The Best Las Vegas Bars and Restaurants for Live Music | Eater Vegas

"Basilico’s menu is an upscale take on traditional Italian dishes and it delivers them with delicate, artistic plating. Mix in jazz-style performances and this eatery has all the trappings of a hotspot in its southwest neighborhood. Order shrimp arrabiata, wild mushroom risotto, or pizzas with artichoke and truffle cream to pair with weekly shows by vocalist Michael Ross Nugent." - Ryan Slattery

It was our first time dining at Basilico and overall the experience, food, ambiance and service was excellent. We sat outside in the July heat, and the restaurant thought of everything - shade, misters, bar seating with windows that open up to the patio. $1 oysters brought us in, but the other social hour offerings were delightful with a beautiful mountain and an infinity fountain views. A big shoutout to the service team especially, Cole.

Wonderful hidden gem i never knew existed till last night! They had a performer that was so good singing old vegas classics and lounge music. It made the whole night magical. The service was top notch, the restaurant itself has old Hollywood stars on the walls that give it a glamorous sophisticated feel even though it's just in the neighborhood so you can easily drop by. The prices are right but they have some great happy hour and date night deals. We all loved our food. It was creative and tasty. They have a straightforward menu with some great choices. The antipasta was a star to start. And each of our entrees did the trick. Add on some cocktails and delicious shared deserts and it was a great date night. Oh I almost forgot the pizza. It was great and the crust wood fired and great flavor. I could go there just for the pizza. Thank you Basilico for a great night, outstanding service and delicious food. We will be back.

Some friends and I dined here on Thursday night and indulged in the couple 4-course meal. This was my first fine dining experience. The food was different, but tasty. It was beautiful inside, The staff was attentive and answered all of our questions. It was a wonderful, unforgettable night ❤️

I ordered the Chef’s Tasting Menu along with the Zero Spritz mocktail. The tasting menu included seven beautifully presented courses, featuring an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. While the portions were small, each dish was thoughtfully crafted. My favorite was the pasta, which had scallops and shrimp in a deliciously rich sauce. The service was exceptional—friendly staff ensured a seamless experience, changing my tableware with each course. The live music added to the ambiance, with the singer delivering a stunning performance.

Tried this new spot on Buffalo for DATE NIGHT….saw their sign driving by a few times. This is a great place with live music and a very good menu. For Thursday, they offer a date night special which was a crab cake appetizer, excellent focaccia bread, caesar salad, rigatoni pasta, branzino fish entree and tiramisu desert split between two for $80. IT WAS EXCELLENT. The flavors, portions and service were excellent. We will be back again. They have other special daily events including live music, bit this Thursday date night special hits the spot! Regular menu is also available. The watermelon salad and veal parm looked very good as other options.

Changed my rating after calling and a "supervisor" Anthony answered the phone not friendly and very short from the start, answering with just hello with attitude when answering basic questions. He also hung up on me when I asked for his name. This last time we ate here the pizza was served borderline burnt. Pasta portions were small. 3rd time here trying the tasting menu end of july and was not a huge fan. We also order the crudo and steak. Was not a fan of either. Steak and potatoes had a burnt taste, and fish was way too fishy with a smoothie type sauce on it. We came here for the second time and tried their tasting menu. There were three of us and two people had to do it. We got convinced by our waiter for us to all do it. Felt a little sales pitchy. The portions for the 4 course tasting menu ended up seeming like it would have been the same portion for 2 people as it was for our 3. Overall, it was really good, but the portion for 3 vs. 2 was questionable. The service at Basilico is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. The restaurant is also family-friendly, and there is a children's menu available. The atmosphere at Basilico is warm and inviting. The dining room is decorated in a traditional Italian style, and there is a cozy bar area where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer before or after your meal. Overall, Basilico is a great option for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Italian meal. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is inviting.

We had such a fantastic time during happy hour at Basilico Ristorante! Taylinn, our bartender, and Rudy took wonderful care of us—super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The social hour was fun and relaxed with great vibes, amazing prices, and some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while. Their Old Fashioned was perfectly crafted, and a few of their specialty cocktails really stood out. The food was top-notch—my personal favorite was the eggplant dish, and their homemade pasta was incredible. Honestly, I think we tried every special on the menu and loved them all. The outdoor patio is beautiful, with misters to keep things cool and live music that created such a great atmosphere. Basilico Ristorante is definitely going to be one of our new local favorites. Can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
This review is for our experience with the Campania tasting menu. This was our first experience with the tasting menu at Basilico. Two of us had the Campania tasting menu and it was fantastic. The menu is four courses designed for two people. Cole our server was friendly and informative. He provided top notch service throughout the evening. Each of the four courses on the menu were eye popping and delicious. Photos of the food and the menu accompany this review. In addition the live music was an enjoyable blend of tunes to accompany the food.

