The Best Restaurants Around Atlanta for a Steak Dinner

"Now in its sophomore year, Bask has firmly settled into a position as one of the suburban city’s swankiest steakhouses. Owned by the team behind From the Earth Brewing Company in the same complex, start a meal off at Bask with appetizers of tempura-fried lobster tail, elk carpaccio, or Heritage Fire Pork Belly before digging into a wide selection of Prime steaks and even a vegan filet. A tasting for two — the World Wagyu Tasting — and a three-course prix fixe for two offer versatile dining options. Reservations highly encouraged." - Su-Jit Lin

Okay, I’ll admit it—I was totally skeptical. You know the type: overhyped restaurants with flashy reviews from foodies and influencers who clearly got their meals comped. But let me tell you… Bask Steakhouse in Roswell is the real freakin' deal. This place barks AND bites—in the best way possible. From the moment we pulled up to the gorgeous shared entrance with its sister spot, From the Earth Brewery, the vibe was already a win. We were greeted right away by the manager and host. Sure, our table was near the door (not ideal), but we forgot all about that the second Jessica came on the scene. Y’all—Jessica is a rockstar. Warm, bubbly, all smiles, and full of perfect recommendations. Even when she wasn’t 100% sure about something, she went to find out—then came back with answers and a mezcal bottle in hand so I could snap a pic. Who does that?! Legends, that’s who. Now… the food. THE. FOOD. If you skip everything else I say, do NOT skip the yeast rolls. I don’t know what magical sorcery is baked into those things, but it’s some of the best bread I’ve ever had—period. We kicked things off with grilled and fried lobster bites (because why choose?), a crab cake, and, yes, those rolls. Then came the main event: a trio of steaks, each more mouthwatering than the last. I went for the 16 oz wagyu ribeye—flavor bomb, even without the garlic herb butter. For sides, we shared broccolini, a French-style Hasselback potato, and the ultra-decadent seafood mac and cheese. A quick heads-up: that mac is dangerously cheesy—like, lactose-intolerant folks, proceed with caution (but also… worth it). We were so full, we had no room for dessert. The next time, we will pack an extra tummy. Bottom line: Make your next reservation at Bask Steakhouse. Trust the hype this time. Tell them Byanka sent you and definitely, absolutely, without question—ask for Jessica.

I want to sincerely apologize for my missing steak in the photos—but let me tell you, the experience more than made up for it. My guest and I sat at the bar and were lucky to have Eva as our bartender. From the moment we arrived, she was a true professional—warm, attentive, and absolutely on point with our drinks. She not only crafted the perfect cocktails but also made sure every detail of our dining experience was flawless. When my steak initially came out less rare than I prefer, Eva noticed my expression before I even said a word and immediately stepped in. “I can fix this,” she said confidently, and within moments, the manager Steve was at our side reassuring me that they would make it right. And they did—flawlessly. The steak was returned just how I like it: succulent, moist, and bursting with flavor. The food overall—from the crisp, fresh salad to the beautifully cooked steak, and the standout Pink Panther cocktail—was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate and stylish, evoking the charm of an old-school speakeasy that I genuinely appreciate. While the food alone is worth raving about, the exceptional service from Eva and Steve truly elevated the entire evening. They are a dream team—professional, personable, and committed to excellence. Because of them, I will absolutely be back. Update!!!!-We had the bone marrow and lobster morsels for the first time. The bone marrow was succulent, and even better with the toast points. We tried the lobster morsels and they came with a honey mustard and warm butter. They were tender and the basket was full. But I must admit that the chocolate flour less cake with the cherry compote was the perfect ending to the meal. You must try it all.

The food and our server, Jessica, were really wonderful. It was our wedding anniversary and Bask is pretty close to our house so we figured we would try it out. The restaurant is not a very big location, but it has a great sultry feeling. We sat in a central hightop off the bar looking out into the rest of the restaurant. The salad and the desert were my absolute favorite. Despite these wonderful aspects of the evening there was one issue. It seemed like there was only 1 front of the house manager on that evening. He did such a great job stopping at each and every table around us and even going behind the bar to talk to patrons that were eating at the bar. During the nearly 2 hours that we dined he did not stop by our table even 1 time. We were seated in a front and center space, to the point where he couldn't help but to walk back and forth past us MANY times. This was rather frustrating as we were the only couple of color and started to wonder if it was specific to that. Although the food was wonderful that left us feeling pretty put off.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bask Steakhouse in for my birthday dinner…and it was truly a memorable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Chris and Lizzy, whose friendly and professional demeanor set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Roman, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu and the service he provided. He made sure our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. We ordered the steak and short rib which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The yeast rolls were absolutely delicious, warm, and freshly baked, adding a wonderful touch to the meal. Lastly the seafood mac cheese was delicious and hearty. The ambiance of Bask is both cozy and upscale, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. I highly recommend Bask Steakhouse for anyone looking for excellent food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Lobster morsels were fantastic, the seafood Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were ok... The American wagu steaks melted in your mouth and were the star of the show. One of the better steak houses in the area but definitely more pricey than some other places like Chops or The Oak at Avalon. I'll try then again as the steak was top notch!

