area.

Dave, Lily S.

Yelp
The best in the area with delicious burgers and great staff. Basic burger is basically a better version of shake shack. The only reason I'm taking out 1 star is because of the chicken sandwiches being a bit dry but as far as burgers, I highly recommend.

Greg E.

Yelp
Their name says it all - it certainly doesn't feel like more than a basic burger experience at this Shake Shake derivative. This place is completely self-serve, meaning you place the order, you punch in a pager number, you come back to collect your food, you dispense your beverages, and you bus your table. This location could use some additional help to clean and maintain - the tables all needed to be cleaned (as did the restroom) and the ice dispenser at the soda fountain was broken - like, the dispenser had snapped off. Compared to Shake Shake, the food was more expensive and had less flavor. A bacon cheeseburger here is $9.79, but $8.39 at Shake Shake. And Shake Shack just tastes better. The house spice on the fries was nice, and the milkshake was great, if a little small at $5.25. Three stars for a totally fine burger joint, but why would you ever go here when Shake Shack is like 500 feet away and offers a tastier, cleaner, cheaper experience?

Steven F.

Yelp
Went with party of 17 on a single ticket. Cook behind the counter asked if we had the money to pay. Was advised that was a fact. Proceeded to go back behind counter and scoff and complaint to coworker. Order cancelled. Never had the food. Can't say what it was about. Bartender on the other hand was outstanding. He was accommodating and friendly. Nice looking place. Too bad the kitchen staff doesn't match the ambiance. Update: We found a restaurant across the street more than accommodating. While sitting we were approached by eye bartender and the owner of the restaurant. He was more than apologetic. He's an honorable individual. Based on the owners conduct, ia would give Basic Burger another chance.

Samantha J.

Yelp
This is my second time here and during the pandemic. My go to place is closed so I decided why not order here and eat outside. I wanted to enjoy the perfect weather before it rises to close to 90 degrees tomorrow resulting in more traffic. Pro- ordering is all self service whether online or at the register on a touch screen. This restaurant has Apple and Google pay. There's lots of space indoor with a protective screen to sit or a section outside with a few large tables outside the entrance. I love that the space has a open slide in class I assume. It's the only restaurant in pentagon row I saw with one. Huge pro... great way to allow air flow and it's beautiful. It was beneficial in the winter for orders and picks ups where staff stayed inside and customers were outside. Currently when you order you enter your number and receive a text when your order is ready. It's placed on a shelf near the fountain drinks and the bag is stapled closed with your order outside of it. They sell drinks. Decent prices and pre-made I believe for the pouch drinks, can vodka soda, beer, and wine options. Cons - I ordered a bbq bacon cheeseburger w/o bacon and there was bacon on the sandwich although the correct order was attached. That was disappointing because you're always hoping the place doesn't buy time and just remove the bacon vs make another sandwich. I didn't see any tables sanitized between customers or the touch screen order section at the register. There was very little traffic at the tables and people came went inside. It doesn't necessarily mean it's not being done but I did not the witness outside area while I sat for a while. Inside I did not see while I waited from outside but again idk. I made sure to sanitize my hands multiple times when I touched anything. The manager happened to be around apologized and requesting another made without bacon on my behalf. He was nice asked if I wanted anything else or a drink while I waited. He walked my sandwich over and handed it to me when it was ready. I stood outside the restaurant by the open window and waited and he apologized again. The good was good no further issues. The sandwich was okay. All in all it's a great location. Not too busy among the other restaurants depending on the day. It's a great place to relax outdoors. There was some nostalgia when I glanced over to the grassy area and saw kids doing cartwheels. Looked fun but the "do not try this at home or anywhere" popped into my head. Anyway, I will come again and try something else.

Keisha L.

Yelp
I have picked up food from Basic Burger a few times when in the area during the pandemic and I continue to be impressed!! They are continuing to following and observing all safety protocols to ensure safety. Operating as a full service pick up window you can literally walk up and place your to go order. They have a patio adjacent to the window where you can sit and enjoy your food. Now that the temps are dropping they have equipped the area with heat lamps so you can stay warm. Located in Pentagon Row, they are also participating in the Sip and Stroll so you can come by grab some eats and get a bevy in an adult style sippy pouch that you can take with you as you stroll the common areas and enjoy your drink. They have also added some new menu items to include a seasonal Cranberry Mojito and some Crispy Wings that you can get with the sauce on them or on the side, I recommend on the side and one of each sauce so you can dip at your leisure. Make sure you check out some staple menu items like the not so basic Basic Cheeseburger and the Moo Fries.

Sean M.