Yelp
I dined with 4 girlfriends tonight and I had been dying to try it. The space is beautiful, I especially love the bar set up, there is seating inside and out. The food was incredible, some favorites were the Cigars, tortellini carbonara, short rib and the tiramisu. Our server Becca was wonderful. So friendly and her recommendations were perfect!

Yelp
Our server Cole was outstanding and the food Primo! The chef is amazing, the presentation of his dishes were amazing and very delicious!

Yelp
Cheers to whiskey cocktails and a fabulous meal with old and new friends at @basilicolv . First picture is a #whiskeysour with #michtersrye and egg whites, deliciously balanced and I did not mind the ice ball at all. Second picture is the Evora 2.0 cocktail made with Amador bourbon, artichoke infused sweet vermouth, Px Sherry, Cynar, and angostura bitters. Video is the Luce Spente cocktail. Butter washed whiskey with coffee, mushrooms, corn syrup, and chocolate bitters. Spiced bacon for garnish. Cocktail is then smoked and presented. Food was splendid, we got the $89 tasting menu and added an appetizer of the foie gras mousse. Whiskey and gin cocktails were all on point. Shout out to the server Becka who was working her hardest and provided great service.

Yelp
We've been wanting to come here for a while now and we're definitely glad we did. Everything is home made here. We had the gnoccho fritto, the pizza, the cavetelli and the halibut. Everything was cooked to perfection with very fresh ingredients. Our bartender Anthony made some great suggestions and provided excellent overall service. It's a little bit tucked away but definitely worth the drive. An added bonus is the live music Thursday - Sunday!

Yelp
I recently dined at this Italian restaurant and had an exceptional experience. I tried the burrata and the spaghetti, both of which were amazing and incredibly fresh. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff making the evening even more enjoyable. To top it all off, there was fantastic music playing throughout the night, creating a wonderful ambiance. Thanks, Jillian and team! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is EXCELLENT!!! Everything was so good. The best Italian food in Vegas. The presentation of the food was unbelievable amazing. Every single dish came out was right on!! This is a must try place. The place looks very clean and pretty. They have live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Yelp
I was excited to try a new spot in town, so Basilico it was! Perfectly located with a gorgeous view of the mountains, moody lighting, and some lively live music. The Sauvignon Blanc was fantastic, staff exceptional, and menu diverse. I arrived with one other person and ordering was slightly questionable. I wanted to order the short rib entree and my partner wanted to order the tasting menu so we could share both. Allegedly , the tasting menu is designed for more than one person; "ideal!" I thought. We were told that as long as you are at the table, each person would pay the cost of the tasting ($59) not cost per order. It felt a little shady and restricting; or like I didn't have much of a choice. The food was fantastic but overall left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yelp
I was able to get a reservation for New Year's Eve. One could order from the regular menu or choose Chef Di Caudo's special menu for New Year's Eve of a family meal one might have in Italy. I opted for the prix fixe menu, and it was the correct choice. The meal was a 5 course affair. It started with a welcome dish from the kitchen, an amuse bouche, of a kushi oyster with yogurt and pomegranate. 5 courses is a bit misleading, because for several of the courses, there was more than one dish. That started with the first course. It consisted of three dishes--burrata, beef carpaccio, and foie gras custard. When these were brought, Chef Di Caudo came to the table to wish me a Happy New Year and to say that he hoped I was ready to eat a lot of food. Of the dishes from course one, the one that grabbbed my visual attention and my taste buds. The foie gras custard was foie gras topped with fig-espresso marmalade, mascarpone, and cocoa nibs. What a fine combination and a unique way of serving foie gras. The mascarpone was carefully piped onto the top of the foie gras. Very pleasing to the eye! The second course consisted of two dishes--truffle cavatelli and saffron risotto. The risotto was spooned from the bone by a server who left the bone at the table so I could get the extra the spoon was too large to remove. My fork did quite well. What a different, excellent risotto. The third course was both fish and meat--ribeye and Mediterranean sea bass. Both were excellent. The fourth course was cotechino & lentil. I was unfamiliar with the dish and took the opportunity to Google cotechino before dessert. It's a traditional sausage especially from the Modena area served on a bed of lentils. The sausage is cut in rounds to mimic coins to bring prosperity in the new year. The cotechino had a ood amount of salt that cut some of the oil from the cotechino. Another outstanding dish!! Finally, the fifth course--dessert--arrived. There were candied grapes, a Neapolitan baba, and parmigiano cheese gelato made tableside. What a fine trio to end the meal. Chef Di Caudo was correct. It was a lot to eat. I finished my iced tea thinking about the wonderful dinner I had just enjoyed! A family style New Year's Eve meal, a one that will be memorable--well at least until next year......and beyond. Service was outstanding as always. The staff is very pleasant and you feel welcome from the time you enter until you leave and are bid a fond farewell. Becca was my server and she was a delight. She was aided by a group of runners and others. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! Buon anno nuovo!