Google
Wow oh wow. I have to leave a review for this place. I’m a huge steak connoisseur and this place is on the top of the list. Roman was our server and he was stellar. I was loving everything so much and purchased a gift card for a friend. I accidentally left it there and they helped get it back with no issues. Chris who works the front is the man. Thank you so much ! 5 Stars! ✨

Oooh, SO glad I popped in for a bite and to check out this place! Bone 🦴 marrow with a complimentary shot of sherry from the canoe was an unexpected treat before the flourless chocolate cake with the raspberry coulis which will make for 2 more treats to go! Will definitely return and often thanks to Elliott, Tyler and Steve and Eva! Great first experience!

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall in East Roswell. This place is beautifully decorated and has all the touches of a classic steakhouse. We live right across the street and always wonder if the place is open because the curtains are drawn and the patio is usually empty but let me tell you this is one the best steakhouse I have been to in the metro and competes if not surpasses the like of Marcel and Kevin Rathburn in the city. The food here was impeccable and all of the dishes surpassed my expectations. The yeast roll special and the marinated tomato salad were absolute stand outs. Will definitely be visiting again and so excited to have a phenomenal world class steak house within walking distance of our house.

Yelp
Bask is a beautifully decorated restaurant. I would describe it as dark and moody; a great place for a date night or to catch up with friends. Our server was very competent and well-versed with the menu. Drink service was very prompt. As to the food, absolutely delicious. From the seafood tower, to the Caesar salad, almost everything was to my liking. For my entrée, I had the spinalis and seafood mac & cheese and both were cooked to perfection. The broccolini was a bit overcooked as it lost its green vibrancy during preparation. Highly recommend grabbing the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. Overall, a solid experience and will recommend others.

Yelp
Enjoyed a nice girls night out with friends and it was my first time at the restaurant. I was very excited yo try some of the items on the menu because the Yelp was so high my friend has had some really meals here before. I ordered the Rib Eye, Broccolini, Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding (and subsequently the Apple Galette w/ salted caramel ice cream). The steak was cooked very nicely and had good flavor but it didn't impress or stand out more than steaks I've had at other places, which is what I was anticipating. The broccolini was good but could've been cooked just a bit more. I like veggies with a bite but the stalks were a bit more firm than I prefer. The bread pudding was beautiful and looked liked it was going to be a party in my mouth but came in flat as it lacked the decadence and cinnamon roll flavor I was hoping for. It was also kind of dry. The star of the night (yes, there is one) was the Apple galette. I returned the bread pudding because nobody at my table liked it and orders the apple galette instead which everyone enjoyed, and that Ice Cream needs to be sold by the point- it was remarkably balanced and creamy. A 10/10. The customer service was phenomenal and the cocktails were delicious. I would definitely try something else on the menu if invited to the restaurant again by friends, but don't think it made my list of go-to steakhouses so I wouldn't go on my own.

Yelp
Our waiter Alexander was very nice and patient with us. I thought this place had reasonable prices for a steakhouse with unique cocktails and appetizers to offer. The ribeye was cooked perfectly rare and seasoned so well. The ceaser salad was pretty standard and on the creamy side which is not bad but a little heavy for a salad. I really enjoyed the BBQ shrimp appetizer as the polenta was packed with flavor and delicious just by itself. I would go back here over any other steakhouse in the Roswell, Sandy Springs area. Wish I took pictures that were not at an angle but the drinks had too good of a buzz to them.

Yelp
I am a food snob that has been able to travel around the globe... The atmosphere was delightful, the staff were kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Extensive wine list has some great options. I think the pricing was high, especially for the Justin selection, which I love. Yeast rolls were piping hot served in a cast iron skillet, but the bottoms tasted of metal and we cut the blackened bottoms off. The roll itself tasted like a hamburger bun, dry and dense. The honey butter helped... Asparagus side was beautifully presented, nice and hot, but the level of salt made them inedible... I scrapped off some of the salt seasoning and they had a nice flavor but could have used some more roasting (no char markings on any side). Ribeye steak was cooked and served perfectly, but the demi glaze tasted canned. The amount of seasoning on the steak made it way too salty. I scrapped an entire layer of salt off my steak... Our lips burned from the amount of salt used... Over all not a good food experience even though we loved the setting and staff.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time celebrating my father's birthday. We started off with the elk carpaccio and burrata (pictured); both delicious. My husband and I shared the steak tasting (pictured), which was phenomenal. My favorite was the Wagyu followed by the spinalis then the filet. My parents had the 8 ounce fillet and we all shared mashed potatoes, seafood mac & cheese, broccolini, and carrots. My husband who hates carrots, actually love them! We finished the meal with cinnamon bun bread pudding, which was the perfect ending to a great meal. It was so good that I texted a couple of my mom group texts to tell them about it (about 40 women).