Yelp
Basic Burger is basically another version of a place like Shake Shake. Pretty good burgers but at a pretty high price. The main difference in my mind is that ordering is pretty much fully contactless. You order through a screen and set up your own buzzer and go and wait for your food to be ready. It definitely was busy, but not too much that there were lines/no place to sit. Otherwise, yeah. Sorta good food, but definitely at a premium price that didn't necessarily fill you up. I probably wouldn't come here again at my own choice, but if someone recommended to eat here, I wouldn't say no.

Mark L.

Yelp
Good food, if pricey for a burger meal. They do not accept cash and I do not like being held hostage for a tip at the point of sale.

Jerry S.

Yelp
Their Loaded Moo Fries are absolutely the bomb! Burgers are great too but I just personally prefer to order the Moo fries when I'm there. Definitely my favorite place to stop and eat when I'm in Arlington!

Nisha S.

Yelp
I liked this place, what's not to like about a burger with cheese. Only thing that I can say that I didn't like was that they didn't give me ranch but their chipotle ranch instead. Unfortunately I ate the meal an hour later, it was cold but those fries and the burger were still good. 4/5

Sofia M.

Yelp
We like their deep fried delicious wings. Their drinks are good, but nothing to brag about. My husband gives the burgers a 3, I give their burgers a 1. Their kale cesar salad is tasty. Service is average.

Kate X.

Yelp
One word: Chewy I always got to have my bagel on Saturday morning, but instead of ordering one from here I should've made my own, it would've been better. The pictures they post on Doordash are deceiving to say the least. The everything bagel itself wasn't very seasoned, and it was literally soft, which just had you chewing one bite for 30 seconds. The egg and bacon itself was ordinary. Oh and did I mention this bagel was nearly $7 and it was about the size of a tennis ball. Overall, I should've saved my money, or ordered from Bruegger's, which is cheaper & better.

Tank G.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a small courtyard food court in a trendy part of town. As with most places downtown. You will have to pay for parking. However, there is a large lot a short distance away. This place is only taking orders from an open window and not letting anyone in the restaurant. They do have a patio area across from them that you can sit and eat at. They have slusheis and adult capri suns available to drink. I was in heaven. The order was made fresh, but did not take too long to prepare. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. It was devious. The chicken sandwich was awesome. It was hot and sweet at the same time. The seasoning they put on the Cajun fries was pretty good too. I loved them. I wanted more. I highly recommend going Cajun on your fries. They also have hotdogs and burgers, which I hear are pretty good too. The person taking the order was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend checking this place out if you are in the Nation's Capitol. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Charlie P.

Yelp
At basic burger there was some paronomal activities and it was a little sketchy and the workers kept eyeing me and i felt unpleasherd and would not recomend.

John M.

Yelp
Solid burgers just not enough capacity for large groups of people. I felt a little uncomfortable at first because the cow was side eying me but it was just deceiving me. But good lettuce.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Great burgers and the Chicago hot dogs are excellent. Can't go wrong by eating here. The best hot dog I've tasted in the area

Justin M.

Yelp
Pretty nice place to stop at if you're walking around in the area. They have outdoor seating only at the moment, but provide heaters for customers to enjoy. You can place your order using one of the touch screens they have and pay there as well. They will you can choose a few options for them to use to let you know that your order is ready (text, email, call etc) I only stopped in for some hot cider. I found out that they had an alcoholic cider option (don't mind if I do) Definitely was NOT worth 9 dollars though. There was more cider than liquor and it wasn't mixed very well. It was however very nice and hot so it was enjoyable. I would have rather paid 5 or 6 dollars for it.

Dennis L.

Yelp
Basic burger was simply, a good basic burger. It is located in a shopping complex called Pentagon Row. There is also residences located above the shops. You order and pay for your food at the counter. They then give you one of those vibrating pagers. When it goes off, you go back to the counter for pick up. All the extra stuff is next to the soda dispensers, like a McDonalds. We each had the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes and their mayo/ketchup sauce. The burger pattie was very tasty. The veggies were fresh and the bun held everything together nicely. The bacon was crispy, the way I like it. You can get sea salt or season salt on your fries which were fried up just right. Crispy on the outside and soft inside.the table next to us had the onion rings which looked great, will have to try those next trip. So we reccomend this location and will come back again.

Alexander T.