Yelp
A hidden spot that's gained attention. Tucked away in a still being developed live & play community. This little date night option holds probably just a little over 100 people when full. One booth table available. A yet they give a pretty good dining experience smoothly. Check the menu out and give it a try.

Yelp
WOW! I'm struggling for words to do justice to this fabulous eatery. Tucked into a new residential complex, Basilico exudes sophistication and charm. Contemporary European flair on the inside with inviting outdoor patio seating that abuts a small park with grassy berms, a water fountain and fire pits topped by a performance stage where live music performs regularly to the entertainment of both the diners on the patio and the local sitting on the berm. We enjoyed a tribute to The Rolling Stones last night from 8-9:30pm The menu is Italian...and not Italian! Classics are present, but with much more thought given to plating than usual. But Basilico has some truly original dishes. Don't miss the "smoked Cigar"...duck mousse rolled in a fine crispy wrapper looking like cigars and brought to the table in a mini wood cigar box that when opened releases smoke. A large glass ashtray is placed on the table with what looks like a pile of spent cigar ashes but was in fact truffles and sesame. You rest your "cigars" on that ashtray while dipping into the ashes and munching these treats with delight! Foie Gras custard was a truly original take with a super creamy custard topped with mascarpone coated cocoa nibs and served with focaccia. There was a chefs 8 course tasting menu that night that included the above and more memorable dishes such as Pacceri stuffed with duck mushroom ragu and another dish of baked zucchini flowers. I can't wait to return to sample more! BTW, the waitstaff were all top notch...attentive without being disturbing. A special call out to the lovely and charming Rebecca...you were a delight! UPDATE I originally gave a five star rating. I just took two stars away. Called yesterday morning to make a reservation for 7 PM tonight, voice message said they would call back to confirm. Did not hear back all of yesterday and called again at 5 PM yesterday once again getting voicemail. Left message asking for confirmation for reservation tonight at 7 PM . Today did not hear back until just now, two hours before 7 PM. We already gave up this morning and booked something else, what makes them think they can call two hours before a requested time to confirm a reservation. Not sure if we're going to return. I was a GM for a top midtown Manhattan restaurant in New York, heads would roll for a screwup like that.

Yelp
Basilico Ristorante Italiano is a high quality modern Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere looks kinda Old School but many of the dishes do have a modern twist to them that you won't find at other Italian restaurants. We enjoyed our last dinner here. It really was spectacular so we decided to try brunch. Brunch needs some work. We started out by sharing the smoked salmon ($24.) It was good but the eggs came out unseasoned and cold. Then we shared the paccheri (pasta) ($42.) It wasn't busy and nobody gave us fresh plates......We had to use our used fish plates to eat the pasta. The pasta was cooked perfect. I was hoping that it would be in the delicious sauce that they use on their spaghetti but this one came in a flat plain tomato sauce. It would have been nice to have a slice of bread with this $42. pasta dish. We thought it was odd that our waiter tried to sell us bread after we finished. This dish can use some work. (like make paccheri pie a stuffed noodle dish) If this was my first visit I would only give 3 stars at the most and never return. I know dinner is when this restaurant shines.

Yelp
5 stars all for the entrees. This pasta is a godsend. I came here since I dined at Anima by Edo the year before and saw that the chef opened this place. We got the kabocha agnolotti and beef cheek bottoni for pasta and branzino for entree. All were the stars of dinner. The pasta has the perfect texture; the fillings and sauces are heaven in your mouth. Unfortunately, the appetizers and desserts were 3-4 stars; not as memorable or exciting. We got the smoked cigar (cool tromp de l'oeil but the taste was okay) and bone marrow (an incredibly confused dish that doesn't come together at all). The desserts (cappucino, millefoglie, and pavlova) were okay but nothing to write home about. Service was friendly though it took some time for the entrees to come out. I would certainly come back here for the life-changing pasta.

Yelp
We came here for the second time and tried their tasting menu. There was three of us and two people had to do it. We got convinced by our waiter for us to all do it. Felt a little sales pitchy. The portions for the 4 course tasting menu ended up seeming like it would have been the same portion for 2 people as it was for our 3. Overall was really good but the portion for 3 vs 2 was questionable. The service at Basilico is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. The restaurant is also family-friendly, and there is a children's menu available.