Yelp
This is my husband and I's favorite date spot. It's quaint and has gorgeous interior design. We usually sit at the bar, and all the bartenders are friendly and kind. The burrata salad is the best I've ever had. My husband gets the wedge salad and loves it as well. The craft cocktails are very good (I like Porky's revenge) and the wine list is enough. Steaks are good and sides are fun. We like the French potato.

Angie L.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Bask and it was amazing. We shared a ribeye and a salad and it was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The bar is great as well and the Old Fashioned was on point. Service is top notch and the vibe is very moody and dark. Perfect for a date night or quiet enough for a business meeting. We will be back.

Yelp
Thanks to Stephen and all of the staff, waiters,Chefs and bartenders for making my son's birthday so special. This is our third time at this restaurant and each time gets better and better we will be back. The food is delicious. Great selection of wine and wonderful cocktails. see you soon guys!

Yelp
We had a spectacular dinner at Bask, celebrating holidays in advance of a lot of weeks of separation due to work commitments, which would otherwise keep us apart. We had made reservations bc weekend evenings are busy. The vibe inside is trendy and the lights are dimmed down for a relaxed feeling. When you enter, you notice the center piece bar, and the glass enclosed walk in wine storage. The art also was also modern / interesting. All of hosts were super courteous. The drink orders were brought out by the bar tend, and the courses were brought out by the someone from kitchen. Everyone worked as a team. For starters we ordered a half dozen oysters, Nicole had a margarita and I had an old fashioned. The ice cub in my bourbon had a B stamped into it - which was a nice cube. Nicole's marg was better than my bourbon. I was a little jealous. For the main course, we I had a ribeye steak with a side of mashed potatoes, Nicole had the chicken and a side of a couple of sea scallops. Menu options are a la cart. Each of these meals were delicious. We paired our mains with a bottle of Pinot Noir from Pasa Robles, California. We had room for desert and chose the creme brûlée and chocolate lava cake, which were also excellent. Really enjoyed this experience. And definitely would come again.

Yelp
My honest feeling here is that I'm coming back often for the cocktail bar. Their cocktail program should be nationally recognized. They are made to perfection with some really talented people. The menu as well is really well thought out with some great choices. The food is also good but just doesn't rise to the price point they have it at. I believe it's the most expensive steakhouse in the area but the food, again while good, doesn't rise to the level it needs to to justify the price. So you will see me back here often with a cocktail in my hand but probably not in the dining room for a full meal.

Yelp
Nice place! It's a hidden gem in the Roswell area. Went there for a birthday dinner for one of my closest friends. It was very good. Parking was awesome. No valet you could just walk in. Drink options were plenty. I got the chicken and macaroni and cheese. The portion could be shared for maybe three people. Definitely worth it. Customer service was great. I forgot the surname but he was awesome. Will definitely go back

Yelp
Went to Bask with Wife and two teenagers. Made reservations, arrived and was promptly seated. Great ambience and immediately greeted by a server. The seafood "tower" was a bit of a joke for $120 . I cant imagine the chef sending that out and being proud of it. There was one piece of King Crab the size of my index finger, 4 raw oysters and 4 baked oysters, 2 shrimp (really) and some fried concoction that was great - just not sure what it was. Everything tasted great, but it just wasn't nearly enough food to justify the cost. $60 would have been more reasonable. I had the the french onion soup which was very very good, and my wife and daughter shared a salad that was good (but with too much dressing they both agreed.) We all ordered the 8 oz filet mignon; they were cooked perfectly, and Son and Wife both said 'best steak they have ever had". I found the seasoning a bit too salty personally, but the quality of the beef was apparent. Lobster mac and cheese was very good as well. I recommend the restaurant and will go back, just won't be ordering a seafood tower again.

