The 15 Best Restaurants In Nassau, Bahamas 2024

"Located in the East Street Plaza, Bask is a great Happy Hour spot with some of the best burgers in Nassau. We’re huge fans of their messy lamb burger with sauteed mushrooms, vegetables, yogurt mint sauce, and bacon, all on a brioche bun. Their Happy Hours run from 4-7pm Sundays through Thursdays, with buy-one-get-one half-off specials—perfect if you want to escape your all-inclusive on a weekday." - ashleigh sean rolle

I had the Shrimp tempura roll, shrimp fried rice, and beef fried rice. All of it was heavenly. Well seasoned, fresh, and flavorful. The rice dishes weren’t too oily and salty. Great portion sizes, great prices. Can’t wait to be back.

This was my second visit and definitely not my last! The quality of the food and the burst of flavors keep me coming back. Here's a breakdown of the dishes I tried both times: HAMACHI SERRANITO – My absolute favorite! This was the reason I came back. It’s flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced. A solid 100/10 – a must-try! Tuna Tataki – Another hit. I loved it so much I ordered it twice. Beautifully prepared. 9/10 Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Cake – Delicious and also worth repeating. I didn’t really get the “spicy” kick, but the flavor was still amazing. 10/10 Balsamic Glazed Grouper – I really enjoyed the flavor, but the fish cuts were a bit too thick for my taste. I’d prefer this dish made with hamachi. Still, a good one. 8/10 USUZUKURI (Dry Miso) – This one didn’t land for me. It was too lemony and lacked the depth of flavor the other dishes had. 4/10 Grilled Rack Lamb with Pumpkin Purée – A miss, unfortunately. The flavors just didn’t come together and it felt bland. 3/10 Bask Burger – A big surprise! Packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. So good I had to order it again. 10/10 On both visits, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. It became easily one of my favorite dining spots in the Bahamas. Can’t wait to come back again!

Upon my arrival to bask I noticed the parking lot was full, but i was able to get a parking spot right away. When I walked inside, it was a completely different atmosphere, from the wall art to the hanging lanterns, they even had art on the ceiling. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into the design and aesthetics of the restaurant. They did have a hostess. Our sever was Ednisha who was very helpful, in explaining our item that we ordered as they came out. She was very helpful and brought our meals out piece by piece, as they were ready. I assume that’s their standard as their food range isn’t that large and they had lots of takeout orders as well from what I observed. Overall our service was good! The drinks were average, as it relates to their presentation and flavor. The wow factor for the night was the sushi boat and the lamb rack! All of the food items presentation was very nice. I will definitely be back and hope that I can be wowed by something else.

The look of the restaurant was A+. Very clean. Menu is packed. Food was good. Definitely would come back for some chicken fried rice ! Waiter was good until time to pay she was hovering over us to see if we’d press TIP and when we ask a question she didn’t answer and quickly dismissed us because we decided not to tip. Other than that ending the outting was great. We will ignore her and go back again to try more things.

It's not often I award 5 stars but this place is definitely flying under the radar. Seeming definitely out of place for the location, it is definitely fine dining for an affordable price in a local (non-touristic) location. Was told about this place randomly in a bar and decided to check it out and I can say I was definitely pleased. It is a cashless restaurant so bare that in mind. The food was delicious and the service was great. Had a steak which was seasoned to perfection. Was skeptical about a sushi restaurant being in the location it was in but i definitely was wrong about that stereotype. Bartender spoke like we were friends for years. Definitely will be back.

BASK was good for me. We went there for my sons graduation dinner. We were a party of 7. I enjoyed the food. Wasn't crazy about the Calamari 3/5. However, the Sushi was excellent 5/5( Shrimp Tempura and Reef Conch Roll ) , and we also had their burgers, which were juicy and delicious 5/5. The mix fried rice I loved 5/5, and the wings were very good with a kick of spiciness to it 5/5. I love trying restaurants' signature drinks, so I tried their "Elegant Geisha" loved It 😍. It was not only tasty but beautiful a real female pleaser. Our server Sherma was excellent and gave great recommendations for us try. My only thing is I don't feel it's ideal size wise for a large party, the inside to me is a little small. I would definitely go back again, but just to hang with a few friends for drinks and sushi.

Excellent! The service was amazing, Tanisha the bartender was an exceptional bartender. The sushi was incredible. The Bask Burger is a definite must. It melts in your mouth. The salad dressing for the salad was superb! I absolutely love this place. I will definitely return. The service is always superb! The owner is so nice and funny! Everytime I go, I enjoy myself. The Mango Mule is another phenomenal drink! Never a disappointment when I go to BASK!