Yelp
What an extraordinary restaurant, with a creative menu and a fantastic wine list! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining at Basilico from the intimate ambiance, the knowledgeable and delightful service, to all the seasonal delicious dishes set before me. Basilico has its options when it comes to dining and it took me a little time to sort out my plan of action. Wine is just as important to me as the cuisine, and I wanted dinner to involve a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. So, I started off with a glass of prosecco and the Smoked Cigar for a starter. The Smoked Cigar was creative and fun, and was served in a wood box that was reminiscent of a cigar box. The roll was filled with a light duck mousse, and then placed on a glass cigar holder with a sesame-truffle ash. It was very delicious, and I loved the smooth and smoky duck mousse inside the roll. I also ordered the bread basket + olio d'olivia & balsamico that came with a variety of fresh bread and crunchy breadsticks. I added the seaweed-yuzu butter and it was a tasty savory spread for all that fresh bread. Then came that ruby red and robust glass of Montepulciano, which I enjoyed so much. I figured I would pair the wine with the Cavatelli (in-house made pasta), fennel seed sausage ragu, and sottocenere cheese. It was all so sumptuous. I could not pass on having dessert, and so decided on the Parmigiano Gelato that was made tableside. It was excellent and the variety of the flavors together- the gelato with a saba drizzle, lemon ginger pound cake, spiced poached pear, vin brule - was a solid and tasteful creation. Basilico Ristorante Italiano offers a phenomenal and creative dining experience, which I know for sure that I will be visiting again. Bravo!

Yelp
Finally writing a review after eating here for the third time. New area with a lots of possibilities in the Southwest area. The restaurant is beautiful. Love the indoor and outdoor option. The bar is fully loaded with great drinks. Service is spot on every time we visited. I think we have most of what's on the menu. But don't forget to ask if they have any specials. One dinner with had lamb chops and it was cooked to perfection. Each entree is the right size- lots of different pasta dishes. The pizzas are pretty good. The starters are great for sharing. Can't go wrong with anything in the menu. Make sure you have room for dessert. Table side ice cream is pretty good. Place is large enough for big groups and party. They have a tasting menu as well.

Yelp
Basilico is doing really cool things with Italian food in this beautiful space at the new Evora. My two experiences here have been on par with fine dining on The Strip. Find them on the backside of the main building, behind Taps and Barrels. There's plenty of parking nearby. I'm not sure how that will change once the entire complex is built. One of my favorite parts of Basilico is the beautiful patio. Our weather has been just perfect to enjoy this. The patio is quiet and a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing meal with a friend or for date night. There's also a stretch of the bar outside. I love the details here like the beautiful glassware. The service here is excellent. Thomas was a delight. The entire staff is very welcoming and works together to make sure you have everything you need. The cocktails here were perfectly crafted. The menu is anything but boring. I can tell a lot of thought when into this. The Giardino was so smooth and clean, a lovely gin drink with basil and cucumber. The Sangria (on special) was delicious. It had the fruity notes you'd expect without being too sweet. This also had a little gin in it. The Tasting Menu at $85 a person was excellent. It was more than enough food and an excellent way to try a variety of items. This included three items from the antipasti menu, two pastas, two items from the secondi menu, and a shared dessert. The only change I'd suggest would be individual desserts. Gelato is an awkward shareable between friends. The Royal Miyagi Oysters were a stunning start to the meal with a blast of flavor between the strawberry and the Szechuan pepper. The Beef Carpaccio was so fresh and seasoned well. The Burrata was good, but not as exciting as the other two. The Spaghetti and Strozzapreti were both tasty. The flavors of both were simple with perfectly cooked pasta. My favorite was the Strozzapreti with the tasty veal. The Branzino and Short Ribs were both delicious proteins with lovely flavors on the plates. The Short Ribs were my favorite of the two. The Parmesan Gelato is a signature item here. The table side preparation is fun, but the actual gelato is so delicious. I loved the variety of flavors in the bowl and how they all work together to really engage your senses. For my second dining experience I enjoyed the Gnocco Fritto, Cavatelli Norcina, and Lemon Tart. The small Gnocco Fritto was simple, but delicious and plenty for two to share. The Cavatelli Norcina was rich and creamy with perfectly al dente pasta. The Lemon Tart was tasty with a lot of whipped cream on top. Two people could definitely share this. Overall, my favorites here were the Royal Miyagi Oysters, Gnocco Fritto, Beef Carpaccio, Strozzapreti, Short Ribs, and Parmesan Gelato. Do not skip on cocktails! I'm so excited about Basilico and their creative food and drinks. I hope to return while we still have our patio dining weather.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant deserves a 5 star rating, however I have to deduct a star both for service and portion size (or was it price based on portion??) Beautiful restaurant. Meticulously designed. The young lady at the front door was warm and inviting in her greeting and personality. Our ladies group chose this location for our monthly HH venture. We generally order everything off the HH menu regardless of how many items are on there. One of our ladies loves a nice Belvedere martini which is usually off the HH menu and true to fashion, this visit was no different. Two of us honor the season of Lent so alcohol was not an option for us. However our waiter was not impressed with our non alcoholic decision. Many places will suggest a mock-tail for us to enjoy. But it seems us sharing a bottle of sparkling water with lemon was the best we could hope for. I don't even know the name of our waiter since he never introduced himself. He just appeared. And after placing our drink order I truly think he was done with us since we had to flag down another server 30 min later to place a food order. Once we placed our order the servers were quick to bring out our selections. However clean up was another challenge. Onto the food. Delish. We ordered the 6 items off the menu and each one was very good. Did not realize gnocchi fritta was bread. I was expecting gnocchi so that kinda disappointed. Burrata with diced butternut squash was very good. Pizza was good but could have been cooked a little longer so it wouldn't have been wimpy when you picked up a slice. Pasta was good but ... $15 for a twirl or two ?? I know it's HH and your rent is high but $15 for a pasta app is a bit excessive. We had to order 2 so 6 of us could at least give it a try. Salad with arugula and fennel was very good. Cavatelli in a ragu sauce was very tasty as well. No desserts were offered to us. One of the ladies ordered a caffeine free cappuccino which never arrived. Checking the tab we weren't charged for it either. Dear business owner .. go through your receipts and look for our tab from 02/27. Your server isn't doing you any service. I won't be stealing him if I open a restaurant.