Yelp
We came here based on recommendations from a coworker. It was a special occasion being my wife's birthday and I wanted a special spot. Bask is very special for sure! This is a creme de la creme of steakhouses! A luxurious location next to From the Earth eatery that I highly recommend for those that want to taste what steak can be at its best! The ambiance is shear luxury and fine dining, the service is exceptional and the food was outstanding! We ordered the chefs tasters meal for my wife, my youngest and me. It consisted of filet, wagyu, ribeye and elk. I'll starts buy saying my family did not like the elk. It was marinated in a sauce and not cooked to a normal steak consistency. It was less firm and had almost a chocolate hint to it. They didn't care for it but I ate every bite of it! It was fantastic and I would order it separately for a full meal. The ribeye was a special house cut that really wasn't called a ribeye I just don't remember what they called it. It is their signature cut and every bit melted in your mouth. Flavor galore! Another steak well worth top billing anywhere. The filet was the best my wife has ever had... she said. She likes it Pittsburg style charred on the outside and medium rare on the inside and they seared it to perfection. She raved about it for weeks. I didn't much care for the wagyu. I know the most expensive piece of meat on the platter and honestly I liked all of the others better. Not to say it was bad just that everything else was so good that really there was no reason to spend the outrageous money on the wagyu. It just wasn't exceptional enough when compared to the other fantastic selections. My oldest had the Southen fried chicken in pan jou. It came with a cornbread purée that my son is still talking about months later! I tried a bit and have to say I would be tempted to get this even over some of the steaks. It was scrumptious! Full of rich flavors, the chicken was moist and the purée was outstanding! For sides we had the Sautéed corn and the Hassleback potatoes. Both of which could have been the stars of a meal at any other location. They were bursting with flavor and just complimented the steaks so well it was like they were melded together. After we stuffed ourselves we decide to truly do it like the Roman's did and just push more down in the form of desert. The Buttermilk cheese cake with raspberry compote and the Cinnamon roll bread pudding were out of this world. I love bread pudding and this was exceptional. Sweat good and warm. Needless to say we were certainly gluttons on this day. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Even though I had to leave a kidney to help pay the check after I emptied my bank account and maxed out my credit cards. Yeah the meal cost that much... but it was worth it!!

Yelp
4.25 stars. Bask is a very good addition to the area steakhouse scene. The space has a great steakhouse vibe and the food and drink are terrific. When you arrive to this strip center steakhouse you'll find plenty of parking. Entering the restaurant you'll notice a large bar to the left. The back bar has a nice display of bottles, especially bourbons and scotches. Adjacent to the bar are tables, so you can eat either in the bar area or in the main dining area behind the bar. Bar area dining is busy and fun for people watching, while the main dining room has a more relaxed and sexy steakhouse feel. Drinks are first rate, and the wine list is pretty good, too. There is a decent selection of wines by the glass with Prisoner a fine choice of steak-complimentary red if you don't want to spring for a whole bottle. Appetizers highlights include a very good crabcake, and a pricey shellfish selection with shrimp, oysters, lump crab and king crab. You get what you pay for, though. The rock shrimp with sriracha citrus aioli is just ok - a little greasy from the deep fryer and a little underwhelming overall. The star at Bask is the steak. Perfectly done and delicious. We've had several cuts and none disappointed, but last night the 36 ounce Porterhouse was notably outstanding. We asked for it medium and sliced off the bone so Miss M. and I could share. Cut a little over an inch thick, doneness was perfect, just below medium, and both the strip and filet sides of the bone were super tender and flavorful. As an accompaniment try the Hasselback potato. It's a whole baked potato, thinly sliced and covered in a béchamel of French truffle or American cheese. Miss M. loves the truffle, and I like the cheese. Desserts include a wonderful cinnamon roll bread pudding and a fancied-up cheesecake with lemon curd, raspberry gelee and blackberry sauce. The latter is heavy, rich and good, but I always prefer simple NY style cheesecake, and Bask's version is a little over-the-top for me. All in all Bask does a terrific job. Service is warm and friendly. The atmosphere is appropriately dark and sexy, and the food is delicious. Bask is not a cheap date, but this is someplace where you'll definitely come back. Have a Goose martini, up with a twist for me and enjoy. Cheers!

Yelp
Dined here last night for a friends birthday. Greeted and sat immediately upon arrival. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the trout which happened to be the market fish, trout was on a bed of zucchini and onions and topped with duck gravy, I opted for the gravy on the side. The trout was delicious, light but filling. My friend ordered the pan roasted chicken, substituted the grits for mashed potatoes. The chicken and mashed potatoes were really good. For dessert I ordered the cheesecake and my friend ordered the cinnamon roll bread pudding, both were delicious but the lemon curd with the cheesecake was my favorite. The inside of this restaurant is really nice and provides a great ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Back to Bask! From the food to the service, all outstanding. Two drinks and broiled oysters, wedge salad, crab cakes, elk tenderloin with potato gratin.....bread pudding. Kudos to Tyler (bar), Juan (server) and Sophie (hostess)! Awesome customer service!

Yelp
What are the prices? I've tried their website, "yelp!" and alls I see is "Reservation".

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place! As a frequent visitor of other high end steak houses in the area - the food and service was (at the risk of sounding hyperbolic) out of this world amazing. The seafood was amazingly fresh, the steak was perfect, the sides were HUGE, and the service was impeccable. Honestly, being a server for a party of 6 and balancing check-ins with "leave them alone" is an art - they nailed it. This place is pricey and worth every penny. Incredible, from the decor, to Elliott the mixologist, to the chef creations / HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

John L.