Yelp
Was craving a burger and fries and, after some disheartening stops at Shake Shack, decided to give Basic Burger a try. The cheeseburger was great, atop fresh ingredients, a flavorful and well-done patty, toasty bun, and a dollop of some of their delicious sauce and cheese. The fries were pretty good too, crispy and not too salty. They were drenched in house seasoning (aka some kind of Old Bay-esque flavor) which made for a good pairing. And the shake was decent, rich and flavorful exactly how you'd expect a cookies and cream shake to taste. They've got a setup here for in-person dining indoors, with big sheets of plastic separating diners. Pickup orders like us wait against the far wall near the window, listening for someone to bring out your order. My biggest gripe is how long it took: I don't mind waiting a little bit longer, but while online it estimated 15 minutes it took close to 45 minutes! The burgers were probably the rate limiting step here, given they were still piping hot by the time we got home... though the fries tasted like they had been done and were chilling for a while in the bag.

Maria O.

Yelp
Tried out this 'Basic Bacon Burger' but there was nothing basic about it. The patty was thick and juicy. And the applewood smoked bacon with there homemade basic sauce was Don't forget the perfect combo, ! I got a loaded one with fried egg, shaved Parmesan cheese and bacon bits smothered in their basic house made sauce! This location is in Pentagon Row full of shops and restaurants. It also has a ice skating rink during the winter months. Fun activity with great food, what more could you ask for? Ordered: *Basic Bacon Cheeseburger-applewood smoked bacon, house made basic sauce *loaded Moo Fries- fried egg, bacon bits, shaved Parmesan The ordering window is in the front of the restaurant so you don't even have to step into the place. It has menus posted for easy reading. And they have plastic screens for covid measures. Easily order your food and they call you when it's ready! Check this place out when your looking for a fulfilling meal. It really satisfies. P.S. they have fried fish sandwich and veggie burger on the menu too!

Yelp
A great lowkey burger place in Pentagon City. I wanted to try out their veggie burger since there were so many good reviews. Im used to black bean veggie burgers, and It seemed like this one was of a different consistency than I usually see that wasn't made solely from beans. Overall it was a solid burger, but lacked some key flavors that are necessary for veggie burgers. The fries and Caesar salad were both delicious and supplemented the burger nicely. Im looking forward to trying out other burgers at this place and getting some #basicburgers.

Yelp
I came here for a small foodie event so we got to try a vast number of menu items and everything was super delicious!! I got to try the basic cheeseburger which I could easily eat 5 of because they were all very tender and I also loved their veggie burger! It was very flavorful! The fries and wings are perfect as appetizers to snack on while waiting for the meal. The food took a while to come out but probably because they were busy prepping all the food for us. I'm normally not a drink person but their pouch drinks are amazing and fruity! I had the cranberry one as pictured :) Would definitely come back in near future :) See my IG post here! https://www.instagram.com/p/CH8HzsyFKaU/?igshid=13lqb42pqiyn

Yelp
Taking this down to a 2 star. The recent trend is missing paid for items on my take out. They are at a 70% success rate with getting simple burgers and fries correct. Nothing major but very annoying when you open the bag at home to find zero fries that were ordered and on the receipt they staple to the bad! PSA - Double check your take out orders.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. It wasn't very busy when I was there so I didn't have to wait very long for my food. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I got the bbq bacon burger. It was delicious, but didn't have anything really special to make it stand out from competitors. However, their Basic Sauce was fantastic. It was an excellent condiments to do my fries in. It was refreshing and felt new. I was glad not to be limited to only ketchup.

Yelp
Decided to make a quick lunch stop & wanted to see what all the hype was about. Basic burger is an accurate description. Basic as hell. The burger itself had no flavor and all i could taste was the special sauce and onion. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger & my partner got the basic cheeseburger. I also opted in for fried pickles. The breading was different than what you normally expect but the sauce on the side was good. The portion was big and enough to share between two people. Strawberry shake was fresh and creamy- no real strawberries bits mixed in. More so just strawberry ice cream but still good For the amount paid- it wasn't satisfying. I wouldn't go back. I'll stick to Big Buns Damn Good Burger company. Check them out if you haven't

Yelp
Love this place. It's always our go-to when we are in Pentagon City for a quick shop or a stop-off from our bus ride. The little bar is cozy, they've got multiple TVs for sports, the bartenders are always very friendly to us, and their beer selection for a burger joint is quite good. They also have some tasty burgers and other bar-type foods. Check this place our for a quick bite, a good beer, or just a chill little bar scene.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for a great burger & this place is well, basic. I like that they have a pretty great local beer selection. The food is good, but just good and nothing more or less. My first visit I ordered a burger and for my second visit I tried their veggie burger option. Both were just alright.. Not hating on this spot but I definitely would not boost it

Yelp
Delicious ! My new go to drink for the summer! I have never been a Gin girl but I could barely taste it.