Yelp
My husband and I were looking for a restaurant to go to in the southwest side of town so I decided to check social media for new spots. I saw a couple of posts for Basílico so I came straight to Yelp to read up on it. We try to avoid Italian restaurants normally - we love pasta, we just try to be a little health conscious - but after seeing they do live music here, we decided, why not?! The restaurant is located in a complex that kind of reminded me of a nice Gramercy. As we walked up, I noticed the water feature and fire pits and a really pretty, classy entrance to the restaurant. We were sat right away and the musician for the night, Monroe, was performing beautifully. Our server was attentive and checked up on us pretty frequently. We tried two cocktails - they were good but a little pricey for the size. $17 goes down quick!! Also, another thing to note is you pay for the bread. $9 for bread and cracker sticks with a side of the oil and balsamic vinegar. For our mains, I ordered the cavatelli. It was really good - the sausage ragú was great. I would've wanted the pasta a little more Al dente though. My husband ordered the short rib - good but we had to ask for more sauce and my husband wished there was more meat. Their dessert menu was one of the areas I felt was lacking. Where's the tiramisu!?? We skipped dessert for the night. Overall, really cool spot. I love that they do live music every week. We'll be back!

Yelp
Cole our server was awesome! Food did not disappoint. Highly recommend the cavatelli! fresh shaved truffles really make the dish. also had the crab risotto which was loaded with crab and had a fresh lemon note that elevated the dish. seek this place out - well worth it!

Yelp
An experience equal to the massive lightning show nature put on this evening. Basillico continues to prove all the best Italian restaurants in Vegas are off Strip. Allow yourself to be tempted by a cocktail. The summer negroni burst forth of refreshing, almost citrus notes. The blue empress gin, seductive. The food is modern Italian, building on the classics that make up Italian cusine and emphasizing the use of minimal but high quality ingredients. Oh and it's fun for the palate. Tip: Order several antipasti and possibly a pizza to share. Order your own individual pasta and/or secondi. Only the "smoked cigar" is sold by the single. That said, the single best, most creative starter, the "Smoked Cigar". Think of this as a duck mouse spring roll with a sesame truffle ash. Lick the tip, dip it in the ash, take a bite, repeat. Playful and utterly delicious. The gnocco fritto speaks to the quality of their ingredients. A DIY mini sandwich making experience. Be sure to load up on the red onion lambrusco jam, brilliant with just the right amount of caramalized sweetness and balanced acidity to make the cured meat shine. The pizzas are very well made. Excellent chew on the blistered crust. Italian correct in every respect. Secondi. The server recommended scallops and oxtail, outstanding. Perfect sear on the scallops but the showstopper, the oxtail. Removed from the bone, whipped with foie, molded into a torchon, set, cut and finished in the pan and all of it glazed with a bone marrow bordelaise. So good, you can't stop eating. The service captures dining in Italy. Wrong orders being brought to the table, wrong quantities all thanks to the amplified live entertainment (very good BTW) but everyone just went with it. wrong Items comped, quantity problems corrected. It all worked out effortlessly. Outstanding selection of wines with heavy emphasis on Italy. Low off Strip markup. Good selection of wines by the glass. Finally, great live entertainment. A talented singer / pianist on this visit. Do go to the restroom to appreciate the music. Not making a joke. The house sound system is far superior to the sound bar that the musician has. A fun, playful take on modern Italian food. In a word, outstanding.

Yelp
We came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, did the tasting menu, and ordered a few other items off the menu. We enjoyed all of it. My favorite was the smoked cigar. The service was great, and we enjoyed our dinner with our friends and family. We will definitely come back and try some other dishes and get the smokes cigar again.