Yelp
Great cuisine, superb service, chill and comfortable environment! Had the elk carpaccio which is superb, a dozen oysters that were clean and briny! Oh Martini's are perfectly balanced based on your choice!

Yelp
The service was awesome. The food was VERY salty. Cocktails were great but very expensive.

Yelp
We LOVE FTE and we're excited to try their steakhouse and "bask" in its deliciousness... We made a 7p reservation bc we're adults and dining out WITHOUT our children. We entered into a very chic and impressive bar area with booth/stool seating around the outside. Behind the bar was ample dining with tables for large and more intimate parties. We were sat at the furthest table from the entrance in the bar area. It was a round table which made it slightly awkward for two people to figure out the best way to sit so that we could look at each other while enjoying a nice conversation but both "fit" at the table. We ended up sitting side-by-side with one of us eating at a slightly awkward angle. However, they didn't seat anyone at the table next to us until we were mostly done and I commend a restaurant for knowing it's space like that (whether that was on purpose or not). Whatever drink I ordered was delicious and super pretty - I think it was a gin drink. The husband had an old fashioned - done very well. We split a bottle of cab during dinner. We had the tuna appetizer. I think we should have gone with the crab cakes but we were looking for something lighter before our steaks. We split a wedge salad and it came out on separate plates and honestly was big enough for two... see the photo. The steaks were DELICIOUS. Cooked perfectly. My med rare had a nice pink center. I think next time I'll tell them to err more to the rare but it was good no matter what. We had the hassle back potato - American style and it was delicious. Being the heathens we are, we even used some of that cheesy goodness on our steaks. Not every bite but a few. No dessert for us but we did go next door for a cider before heading home. All in all delicious.

Yelp
Bask Steakhouse is truly a staple in Georgia. As many other reviews mentioned, Bask is located inside a shopping plaza. Although it sits beside other cool staples- this one is amazing. It stands out, and it has a very sleek, upscale look to it. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the hostess. I was there to celebrate my partner's birthday. They acknowledged this as soon as I provided my name for the reservation. I initially booked seating in the lounge area; I intended to secure the dining area but needed help determining the seating based on the photos online. I appreciate the hostess taking the time to explain to me the difference. I could not have been more pleased with the change. It was very romantic and intimate, and the booth was more secluded. Alexander was our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and recommended some fantastic items. My partner ordered the 8oz filet with regular Mac & Cheese and an old fashion to drink. I ordered the 12o Strip steak- well, with mashed potatoes. My partner and I have agreed that this has to be the best steak we have ever had. Both steaks were cooked well, the seasoning was immaculate, and it wasn't fatty. We sat in silence for a moment because it was that good. Afterward, Alexander brought my partner a cinnamon roll dessert for his birthday. It was flavorful; however, we were full from our meal. We had asked if it could be boxed to go, and they agreed, but when we arrived home, we noticed that they never brought it back out. This was a minor miss and didn't take away from the overall experience. I will share that price-wise; it's in the ballpark of any upscale steakhouse. I spent a little over $200, including tip, but it was well worth it. The portion sizes were ideal, the sides were shareable family style and were about $13 each. While you have the option to indulge in steak, they do have some less expensive food choices. Even a day later, my partner continues to rave about how good the steak is and plans to visit it with some colleagues soon. I will put this on my list to revisit.

Yelp
Had a girls night out and we decided on Bask for dinner. Really cute restaurant, small and intimate. We had reservations for 7:30, but wasn't seated for another 20 or so mins. I deducted 1 star for that. While we waited, we sat at the bar and had a drink. I had the Lost Boys and it was delicious! The service was pretty good. Our server didn't elaborate enough for one of my friends when she asked him questions about the menu, but he was very attentive to us nonetheless. I decided on the Lamb Rack and it was cooked to perfection. My other friend who ordered the same felt differently about her meal. The lamb wasn't cooked to her liking, but she just dealt with it. Price wise I thought some of the options were a little pricey, but not overwhelming ridiculous. We enjoyed ourself overall. I'll go back for sure!

Yelp
First off this restaurant is well put together, the ambiance is definitely a 10/10. The service was good and our waiter was very attentive. But... the food was so underwhelming, I've been to quite a few steakhouses in Atlanta & surrounding areas and I expected more. I ordered the Bone-in 20oz Cowboy cut Ribeye and it was super mid. I ordered it medium and somehow it had a burnt after taste. Didn't even finish it. The mash potatoes were good, the creamed spinach came out lukewarm but they took care of it for us. The smoked old fashion was pretty good. I'm neither here nor there with this restaurant, definitely not a top recommendation for me as far as steakhouses go.

