One of the oldest gay bars in Las Vegas closes - Eater Vegas

"Bastille on 3rd, one of the oldest gay bars in Las Vegas, closed on Sunday. The bar, which went through a renovation in 2015 and converted from Snick’s Place, originally opened in 1976. It was purchased by Lance Johns four months ago, who plans to open new food-and-beverage businesses in the space." - Susan Stapleton

Cozy bar that's far enough from the Strip to be mostly free of tourists. Delicious speciality cocktails! Definitely worth a can ride (or a brisk stroll) if youre staying on the Strip or Downtown.

I remember when this place used to be a Rady little nasty hole in the law that you wouldn’t meant to go into. Now it’s pretty nice I have to say it’s whoever took over the place really did adjusters however there’s something about a dive bar and it’s all it’s sketchiness that make people real. you know what you’re getting, but the people here were nice the drinks were good the company I had was good and yes it was well decorated and comfortable and very homey I liked that about the place.

I had never been to this place until Friday night. It was pretty happening, lots of interesting fellows coming in and out of the bar. The drinks.. dear lord baby jesus.. the drinks are so amazing here, one of the top bartenders I've ever had. I'm serious. Every drink was so uniquely different from the other. It was a magical experience. My ONLY gripe is that the place smelled like smoke. Back in my day I didn't mind smokey bars, but I just can't do it anymore.

They have GREAT cocktails and have a happy hour, which can be followed up by trivia on certain nights of the week. So fun, only drag is the cigarette smoke because it is a small bar. Great spot to start before First Friday in the Arts District.

Small space but great service and drinks. The bartender "Baby T" was awesome , very friendly and recommended and made some great drinks. Worth a visit if near downtown/ arts district.

Fun, casual gay bar. They 2 for 1 drinks while we were there which made the drink prices cheap. Patrons seemed nice and friendly as well.

Always a good time. And the drinks are 2 for 1 from like 11 until 7 every day. Happy hour is a full time job.

A cozy little bar with quaint decor and fun french themed drinks. There are friendly helpful bartenders as well. I enjoy chilling here.