Yelp
I enjoyed the bread basket it came out very hot with a great variety of items. We also ordered a salad and beef carpaccio to start and had a crab risotto. Best was the coffee dessert it was the nice ending. I gave it five stars mostly for the service and ambience! Although we could have seated at a table we opted to sit and eat at the bar talking to our bartender Alexis she was great! She sold us on the food it just sounded like she was speaking it with an Italian accent and made the food sound more delicious. Presentation was beautiful food was a little above average. We also enjoyed a glass of red wine and couple of martinis. It was a nice setting with the entertainment in backdrop will definitely come back ! Not too crowded and great restaurant in for our local area.

Yelp
Had the opportunity for an exclusive chef's tasting at Basilico. Went in with an open mind, and left with an full belly and eyes wide open. What we found is arguably the best new restaurant in Las Vegas, certainly the best new Italian fare in town. We started the tasting with Neapolitan street food, which was excellent, with the frittata standing out as my favorite. Then, Chef took us on a journey through Cuttlefish, which featured three different types of prepared cuttlefish, all of which tasted fantastic. What followed was some dashi-braised octopus, some delicious smoked cigars served in an ashtray that featured sesame truffle ash and came hand-delivered in a cigar box. Then we moved into the pasta portion of the Tasting, which featured four very dynamically different types of pasta, served with varying proteins. My favorite was the mezze maniche, which featured artichokes, cinnamon and caviar (which added a perfect salt profile). We then shifted to the meat portion with incredible pairings of Oxfail and Scallops with a bone marrow bordelaise and then the secreto, a rare cut of pork that really popped with the potato sfogliata, mushrooms and mustard sauce. Finally, we hit the dessert portion that started with a nice transitional dish, artichoke with confit, milk and chamomile gelato. Then, Chef Di Caudo prepared our desserts table side, which included frangipane with figs, Earl Grey ganache and an incredible parmigiano gelato on lemon ginger pound cake, paired with spiced poached pear and vin brule. Highlight of my meal. Insane good. Basilico very well may be THE best Italian restaurant in Las Vegas right now. Chef Di Caudo he's operating on a whole other level than anybody I have experienced here in Las Vegas over the last calendar year (and I have a HUGE love for Chef Nicole Brisson's work). While it is a difficult location to find, I am sure it will soon become one of the prime spots for Italian fare here in town, especially in the south west part of town. The ambience had a great old school Vegas vibe, even live lounge singers and an upcoming industry night also is on the docket. Highly recommend the Basilico experience. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Without a doubt one of the most innovative and surprising restaurant finds in Las Vegas. Credit due toy buddy Ryan for the tip! I love a good cocktail. The Luce Spente is my favorite cocktail so far in Las Vegas. It's complex and delicious. Every flavor slowly develops as you're drinking it and as the ice melts. Take your time with it. This goes to the heart and vibe of Basilico. Every drink. Every menu item. The atmosphere. It all seem crafted with deliberate care and purpose. The drinks are experimentations, but not made with pretentious intent to tack on a few extra bucks. They're made because the crafters like experimenting with flavors and stumbled upon something fantastic at a party for friends. Stop by for happy hour. If you bring a friend or two, bet you stay nearer to closing time than you intended.

Yelp
This place is a must try! We have come here probably once a month since they opened. Each time we come is a wonderful experience. My husband and I bring our two young kids and they LOVE the margherita pizza and spaghetti. The risotto is always my go to. We have tried the tasting menu twice and both times we were very impressed. If you can, ask for Jolanta. She is THE BEST.

Yelp
I came for the grand opening party and then again last night for happy hour. This restaurant is a true GEM! Stunning views, a gorgeous patio with misters, and has an elegant water feature right next to the restaurant. The interior is beautiful and very elegant. The servers are SO friendly and extremely helpful! The food and cocktails are delicious! The happy hour is an AMAZING deal! They have fabulous craft cocktails from 4-6pm for ONLY $10!! I highly encourage everyone to check out this restaurant!!! I can't wait to go back for a full dinner!

Yelp
Mood: classy Happy Hour Now I cannot do a food review but the happy cocktails are a YES! Great happy hour specials in such a classy both indoor and outdoor space. I would recommend coming here for a business meeting, quick pregame before evening fun or a girls catch up time (which is what I was there for) and really was enjoying the vibes. Service was great. Sweet communicative server and bartender helped us most during our time there. Sat at green bar, best views of the restaurant and outside scenery. I'll always be a bar sitter when the vibes are so chill. I knew it was going to be a cute and classy place due to being an Italian ristorante of course. If you know you know. Cocktails: Paradiso 10/10: refreshing aged rum is always a must. The glass was so cute, the size was on point so you it was poured to the letter. I am a huge fan of amaretto and it's flavor. So tasty. If you like a drink right to the point then this one is a go to. Less sweet and more tangy with the lime freshness. Fiore de fiamma 10/10: now this is for the vodka drinkers. It's sweet, smooth, and the bits of honey added a good touch. For drinkers that like sweeter notes this is the drink for you. Overall when I am in a classy mood this is where I will go. Lots of seating and they have live music in the evenings.