Yelp
Our first time here and it was well worth it. Had the Rib-eye and it was cooked to perfection. Also the Asparagus was some of the best I had ever had at a restaurant. The gentleman who took care of our table was excellent. He was very thorough and helped some of the people in the party with their questions. I will also say the ambience here is great. Makes you feel like you are somewhere else other than Roswell. Loved the iceberg chandeliers. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back.

Yelp
We had a great time for our anniversary dinner! They made it very personable with personalized menus and with our dessert. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. We had the oysters, which were tasty. Then we had the French onion soup and it was amazing! We also got the seafood Mac n cheese and a ribeye and filet. All were excellent and perfectly cooked! We had the corner booth which they chose for us since we were celebrating and it was perfect. The ambiance was great and very cool inside.

Yelp
My wife and I dined this evening to celebrate my birthday. We looked for a special and high quality steakhouse. Bask lived up to our expectations. We had the Chatel Farms American Wagyu and it was rich with flavor with a nice sear/ crust. From the starters to the main course and dessert, the food and service was exceptional. The craft cocktails were well done and the wine recommended by our waiter, Alexander, was a great compliment to the food. We had the Apple Galette was awesome to cap a great dinner with coffee. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special meal and experience,.

Yelp
Excellent food but a bit on the pricy side. Wait staff was extremely attentive. Fantastic bourbon selection and original Old Fashions. It was packed when we visited with a party of six. Tables were close together and it was loud, but in a fun way! From the Earth (FTE) is a micro brewery next door and is owned by the same guy. They serve FTE beers which are fantastic! Located in a strip shopping center, there is ample parking. It is good to have a higher-end place like this in the neighborhood.

Yelp
10/10 in every area. I sat at the bar with Tyler and Elliot, and they were great. Very attentive and knowledgable. The vibes are upscale without being stuffy. Steak was PERFECT. Absolutely must get the lavender crème brûlée. incredible.

Yelp
I attended a birthday dinner last night at Bask Steakhouse. My husband and I were the first to arrive and they promptly sat us in the main dining room. When you walk in, the decor and ambiance is breathtaking. However, it isn't a huge restaurant and the kitchen is open to the main dining room, so it can get very smoky in there. Bask recently opened, so it was very packed. Once we were seated, we were greeted by Alexander, our waiter. He provided us with some drink recommendations and we placed our order. We ordered prior to the rest of the party joining us, but it still took awhile for them to come. To start, we ordered the Laurel's cider and two sides to the same coin. By the time we received our drinks, the rest of the party had arrived. We really enjoyed both drinks. Alexander asked us if we were ready to order because we had to place our order for everything at this time. I was hesitant about this method, as I didn't want our appetizers and entrees to come out at the same time. He ensured us that this wouldn't happen and all of our food would come out fresh. He gave us some time to review the menu and asked if we wanted bread service (I thought this would have been offered in the beginning when we first sat down, but this wasn't the case). We ordered an assortment of appetizers, which included pork belly, broiled oysters, crab cake, and a lobster tail. There were a variety of thoughts about the appetizers, but the biggest takeaway was the broiled oysters weren't even hot or broiled. I had one and couldn't eat anymore because they were lukewarm and didn't taste cooked all of the way. For entrees, majority of the table ordered steaks and the lamb racks. Additionally, a few guests ordered entrees, such as scallops and a fried lobster tail, along with the seafood macaroni and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes as sides. I was excited to receive my entree since the appetizer was a disappointment, but unfortunately the entree was a let down as well. My steak and mushrooms came out cold. It was inedible. I had to mention it to Alexander and he said he would take care of it. My steak was presented back to me, I'm assuming by the manager, and it was still cold. He said he thought I didn't like the way it was prepared, but I said it was the temperature of my entire entree. It was brought back to me a third time with no improvements. This time I just kept it since they weren't really trying to make it right. I truly couldn't understand how a steak, fresh off the grill, could come out cold. The best and hottest thing I had was the seafood macaroni and cheese. Alexander did bring me a side of creamed spinach and it was okay, but still didn't make my entree edible. Everyone else didn't have the best things to say about their food either. I'm not sure if these are new restaurant mistakes or this will be the standard for this restaurant, but I really hope they make improvements, as it truly has potential to be so much better. We all ordered more drinks and desserts to end our dinner. The desserts we ordered were the buttermilk cheesecake, crème brûlée, campfire and the cinnamon roll bread pudding (table favorite). Overall, this visit to Bask steakhouse was underwhelming and didn't really fulfill my expectations. There is a lot of room for improvements to the food and service. *My favorite things: ambiance, drinks, and seafood macaroni and cheese*

Yelp
Last night was our 5th or 6th time dining at Bask. Each time it gets better as we find our favorite menu items that we keep going back to again and again. Do not miss the Elk Carpaccio - it's one of those items that no one else in town has on their menu and it's delicious. Also, the pork belly app and the seafood tower are excellent starters. We love Little Alley for steak, and Bask is right on par. We love the Porterhouse and like to get it for the table to share - the kitchen will slice it for you. But all of their steaks are incredible. The char they get from their grill is what Bask does so well. For sides, The French Hasselback potatoes YOU CANNOT MISS! Amazing. So is the seafood Mac and cheese. And the cheesecake for dessert is light and delish with a little lemon flavor, seriously good. Finally, the service is great. They pace the meal in a way that you don't feel rushed, yet you aren't there for hours. The wait staff is excellent. Raman waited on us last night and killed it. Shout out to Elliott, behind the bar and Steve, the owner who takes time with every guest to thank them for dining. Bask knows what they're doing.

Yelp
So I've been coming here since April I believe and it's always such a great experience. Staff is so nice and the food is always amazing!

Yelp
First time here and will definitely be back. LOVE the ambiance and style of the restaurant. Kind of European meets art deco meets sexy! A small place but cozy and cool. The bar area is very nice, just a little tight between the stools and the tables right behind it. We had a resv. at 7 and didn't get seated til 7:20-7:30? But the drinks were great! French martini was spot on. The steaks were amazing - wonderful sear on the outside and cooked perfectly. I had the tomato burrata salad and it was soooo good- as good as what I had in Italy. BF had french onion soup and said it was great. We got the goat cheese creamed corn and Hasselback potatoes as sides. They were good - not outstanding. Our server, sorry can't recall name, was very attentive and knowledgable. He did a great job. 4 stars due to wait for table and average side dishes but still great!

Yelp
We came out to Bask for an anniversary dinner. Service was impeccable. We were catered to from the moment we stepped in the door. We did the steak tasting for two which included wagyu strip, filet, and spinalis. Which was sooooooo delicious! We also included the sautee'd corn and the hasselback potato sides. The corn was really good, the potato, just bland. The gave us a free dessert, which said 'Happy Birthday'. It was really nice, a really good experience, good food. There are a lot of steakhouses in the area. Not sure if BASK was special enough for a revisit, but we are really happy with the experience we had there.

Yelp
Great ambiance, food and service. Amazing corn, wagyu A5, aged and sirloin. Highly recommended the taste for 2. Drinks are amazing as well but, they need to offer a soufflé for desert.

Yelp
WOW! What a wonderful addition to East Roswell. We had the pleasure of eating at Bask Wednesday evening for the first time and it was fabulous from start to finish. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, I would describe it as approachable and "cozy" fine dining. The service was top notch, Alexander was our waiter and he was wonderful. The bar manager Elliot has created a really special mix of craft cocktails. I had the Oaxocan Dove which was delicious. And now the food.... 10++++. Wonderful menu of steaks and seafood with sides and salads that do not disappoint! I had the Wedge Salad, Filet and Hassleback Potatoes ( French style) and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had in some time. Excellent experience at Bask, we highly recommend, especially for a date night or special occasion, and will certainly be back. Thank you for this GEM in East Roswell!

Yelp
I went to Bask this past week for a business dinner and what a great experience!! The service was fantastic, great environment and the food was superb. Had the Elk carpaccio for an app along with the bone marrow. Amazing. The ribeye cap was perfect and the seafood Mac is something you must order. Great steakhouse and I will add this to my list of regulars.

Yelp
Fantastic new steakhouse in Roswell! Terrific staff with perfect smiles from Jessica and Elliott behind the bar. I highly recommend the spinalis chef cut steak. Cheers

Yelp
Love the bar but I wish the bartender would pour a decent size glass of wine considering the price. Steak was excellent but it should be for $70. Caprese salad was top-notch.

Yelp
The best steakhouse in Atlanta! This place is a sleeper. The service is second to none. The ambience is very laid back and reserved. The food is amazing. Me and my finance come here at least 2x/month.

Yelp
Indulging in a culinary experience at Bask, I encountered an intriguing mix of flavors and some unique elements. While the Waygu steak presented an interesting departure from my previous experience with distinct fat knots in the beef, not just the normal marbling, was a little disappointing. In addition, I must admit, as an enthusiast of medium-rare steaks, the undercooked preparation, bordering on rare plus, was not entirely to my taste. On the bright side, the impeccable service truly stood out, and the dessert proved to be a delightful finale that left a lasting impression. The restaurant's commitment to excellence in service is commendable and contributed sign to the overall positive experience. Despite the delectable offerings, I couldn't help but feel a slight disconnect from the romantic ambiance due to the proximity of our table to the bustling kitchen. It might enhance the overall dining atmosphere to consider enclosing the area with a door to minimize any auditory distractions from the kitchen activities, allowing patrons to fully immerse themselves in the culinary journey. When comparing the dining experience and value for money, I would position Bask slightly behind other upscale steak establishments such as Aberdeen, Chops, Bone's, and Hal's. If one is prepared to invest around $300 for a dining experience, exploring these alternative options might provide a more satisfying and well-rounded experience