Yelp
Now with some time to get acquainted, a "Grand Opening" making official what fans have already come to know, Chef Francesco Di Caudo's Basilico Ristorante Italiano at Evora finds the native of Italy looking to add much needed modernity to Las Vegas' Italian dining scene. Originally encountered at Ferraro's in 2015, contemporary ideas better suited to sophisticated palates carried over to Anima and then Di Caudo's first solo project, it is amidst upscale décor that diners are invited to relax on comfortable red chairs with stone, wood and Wine bottles adding elegance. Fusing inside to patio through the bar, Cocktails built on Italian Spirits offered alongside regional Wines, service is convivial but polished while describing a menu featuring housemade Pasta, Pizza and the sort of starters prone to wow. Priced appropriate to what is offered, Dashi Braised Octopus showcasing Francesco's willingness to explore flavors outside his motherland with precision, Basilico's Oysters frequently focus the diner on nuances while a daily special of Langoustines shined beneath exotic Fruits and Ginger. Continuing with Bottoni with Beef Cheeks, but not before Sea Urchin Custard alongside Bone Marrow and a cooling Chamomile palate cleanser, Bucatini also features Urchin brightened by Calabrian Sausag while Di Caudo's impeccable Risotto now comes perfumed by Pears and Gorgonzola. Now officially offering upright Mezze Maniche on the menu, a dish matured over the past eight years with Cinnamon and Caviar, Secondi feature Proteins perfectly cooked in the case of both skin-on Branzino and Rib Eye with bitter accouterments. Onward to Dessert none should leave Basilico Ristorante Italiano without tasting Liquid Nitrogen Parmigiano Gelato prepared tableside, nor a recently added Almond Cake with Passionfruit, Strawberries and Chocolate.

Yelp
This was our families first time here and we enjoyed it very much. We started off with there very delicious bread with seaweed-yuzu butter and the Mista salad . The bread is excellent and worth the few dollars you pay for it. I had the scallops and oxtails , and it was delicious. My husband had ribeye and asked for a little mashed potatoes to go with it and he enjoyed it very much. Our son had pizza and it was also very tasty. The service was very good, we had Corrine to take care of us. The ambiance was very beautiful, I love the modern style in the southwest area. Our only disappointment was wanting a dessert off the menu that I saw on the website it was a chocolate sphere. We were told they don't offer it anymore. Other than that, we really enjoyed this place and want to go back.

Yelp
Came here with my friend for dinner on Saturday night. This is a newer spot and it is beautiful. I love the vibe with the old Hollywood movie playing on the big screen as a backdrop to the overall ambiance. The service was fantastic, water cup always filled, they were very attentive to swapping out plates and just the right amount of checking in with how everything was tasting. We ordered a few mocktails that were yummy. Ordered their small plate burrata that was delish...that sauce! Got the diavolo pizza and the raviolo. Everything was delish and we had no room for dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Last night we went for the pasta tasting menu @ $55/ person at this relatively new Italian restaurant. We made the reservation a week in advance and we were very excited! Unfortunately, the experience was of a huge disappointment! My husband and I just returned from attending a week of culinary school in Modica, Sicily. So it was a nice surprise to hear the chef is from Sicily. The restaurant is very elegantly decorated. The outdoor area looked very charming overlooking a beautiful body of water & fire! The hostesses were very welcoming till we sat down then things started to go down hill. The waitress assigned to us was not very professional. She kept pushing us to order our drinks fast and order the food. We told her we are trying the pasta tasting menu. Then she just took away the regular menu and throw a piece of paper on the table without explaining anything. Well then our drinks came and they were great. The first course was a cold pasta with a tiny bit of caviar on it on a fork! It was more of a show than flavor. I love caviar but this tiny bit on a tasteless cold pasta ruined it for me. Then came half arancini but this was fried pasta instead of rice. After a long time a big plate came with 3 tiny dried out tortellini served with broth that came separately in tiny stainless steel pitcher. Then we waited at least 20 minutes for a little spaghetti aglio e olio which was just ok but needed some cheese and good olive oil that was not offered but we finally managed to get the waitress to bring some cheese. She didn't seem happy to even do that much!! Then a long wait..... so I complained to the waitress and then the nice hostess came and I told her tonight was a mistake so far. At this point a nice lady came to the table and said she was sorry! It was more of a problem with the server who did not explain the menu than food. I told her the portions are ridiculously small and the time between courses is very long for serving a tiny bit of pasta on a huge plate. Who would serve half arancini? It is like serving half a tiny meatball! So she said she would like to make it up to us by sending an extra dish of cavatelli that she said it was her favorite dish. When it came it didn't smell or taste good & it was too salty. Then we were served one ravioli with runny egg inside it! it was delicious. This was my favorite. Then came another dish that I didn't care for pici Al Cinghiale which is a very thick pasta like udon and I didn't care for the sauce. The desert was again tiny, one teaspoon of a gelato with a salty white cream! Not good at all. In conclusion, I love this restaurant's vibe but the food has a long way to go.