Yelp
Went here for our 7th-anniversary dinner because we weren't feeling being in the city. It was a great experience! Reservations are easy to obtain with times that are not too late, and as far as steakhouses around the Atlanta metro area, you get a lot of value for the prices. The ambiance gives off mid-century modern vibes. It's a smaller restaurant, but it does not feel crowded it feels intimate. It is in a strip mall area so there is plenty of parking, but be advised, there is no valet so you may have to walk a bit in heels ladies...I think the city socialite in me prefers valet options everywhere lol. I find that a lot of the "high-end" steakhouses that are new to the city are gimmicky and the gimmicks are there to serve as lipstick and rouge to make up for the adequate but not memorable food...however, this place is not that. It's a beautiful steakhouse where the main attraction is the food and cocktails. Drinks: The glassware for the drinks is unique and sturdy and the cocktails are artistically crafted. Champagne and martinis come in 1920s-inspired champagne saucers which is a nice and classy touch. There are tons of fresh garnishes for all the drinks. During our short wait for our table, I enjoyed "Two Sides of the Coin," a beautiful and refreshing cocktail that was garnished with a hibiscus flower. My husband enjoyed his favorite drink, a slightly dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives (surprisingly blue cheese-stuffed olives are hard to find at a lot of places!). We also had glasses of processco and finished our night with espresso with our desserts Staff: From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by very pleasant employees. The hostess escorted us to the bar while we waited for our table to be readied, and the bar staff was very friendly and nice making sure we were satisfied with our drinks after tasting them. When we sat, we had a very knowledgeable server with great command in his knowledge of the menu. Food: We started off with the broiled oysters as an appetizer. The oysters were fresh, flavorful, and not overdone or over-seasoned like some places, that add too much cheese or accouterments which can take away from the oysters' flavor. We are big on seafood so this was important to us. As steak lovers, we were interested in several cuts so we settled on the steak tasting for two which included a 6 oz filet, 3oz wagyu strip, and 8 oz spinalis. The wagyu is to die for. It's as if a steak and a stick of butter had a baby. Packed full of flavor, moist, soft, and decadent. The spinalis was a new cut for me and I enjoyed it more than the filet, but be advised, EVERY cut in the tasting was phenomenal. Our sides were the broccoli rabe and the seafood macaroni and cheese. The sharable sides were very plentiful and flavorful. For dessert, we ordered two espressos and had a campfire cake with chocolate ganache and the creme brulee. The staff had chocolate happy anniversary signs placed on each dessert which was a nice touch. Overall, this will be one of my go-to steakhouses when I want to do something fancy that doesn't require me to go to the city. It's a wonderful hidden gem. Summary: A wonderful hidden gem. Excellent steakhouse with a lot of value for the prices, easy reservation options, and beautifully crafted drinks. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great place to have a romantic dinner or to bring friends who are in town.

Yelp
We were initially thrilled to dine here as first timers. Our expectations quickly dwindled with the wait of the appetizers taking 20 minutes and the 15 minute drink times. Elk Carpaccio doesn't need to be cooked as it is served cold, so there was no need for it to take 20 minutes. No reason for this other than negligence. Sheer disappointment throughout the meal. First time dining here, and we will not be back. The wallpaper looks that of a funeral home, and the food is WAY too expensive for what they "think" they can do/pull off. Over $300 for a party of two - money wasted. Can't even execute a med rare steak and the sides were cold. This establishment completely embarrassed me in front of a business client. This is clearly a "Mom N' Pop" that thinks they have all the answers to providing "good service", but the owners, according to their own customers are "clueless". If only the management knew what they were doing at all. This real estate location would thrive under a new concept with new owners.

Yelp
We had our sales kick off meeting this week in Atlanta and brought our company here to thank them for all their hard work. Every single person was blown away by food, service, and ambiance. This restaurant is comparable to little alley's except much better for this occasion because it wasn't super loud and we were all able to have conversations without screaming across the table. Elk Carpaccio is a MUST for the appetizer. We also devoured the hassle back potatoes and broiled oysters. Almost everyone got steak and everyone was happy and full. Next time will try the elk tenderloin. 10/10 CANT WAIT TO RETURN go off uncle Steve

Yelp
Had dinner at Bask last night and it was fantastic. The owners have created a beautiful magical place. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. Even the servers attire is on point. The food and cocktails all 5 stars! We will be back. So nice to have a steakhouse of this quality on our side of town. Perfect for any celebration or just a wonderful dinner anytime.