Yelp
Our friends recommended this place, it did NOT disappoint.... The food was so great, I didn't even think to take photos, I was too busy eating... ambiance is great... live music always a plus... but the real jewel is the food! We tried the tasting menu.. fabulous does not even begin to describe it....

Yelp
The southwest side of Las Vegas has been deprived of a place like this for over a decade. This place is incredible. The food, service, and ambiance is immaculate. On our first visit, we had close to 1/3 of the menu. There were no misses. Highlights would be the cigars, mousse, pizza (for the baby - they have high chairs!), carbonara, parmesan ice cream with lemon cake. Everything came out super fast and was delicious. Without peer in the Southwest - especially when considering Italian food.

Yelp
My friend and I had dinner here at Friday night. The place is elegant and modern with beautiful outside seating. Our server, Rebecca was awesome and very helpful suggesting yummy plates. The serving staff are so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered a lemon drop and white wine for drinks. We had scallops and a flavorful branzino fish, which were yummy. The whole experience was awesome and very well recommended. One suggestion to the owner of the restaurant. PLEASE MAKE YOUR SIGN BIGGER or more visible from the parking lot. Thanks.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in you are greeted at the door, super romantic ambiance and early lit. Our server suggested we start the evening with the carpaccio and the butter board. We also tried the yuzu seaweed butter that was great on the bread as well. We tried the oxtail and scallops for main. Love scallops and first time trying the oxtail and definitely enjoyed the dish and how it was paired together. We tried the Buona Notte (their twist on the espresso martini) really different had parmesan cheese shavings and pop rocks on the foam. Also tried the Giardino which was sweet and light definitely my favorite out of the two. Amazing food and Jillian our server was beyond knowledgeable and attentive! Highly recommend a visit here for date night or din din with friends. 100/100

Yelp
Hot new Italian restaurant in Evora (SW). Super cute complex that compliments this trendy, hot spot even more so. You walk in and are greeted by a floor to ceiling wine room, elegance and style are an immediate thought. We were greeted by the hostess and welcomed. While waiting a few moments to be seated the hostess asked if we wanted any water, that's a first for sure most don't offer water while waiting. We were seated and greeted by our server. He offered up recommendations for drinks which were greatly appreciated. Not many spots have dishes that totally stand out but Basilico did. Foiemisu - amazing! Incredibly delicious & full of flavor. It's a play on Foie Gras & tiramisu. I will definitely go back for that. Uovo Ravioli - if you like truffle you will LOVE this! Date night. Girls night. Just another night. Check this place out. It's a must!

Yelp
The ambiance, service and friendliness of staff was exceptional. Cocktails delicious. Few reasons for the 4 instead of 5 stars. While the food is tasty the portions are very small (we were 2 woman not big eaters). We started with the Carpaccio which was excellent. I had the halibut -it was slightly dry, still good but very small with barely any accompaniments. My friend had the spaghetti, again very tasty but tiny portion. For the prices charged they really need to increase the portion size. The cost to add a little more pasta or a few more veggies with the fish is negligible. It's a good thing we weren't very hungry. Also why charge for bread? Again it's these little things that impress or not your patrons.

Yelp
This place is tucked in the corner of Evora. I have been here a few times and the staff is nice and very attentive. The food is delish, a little pricey, but worth it. They even have a tasting menu. Great for date night or just dinner with your friends. When the weather is nice, they open up the bar area wall that has a nice view of the water fountain. A few nights a week they have live entertainment. Kicks up the atmosphere a bit more with the singing. If you are not hungry, grab yourself a drink or 2 at the bar!!

Yelp
Elegant modern ambience and absolutely delicious food. Tremendous service. We will be back. So happy we have a place like this in the neighborhood. Thank you, Basilico!

Yelp
It's truly fantastic to have a spot like this for locals. It brings an upscale dining atmosphere along with quality food and great service and entertainment. I've been a few times now and last visit, we brought a friend from out of town for her birthday. We experienced spectacular service at the bar with Anthony while listening to their entertainer Sean at the piano and providing vocals. Both very skilled at their crafts. Then, on to a beautiful dinner with attentive, lovely service from Cole and Ambrosio. From the fresh bread, to the pasta, to the salads and mains, you can't go wrong here. A little hard to find, but worth the hunt and a true, blue neighborhood gem!
